My favourite place for breakfast is a cafe called Peak Cafe. I highly recommend doing the sunset kayak trip to see bioluminescent plankton. It was my favourite trip during my 3 week stay, brilliant guide and a magical experience. Last but by no means least the staff are really lovely and helpful. • Davide (8/5): It could be a 10/10 with some more improvement - Sunanta Bungalow's position on the west coast of Koh Lanta is excellent: you are close to many delicious restaurants and walking to klong khong beach takes less than 5 minutes. The swimming pool is quiet and ideal to relax when it is too hot for the beach (even though some shading on it would be useful) or when you want to bring your kids out for a quick splash. Breakfast at the cafe is quite good. The staff is always available to help at any request. Overall the rooms are quite basic and look a bit less polished than what you see in the pictures. Unfortunately we found the room to be quite dirty (especially where you don't immediately see it, for example there was a lot of dust, hair and stuff under the bed and the headboard) and almost every night we had some undesired "guest" (ants, cockroaches - and mosquitoes when the A/C was off, while they mainly went away when it was turned on). The door of the bungalow did not lock properly. The cafe is expensive compared to what you can find in the immediate surroundings.

• Jean Francois (2/5): Ne convient pas pour trois personnes. - La proximité de la plage, le jardin. Vendu pour 3 personnes, il n'y a qu'un lit double, dans la chambre, climatisée. Mais pour la troisième personne, pas de lit, juste un petit cliclac en skaï, dans une pièce à l'arrière dotée juste d'un petit ventilateur mural bruyant. Impossible de dormir dans ces conditions. La salle de bain est bien trop petite, lavabo minuscule et branlant.

• CELINE (10/5): Un véritable coup de coeur pour cet hôtel qui a rendu notre séjour sur cette magnifique île de Koh Lanta encore plus mag - La gentillesse du staff : Pete, Yu Yu, les femmes de ménages, le jardinier… Tout le monde est adorable, accueillant et prêt à aider pour notre confort. La localisation est top : vraiment à 3min à pied de la magnifique plage et entouré de commerces, restaurants… Le calme ! Petit écrin verdoyant où on déconnecte du monde. Le bungalow, confortable, équipé, piscine très propre à disposition sans contrainte horaire… Rien, nous avons tout aimé et ça reste la meilleure partie de notre séjour de 2 semaines en Thaïlande !

Rooms are extremely spacious with a small annex which can be used as a study or second bedroom. Rooms are on the older side and a little run down. Poor drainage and lack of ventilation in the bathroom has caused some mould. Functional but loud air con unit. In general not as nice as other places we stayed on the trip, but fine if you’re on a budget.

Peter und Yuyu helfen überall, wo sie können :) - Sehr gute Lage (nahe zum Strand, zu Restaurants und 7-11 ist auch nicht weit) - saubere und gut gepflegte Poollandschaft mit Liegen. Perfekt für eine Abkühlung zwischendurch - Beim dazugehörigen Café gibt es leckere Speisen und Frühstück und der Kaffee ist richtig gut (espresso Siebträger Maschine) Gerne wieder :) Das Bad könnte etwas besser sein (Wasserdruck bei der Dusche und der Abfluss sind nicht optimal) Wir hatten das große Zimmer mit eigener Küche. Vielleicht ist es bei den anderen Zimmern besser. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt jedoch nicht getrübt darum trotzdem 10 Punkte

• Chloe (9/5): A charming place to stay and explore from… - I loved this little place! The bungalow itself was a little tired (but is often the case on the islands) but the small, intimate feel with immaculate garden and pool made it our favourite place to stay. Comfortable, new sun loungers by the pool which was never too busy. A brilliant massage on the beach just 2 minute walk away. The German guy was SO welcoming, friendly and helpful too. Lots of places to eat within walking distance along with 7/11! We hired a moped for 2 days and had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful island. Visit Koh Lanta Animal Welfare - such a worthwhile charity. Air conditioning wasn’t brilliant!

• Nicolas (9/5): Excellent - I had a bungalow, the accommodation was very clean with a stunning view on the "backyard" (very noisy with cicadas & other critters at night, for me it's very relaxing, if you can't sleep with the noise, stay elsewhere! 😜 ). The breakfast is served in front of the premise in the coffee-corner, served with a lot care by very kind & lovely staff. Try to combine the classic eggs breakfast with their own made signature sausage varieties. Jummy! Since the Island is pretty stretched out, a scooter is also "must do" in this Island in which the owner was very helpful to make the necessary arrangements for properly maintained bikes without any fuss. The same for tours on and around the Island. I had a most enjoyable stay there and would come again when the opportunity arises. The shower head head was broken, the owner however was very helpful and fixed the issue promptly. Nevertheless the water pressure is way too low by my standards, especially compared to another stay I had earlier in Lanta with excellent showers, so this could be improved. A good shower is very important I think, especially in this kind of climate. The toilet filler valve needs fixing as well, I am self-helpful & could manage during my stay, so I reported the issue but it could wait until I left. The worn furniture needs an update as well I think. All by all these are just some minor flaws for me: I had a marvellous stay and would come back any time again, but I strongly recommend to pay more attention for these.

