Guest Reviews
- Jane120 (10/5): Fantastic. - Giuseppe, my husband from Salerno, Italy, and I traveled from South London to visit Rome this autumn. How fortunate to stay at the Hotel Des Epoques. Wonderful, warm and helpful concierges, chambermaids and dining room personnel. The room was beautifully furnished in Grand Epoque style, clean and very quiet. The Hotel was perfectly situated to visit all historical sites; bus numbers and routes marked on maps for us by the concierge. My husband particularly enjoyed the breakfast espresso coffees - delicious choices of dishes and pastries to fuel our expeditions! Grazie Mille, we say to the wonderful staff at this beautiful hotel. We will definitely return.

- Andyrich0 (10/5): Great Stay - Superb pre-cruise one night stay. Room was excellent, clean and a good size. Bathroom and shower excellent. Breakfast had good options. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
- Tassandaff (2/5): Massive disappointment. Mould in the bathroom and no basic facilities. - Where do I start.
Whilst the staff are very pleasant, it doesn't make up for the state of this place. It is so dated, the only solution is to gut the place and start again.
Firstly, the bathroom is so small and very mouldy. This is no way a 4 star hotel. Please see photos. The bathroom shower holder was broken. The cubicle is tiny. You can't use the shower attachment and you have to hold the shower head in order to shower. When you attach it. The shower head can only face horizontal and therefore making showering difficult. The shower tray has leaked all over the bathroom floor. Shampoo provided but no shower gel or conditioner. You do however get small bars of soap. So bring your own.
Aircon doesn't work nor does the phone.
The room is very small.
The bed rock hard.
No tea and coffee facilities.
Scratches all over the floor where the furniture has been dragged and the view, a brick wall. The fridge is barely cold.
A double bed and they provided only one extra pillow. Seriously!!!!
The positive reviews on here must've been for a different hotel.
This was meant to be a holiday treat for my brother in law's 70th birthday. I'm embarrassed.
The location is good, but that doesn't make it 4*.
And this is only day one. If I was staying more than a few days, I would ask for my money back. I've been in budget hotels better than this. It's shocking. Not happy AT ALL!!!!
This accommodation wasn't cheap.
And that's just my room. I have no idea what my brother in law's room is like. Further update to follow.
- Mizue (10/5): Pretty Hotel - Friendly staff, clean hotel, nice architecture and decor. Breakfast choices were a bit limited.
- kbb098 (10/5): We loved Rome - Don’t listen to the reviews I was a bit worried after reading them but the hotel was perfect for me and my daughter who’s 12 it was a lil dated but that added to the charm the room was cleaned daily with clean Towels and the maid was so lovely we was about 10 mins out from the centre just jump on the 60/62 bus there and back which we got bus passes from the shop right by the bus station the staff were so helpful at the hotel always going out there way to help me find places and how to get there always greeted us with a smile we absolutely loved the shops and restaurants near the hotel so much quieter after a busy day and the service so much better I didn’t feel rushed and the prices were so much cheaper around the hotel there was a Japanese restaurant just around the corner which was beautiful if you fancy a change we even got a take out Chinese from the restaurant next door on the last night to our room which was beautiful the staff in the hotel gave us plates to eat in our room there was a supermarket two mins over the road which we used alot
- Claire (10/5): - The only thing I didn't like was the lamp beside the bed, I think it should be much softer light for reading. It was too harsh. Everything else was great!!
- sallyd148 (8/5): Beautiful hotel - don’t go economy - Beautiful hotel, however I would not recommend booking an economy room.
The economy room is to the side of the main hotel. The room is beautiful, but very small! Wardrobe is the only place for clothes and the bed is a double. Updates are needed, but everything worked. Key positives are that it is very close to bus routes, there is an elevator, and the AC works great in our room!
