- jocelyn (5/5): Response of restaurant staff to my request for vegan option particularly nasty. - Reception staff very helpful when I had difficulty locating the facility. And again in the morning in relation to storing my bags prior to onward travel. Size of room (could barely fit a single bed), Apart from fruit and grain there was an option for all residents to request how they would like to have their hot breakfast prepared - all containing eggs. When I asked if there was any hot Vegan options I was spoken to very rudely by staff member who advised 'yes, I could have cooked vegetables' to which I agreed. I received approximately two tablespoons of mixed vegetables in middle of plate surrounded by oil.,

- Trevor (9/5): A lovely experience - Hotel within easy walking distance of the train station. Room was a good size, clean and complimentary mini bar. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast room was very nice with a good choice of bread, pastries,fruit, cheese, meat and freshly prepared eggs. Handy location on the edge of the old town and near the Universities so lively area too. Zurich is a lovely but expensive City, expect to pay twice UK prices for everything except perhaps public transport, but then enjoy yourself

The room was a good size, the bathrooms were modern, the location was good for exploring old town. The breakfast service was excellant, lots of choices. All thestaff from the front desk, breakfast room and the cleaning staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were an earlier departure, 6:15, breakfast service wasn't avaiable this early, the shuttle service was also not avaiable until later, 7:20. Carpets are in need of replaceing, several areas thread bare and ripped.

A posição na cidade de Alstadt é ótima, perto da estação de trens, do centro da cidade, de muitos bares e restaurantes e também de pontos turísticos. Fan was provided as there is no AC in rooms. Lovely locations and everything is in walking distance. Lack of AC and not much variety in breakfast. Everything was great . - Egbrecht (8/5): Sehr gutes Hotel um Zürich zu erkunden, ohne unnötig weite Wege zu haben. Sehr guter Service. - Lage war sehr zentrumsnahe, auch zum Hauptbahnhof waren es weniger als 10 Gehminuten. Service insgesamt und auch beim Frühstück sehr gut, Sonderwünsche wurden sehr gerne erfüllt. Für das Kunsthaus gibt es kostenlose Eintrittskarten vom Hotel. Zimmerbeleuchtung war am Abend etwas dunkel. Klimaanlage könnte möglicherweise bei sehr warmen Wetter fehlen. Ventilator ist vorhanden.

Petit déjeuner bien fourni et copieux. Le bruit dans la rue, pas possible de dormir avec les fenêtres ouvertes. Il y a 2 ventilateurs dans la chambre mais une climatisation serait bienvenue. - Joanne (9/5): Amazing spot to stay in Zurich - Fantastic location and wonderful staff - they couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied and they had lots of fresh options including cooked options. All the rooms were very clean. In reception, they provided complimentary fresh fruit and pastries during the day. I was allocated room 107 initially which was a small single room positioned on the right of the building where a lot of sun comes in. There is no AC and while they do provide fans, it was extremely hot to the point I couldn’t sleep. That corner of the street is also busy at night with people moving around/ talking so it was quite loud too. I asked to move rooms the next day and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating of this and didn’t make me feel bad for asking - they immediately sorted a new room in a different position in the building which was much cooler and easier to sleep in.

But also almost everything is expensive in switzerland, or in zurich. Its a comfortable stay in general! And i would still recommend it and go back next time.

- Robin (10/5): Great find in Old Town Zurich - Friendly staff, very clean well appointed room. They restock the refrigerator each day with 2 beers, a very nice touch. Location was right in the middle of Old Town, an easy walk to train station and sites. They are near a church that rings it's bells so be aware. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

- Besant (10/5): Excellent hotel that I would happily stay in again. - Great location and front counter staffing were excellent. I loved that the mini bar is included in the stay. Unavoidable road works outside but it not a deal breaker and won’t be forever.
- Lance (8/5): Convenient for station and good value - Location close to the station and old town. They dont do lunch anymore. It used to be great and very reasonable. Closed since Covid.
- Yana (10/5): Recommend to stay! - The room was spacious. There was a mini-bar with complimentary drinks. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfasts. Fruit, pastries and a coffee machine were available at reception around the clock. A wonderful hotel. Location: a 3-minute walk to the railway station and 5 minutes to the city centre. I definitely recommend it.
- Manuela (8/5): Très bon séjour - Emplacemenbt tout prés du centre. Hôtel tranquille. Pétit déjeuner très correcte J'étais dans une chambre simple et je l'ai trouvé très petite et pas tres bien équipé.
- Arthur (7/5): - Location HATED sliding glass doors on bathroom - ridiculous to be able to see through to bathroom. Would NOT stay here because of those doors - really stupid design move. Lost my business because of it.
