- Erin (10/5): Great for our family - Our room was very clean, staff polite and helpful, and our bathroom was open, spacious, and very clean. The breakfast was very good and had many options. We enjoyed the omelette bar. The pool was clean and the kids had fun swimming. The hot tub was small but very enjoyable. Our balcony was ground level so we had no river view.

- mahtomedigirl (6/5): Basic accommodations on the coast - We spent two nights at the Best Western Pier Point Inn during our OR/CA vacation. While somewhat dated, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the view of the river from the third floor. The made to order omelets were a nice touch, but the rest of the breakfast was underwhelming. We really enjoyed the convenient location to Old Town and its wonderful river walk restaurants. In summary, it provided basic accommodations for two nights, but could use some TLC.

Also that the breakfast was delicious and more than they expected. They said the toilet felt like it was made for a child, so low to the ground.

It needs to be bigger to accommodate guests properly. The flooring in the room was not put together correctly. There was a lot of cracks in between the boards which doesn't feel good on your feet when you step on it.

We didn't anticipate so many steps; the hot tub was tucked away without any view except the people coming and going to the pool; the parking spaces are very narrow and the lot was full; we didn't anticipate the age of the hotel - the family in the next room was loud with kids bouncing around and slamming the doors. It was very loud. The walls are thin or at least not insulated in some way to soften loud voices and banging around.

Bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was good. The only negatives on the room were the toilet was very slow to flush and the bathroom sink drained very slowly. We had to take the stairs to get to our room as there was no elevator, but that was not a problem for us. Staff at the front desk were very professional and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. They had made to order omelettes, waffle makers, and the other standard fare for a complimentary breakfast. The omelettes were well prepared, fluffy, and delicious. It was one of the best complimentary breakfast I have had. I would definitely stay here again when I am visiting Florence, OR.

- Brittney (10/5): One of the few places offering a pool, hot tub, and breakfast without outrageous fees. - Breakfast was phenomenal, and the view from the dining area was wonderful. The staff were helpful and kind, and we were even given a cookie for each guest at check-in. We stayed in December, and the lobby was beautifully decorated with a Christmas tree and festive decor, it was very charming. The view from the breakfast area was so great I wish we had that from our balcony.

We had the pool, hot tub, and sauna to ourselves most of the time. Great view of the river from the pool. The room balcony was nice, although the view was limited by trees. Our room had a noticeable slant in it towards the balcony. My bad was very lumpy and uneven, with a very noticeable firm strip down the middle. The hotel overall was well maintained but definitely showing signs of aging. The parking lot is tight. I didn't have issues with my 1/2 ton truck but bigger rigs might need 2 spaces to park.

The floor to that view was warped to the point it was like walking in a fun house and the floor creeked so badly that my wife and I avoided walking around. Our rooms were clean, modern, cozy, and perfect after a long drive on our road trip. The breakfast was another highlight and the view overlooking the river was chef's kiss! Thank you for a great experience. We will be back!

It was a bit dirty and run down. The pool’s water looked clean but the bottom of the pool looked like it needed to be cleaned so we didn’t go in. No air conditioning but we just left our sliding door to the balcony open and that worked great.

- moodblu (10/5): Great Place to stay - We stayed two nights at the Best Western Pierpoint Inn, Florence Oregon on our recent CA & OR coastal tour. It was overlooking the Siuslaw River. The restaurants, fast food places, and shopping were on the north side of the river. The hotel was nice and the employees were friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean and in good repair. It was also quite roomy, with a couch, coffee table and desk, and a nice balcony overlooking the river, bridge and city. The complementary breakfast was adequate, but did include made-to-order omelets if you so chose. I was disappointed that they did not have yogurt, half and half, or whole milk to put with my granola cereal—having only 2% milk & skim milk—with no explanation why not. Otherwise, our stay there was quite nice. The location was also convenient for our tour's activities, at the Sandland Adventures, Sea Lion Caves, and the Heceta Head Lighthouse. If you are unable to do stairs, let them know so they can situate you in a ground floor room, as there are stairs and no elevators. There were personnel available to assist with luggage if needed.

Dinner at Restobar restaurant (Italian Food) was the best of the best. Siuslaw river was enchanting, see the architectural design of the Siuslaw bridge. Take photos by the beautiful waterfront

Handicap ramps not terribly convenient for walker user. Unable to checkout pool or other amenities. Ice machine too far away for handicapped person using 230. Walk-in shower goes all over floor when used. Housekeeper brought extra shower mats and let me know, but you can’t use them until roomis flooded. You can’t open or close door with one on the floor to contain water spread.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - room was nice. bed a bit hard. Breakfast was good...omelet when there was a cook there. I need to use the pool which is nice although a tad cool. Unfortunately it is a bit secluded and so I did not feel comfortable being there alone. i asked my husband to accompany me...glad I did as numerous male employees came in to use the bathroom would not have felt comfortable alone.
- Marianne (2/5): - If you expect a view from your balcony go elsewhere. Felt closed in with all the trees and bushes blocking the entire view of the bay. Mattresses are to soft woke up each morning with back pain.