- Bartosz (8/5): Very good -
- Stampoulis (7/5): Good -
- Mike (9/5): Great for tourists and traditional Rome experience - Beautiful old traditional hotel with great potential for photos or filming . Staff very helpful. Nothing . Perfect Rome experience
- 230madhvis (10/5): Best family hotel we have stayed in - If you're wanting a family environment with smiling, courteous staff who will look after your well being then this is your hotel. Reading the reviews I was nervous to book but thought as it's a fantastic location for a reasonable price, I would be fine to sqaut for a few days. Man was I wrong. They treated my family with the upmost respect and kindness. When the main restaurant staff missed seeing my Son at breakfast (who is 10 so not so much of a baby) and asked where my bambino/ piccolo was. I said he was asleep and so she loaded me up with food to take up to the room. She explained things in Italian but I could comfortably understand what she was saying. I cannot throw my confidence in the hotel upon this single angel. All the staff big and small were incredible. After we came back from an exhausting day out, the staff always welcomes us with a ciao and smile.
The hotel was super clean, very quirky decor. I have no idea how they kept black glass constantly shinny and streak free!!!
The beds were delightful and incredibly comfortable. Fully functional air con and massive bathroom with all the facilities you needed for your trip inc. Hair dryer.
Oh and bus 60 and 62 is literally a few yards from the front of the hotel that takes you to the Colosseum and Vatican city. Busses run every 10 mins.
- Sophia (8/5): Enjoyable place to stay - Great little hotel, close to centre with bus just outside on central bus routes. Btekfast was nice quality products ( we did need to ask for refil of some food a few times though)
Rooms were good and spacious though the hotel itself is quite dated was probably fantastic when it was new. Overall i would stay again definitely.
- Angie (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (9/5): It was probably a very high end hotel, but it was now looking tired and the little things mentioned above are an example - Very clean and good location.
The staff were excellent. The receptionists very knowledgeable and helpful regarding places to visit and transportation.
The restaurant staff were extremely helpful, friendly and cheerful. Despite one of the few times to encounter the language barrier they were excellent. Although we couldn’t say we didn’t like the hotel, little things spoilt it.
Our room had an arm broken on the chandelier which had been taped up. The bathroom room fan would scream like a banshee until it found its momentum.
- Lubna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenny (8/5): Overall it’s a comfortable stay and staff is very friendly. - The hotel is unique and traditional. Room is quite spacious for 2 of us and bed is comfy . It’s not very central but the bus stop is just outside the hotel and the journey is not that far to the center . Breakfast is ok , not a lot of variety .
- Daniel (10/5): Lovely hotel, nice district on the edge of old Roma - All good
- Spenc1975 (2/5): AVOID this hotel - AVOID AVOID AVOID. Booked to stay here, pain in full on Booking.com in March hotel received the money in June. Contacted me in July, cancelling my booking with 2 weeks to go. Said no money received, even told me to pay them directly. Rude, not helpful at all, had to cancel via Booking.com and rebook a new accommodation. DO NOT trust this hotel.
- Sally (7/5): Good - Location
Comfortable
Clean
Beautiful building Breakfast
- Alexandra (6/5): - The place is a little run down. I think some things may be a safety hazard. Such as mold.
- Katrina (6/5): - Whilst the building itself and the entrance seems very nice, the rooms are musty, old and less than impressive.
The bed has a big dip in it. It felt like the mattress was 20 years old and had a lot of heavy people sleeping on it.
The walls were dirty, it smelt musty in there I had to open the window every day to try and air it out.
The key in the door almost didn’t even work! It took a lot of effort to turn the key on the right angle to open the door.
No kettle, tea or coffee in the room.
Location was good as the bus stops basically right outside and you can take the bus to the train station or straight across the city.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Anna (10/5): Very good overall - Very comftable posh pleace Confusing with the lift. To go to 5 floor you have to take to lifts😅
- Karen (8/5): Would recommend if you are coming into town by car : parking in front of hotel was great ( but isn’t guarantee) - Staff delightful and really helpful - they quite made our trip. It’s a bit of a way from centre of town ( and temperatures were high ( 35°C +) but buses were good.
- Lorielyn (9/5): Elegant and lovely hotel - The first time I saw the hotel's interior it really wowed me. So, I really made sure that I will be able to book in this hotel. When I called unfortunately, I was told that they are already fully booked. It didn't stop me from booking it anyway. I found a booking website (Booking.com), where they still have an available room so I grabbed it. This is what I like with Booking.com.
