Dave (8/5): Good over all, other that the annoyance when checking out. - Check in went smoothly and the room was clean, tidy and very roomy. The matress was rather soft for my preference, then again I do recognise that Hotels do need to cater for a wide range of customers. One thing that was annoying is the office was not open on time for check out, and the staff member did not answer the service phone despite calling 3 times. I ended up calling the direct line via the number supplied on booking.com and was told to leave the keys in a slotted box outside. So after a 15-20 minute wait I was finally able to check out. Perhaps have the office open on time, and for "after hours" check out have the slotted box labelled as key drop off, to avoid such annoyances for other customers.
Mezcol (4/5): Everything is great except for the pitiful bed. - Room had good facilities . The room was advertised as a queen room, but the bed was a double. The bed was an extremely soft bed which was difficult for two people to get a comfortable sleep.

It was well kept, staff are super accommodating and lovely. Peaceful and serene spot. Super comfy beds. Incredible value for money. More pillows in the beds is the only thing that would make it perfect for me. ☺️

Didn't need aircon as it was only mid 20's and doors on both sides for air flow. It was very quiet being just out of town but there's a small airport nearby so it was fun to see the occasional small plane. Easy parking. Front desk guy seemed very down. I'd previously cancelled a booking here based on more recent reviews but it was great. A couple in a room near me said their room smelt badly of stale cigarettes. If that was me this would be a different review. I would have asked to change room or get a full refund.

The shower screen needed repair and the close covered one hinge was missing off the door and the carpet needed replacing or cleaned.

Debra (1/5): Will not stay again - Decent coffee and biscuits. Shower had black mold and so did the toilet and it smelt like urine. There was no plug for the sink. No iron and the ironing board was broken and dangerous. The curtains were faded and falling off in some section. The carpet was dirty and had either a vomit stain or drink stain which had not been removed . the chairs had food stains and some holes in the arms. All the cutlery and plates were miss matched.

Harper (3/5): I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. - The spa bath was actually decent and working. The size of the room was good. The room was old and smelled a bit stale. The floor wasn't clean. The drapes were falling off the rails. The whole place felt like it was falling down. The single bed was literally broken. The staff were not friendly or inviting and I honestly didn't feel safe overnight.
