- Sarah-Jayne (8/5): - The hosts were so lovely and helped us all the time A bit cold at night and not enough toilet paper for everyone

- Oliva Maria (5/5): Difícil acceso - El trato del personal Tiene unas escaleras infinitas para llegar. No apto para maletas o personas no jóvenes.

- Rooney (8/5): - I liked that there were some chairs upstairs to chill on and there's also a very friendly cat. The staff were all very nice. Breakfast was fine with bread eggs, juice and tea/coffee, I'm vegan so instead of eggs they gave me a bowl of fruit. Room was pretty cold. You are not allowed to use the water to wash your clothes.
- elisabeta (2/5): - Booked a room with double bed and got a room with 4 single beds. Price was calculated with an unfair exchange rate.
- Aleksandra (6/5): - Gorący prysznic
Śniadanie, małe ale dobre
🙀 Kot wspaniały Skrzypiąca podłoga

- Aleksandra (6/5): - Good shower Weak property. Clean rooms, shared bathroom. Unfortunately, upon arrival there was a problem with the room. I had booked with a private bathroom, but the owner did not want to agree. I viewed several rooms and ended up taking one without a private bathroom.
Breakfast was very small, but good. On the floor there is a small kitchen; in the kettle I found matches and an empty matchbox. Afterwards the kettle was not suitable for boiling water, and the owner gave me a pot instead. I was reprimanded several times for boiling water for tea and coffee. The regulations clearly state that it is allowed to prepare drinks and instant soups.
Savings everywhere, no care for the guest. In addition, I had to ask three times for a second towel, and only received it the next day with the question of where the previous towels were.
On the positive side, the shower head was good. But there are no more advantages.
I should also add that I rinsed my socks with water and that was an issue, as I was told I should use the laundry service. For four socks? Absurd.
We are disappointed.
- Aleksandra (5/5): - Shower We rebooked the property and requested check-in between 9 and 10 p.m. The owner agreed. We arrived on time, but then received a message saying there was no room for us. The message had been sent at 2 p.m. on the day of arrival, and we had no chance to see it earlier.
The owner came up with the idea of moving us to another, more expensive property of lower standard. After some discussion, he agreed to cover the price difference and offered us breakfast (which was not included in the new place). Tired, we had to walk at night to the other location. We do not recommend this owner or such an approach to guests. Very disappointing.
- Arnold Gavilán (10/5): Lo mejor. - La atención del personal. En realidad me gustó todo.
- Brandy (10/5): -
Pésimo hostal, nunca mas volvería a ir y mucho menos recomendarlo.
- Sha (7/5): Good place for short stay - Clean room and bathroom
Beds were clean but headboard was noisy. Floor is super thin and made noisy even simple steps but wasn’t a trouble expected on a mountain terrain like Cusco.
Bf was not bad but no milk for coffee. Room Was very cold but host provided plenty of blankets.
Terrible water service.
- Andrea (10/5): -
- Barrios (6/5): -
- Angel (6/5): Pleasant - The clean the beds The toilet very small
- Debora (8/5): Very good - Very welcoming and friendly host, good breakfast. With the option to store luggage in case you want to do a short overnight trip to Machu Pichu.
- Svajone (7/5): Good -
- Enget (6/5): Meh - Room was big We’re old and run down, up a lot of stairs to get there
- Flo (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is very kind. She helped us book a tour to Palccoyo mountain. She even walked with us into town at 4:30 in the morning to make sure we got picked up by the tour agency! The hostel is very nice too, the rooms are a bit cold but you get a lot of blankets so we were never cold during the night. The bathroom is very clean and the location is also very good. You just have to walk up stairs from the centre to get there but it's Cusco, there just are a lot of stairs. The breakfast is great too! We could also leave our backpacks for a few days when we went to Ollantaytambo. I recommend this hostel to anyone! It exceeded our expectations, mostly because of the kindness of the owner.
