• Toby (10/5): - Had a bit of a hard time getting on the right road to access the hotel. Once there the room and staff were great. In fact in the morning there were 2 buses of people who overwhelmed the breakfast area, literally taking all the food as soon as it came out, leaving nothing for other guests who were not willing to be so pushy. The poor cook and staff were in tears but did an excellent job holding it together. They tried to accommodate those of us not with the foreign travelers on the busses. It was the craziest behavior of people at a breakfast buffet we have ever seen. The staff was excellent in such a weird frenzy.
• Hodan (6/5): - Did not have slippers, kettle, or iron accessible in unit. Double room booked with twin beds however found out that the twin beds were attached so not quite "twin" beds. Expected them to be separated. Average hotel with average continental breakfast
• Basima (10/5): - My family and I stayed here for a few nights and we really loved it! It is more of a remote location so plan to walk to certain stations for transportation (~15 min) but they have everything necessary nearby (gas station, bistro/deli, small resturant, fast food, etc.) The room was small but cozy and comfortable and the staff were kind and helpful! The breakfast is fantastic and free every day from select hours and all around us are gorgeous nature views and paths! The bathroom wasn't bad but be careful of water spilling out of the tub - really that's are main compliant but others we had a lovely time, thanks to the staff at Hotel Grauholz!

• TRACY (10/5): - Hotel was busy, but most staff were friendly, room had plenty of room along with bathroom. A good alternative to bigger city accommodation.
• Verified traveler (6/5): No AC - The hotel is modern and in a convenient location. However, it does not have true air conditioning as advertised. AC units are present in the rooms, but they do not actually cool. They are merely fans for ventilation. When I asked about this at the front desk, the clerk says they are not like "American air conditioners". Fortunately the temperatures were only in the 70s during the day. But the room was still a little uncomfortable at night.

• Lauren (2/5): - Booked 2 rooms for 4 adults and 4 kids. Both rooms only had beds for 3 people. When we asked about it, staff advised that the extra bed was broken. One of our kids had to sleep on the floor and one had to use the bench as a bed. Hotel was understaffed (only one staff) and AC was broken in one room.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Okay stay - The air conditioner do not work and hotel staff acknowledged it too and don’t know when it will be repaired which is why i have a low rating on comfort. They could have at least provide a fan and it was not offered.
• Paul (6/5): Clean but very hot rooms in summer - This hotel would be fine in cooler temperatures but it was so hot in our rooms that it was very difficult to sleep at all. There are air conditioning units in the rooms but they did not cool things down much at all. You can open windows at night but this hotel is right off the freeway so it's got a lot of road noise. It was a high price too for the lack of sleep we had. The front desk staff were really nice, there were drinks available all the time which was great, and the hotel rooms we were in were clean.

• Andreas (10/5): Kommen gerne wieder - Es ist ein sehr schönes gut ausgestattetes Hotel und immer gut geeignet für eine Zwischenübernachtung unterwegs. Auch wenn es direkt an der Autibahn gelegen ist, so höhrt man doch keinen Lärm durch die gut isolierten Fenster.

• Martin (10/5): Sehr gut, empfehlenswert! - Sehr freundlicher Empfang trotz später Ankunft! Alles war vorbereitet, ich war innert 2 Minuten im Zimmer. Sauber und schlicht, zudem trotz an der Autobahn sehr ruhig, Verkehr war nicht hörbar. Sehr schönes Frühstücksbuffet, gepflegt von einer Dame welche immer grad wieder aufräumte wenn etwas runter fiel. Freundliche Verabschiedung, super easy. Für so wenig Geld 10 Minuten von Bern entfernt eine gute Übernachtungsgelegenheit hatte ich nicht erwartet.

• Robert (2/5): Be aware. - This place cannot be accessed from anywhere but a gas station truck stop back road. No GPS address and at least they admit it’s a travelers nightmare. This place is nice but it’s a very strange location in a truck stop with a hundred sketchy people hanging around and drinking in the parking lot after midnight. Would not recommend

Vi nåede ikke rigtigt noget morgenmad da et hold gæster var over det som gribbe og der var ingen siddepladser inde i spiseområdet, som i øvrigt er alt andet end hyggeligt. Kører gerne 200 km mere næste gang så jeg slipper for det igen

• Kenton (8/5): Very good value for money - Enjoyed our 3-night stay in many ways. The hotel is nicer than the service area that you must drive through to get to the hotel would suggest. The room was quiet, large and clean. The staff were very friendly and very kind. The breakfast buffet was lovely. I didn't even realize until the last morning that there was bacon too! We paid for the included dinner, which is actually just a buffet spread at the nearby truck stop. But, the food was good, the staff there was very pleasant and helpful, and the beer and wine were reasonably priced. There is a walking trail behind that hotel that leads away from the hotel into a lovely forested area. The only downside to this hotel is that it is impossible to get to the nearby grocery store, local train station or other places as all of the small roads that lead away from the hotel have locked gates across them. To get anywhere requires driving on the freeway for quite a while, even though the grocery store is less than a mile away. If just passing through the area for a night or two, this place is very nice and highly adequate for good rest and a good hearty breakfast before continuing your journey.
• Michael (10/5): - Much better than expected. This hotel at the motorway is great. It is very clean; the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast was very nice as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this place if you are traveling through Switzerland. The price is much cheaper in comparison to hotels in Bern and you are right next to the motorway for an early start, and you can avoid the traffic in town.

