Guest Reviews
- Catherine (10/5): Will stay again. I’m still getting used to prices going up but the breakfast was excellent so $170 a night was reasonabl - Easy to get too Rooms were spacious and clean
- Victor (9/5): - The hallway carpeting was a little dirty and could use cleaning.
- Sue (8/5): -

- Barbara (10/5): Lovely visit! - Very helpful and welcoming staff. The pool looked awesome! Next time, I'll pack my suit and get some laps in!
Breakfast offered as well, but I missed. There is a coffee machine and coffee supplies in the room, so you can brew your own first thing. Mini fridge as well; no freezer section.
The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with two doors, one accessing parking and other interior building. Quiet location and facility. Extra thanks to staff who create the very ornate towel folding creations-this is a very nice touch to find when one is on the road for work. Greatly appreciated! I'll be back! Didn't find a thing, but my own fault- missed breakfast.

- Brad (8/5): -

- Elizabeth (10/5): Would stay here again! - Clean, quiet, comfortable with dining options nearby. We had no issues. There is no elevator, so if that is something you need ask for a room on the first floor. We were able to park near the door to the stairs, which were wide and easy to navigate.
- Amy (1/5): Horrible service - They sold our room that we had booked for a festival in Redmond months in advanced before we got there at 9:30 at night to check in cause they couldn't get ahold of us(festival didn’t have phone service). There was no place left to book anywhere because of the festival. Manager was rude and said too bad basically.
- Dana (8/5): - Ok
- McKinley (7/5): -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room got very humid because the moisture from the bathroom seemed to have no where to go. That was a but uncomfortable but everything else was great!
- Michael (10/5): Enjoyable stopover in Prineville - Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs and bacon. The decor was tasteful and interesting. The room was large and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- Kathleen (10/5): - We had a great stay! Friendly staff and nice room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Accessibility limitation - Everything was fine, except a handicapped accessible room should not require a person to step up into a bathtub in order to shower (which my husband had to do).
- Steve (6/5): For last minute it worked. I will probably do more price shopping next time. - The location, the cleanliness, the comfort The price per night was expensive !! The fridge was a bit stinky. The coffee and coffee pot didn’t work well at all. The coffee was like water. The roller was very small and low.
- Marc (4/5): - Breakfast over at 9am, We were put in the back building on the bottom floor, lot's of doors slamming shut and people stomping around at 7am.
- Larry D. (10/5): - A well kept property…welcoming front desk…great location…
- devinn (10/5): - Great hotel - we stay every year
- Maya (8/5): Clean, Friendly, but not for dogs. - Great location, staff and cleanliness throughout. Our room had all the basics for a comfortable stay. Theme of the place was around a number of cute bronze sculptures laced around the property, making it whimsical and friendly.
In Our case, booked the room, and I thought it was pet friendly (having stayed at previous Best Westerns throughout Oregon with our dog), and when checking in, discovered it was not pet friendly (even though we saw a designated pet pee area next to the parking lot). As a result, my husband drove our dog back home and did not attend the event we’d planned that evening in Prineville. I ended up going as a single and gotta ride home with friends the next morning. When booking, I always start out checking the box for Pet Friendly places, but apparently it wasn’t checked, or their policy recently changed, and I went on previous Best Western stays. The hall carpets looked like they needed a really good cleaning, or updating.
- Kristien (9/5): Very big room, great location - Big room, great location, plenty of parking, very friendly staff Bit noisy at night, seems like you could hear showers/baths in the other rooms
- Quintanar (10/5): Exceptional - The beds were comfortable and breakfast was yummy and the pool was fun. The first time in the pool someone who worked there brought their kids and wife. his children were purposely splashing near my baby so that made me mad because we were paying for the pool and they just go for fun. The next time we went to the pool there were very respectful older people so my son got swim a little. I liked that it was very close to the park and a grocery store. And we were able to bring our service dog.
- Timothy (10/5): - We went to a 3 dog night in Redmond with the family.