La propriétaire est vraiment très gentille et attentionnée, elle a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Elle parle français, ce qui est un grand plus. • Charles (9/5): Pour un excellent séjour à Koh Lanta! - Le bungalow est très propre et confortable. Le ménage est fait régulièrement et ils offrent le service de lavage pour les vêtements. Il y a une superbe piscine et un resto. Les propriétaires font tout pour faciliter nos déplacements à l’arrivée et aux départs (tuk tuk, bus, bateau, transport vers l’aéroport, etc). Ce sont des gens accueillants et sympathiques.

• Robin (7/5): Goede uitvalsbasis voor Ko Lanta - Zeer vriendelijke personeel, leuke koffiebar bij de accommodatie. Zwembadje aanwezig en locatie midden op het eiland is een goede uitvalsbasis. Op 100 meter van het strand, ideaal voor de eerste dag. De eigenaren kunnen een busje of boot regelen voor je volgende bestemming. Er zijn ook brommers te huur voor een goeie prijs. Veel lawaai, ons huisje lag naast de waterinstallatie en dunne muurtjes tussen de (snurkende) buren. Het bed was ook hard, maar dat lijkt een probleem te zijn over gans Thailand.

• Samantha (10/5): Sweet little place to stay - quiet and comfortable! - Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. You feel like part of a little community when staying here. Pool area is lovely. Smoothies in restaurant are delicious. For me, I need a room with a desk to work from, and this property provided that. They also helped my friend with transfer planning and gave help booking tours. Nothing to note! I’m happy with my stay and even extended to stay longer.

The bungalows are excellent, big, clean, the garden is beautiful, nice pool. I also have to mention that the owners were very helpful and attentive at every moment, they gave nice recommendations and even offered help with some things that I needed to get done. The personnel at the cafe was also very nice, I have nothing negative to say about this place, would totally recommend it to anyone. You can walk from your room to the beach in less than 3-5 minutes, and there are nice local restaurants also less than 5 min walking. Everything about this place was excellent

Légers défauts du logement (lavabo qui bouge, porte vitrée peu hermétique et canapé lit assez inconfortable pour un adulte mais ok pour un petit et léger enfant)

• Kimberley (10/5): Lovely peaceful getaway - The host, Jay, was soooo helpful. Replied to any messages very quickly, rented us a bike and sorted out transport to Ao Nang. Room was clean and pool was very nice. Decorated the room with banana leaves and flowers for partner's birthday. Very relaxed atmosphere. Some ants around that found their way into the room. No fault of the property or host though. Shower water pressure a bit weak.

The location is perfect because it’s close to the restaurants and the beach and it’s near by a coconut mangroove so it’s very quiet and calm. The pool is also very good, we were all days alone! Nothing, everything was good

• Elizabeth (10/5): 100% would love to stay again - Everyone working there was so lovely! The location was perfect and the room was spacious with 2 lovely balconies. The pool was super clean and we enjoyed the breakfast we had there too. We lost our money on the last day and Meow was so kind offering to keep a look out for any notices on their local Facebook group Only tiny thing was that it would have been great to have the bins emptied and some new soap but it’s a very small thing!

• Harry (10/5): Can’t recommend enough, I would certainly stay here again if I come back to Koh Lanta - This property is absolutely fantastic, the host was unbelievably friendly and helpful when we tried to find moped rental as well as general info about Koh Lanta. The property has a lovely communal and peaceful atmosphere with a quiet and stunning beach only a few minutes away offering a perfect respite for anyone visiting Koh Lanta, it’s also well located to be in short distance from the port, south of the island and the old town. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who wants a peaceful place to stay.

• Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Most importantly, the host was such a kind soul. He was relaxed and welcoming from beginning to end. Generous with both his time and spirit. Other stuff: The rooms were clean, fresh and spacious. The whole place had a community feel. The view was glorious - I could see the ocean. The location was perfect. Next to the beach, restaurants or anything you might need. 100% recommendation from me.
• Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - I couldn't fault this place, for us it was perfect! The bungalow had 2 bedrooms and was really clean and really well presented. Including beach towels you could take out with you. We are traveling with kids so the second bedroom worked great using the sofa bed, there's also a desk overlooking the beach. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The pool was clean and good fun. It's 2 minutes from the beach. Breakfast was lovely, best coffee you can get in the area. In the evening they do homemade sausages which were fantastic. The host was great and really helpful, sorted us out with a day trip and bus transfer when we left. We stayed in 3 places in koh lanta but this is the one that we would return to. Thank you so much for a great week.

• Place (10/5): A great, value packed, friendly stay - location provides a great opportunity to explore the beach, the restaurants and cafes and is midway between Saladan and the National Park. The staff are fantastic , helpful and so friendly. The rooms are well equipped, and the pool and surroundings provide an little oasis. Nothing, it is just great
• Annika (10/5): A perfect stay - Everything about the experience was perfect all round, we were made to feel welcome by Jay as soon as we arrived. The new pool was perfect for relaxing and the room was cleaned to the highest standard. Jay helped us to arrange a scooter and gave us lots of good recommendations for the island. Would come back anytime! Can’t think of a single issue everything was exceptional.
• Hanlie (6/5): We did not expect 5* for what we paid, and overall it’s not a bad experience. The island itself was a disappointment. Th - Very clean, lovely garden Beware! There is no sea view as advertised. Aircon is not efficient at all. Bed in our room was not comfortable.

Genuinely kind and thoughful. Easy going. Great spatious room, comfy bed, great air con and Fridge. Quiet spot and lots of trees.
• Beate (7/5): All in all everything was OK for the money I paid - The Bungalow was big enough, bed was comfortable, cleaning service was every other day, which was fine, They offered laundry service, which was done pretty quick, lots of restaurants within walking distance, but if you want to explore the island, you need a scooter …in fact I asked the manager Baitong if she could help with renting a scooter, and she made sure the scooter was there by the time I got to the bungalow, the manager Baitong was very helpful with anything and always reachable. She even organized my transfer from and to the airport ….Baitong and the rest of the staff was very helpful and super nice. I had a problem with my air conditioning and Baitong made sure that a maintenance guy showed up very quickly to fix it. Thanks for everything. There was a bit of an ant problem, but that’s also kind of expected in countries like that… Also, the whole bungalow with its walls and bathroom could use a renovation.
• Camila (10/5): Exceeds every expectation! - amazing place! It totally exceeded my expectations. The hosts were incredible, very friendly, helped with everything. The room was big, had a balcony where I could chill every day. It's 5 min walk from the beach and also has a swimming pool in the area. Way quieter than bigger places around, in this one you can actually relax. :)

• Vittoria (10/5): Fun,safe,cozy and welcoming - Good position for Long Beach but easy to reach all the other main spots and beautiful beaches.Basically in the the middle between old town and the south area of the island.Good for the trip from and to Krabi Airport. Room is super clean and I felt definitely welcomed and safe. Special huge Thanks to Bai-tong, I adore her, she took care of me and my friend so well and provided everything we need. I definitely recommend to stay here for visiting Koh Lanta,can't wait to be back! Breakfast was very good and love also the nice pool It was all good and perfect
• Devere-bennett (10/5): This property is perfect for a relaxed, comfy week at the beach. I would absolutely recommend staying here. - The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We loved that our room had a kitchen and balcony and was very spacious. The wifi didn’t work very well from our room. At the same time, it worked great in other areas on the property and this is a place to come to relax, so we were fine with it.

• Peter (10/5): A perfect base station to stay and relax or to explore the island from. - I was very pleased with the location. The property itself matched my high expectations. But above all, the management makes sure to answer all your questions and does all that is possible to fullfill your requierements, without the problem of a language handicap (i don 't speak thai). For any need they can either fullfill it, or refer someone they have confidence will deliver to meet expectations. I think everything was perfect, if i need to add something, i would add that perhaps a pillow that is not so thick is more to my taste. But it never bothered me enough to ask for a thinner pillow. I am sure they would come with a solution had i asked.

• Kyrylo (10/5): If you're looking for a fantastic place to stay near the sea, I highly recommend the Sunanta Bungalo - First of all, the cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable. Everything is spotless and well-maintained, making you feel instantly comfortable and relaxed. Speaking of the staff, they are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people you'll ever meet. They go out of their way to make sure you feel at home and are always willing to help with anything you need. Last but not least, the atmosphere of the hotel is simply wonderful. It's warm and inviting, and you'll immediately feel right at home