My room is just nice. Just a standard basic room which is ok with me. It's just that, it is not what I picture it will look like given how impressed I got when I saw the reception/lobby area and the stairs and dining area. You can really feel like "royal feeling", how grand it looks like. Even when I post it in my FB. i posted some photos and videos on the lobby area and the dining area. I didn't show my room. Just the lobby and the dining area. All of my friends and families keep asking me about it. And even saying how elegant and so beautiful.
But the room is not. It is just a simple standard room. What you see in the website about the room photo is how it really look like in actual. But the good thing is that they clean the room everyday.
Breakfast - is ok. I just wish that they serve differently everyday or at least change some of it alternately not repeating the same thing over and over, especially that I stayed there for 5days and 4 nights. Imagine eating the same breakfast over and over. But the staffs are so nice and friendly.
Location - it is good that the bus station is just a few mins walk from the hotel. But given that there's a strike and city centre is a bit long walk to do There's no bidet in the toilet in my room. This is very odd because normally or traditionally Italian houses or establishments even have a separate bidet. Or at least the hose-like bidet. The tissue holder also in the toilet keeps falling down. And the flash cover in the toilet keeps falling down as well. I hope they fix it soon because it is annoying.
- Charlotte (9/5): Superb - Its was close to the centre but just enough out the way not be busy , bus stop outside Beds wasn’t the comfiest but the price we pjs
- Eric (10/5): - The Hotel Des Epoques was all we asked for and more. When we checked in, and went up to our room the we had initially paid for, the check-in clerk quickly met us in our room and offered an alternate arrangement since we had a party of three, my wife, daughter, and me. We viewed the other room and it had two separate bedrooms with queen sized beds, and a shared bathroom. It was perfect. The decor was extravagant, with chandeliers in each room. The breakfast each day offer good low carb options, in addition to a variety of pastries. The cappuccino machine was exquisite. We were very close to some very restaurants. We will return to this location the next trip to Rome.
- Garry (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place, and I really enjoyed the breakfast.
- Celine (7/5): Good -
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the decor, the wonderful staff, the comfy bed, and the lovely breakfast!
- Jiann (8/5): - Breakfast was excellent. Comfortably stayed
- Fernando (7/5): Nice hotel in good location with small room - Nice hotel in good location, and helpful staff The hotel is fine, the room was quite tiny for a 3 stars hotel.
- Марі (10/5): Exceptional - I had an excellent experience in this beautiful hotel. I very appreciate the assistance from the reception girl, who has printed a ticket for me, arrange all the information about the bus, location etc. All people were so professional. I highly estimate the service in this hotel. The room was clean and beautiful. The exterior design of the hotel is fascinating like a museum . It's 15 min by foot to the Villa Borghese. Great location as for me. Breakfast is served by a kind lady who speaks a bit French language,so it was a pleasure to communicate with her. Breakfast was fine with sausage, eggs, few kinds of pie , potatoes, salads and delicious green tea. I really happy to have a chance to stay in this hotel. Best regards. Marina M. It will be great to have a free bottles of water for free in the room.
- Mauren (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful property, in a very nice area. Close to public transportation which was extremely helpful, as we covered much of Rome during our stay. The staff was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the city, and advised us about the best (and least expensive) options to navigate Rome. Also, the breakfasts were wonderful! I highly recommend this property!
- Inu (6/5): A budget hotel in a great location. - The main important thing this hotel has is its location. It’s very close to the bus station, where you can take lines 60 or 62 to the city’s top attractions. If you walk about 1 km, you can also catch the metro/tube B line.
Aside from the location, the staff were friendly, smiling, and always ready to help. The room was mostly clean, and I didn’t notice any unpleasant odors as others mentioned. The bed was comfy and clean, and housekeeping made up the room daily, even changing our towels if they weren’t on the floor. Compared to other guests who stayed at this hotel, we were given a room in the main building with a street view. The room was spacious enough but very old and poorly maintained. The window didn’t close properly, the bedside tables, the wall carpet were damaged, and the bathroom fixtures were deteriorating or rusty.