• Iryna (8/5): - very basic hotel but clean and comfortable. Located right off the highway, 12-15 min to downtown of Bern. Parking was additional 6 or 8 dollars and they have a complementary electric car charger on site. The room was quite small for four people. Nothing is in the room besides the beds and a TV. A microwave and a coffee machine in the lobby with complementary beverages the day of the arrival, but you can not have coffee in the morning if you didn’t buy breakfast from them (and there is no coffee maker in the room).

• Christal (6/5): - We paid for a family room, suitable for four adults. We assumed two Queen beds. What we got was a small couch for one adult, suitable for a child and a roll away bed for another. They were all rock hard, including the actual beds so all four adults got little to no sleep. The blow dryer in the room overheated and wouldn’t work after 30 seconds and a used coffee cup was left in the room from previous customers. It’s a cool location and was quite quiet for being next to the highway but we paid near my y. $300 Canadian dollars for a terrible sleep.

• YEONGJUN (8/5): - 고속도로 휴게소에 위치한 호텔이라 운전자들을 위한것 같지만 일반 손님에게도 적합합니다. 시내에서 다소 거리가 있으므로 대중교통을 이용하실 분들에게는 추천하기 어렵습니다. 차가 있는 분들께는 괜찮은 선택이라고 생각합니다.

• John (6/5): Great for an overnight stay - The Hotel is ok I stayed 5 nights and it probably isn't meant for a 5 night stay as it is located at a motorway service area and only accessible from the motorway it is probably more an overnight hotel on the way to somewhere. I used it as a base for exploring the region and chose it because of the price and the free parking. The room was ok if a little spartan but had some faults, the TV was faulty. It was unplugged when I got there and plugging it in required getting under the desk which is where the only sockets were located and this was a disabled room. The problem was that it would get stuck on a station at random and you couldn't change stations, the volume or turn it off you had to physically unplug it which required getting on your hands and knees and going under the desk. In the end I got an extension lead from the front desk so I didn't have to go under the desk every time it got stuck. Another issue was on two nights out of the four when I got back to the room it hadn't been serviced but they did give me fresh towels when I asked. There was one lovely lady on duty most nights who was very helpful. A nice touch the hotel does is that any leftover muffins, cakes etc from breakfast are left for guests to help themselves during the day. The beds I thought were very narrow, I had a double room which was two singles pushed together but as I was travelling solo only one was made up. The room was a decent size.

• Tae (10/5): - This was a great hidden hotel even if it is right off of the highway resting area. This hotel is in a great location if you want to visit Bern or Zurich area. Also it is really separate from highway resting area and somehow very walkable even for your dogs. Their coffee and drink service with cakes available throughout the stay and included breakfast was great to start our day. For the price, this was unexpectedly nice and we will be coming back.

• Callum (10/5): Very clean and comfortable stay - A really good hotel, the room was spotless and they had already put a cot in the room so it was easy to get everyone to bed quickly after a late arrival. Easy access right on the motorway and the room had a nice view of the mountains. Simple but sufficient and well priced breakfast. I would stay again.

• Jean-Marc (8/5): Parfait pour une halte sans restauration. - Accès uniquement par Autoroute. Pas de restauration à l'hôtel. Un self de chaque côté de l'autoroute, dont un fermé lors de notre séjour. Une petite épicerie dans la station de carburants. Petit déjeuner de viennoiseries, sinon supplément pour buffet charcuterie restreint. Pas de bruit extérieur entendu dans la chambre dans notre cas malgré la proximité de l'autoroute. Chambre spacieuse et propre.

• Daniel (8/5): - Zweckmässige Uebernachtung, Preis Leistung sehr gut, einziger negativer Punkt - Autobahn war trotz geschlossenen Fenster stark hörbar. Da wir aber alle sehr müde waren hat uns dies nicht sonderlich gestört. Sehr Positiv - Kaffee, Tee und Mineral ist bis 00:00 gratis dabei und kann neben der Rezeption selbst bezogen werden.

• Ioan (4/5): Poor breakfast - Room was cold and radiator just little warmish. Breakfast was extremely poor, just some yoghurt and cereals. Internet is good, but is not working after 24h and need to reconnect, but you are not notified that is not working.Personal is kindly. Parking is large but without cameras and in rear side there is a gate that is opened so anybody may enter in the parking without beeing seen by any cameras and that is not safe for the cars. Bed was unconfortable. There are 2 bottles one natural and one mineral of 0.5L in room
• Mike (10/5): Unexpected bonus of a place - This hotel was excellent. They provided on-site laundry services. Washing machine and dryer including soap available for guest use without charge. Breakfast was amazing for €21, children ate for free.

I already had a reservation and needed a room for a subsequent day (on short notice) and even though they we're fully booked in advance, they tried everything possible and arranged it for me so I could prolong may stay. And it worked out fine, thank you again! Rooms are simple yet spacious. There's free coffee, fruits and fresh cake in the lobby :-) Wonderful surroundings to take a walk or go for a jog.
