• Margaret (7/5): We prefer to stay in older small motels, we would stay here again - No breakfast offered, but Cruizers Family Diner was nearby and had a great breakfast there. Spacious room Nice large tv For an older motel it is nice We had trouble getting the TV to work and when we got channels there was no volume. By morning there was volume. Stains on underside of one bedspread. Sink faucet was difficult. Towels were skimpy.

• Katherine (3/5): You get what you pay for - Served a purpose. Cheap. Painted tubs were chipped and peeling. Cigarette burns on tubs and sinks. Holes in comforters.

First room A/C wasn’t really doing anything after an hour. Innkeeper offered another room, much better. Not much in room, no soap, no Kleenex. Tub hardware painted? Medium/adequate clean.

• Cole (10/5): I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for my two days here in winimac for my deer hunt - It was very conveniently located only a 6 min drive to get to the front entrance of tippyCanoe river state park. Right across the street there is a grocery store that I really liked. There really isn’t anything not to like. It’s got a vintage feel to it but still very clean. I felt right at home.

• Jill (2/5): Old but well kept - Very old hotel with what seems like permanent residents living there. Very shady interactions happening in the parking lot. Room was clean just very dated. It felt like stepping back into 1980
• Mark (6/5): - Our reservation was for two queen size beds, our room had two full size beds. The A/C unit in the room didn't work properly, the air barely trickled out, there was no difference between high and low fan speed. The door jam looked as if it had been kicked in at one time, there was a metal flat bar across where it has been broken. The carpeting around the walls was dirty and unvacuumed. The bath tub appeared to have been painted at one time but the paint is worn off in many spots making the tub look dirty and unappealing. Next time if in the area we will find another place to stay. We didn't think the price was bad based on the reviews, however our own experiences do not agree with the previous reviews.

• Benjamin (8/5): Nice; acceptable as very few lodging options. - Nice hotel, without many amenities. Not a lot of options in Winamac or nearby towns. Everything was unplugged initially, so it took a bit to get the room cool. 2nd floor, and door opened to an internal hallway. When the a/c shut off, the cigarette smoke crept into the room which was a little unpleasant. But beds and bathroom were clean and everything worked.
• Ed (6/5): It was worth the money for the one night we were there. It met our needs and was clean. - The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. Lots of towels. Check in clerk was very pleasant, kind and helpful. The fridge was a good size and had a good sized freezer. We were able to refreeze the ice packs and keep our food cool overnight. The bathtub was chipping off, shower difficult to use. In very poor shape, this was a disappointment. There wasn't a little bulb in the lamp. The hallway smelled of smoke, even though, there were no smoking signs everywhere. We could hear the people below, too loud and the guy below snoring woke my wife up several times in the night!

They didn’t have a main floor room for my elderly Dad. He had to go upstairs. The bath tubs were clean but, we’re painted and some of the paint was pealing. It was pretty bad in my daughter’s room and she has 2 children that needed baths.

• Disappointed (2/5): - I drove 6 hours to see my best friend before I moved across country, I stayed here, the carpets were dirty, the bathroom was dirty, the clean washclothes were stained, my comforter was filthy, there were bedbugs and the shower did not work

The place is rather out of date but I would gladly stay there again. WIFI worked only intermittently, so I ended up using my data for the little bit of internet I needed while there.