The breakfast was very poor, with only a few options, and if you didn’t arrive early, you had to wait a long time for fresh servings. By my second morning, I was seriously tempted to skip it and grab breakfast from nearby restaurants.
- Helen (9/5): Superb -
- James (10/5): We arrived at short notice and our hosts could not have been more accommodating - Very helpful and very clean
- Aywah (6/5): Average - The place was clean The rooms are tiny, no kettle and one has to get out and use an external elevator to the rooms upstairs
- Aubrey (8/5): Very good -
- Mohd (8/5): Very good - The staffs were amazing. Bless them. They try their best to do things for you. I didn't even asked for my room to be done as I was ashamed of my things everywhere but I was pleasantly surprised that they did the room up, even emptying the bins. I had the option to downgrade myself to another room with a better view but I didn't have the time to do it. It feels a bit dated with all the decor and feels very lonely as my room is in a different part of the hotel which I had to take the lift twice every time going up or down. But the staffs were so friendly and helpful and wonderful.
- Marcela (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the design, great location, staff at the recepcion, and the nice breakfast lady. We asked also for extra blanket, as we do not like to share just one, and we got it without problems. Also breakfast were very good ( ham, cheese, eggs, vegetable, cakes, müsli.. ). We come back! :)
- Ahmet (3/5): Not towel also other - Dizayn Not sale 102 number
- Ludmila (8/5): good quality for the price paid - Room was big enough, well equipped, location was outside the centre but it was our choice The hotel needs mmore maintanance - flashing toilet, handles.
- D434QSfionar (8/5): Perfect x - This hotel is beautiful but a little tired however that doesn’t take away from its charm. The room was cleaned daily, staff were very friendly and helpful and lots of choice for breakfast. Do get down early for breakfast to enjoy it hot.
The room has old fashioned charm and is grand if a little dated but frankly I prefer the character when visiting a new country. Plenty of hot water and the option of a bath or a shower.
The bus can be caught just outside and the 60 or the 62 will get you to most of the sights you will want to see.
As you come out of the hotel turn left and just down the road is a lovely place to eat which isn’t over priced.
Turn right as you come out and just up the road is the Tobacco shop to buy your bus tickets. Make sure you get tickets as we saw lots of people being removed from the bus for not having a ticket and they take your passport details and fine you 50 euros 😱
If you come out of the tobacco shop and turn right and follow the road around there is an amazing ice cream shop just down the road.
On the corner up from the hotel is a pizza takeaway, also delicious.
I don’t think I’ll be back to Rome but if I were to visit I’d stay here again.
I will be sad to leave in the morning x
- lucindam838 (10/5): Sightseeing - Hotel is old and traditional, but we liked that. Our room was upgraded due to requesting a bath, the reception staff were super helpful and accommodating, advising which buses to catch etc. Room was clean. Bus stop right outside to all attractions so very convenient. We will definitely return.
- Zosimidou (7/5): Good -
- Konstantin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (5/5): Passable -
- Passenger51935595346 (4/5): Terrible - Not at all what was expecting. We arrived and were brought outside the hotel to another door to our room. Hallway entrance to the lift was horrible.was like goin to an unkempt apartment building Room was small. Kettle in the room but no tea or coffee. Cheap plastic glasses in the bayhroom not even a real glass.Zero interaction with staff as we were separate to the hotel. Was advertised as city centre close to all attractions. Definitely not the case. Wouldn't recommend
- Viorica (10/5): This Rome hotel offers an ideal combination of comfort, elegance and central location. Situated clos - Everything was excellent! The breakfast was varied and fresh, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the hotel location was perfect, close to the main attractions. The staff was very kind and always willing to help. I highly recommend this hotel! -
- maria-hewer (2/5): Don’t stay here - Not a 4 star
Safety deposit box broken
Reported it 3 times never fixed - it’s not locked in place - you can pick it up and carry out of room! Had to lock our valuables in the lining of our case!
