• Shane (8/5): I love Ypres, never had a bad stay. I’ve used Flanders Lidge on numerous occasions and it never disappoints - I like the design and the rooms are a good size, with all you really need. The car park would benefit from being resurfaced and having the lighting improved. Also the lack of footpath into town is a disappointment

• Nadene (10/5): We had a wonderful stay at Flanders Lodge. The rooms are amazing - set out like you’re staying in an actual bunker. It’s - Great location to travel to tourist locations. Rooms are very comfortable, and relatively quiet. Staff are friendly and welcoming. There was a good variety of choices for breakfast to suit most dietary needs / requirements. We loved the fact there was a small fridge in the room to keep our road drinks and alternate milk cool.

• MARK (5/5): Okay, but unlikely to use again. - Location was okay for getting into the centre of Ypres and breakfast was decent. The room was too basic, no window, just a velux opening. For this price I would have expected more in-room supplies (stayed in a small hotel on outskirts of Ghent with more complimentary items for less money).

Was erg leuk om een praatje mee te maken, en beantwoorde onze vragen over de omgeving, Top. Het ontbijt was goed dat wil zeggen keuze genoeg. Onze kamers waren mooi ruim opgezet en netjes. We konden onze spullen goed weg zetten. Werd elke dag schoon gemaakt . Ook het restaurant was goed. De Belgische sfeer hebben we erg van genoten.

Eten in restaurant echt de prijs niet waardig. volauvent met uitgerafelde kip en doorbakken diepvries frieten. Gelukkig maar voor één nacht. Ontbijt was redelijk. Maar overvolle kantineachtige zaal. 10 minuten aanschuiven aan de koffiemachine. Eerlijkheid gebied mij wel dat alles aanwezig was aan het ontbijt.
