And everything else was clean, nice, a fair deal! đ I like most everything. Highly recommend this for a brooking stay. By the way. Brookings is a pretty nice town.

Something for everyone The windows are older and have water moisture between the glass changing the clarity of the ocean front view. But there is a balcony.

- Navigator14263374362 (6/5): Dated and unclean - I left this review on Google Map and I am pasting it here: the front desk staff are friendly but the room is not good. Most importantly, the WiFi signal is very weak and our phones could not conn to the Internet. The balcony door and screen is dirty, the floor screeches, and the fan included in the room is filled with dust. I paid over two hundred dollars and I donât think this is as branded as the website describes and therefore I do not recommend staying here.

The team were very helpful and welcoming letting us check in early and giving us some ideas on what to do. The room was nice, a little noisy ( could hear others walking around etc) but the views were just amazing and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore made for a great nights sleep. The pool area and spa were nice sadly not in the sun in the afternoon so plan Your time. Acres to the beach is easy and itâs. A quick walk along to the river. Access to town require a drive

- T1415XPjulieh (6/5): Elevator Access not Available for all Rooms - Let me first say that this is a lovely inn with great ocean views and a tasty complimentary breakfast. When I was researching where to book in Brookings, I was specifically looking for lodging with an elevator. I was traveling with my elderly father who cannot climb stairs, so this was of the utmost importance. I was informed at check-in that the room I had reserved was not accessible by elevator. What? Fortunately, the clerk found a different room for us, BUT it was almost $100 more than my original reservation so that was very disappointing. Just be sure if anyone in your party has mobility issues that you make sure the room you are booking has elevator access.

We loved that it was dog-friendly and appreciated the included breakfast. Everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. Weâll definitely be back for our next family trip.

- GEKlinck (2/5): Beautiful Location, Bad Management. - Went for another birthday stay and the location is excellent, it is literally right on the beach, but the owners are allowing the hotel to fall into disrepair. The room was dirty, I could literally draw in the dust on the bedside table. The duvet was stained and it looked like they forgot to vacuum the floor. We called the front desk and was relocated to a different room. It was better, but not by much. We have stayed here several times over the years, but we won't be back. The prices have gone insane and the place is falling apart.

Could splurge a little on bedding and bring it up a few notches. Dogs are allowed and dogs were constantly barking and not being dealt with. Extrmeely disruptive for people who didn't have animals.
- Egor (7/5): - I could hear and see the ocean waves. The stuff was friendly and happy to help. The room was spacious. They served complimentary hot breakfast, which was great. This is a motel, donât expect anything fancy. The shampoo and shower wash in the bathroom were in fancy bottles, but cheap quality. The balcony was tiny and uneven. I was looking to swim in the pool, but it was nowhere near âheatedâ. Just cold outside pool. There was also a hot tub, which was tepid - the temperature I expected the pool to be. If you book an ocean view room be aware, that it is actually the building that is NOT ocean front. You will still get the view, but at an angle.
- teresabF6698XX (10/5): Worth the expense. - Building location is fantastic. It has great views & proximity to the harbor restaurants & shops. It is a very busy stretch of beach. If you are looking for a more secluded, private experience, this is not it. With the RV park, jetty & day use area so close, there's tons of people with barking dogs & screaming kids. Room had all the basics, fridge, micro, coffee maker, etc. Shower was amazing. Third floor was pretty good for balcony noise, however, being straight across from the elevator meant you could hear luggage carts & talking right outside the door. Staff were super friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of options to start your day.

It was a very short walk to the beach and ocean and that was nice. The hotel was in a good location both in town and from the stateline and from further up the coast. The spa was not working and it could have been nice if it did but it worked out nonetheless. The spa was not working but I was not told that when I booked the room. NBD.

We needed a room that was accessible by elevator and we were upgraded to a nicer room at no extra cost. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable and the view was wonderful. Breakfast consisted of a variety of selections, and the dining room was well attended by employees.

- Griffin (1/5): Very disappointingâŚ. - Location Booked 4 days.After two days of no room service called the desk and ask what the room service situation was and I was told we had to ask for it. I requested service still never had service for the full four days. Had to go collect towels and coffee at the front desk as well as toiletry items each day if we wanted them. Was advised no staff to bring them available. A male staff member used key and walked in on us the morning of our fourth stay prior to 0900 without waiting for us to open door. Said he thought we were gone but didnât knock or wait.

Beautiful hotel. - we can see that thereâs been deferred maintenance on the exterior of this building and it makes an impact of knowing that thereâs not a lot of extra Care being given to such a beautiful hotel. The Plumbing has issues the sink drain was not draining at all and the shower drain has a major back up while we used the shower! Completely disgusting with cups of hair coming back up! and they just gave us a new room but act like itâs not really an issue??? Pros the breakfast is great And the view is amazing. It really is such a lovely place. Weâve been going for 30 years, but itâs definitely in need of attention and not excuses.

The ONLY downfall is that there are no elevators so if you want the âbest ocean viewâ, just remember that! No elevator.

Hot breakfast and varied offerings. Restaurants nearby. Balcony was tiny - barely room for two chairs. Railing obstructed view from window if you were sitting down. Could have used more comfortable seating in the room. Desk, but no table for dining or games.
- Sherri (10/5): It was a little pricey but comfortable, clean and coo - Location, room was wonderful - loved hearing the ocean all night and the balcony!! Clean and up dated. Ice only on one floor, no elevator to the 3rd floor, breakfast needs a little help.

- Fred (10/5): My room, was very confortable and very clean. In addition, the view was terrific. Coming back! - The view and location was fantastic Unfortunatly, I had to pay extra to upgrade for a room accessible via elevator since I am disable and disable parking was limited.