- Hugard (7/5): Good -
- Ipushima (5/5): Passable -
- Gnetus (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and simple place, just as advertised. Perfect for a short stay in Cusco. The hosts are lovely, would recommend!
- Petr (8/5): Very good - Good Wi-Fi signal The owner didn't tell us that they serve breakfast till 9am so we missed one. Location and not enough hot water.
- Patrik (6/5): Pleasant -
- Patrik (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anita (6/5): Pleasant - Considerate staff, great that we could leave our luggage for a week while hiking. Thin walls, uncomfortable beds, and not always hot water.
- Katy (5/5): Cheap but not worth it - Good location at the top of San Blas region in Cusco (up a lot of steps!). Comfortable beds and good pillows. Friendly staff who let us check in a little bit early. Cheap but not sure it's worth it... We booked a room with city views but the window was completely blocked by a building meaning there was no natural light at all so the room feels like dungeon! Sadly the whole building is quite dark due to the new building next door. Breakfast is on the top floor in a light room where once would have been a great view which is now blocked. Breakfast was standard/ basic, but the bread was stale. We also paid $4USD more than the stated price due to "commission" which they couldn't explain. If they stated which rooms have light/are not blocked I think this is an OK place to stay for the price if you are prepared for which room you'll have.
- Anita (6/5): Pleasant - Location. Nice staff. Thin walls.....
- Joe (9/5): Perfect! - Very comfortable beds, the WiFi was really big good and the shower was great! Warm and good pressure :) the staff are so friendly and made us feel at home :) the breakfast was very good too! This is an excellent stay for the price! I even came back after Machu Picchu and extended my stay!
- Patrik (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jovana (7/5): Good for a short stay - The room was big and comfortable, the owners are also very nice. There was a problem with pipes, so we didn’t have water a few times.
- Paloma (10/5): Perfect! - Everything 😊 especially the host! beaucoup de marches a monter ahaha
- Oyarzun (9/5): Superb -
- Sander (9/5): Superb - The host Marianela was one of the kindest hostel owners we've ever met. She made us breakfast outside of regular hours because we were leaving earlier, and arranged taxis and cheap tours for us. The hostel itself is quiet and simple, but lovely and cosy. There's quite some stairs to get up to the hostel, but that was very manageable
- Claire (5/5): Passable - The room was quiet and cosy enough. Good price/quality relationship. The bathroom wasn’t very clean and the toilet were running out of water. The landlady was always spying on us to verify if we used well the bathroom… not very welcoming. Moreover they were cutting the water off during the night.
- Michele (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michele (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (9/5): Superb - It was very nice
- Ryu (8/5): Good place to stay - The owner and staff were super nice. The kitchen is a bit small with no fridge.
The bathroom got blocked and shower was cold.
- Chase (4/5): Not the most comfortable stay and offputting host, but good price for a short stay in San Blas - Location at the top of San Blas was nice, and the rate was fair relative to other options Unfortunately quite unorganized and overall not the most comfortable stay. Private room wasn’t ready so placed us in a different shared room for part of the stay. No towels, hand soap, toilet paper, or any basic toiletries at first, and some sheets and facilities are not quite up to a clean standard but still okay for a few nights given the nightly rate. The main lady host was reluctant at first to provide advertised breakfast or even a cup of coffee, however, the daughter was helpful and it was a nice basic breakfast when provided!
I think the listing might be outdated as every window was blocked by a building wall (although maybe not their fault) so the entire building except for the rooftop is quite dark and cold. Also regulated all the facilities to the point where they turn off the hot water mid shower. We are very eco conscious ourselves, especially at this price point, but I think there’s definitely a line when it comes to compromising the basic stay for your guests.
I guess the overall shame is the woman owner’s reluctance to provide a “standard” stay, even after their discrepancies with our reservation and while we always remained friendly/understanding from our side. However the husband was very helpful and understanding at the end, and the beds were comfortable enough to get a good rest! We are still grateful for the stay but unfortunately would choose differently next time. Thank you nonetheless and best wishes!
