- Jessica (10/5): Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt - Das Hotel hat uns wirklich überzeugt. Die Zimmer waren neu renoviert, modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das außergewöhnlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Selbst bei einem privaten Anliegen wurde uns schnell und unkompliziert geholfen ( vom Chef persönlich- abends um 11 Uhr) – das ist heutzutage nicht selbstverständlich. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben wird. Auch der Sauna- und Wellnessbereich war sehr angenehm und perfekt zum Entspannen. Zusätzlich gab es ein Billardzimmer, einen Tischtennisraum sowie eine Kegelbahn, die man komplett kostenfrei nutzen konnte – ein wirklich tolles Extra, das den Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht hat. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen Es war alles super

- Kühnappel (8/5): - Das Hotel ist von außen als auch von innen rustikal. Passt perfekt zum Namen und ist super schön bis ins kleinste Detail gestaltet. Das großzügige des Zimmer war sehr angenehm. Im Badezimmer gab es super viele Ablagen für die persönlichen Sachen wie Waschtasche und Co (beim oder auf dem Waschtisch als auch in der Dusche) Es waren genügend kostenfreie Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Auch das Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr zu empfehlen.

Der Wellness-Bereich ist sehr schön und bietet genügend Platz, da er auf zwei Ebenen verteilt ist. Das Essen im Hotel ist empfehlenswert, sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top! Ein Wasserspender im Spa-Bereich wäre gut.

- Koelen (10/5): Heerlijk hotel - Superschone kamer, vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten. De Chateaubriand is een echte aanrader. Je kan bijna recht tegenover het hotel direct naar beneden skiën en je bent op 5 minuten rijden van Winterberg. Alles bij elkaar genomen gewoon top! Niets!

- Rene (5/5): Nice building without guests who charge extreme amount for coming with your dog. - The whole hotel was nice as a building. Nice swimming pool. Unfortunately the pictures from the outside are made in a way that it looks that there are no other buildings around. That is not true this hotel building is just next to and in between other pensions. That we were the only one in the swimming pool was very nice and the main advantage of this empty hotel. We were there in December the whole hotel was empty exept maybe one or two guests more. The nice diner room was empty so not nice to eat there on your own in dead silence. The same for the breakfast. There was no music and it felt like the hotel was closed. Very strange in a period it must be high season. So there was nothing romantic about this hotel when we stayed. When you do not make money by filling up your rooms some hotels like this one try an other way. We came with two Labradors and they charged us 25 euro per dog per night. That is more than a dog pension charges and that is included care and food and this kind of extreme costs is nowhere mentioned. Most hotel charge maximum 10 euro. Politely I mentioned that I vacuum cleaned the room myself (Labradors always loose hairs) before leaving. This did not make a change and with a big smile the reception charged me 100 euro extra for two dogs two nights.

Der Wellnessbereich war einfach mit den Aufzug zu erreichen. Hier konnten wir uns sehr schön entspannen beim Schwimmen und in dem Saunabereich. Das Abendessen und Frühstück sind zu empfehlen. Danke an den Küchen- und Servicepersonal. Es gibt eine Kegelbahn und ein Billiardraum. Das Ambiente hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Highly recommend booking this hotel if you are planning on staying in the area if Winterberg. There are charging spots in the garage (2x) for electrical vehicles. Please talk to the staff at the checking, they are happy to help.

We had dinner at the restaurant two evenings and enjoyed fine dining on both. Swimming pool, sauna and jakuzzi are so heavenly to relax after a ski-day. Fireplace is awesome with real wood. We will definitely come back.

The perfection is the key for this hotel - we enjoyed the food - the breakfast and the dinner were just great, the whole ambiance of the hotel is beautiful and romantic. The stuff is so frendly and helpful, it was so clean, spa and the nature around! The bikepark is also just few minutes away.

It was nice, but we needed to walk outside each time we wanted to connect to the hotel, it wasn’t very pleasant when cold outside and using the swimming pool. A family with kids stayed in the appartement above and were incredible loud, it was impossible to rest. Unfortunately the pricing of meals is also very high- 30 euro for breakfast! Sorry, but no.

One bread roll and one slice of bread each, which were not fresh by the way, and only little selection of things to put on. A body lotion would have been nice in the delux room for that money! However otherwise we enjoyed the stay! Lovely area and people!

Tag dog bilen eller bussen 8-10 minutter til Skiliftkarrussel i Winterberg for endnu bedre skiløb. Lækker restaurant med dedikeret vinbar og lækre 3- og 4-retters menuer med udvalgte Tyske vine. Fantastisk Spa-Wellness område med stor pool, boblebad, dampbad og loftssauna. Efter kl. 19:00 om aftenen havde vi hele Spa-området helt for os selv.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Sauberes Hotel direkt am Skigebiet - Schönes Hotel direkt am Skigebiet. Großer Pool. Sehr Kinderfreundlich. Das einzige was es zu bemängeln gab war der Service im Restaurant der teilweise etwas schlecht organisiert war.
- henk (10/5): Rust, relax en ruimte - Heerlijk hotel of appartement. Genoten van zwembad, sauna en stoombad. Schitterend vertrekpunt voor heerlijke wandelroutes in deze mooie omgeving. Bezoek de bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. En het stadje Winterberg met zijn vele terrassen.

- Ein Soester (8/5): Schönes Hotel, nah an Wanderwegen - Wir waren schon mehrnals in der Astenkrone,immer wieder gerne. Allerdings gibt es einen kleinen Abzug: Das Fishing for Complimennts nimmt doch zu sehr Überhand. Jeden Morgen beim Früstück ein Bewertungsbogen ist dann doch zu viel. Und am Abreisetag ein Bewertungsbogen für das Hotel/ Zimmer plus Bewertung für das Essen, irgendeine Marketingsaktion, ähnlich wie hier. Einfach übertrieben. Schönes Frühstück aber, freundliche Bedienung, so wie man es gerne hat. Auch die neue Rezeption sehr gelungen und überaus hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter dort wie im ganzen Haus.
