• Stefan (8/5): Sehr freundliches Team, schon früh Morgens besetzte Rezeption und zentrale Lage. - Die Teammitglieder waren sehr freundlich, das Zimmer war sauber und es war das Wichtigste für mich da. Die Rezeption war gut und auch früh Morgens besetzt, was bei frühem Check-Out hilft. Heizung ist nicht einzustellen und war viel zu warm. Es musste das Fenster auf sein, was in der Lage viel zu laut bis lange in die Nacht ist und dem Planeten auch nicht hilft. Ein Einzelbett wäre besser angemessen, da man mit Doppelbett nur schwer zum Fenster kommt.

Centrally located and within walking distance to all the old city and important places to see. The room was very clean and spacious. On thing missing was a closet for our clothes. There was a place with hangers for this purpose and it was OK for our one night stay. It can be a problem for longer stays. Another missing thing was slippers. In a good quality hotel I always look for slippers to avoid walking in the room barefoot. The staff were very friendly.

Schone, nette kamer met o.a. koffiezetapparaat en waterkoker. OV-pas inbegrepen bij de kamerprijs. Prima ontbijt, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Niets!

• Rachelle (10/5): It was a very good experience and would not mind booking my stay here should I visit again! - I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff is very sweet and friendly and was always ready to help with any queries I had. The hotel is well-kept and clean – this also applies to my room. I could not hear any noise from outside which was a great plus. Both the bed and the armchair were really comfortable. There were various things available in my room, such as an electric kettle, coffee machine and a small selection of teas, coffee etc. There were also some glasses and a jar on the desk which I could refill with water from the machine available in the eating area – I really liked this and it was so convenient. The eating/library area has a very nice atmosphere and it was great to relax in. I liked that I was free to go there and prepare a drink whenever I felt like it. Breakfast is not included in the price through Booking.com but I was able to pay for it when I checked in. The food selection is good and caters to a variety of tastes. Thank you for your hospitality and I would absolutely recommend 😊 Nothing! It was a good experience

• Nick (6/5): - Top locatie midden in het centrum en dichtbij het station. Schone kamer. Boeking was niet goed gegaan en inchecken bij de eerste medewerker ging niet goed. Ik had voor twee personen geboekt, maar kreeg een eenpersoonskamer (met 1 kussen, 1 handdoek, 1 nachtkastje, 1 kopje etc. ). Omdat het hotel was volgeboekt heeft een een andere medewerker (die overigens wel heel professioneel en aardig was) snel kunnen regelen dat er een extra kussen en handdoek bij kwam.

• Chantal (7/5): Das Hotel Bären ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen. - Die Lage ist top. Quasi direkt vor dem Bundeshaus im Herzen von Bern. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, leider nur mit Dachfenster. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage also auch im Sommer bestimmt gut bewohnbar.

Having free laundry on site was a definite plus! I would definitely come back again if in Bern. There’s nothing I didn’t like.

• BlauerDrache (8/5): Zentral gelegenes, nettes Hotel für Kurzaufenthalt - Zentral gelegen, nur wenige Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Nettes, kleines Zimmer mit allem, was es braucht. Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig, auch wenn mir noch ein paar Körner zum Müesli gefehlt haben. Es war nachts und morgens sehr ruhig, was wohl aber dem Feiertag geschuldet war, denn normalerweise finden über die Gasse wohl Anlieferungen statt. Dafür hat das Hotel aber Ohropax zur Verfügung gestellt ;-) Heizung im Bad dürfte mal entstaubt werden; im Zimmer hatte es einen kleinen, seltsamen Absatz zwischen Flur und Schlafbereich, über den ich ein paar Mal gestolpert bin... Tempur(?)-Matratzen, die selbst mir zu hart waren; das Rührei beim Frühstück kam wohl aus der Tüte; die unvermeidliche Musik im Frühstücksraum war mir zu laut - ich hätte morgens gern meine Ruhe ;-)