- Natalia (4/5): Good price, but would not come back, no hot water - Good price, large room, clean No hot water, very cold, average location, they no longer have a view of the city because someone built there, we used their laundry service, but not only did the service take a long time, they also returned it still wet
- Erin (10/5): Wonderful relaxing place in an awesome location. - Super clean and comfy place to stay near bus stations! It has a beautiful balcony that is perfect for yoga or sharing a beer with some new friends! Beds were so nice! And the kitchen was very clean and easy to use! There is also laundy there too! Carlos is super friendly and helpful for knowing where to explore! Shower was a little small, but still hot and clean.
- Stefanie (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lucía (5/5): Passable - Breakfast was good and comfy beds. No fridge, only a two-ring cooker and almost no utensils. It is on a very steep hill with many steps. Not suitable for old and unfit people.
- Jae (9/5): Superb - Location and friendly owner and staff It was all good
- Sophie (9/5): Superb - Very friendly owner.
They welcomed us early in the morning before the oficial Check in time and made us a warm tea. So nice!
Nice breakfast.
- Carlos (10/5): Honest and kind-hearted people that will help you with anything you need - We were confused over what to do and how to do it in Cusco, they received us and gave us honest recommendations that fit multiple budgets, they talked to another hostel in Aguas Calientes so we wouldn't pay both hostels during our trip to Machu Picchu.
I'm incredibly grateful over how kind, honest and trustworthy the A that ran the hotel (Marianela and Hernán) was.
We were given honest prices whereas in many other places people tried to take advantage of us with tourist prices. Sometimes the water ran a bit cold, but it's not unbearable.
- Anne (9/5): Superb - Small but clean and comfortable room. Very kind hosts! Comfortabel beds! We could leave some luggage here during hikes. Shared kitchen is in the house, of you communicate with the family to use it they make sure that you can and clean it for you, but it does feel a bit out of your comfort zone.
- Olga (8/5): Very good - It was a pretty good room for that price. The staff was really pleasant, helpful and patient. They booked several tours for us, which was really handy. We were warned about everything and got all the necessary information about activities. Firstly our room didn't have a window at all, but we asked and changed it. We had to ask to turn on the hot water most of the time. Also blankets were heavy
- Ana (8/5): Very good - Big room with comfy beds. They were kind to store our luggage while we went to MP. Not their fault but there was shortage of water and made it difficult to use the toilet/shower properly for 2 days.
FYI: payment by card incurred an extra 5%.
- Leen (10/5): Heartwarming host - We stayed here in total for almost 1 week. The host is super friendly and heartwarming. When I was not feeling 100% she even made me a soup. Everything is there to have a good stay in Cusco. Thé neighbourhood is also really nice! Nothing in particular
- Johan (10/5): Very kind host and lovely place. - We we're very well taken care of and the host was very accommodating to our vegan diet for breakfast. Even though we had checked out and were leaving late at night, she allowed us to stay in our room and leave our bags without an extra charge. Well worth the prize, would stay here again. The room is a bit dark and cold but you get free access to the top floor and common room where it's hot. Also I wouldn't bother cooking your own food here unless it's an absolute necessity, it's just to much of a hassle getting the stove to work.
- Ludovica (7/5): Be ready for some stairs and enjoy the view - Hosts are great and at disposal for any need or suggestion, breakfast available for free every morning agreed in time with owners and good location next to artist block in Cusco. I wasn't expecting stairs to reach the hostel and hot water is not always available, but you just need to inform owners in advance and they will get it available for you shortly.
- Vimal (10/5): Welcome Cusco - Super happy - The host Hernan, is a terrific guy. Well informed and an excellent tourist guide. Helped me get around Cusco and also organize private tours to Lares (a less known, but beautiful spot in the mountains). Places to visit, eat, transportation, a very reliable source.
Quite a delicious breakfast as well
