Esmarie (10/5): Perfection - We had a fantastic time and stay at the Vredenburg Manor House. We were able to check in early and we were welcomed by the friendly staff. The venue is kept in immaculate condition and you still get the effect of an old manor house. The rooms are spacious, modern and beautiful and very comfortable. Everything exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was also very good and the service excellent and all the staff are very friendly and helpful! We had a delightful stay, thank you Leon and team!

CLEMENS (10/5): Perfekte Location für die vielen wunderbaren Weingüter, die in unmittelbarer Nähe liegen. - Eine wundervolle kap-holländische Unterkunft! Alter englischer Charme in den Gemeinschaftsräumen und der Halle des Haupthauses, top-moderne Chalets mit modernstem Komfort und Technik im Außenbereich. Die älteren Chalets werden in diesem Winter umgebaut und ebenfalls auf den neusten Stand gebracht. Ein wunderschöner Garten, gepflegter Pool-Anlage und eine Self-Service Bar, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Sehr nette Gastgeber, die wir wiederholt zu schätzen gelernt haben.

Rick (10/5): Waanzige plek net buiten Kaapstad waar je echt even kan relaxen. - De rust en de netheid van zowel het hoofdgebouw als onze kamer, die nog geen jaar oud zijn, waren uitstekend. Wij verbleven hier één dag in verband met onze vlucht en konden ’s avonds vrij gemakkelijk vanaf deze accommodatie naar het vliegveld reizen. De volgende keer blijven we hier zeker twee tot drie dagen om helemaal tot rust te komen. Vlakbij bevinden zich ook uitstekende restaurants waar je heerlijk kunt lunchen of dineren.

Toni (10/5): A Place where History meets Modern Luxury. - It was so wonderful to experience the sense of history of this old Manor House - from the thick walls to the amazing wooden framed doors and windows to the beautiful silver and antique furniture - and yet we were able to enjoy the modern luxuries of a nice comfortable bathroom with separate shower and tub and double vanity. Lots of hanging and packing space in the closet. A beautiful sturdy antique bench was handy to place our luggage. Our room had a door to the patio that overlooked the swimming pool and a table was set for us every morning where we could enjoy a private breakfast that was served. Room freshener aroma oils - I had to take it outside - it was too strong.

Wayne (10/5): Absolute Luxurious Suites in a stunning setting - Nestled perfectly between Stellenbosch and Somerset West off the R44 this stylish Cape Dutch Manor house. A large well maintained outdoor pool with plenty of Luxury loungers with SUPER thick cusioned toppers and pool towels readily available. The outside terrace of the Manor House is where breakfast is served and ALL made fresh to order. The amazing team at Vredenberg Manor are a credit to Luke and Leon who manage this property that they clearly have a passion in. The highlight was the new Modern Garden suites that truly are 5 star in their fitments and styling , from a huge bath to a seperate walk in shower and totally high end in its functionality and ease of use!! The big and beautiful rooms can be got for approx £135 ( 3000rand ) which is ridiculously good value. truly nothing could be any better!!

The manor house and its gardens are immaculate and beautiful. We stayed in the garden suites and they’re brand new and beautifully styled. Everything worked perfectly and the bed is really comfy. You couldn’t fault the property at all. The pool and gardens are amazing. It was so relaxing by the pool and all the other guests were lovely too! Leon and Luke and all the staff are incredible too and really make you feel special and can’t do enough for you. The breakfast was 10 out of 10. As they have such a high rating on booking.com I thought it would be hard to actually deserve the rating but they really do deserve it. Exceptional stay! There’s nothing to dislike about the property!

June (9/5): The staff were great; the service was great - I do not hesitate to recommend this property. - The property is superb. Beautiful old cape Dutch house set in delightful gardens - amazing birdlife. There was only one thing that was a small issue - the bed was very high and being very short it was quite a challenge to get in and out of the bed 🙈
Hanlie (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything - the spacious room (with underfloor heating), the friendly staff, the beautiful historical main building, the spectacular, rambling gardens, the delicious breakfast, the hosts that go way more than the extra mile, the peaceful ambience... Vredenburg Manor House is simply magnificent.

Lauren (10/5): Little Oasis Accomodation - This is such a lovely property and grounds on a quiet road. The bed and pillows were great, overall the room was really clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We were only there for a night but I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a little oasis escape. Nothing.

Becky (9/5): This is a beautiful and quiet place to stay. Highly recommend! - This was a beautiful property and Luke and Leon (the owners) and all the staff were very welcoming. The room was large and beautifully prepared with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers. It opened out straight onto a terraced area with a view of pool and lovely gardens. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order and we were able to sit outside on the terrace for this. The honesty bar was well stocked and well priced. We had great recommendations for local vineyards and got Ubers easily to the places we wanted to visit. Would have love to have had longer and would happily stay here again! Nothing.

Hospitality is written in capital letters at this guest house and every wish, be it a bbq on the private terrace, a very early breakfast or anything else is taken care of by Luke and Leon! The guest house managers know all their guests by name and interact daily. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to take a break from standard service and experience a truly customized hospitality experience. Everything was perfect

Ml (10/5): Fabulous stay at a beautiful Cape Dutch architecture building. - Turning of from the mainroad the entrance is already beautiful then once you enter via a gate the property, the garden is so nice and well maintained. Then you see the building, simply gorgeous, inside and out. The staff very friendly welcome. The pool area, breakfast, the 2 managers, Luke and Leon interacting with the guests it all made us feel special! Nothing.

Ian (10/5): Great hotel/guest house. Lovely gardens, fantastic pool and loads of sunbeds - Breakfast was excellent. Option to have in the dining room, on the terrace overlooking the pool and gardens or on the courtyard on the other side of the building. Started with muesli, with fruit and yoghurt, and honey on one day, fruit juice, fresh coffee or cappuccino or tea if preferred. Great choice of cooked breakfast. I went for single or double eggs benedict with either bacon or salmon. Croissant and toast also. The hosts were most welcoming, the staff all very accommodating. Our room was in the main hotel, and our friends were in one of the garden rooms, which had the advantage of a small private garden area and kitchenette.
