dem711 (10/5): Highly recommend - Nicest people, cleanest motel. The cleanliness is what first impressed me from the time we walked into the office and then into the room. Home cooked breakfast. Lady said 'I have bacon, sausage, eggs and can fix anyway you like including omelets. Several different breads for toast. And a fresh cup of decaf coffee. All the employees and owner were friendly, efficient and nice to deal with. My husband and I stayed one night but would sure stay there again. Highly recommend.

Also the person at the front desk was so kind. She even gave me a book that she had written. The only negative thing is that they only have one handicap room which was occupied. I will most definitely recommend this hotel. I will be staying again if I need to. Thank you staff! May God bless you all.

Stephanie (10/5): - Stayed at the hotel in Jackson because of my husband family reuion in a city about 20 minutes away. The hotel was clean and had plenty of parking. The hotel staff was both pleasant and very helpful and informative. The rooms are located "outside" but the building was very well lighted. It was quiet. They had real breakfast, a very sweet lady that actually cooked your food to order. The room was clean and had a fresh smell. My only compliant about the room is the air conditioning unit is not in the same area as the bed, if you're hot natured, you will understand. The other issue i had was having to constantly ask for towels. We didn't have a problem getting them when we asked, we just felt like we shouldn't have had to. Our family consisted of 2 adults and we had 2 face towels and two drying towels. We stayed from Friday to Sunday. We had to ask for towels the whole time. Other than the two things mentioned, the stay was great and we would definitely stay again. 🙂🙂 Great job Best Western

The hotel is more like a motel, but I was very impressed the moment when I opened the door by how clean and updated the room was.

I have used some of the higher end hotel brands and have not received such professional, personal service as I did in my stays at this hotel!! This Best Western is the BEST hotel experience I have ever enjoyed!!! The staff are very friendly and professional!! The hand-cooked breakfast provided by Miss Donna was the gold leave on the icing on the cake!!!

The hotel is being renovated and the renovated room I had was outstanding! It was quiet and very clean. Donna in the breakfast area was super nice! She made us an omelette and it was outstanding! It was so good that I was talking about it later that day. If you’re in Jackson and need a place to stay, go to the BW!

JustHollie (10/5): Highly recommended - This is by far the nicest motel I’ve ever stayed in. I never stay in motels with outside doors bc as a woman I feel unsafe but at the Best Western here in Jackson, Al it has definitely met all expectations of what a motel should be. The staff is so amazing. They treat you as if you are family and not just someone staying at the motel. Housekeeping is on point. The lady who was my housekeeper was so friendly and always made sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast lady cooked for me on the spot so the food was always hot when it was served. The first morning I was there I didn’t know that the breakfast lady was off on Mondays and walked down to the breakfast room and when I noticed she was off I just grabbed a coffee and banana and went back to my room. When I got back to my room my phone rang and it was the front desk asking if I wanted a breakfast sandwich. After I said yes she said she would call me when it was ready. She called and I walked to the front desk and they literally ordered me breakfast from the local restaurant in town. SO SWEET! The owner, he is on his stuff!!! I can not say enough about how attentive he is. He is an amazing, hands on owner who is here every day making sure everything is up to par. The owner is doing remodeling. Although I think it’s really nice already, he wants it to be the best. The rooms even smell good. When you walk in there’s an office area and on the opposite side it’s a kitchen area. There is a wall between the office and the bedroom so you can’t see the bed when you open the door. Loved that! The bathroom was also very clean and the vanity was so large I had room to put all of our personal belongings with no problem. Another thing that melted my heart was the way they treated my dog. They were so sweet to her. At breakfast the owner walked in and walked back out. When I got to the sidewalk he popped his head out and said I thought I had a dog treat for your puppy but I’m sorry I don’t. It was totally the thought that was so sweet. As you can see I could go on and on about this establishment but honestly you should come for a visit and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed 😊 thank y’all for making me feel so welcomed. I honestly can’t say anything negative about this Best Western.

They made sure we had a room when everything else in town was booked. They treated us like family anything we needed they accommodated. We got in an accident and totaled our vehicle and they did everything in their power to help us. By far the best staff I have dealt with. Clean and neat as a pin. Friendly helpful staff. I’m relieved to find a safe friendly home away from home in this area to stay when I’m working there. Super bonus… the fridge has an actual freezer space for ice packs. I’ll be recommending the Jackson BW to my colleagues when working in the area. Strongly! Thanks for a great stay!

I left feeling really woozy. Like bad allergies. Cleared up a few days later. Could be mold or sceptic gas. Could be allergens in that part of the country. On main road. Noisy without ac going.

cfeeney001 (8/5): Mostly clean - This hotel/Motel had some issues. The bed sheets and towels seemed to be very clean which is the positive. The wallpaper was peeling everywhere and at one point I sat in a chair and my hair got caught in the wallpaper which was curled up off of the wall. When showering on my last day I noticed a roach peeking out from the corner of the room where the wallpaper was peeled and hanging off of the wall. It kept going in and out as if it was playing peek a boo. The wallpaper next to the toilet was held on with a thumbtack... an honest to God thumbtack! The toilet was placed very very close to the wall and also installed crooked so that the only way that an adult could use the toilet and have proper hygiene is to sit on it sideways. The TV went out in one room and the front desk's solution was to "mash on the buttons". We mashed for quite a while and after an hour and several calls they sent someone to move the dresser and unplug the tv and fix it. Also asked for a do not disturb sign for the door and they didn't seem to know where they were and said that they would put one in the door. They never did. The staff was friendly enough. The building just needs a LOT of work to be comfortable.

My daughter has asthma so I was very upset. The only thing that I liked was they allowed my pet there with no pet fee.