Breakfast was awful - paper cups for juice - no glasses
Pastries were fresh but over sweet
No edible hot food
Sloppy egg and a tea light keeping it warm.
Rooms are musty - very old - felt like we were staying in a museum.
Furniture so old could unpack as clothes would smell old.
Bathroom was ok good shower but very small.
Room not serviced one day - cleaner came at 330 - we just asked for fresh towels.
It was advertised as a city centre hotel
It is not 20 mins on a crowded bus from the centre
Do not stay here
- Robert (3/5): The management of the hotel does reflect the grand & historical architecture of the property. Shame this could be a - The historical architecture & location
Large bathroom 1. Poor service! Unfriendly at the check out & inexperienced receptionist at the check in . No smiles or showing genuine interest & care.
2. There were No towels in the room because of lack of stock and/or late delivery from laundry on Sunday. They knew about it but did not inform us at the time of the check-in. We had to discover it and go down and pick up our towels late at night because the phones were not working
3. When we tried to use the telephones, both of them were dead inoperative we had to go down to the reception to ask for service
4. The most dangerous and risky aspect was that the smoke detector on the ceiling was covered by tape😱😱😱
5. Lots of Missing and unfinished details in the interior and signs of humidity on the ceiling and walls
6. Lighting was poor and insufficient
7. I met with the manager Mr. A Longo who listened actively to my remarks but no action was taken I.e offer an amenity or a discount . He was giving excuses like Covid etc..
- Kayla (8/5): - The staff was amazing and it was a great location. The room was large enough but we were on the fifth floor so we had to take the regular elevator to the third floor, get out, walk through a couple doors, down a hall and get on the exterior elevator to the fifth floor. That was annoying but we managed. All of the people working there were very kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Rome!
- Matthew (10/5): - Lots of food options available
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff were a bit disorganized and could not figure out the bookings easily. Room needed supplemental linen supplies on arrival and was quite basic. Although clean and comfortable. Breakfast started a little later than advertised.
- MEJC61 (8/5): Mid week break in Rome. - This a very traditional 19th century hotel, adorned with marble, chandeliers and mirrors.
Open 24hrs, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was included, and had a great unlimited selection.
Lovely traditional feel if you like that sort of thing.
- Lidia (9/5): Superb - The room was beautiful clean and stuff were very nice. Breakfast was a bit limited in some aspects but overall good
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved my short stay! Great hotel - I stayed here solo and loved it. It’s a brilliant and affordable stay without compromising on quality and the service you’d expect. I’m very glad I chose this hotel and it’s 20 yards from a bus stop that will get you to all major spots in the city within minutes. The front desk was always manned and very helpful and hospitable
- Guadalupe (10/5): Majestic - Like out of a movie. The place I'd go if I were a tortured poet in Rome and needed to write dark, baroque verses. Marble and mirrors everywhere. Decadent, ancient, I don't know. The paintings in the reception ceiling are ORIGINALS! High quality renditions of Greek mythology. Adored everything. Would return.
The breakfast was great too.
- Leandro (8/5): Very good -
- Varvara (2/5): Very poor - Near bus station Bathroom had black mold on the walls and the whole room smelled like mold. The glass door of the shower also had damages they were cracked and damaged. There were damages on the walls and the fabric of the wall paper was dirty. Also, when we ordered for no service they BUT, entered the room while we were out and they changed the room curtains without telling us about it and without even us even asking for the change. The breakfast for a 4 star hotel was very low, there were barely any options. The same person who served the breakfast was also cleaning the rooms.
- Joachim (7/5): Good -
- CHARLES (10/5): - Beautiful interior, friendly reception, large comfortable clean room
- Pablo (8/5): - Thank you Franco!!! Excelente atención de todo el
Staff Pamela nos ayudó muchísimo
Mil gracias
Pablo y Lilian de Argentina 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
- Gabriela (6/5): Mid tier Hotel - Location was good and the staff did a good job of accomodating us. The facility itself was run down. A lot of the fixtures were broken, the wifi didn't work for us, the shower and sink did not drain, the fridge didn't work, and the room itself wasn't the cleanest.