- Frankie (10/5): Exceptional -
- 719kieferb (2/5): Dawn the manager needs to be fired!!! - I was here on a long business trip for work, and what an experience it was. The first part of the stay wasn’t too bad but it gradually got worse. The staff reused to change my bed sheets or vacuum my room! Hello? It got to the point where I had to ask the front desk for a vacuum. When the manager Dawn got involved, it only got worse. “If you don’t want to stay here you can leave”. What?! I just wanted my room cleaned. You need to be fired Dawn. I was planning on cleaning my room myself and not leaving a review but now I am livid. I will never stay here again.
- Russel (10/5): - This stay was part of our Oregon Outback bicycle trip and the staff were so helpful. We asked, “Where can we put our bikes?” not adding about the miles of dust accumulated. But they answered -right in your room, i’m sure enough with the hard surface floors. It was no problem. Great breakfast too!
Oh, and there’s a laundromat in the shopping center right adjacent., And a grocery store.
- Morticia415 (4/5): Don't - I'll start with the positives. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. The area around the hotel is quiet—there are no major roads nearby—which made for a peaceful environment. The Wi-Fi was strong, and the LG television in the room looked new. As for the bed, the best I can say is that it wasn't uncomfortable.
I stayed in the smaller building next to the main hotel. Unfortunately, there is no elevator. The carpets in the hallways were extremely dirty, and a musty smell hit me the moment I opened the door—just as it did inside the room. The walls throughout the hotel and in my room were covered in scuff marks and grime. The room itself felt dingy. There was a persistent, unpleasant odor that I couldn’t quite place—maybe it was the drapes, the furniture, the walls, or all of the above. The floor didn’t seem very clean either.
The air conditioner was very loud, making it hard to relax. The coffee maker was old and hadn't been cleaned properly.
It’s a shame the property isn’t better maintained. With a bit more pride in upkeep—regular cleaning and a basic facelift—this place could be much more inviting. As it stands, I don’t feel the room was worth what I paid, and I won’t be returning.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff was wonderful and the room was very comfortable.
- Jeremy (8/5): - Easy friendly check in. Room was great, close to plenary of amenities
- Terry (10/5): - Good location
- Amanda (10/5): - I have stayed here multiple times and have been very happy with my experience. The rooms are nice and amenities were great as well. Location is right off the main strip of town. So it is close to most things. I will stay here the next time I am in town.
- Shawn (8/5): - A good clean hotel room. The front desk was responsive to our needs and fixed our issue with 15 minutes.
- Tomomi (8/5): - The staff welcome us friendly and nicely which was great. The pool was clean and nice, the kids had fun with it.
The breakfast wasn’t so good as nothing was healthy option, wish they had more tea selection at least.
- Matthew (6/5): - Good enough. No hand soap in the rooms, pool seemed cloudy, breakfast was good.
- Arthur (10/5): - Convenient
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfy stay - It was a very nice stay. Everything we needed was within walking distance..the hot tub n pool was the best. Breakfast was also an added plus to a nice stay. We will return
- Andrea (10/5): - Staff were friendly and accommodating
- Noelle (6/5): - Nice property, comfortable beds. Front desk staff was terse and unhelpful. Otherwise a nice place to stay.
- Mallory (9/5): Quiet and peaceful. Would stay again! - It was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. Located next to several food trucks and restaurants. The breakfast upset my stomach a little.
- Sandi (10/5): Over all we had a great stand - Nicely located We had problems making the hot tub work
- Maury (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annette (8/5): - Staff was helpful and friendly
- R9210RMsusanm (2/5): Absolutely disgusting - This was the dirtiest motel I have ever stayed in. It took 4 rooms to find one that was barely hygienic. The other rooms had food on the floor and counters, poop and pee in the toilets, beds were obviously used, sheets and towels with bodily fluids on them, microwaves and frigs that hadn’t been cleaned. Truly, absolutely disgusting. Our final room had two beds but one bed had dirty linens and looked as if someone had used it and then it was remade. The shower curtain was pink from mildew and had dirty hand stains on it. Then, you also have to worry about your car being broken into overnight. Don’t know what is going on there but Best Western needs to kick them out of the franchise.
