• Cora (9/5): Uitstekende keuze - Het hotel is een gelegen in een charmant karakteristieke pand. De bedden zijn comfortabel en de douche is uitstekend. Het ontbijt is voldoende, paar opties voor bereiding eieren, vers fruit, brood en koffie. De lokatie is centraal dicht bij restaurants en cafés. De eigenaar heeft op het laatste moment voor ons een tour naar de waxpalmen kunnen regelen. Het pand is een beetje gehorig maar we hebben ‘s nachts weinig tot geen geluidsoverlast ervaren.

Espace communs, dont petit jardin, et, si besoin, une grande cuisine. Bon petit déjeuner au choix servi amplitude horaire. Tout est très propre et ordonné, le personnel très attentif et aimable, ainsi que le propriétaire qui vit sur place Le meilleur hôtel où j'ai séjourné en Colombie, au point que j'ai doublé ma réservation. Buen desayuno Bien ubicado, a pocos minutos de la plaza Tiene parking gratis a una cuadra del hotel. La habitación que reservamos era oscura, muy muy espartana y sin ninguna decoración. No se si todas serán así… Caro para la calidad de la habitación.
• Jens (10/5): Fantastisch! - Ein sehr schönes Haus in zentraler Lage von Salamina. Der Empfang durch Victor war herzlich und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist mal richtig gut. Es gibt genügend guten Kaffee. Ich habe hier also gar nichts vermisst und komme gerne wieder. Dankeschön! Ein Hinweis zur Anfahrt: Wer aus Richtung Medellin mit dem eigenen Auto kommt, wird irgendwann von der Hauptstraße links abbiegen und eine kleine Straße über La Merced nach Salamina fahren. Über die Hälfte dieser Strecke ist nicht asphaltiert und nur sehr langsam und echt rau zu fahren. Das Gehoppel geht locker zwei Stunden. Ich empfehle, das nicht mit einem Kleinwagen zu machen. Ich hatte einen Renault Duster Stepway, der etwas höher liegt und mir gerade so ausreichend schien. Dann gab es kurz vorm Ziel eine Baustelle mit kompletter Straßensperre (Anfang November 2025). Dies bedeutende einen Umweg von weiteren knapp zwei Stunden, das meiste davon ebenfalls über Stock und Stein und im Kleinwagen absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Von Manizales kommend ist die Straße komplett asphaltiert. Das ist die bessere Route.

• Anne (10/5): We hadden een geweldig verblijf dat voelde als een warm bad - Casa Lola is een prachtig hotel met heerlijke kamers in een rustig straatje in Salamina. Het personeel doet alles om het je naar de zin te maken en het voelt allemaal heel persoonlijk. Wij reisden met jonge kinderen en het personeel deed haar uiterste best om ons kamers naast elkaar te geven. Ook was iedereen heel behulpzaam bij het plannen van uitstapjes
• Mariella (9/5): Prachtig koloniaal hotel. - Prachtig koloniaal hotel. Wij hadden een mooie comfortabele tweepersoons kamer , brede bedden met privé badkamer, de kinderen hadden badkamer op de gang. Ontbijt was beneden in de prachtige centrale ruimte. Ze hebben ook voor ons de lokale tours geboekt met uitstekende gidsen. Tip: ik zou een kamer boeken met eigen badkamer dus niet op de gang.

Great location because it is only two blocks away from the main Plaza so you avoid the noise from the the night clubs and pubs. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast could be a little better. Bread and arepas were not that fresh.

Breakfast in the courtyard was tasty and adequate. Very close too main plaza in town. Off-road parking is available nearby, but only one space! With the hotel everything was fine. The streets nearby the hotel can be very steep and narrow - two of them our car was incapable of climbing!