- Viktoriya (10/5): - Great
- Viktoriya (10/5): - Great
- Viktoriya (10/5): - Great stay
- Viktoriya (10/5): - Great
- Darryl (10/5): - Staff was nice, hotel was clean, and it was easy to walk for food.
- Christina (8/5): - Front desk seriously was unpleasant.
I wanted to ask if they wanted to leave
- Christine (10/5): Walking Distance to Breweries and Restaurants - Great place to stay when passing through Prineville. It’s walking distance to breweries and good restaurants.
- Dreamer04515027957 (10/5): Great place to stay and feel at home! - Best front desk service, very accommodating and available. The room was clean and well supplied. They have a great breakfast menu, good variety of hot and cold itens and really good coffee! I will always stay here when visiting because of the friendly staff and accommodations.
- Chyann (6/5): - Horrible checking in experience!!
#405 Lounge chair was very dirty covered in what looked like food crumbs. Light switch's and all surfaces were either dusty and/or dirty. Also the ice machine was out of order.
- ken (10/5): - clean , older but clean and comfortable
- Hyatt (10/5): Exceptional - The front desk staff was amazing and friendly. I needed forks and she had a line of guests and kindly stepped away to get me some so I didn’t have to wait. The location is perfect for being close to dining and night life.
- Ariana (7/5): Good -
- Deanne (5/5): Passable -
- James (8/5): - Only problem is that the toilet is VERY low to the ground, which makes it hard for old folks like me!
- Wayne (10/5): - The pool and hot tub was excellent
- Shadoe (1/5): Bad -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reilly (10/5): - Always super easy check in, and the rooms are always clean.
- Marisa (8/5): - Our stay was good and the room was very nice overall. The one drawback was that we had a few dirty towels hung up as clean towels on our rack. There were clear stains on a couple of the towels.
- Bonnie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Franklin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Leann (8/5): Very good -
- Fidler (8/5): Very nice and we would stay again - Place was clean and well kept. Staff was friendly
- Daniel (10/5): - The room was great nice and clean , breakfast was great , we requested and got a ground floor room but didn’t know a wrestling tournament was going on so a lot of noise , but that’s to be expected, great hotel though !
- Frank (9/5): Superb -
- yohner541 (8/5): Quiet, convenient and clean - I’ve stayed in a lot of Best Westerns and figured out they can be very hit or miss. This particular Best Western is a hit! Very clean, updated rooms. I appreciate the wood flooring vs carpet, as carpet seems to hold funky smells in rooms. The room was very nicely sized. I had a king size bed with room for a nice couch. The blackout curtains were nice so I could sleep in. Very quiet hotel. Easy to sleep. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Lighting for makeup is so so, but that’s my only real “complaint”, probably more of a be aware.
Breakfast wasn’t a huge selection, pretty basic but decent food for an included with stay breakfast. Staff was on top of keeping the selection stocked. Very impressive since there were 2 basketball teams eating while I was. They are conveniently located near a few restaurants, a grocery store shopping center and a few coffee shops including Starbucks. I will definitely stay here again if I’m Prineville!
- Benjamin (8/5): - Hotel was clean and comfortable at a good price.
- Oriana (10/5): - The staff was very kind .
- Donald (8/5): - Great
- Brian (10/5): - great place to stay with good beer/food carts near by.
- Diana (10/5): Great hotel - Even though we were not in the main hotel we had a wonderful time. Guest were able to come swim in the pool and enjoy the hot tub. It was quite withan excellent breakfast. Highly recommend for comfort.
- Susan (10/5): - Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good towels.
- Karen (5/5): Not a good night. - Evening desk person was pleasant and friendly. Jetted bath tub was full of mold around jets. Very unsanitary! Did not feel comfortable bathing. I took photos with my phone and showed desk. They told me to speak with the manager in the morning. Manager reduced room cost by $50, to $105.
On sunday afternoon/evening, Loud male guests in room near mine, with their door open watching football game for several hours and no staff asked them to close door or quiet down.
- David (8/5): Very good -