- Oswaldo (10/5): - Elegant and historic space. Everyone was kind and helpful. Enjoyable.
- Shahriar (6/5): Pleasant - No I booked twin bed but i stayed in single bed
- tallaght2018 (4/5): I had a bad experience with the hotel but Rome city was a fantastic place to visited again - The damp and bleached smell is killing you especially in the first floor, inside the room hot water wasn’t working, fridge is not working, the safes box is not working to keep your documents. Customer service was very bad we had to contact the agent provider to solve all these issues with the hotel.
If you’re not desperate try to avoid this place.
- matt (6/5): - Well I give average as building old. Toilet not working properly. No exception was made about breakfast as they were ready at 7am but did not allow to get anything until 7:30 I paid extra for this and only able to eat on last day. Food is fair. Check in listed at 2:30pm but was not given a room until 3pm.
- Olena (10/5): Exceptional - This is the one of excellent places to stay in Rome - very special atmospheric, cozy and friendly. WiFi didn't work in my room, but I think it can be fixed)
- Fabien (9/5): Superb -
- zahra (2/5): - I don’t know how to explain how bad was almost everything. The room was dirty, you could see nails from previous guests all around the console.
The safe box was not working.
The fridge in the room was super dirty.
Towels were not clean.
Bathroom was very old and not that clean.
The AC was not cooling the room at all.
And the worst experience was at the check-in time when the lady at reception was so so so rude. We were supposed to check in at 2:30 based on what the Expedia showing us, the receptionist gave us the room key and said go to room and check if it is clean. Yes, she told us to check if the room is cleaned yet or not!!!
We went to the room and guess what, the room was not cleaned yet.
We came down to the reception and told her that the room is not clean, she said ok wait here for 1 hour to send someone to clean the room. I asked her if there is any other room available, the answer was no.
We waited for one hour, then asked her again if the room is available and she said “no”, and told us to wait. I told her that the hotel should have other rooms available and she said there are other rooms available, “but I don’t want to give you any other room”.
Finally, another receptionist, a nice lady, arrived and told her to give us another room. She refused to do that, so the nicer lady resolved the issue herself and gave us another room.
- Paul (8/5): Really enjoyed the hotel and city and would love to go back - Hotel is about a mile from the city centre and within walking distance of some of the main attractions. Too many homeless trying to sell you anything from souvenirs to water.
- Ben (6/5): - In a rush I booked this hotel, and had only glanced at previous reviews. When I looked into further some of the reviews were not so good and honestly we were a bit nervous about going. On arrival the hotel was a bit run down, and is in need of some updating. Cleanliness was adequate, but we didn’t think as bad as it had been reviewed. We didn’t leave anything valuable in our room, and the hotel was fine for a couple of nights. It was super convenient to walk to the main sites and from the train terminus. We bought a 48 travel pass and our bus to get us across town to watch the football was only 5 mins walk from the hotel. Reception were polite and helpful. I don’t think I would go back, but it was substantially cheaper than other hotels in the area and suited our budget on this occasion.
- Ken (10/5): - Great place and fantastic room! 10/10 will stay here next time
- krisztina (8/5): - bed was a bit lumpy,
- michaelwH6687FC (4/5): Has Potential, Wait until the Refurbishing is complete. - There was lots of construction signs in the hotel, could be a different hotel when refurbished.
The fellow who checked us in was very friendly and very helpful with information as to where to eat and how to get around. The others on staff were unremarkable, not friendly and not unfriendly, not helpful and not unhelpful, just there.
Room was okay, bed was comfortable enough. Bathroom was old and tired, had to let the hot water run a long time to have a hot shower. Sink plumbing leaked and there was always a puddle on the floor.
Breakfast appears to be ample however the hot food was never hot, cold everyday. Cold eggs and cold sausage are not good.
Location is good, 2 bus stops from Roma termini. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel which makes getting around quite easy.

- Srinivasan (7/5): Good for my stay of nearly a week as a tourist always away from the room. - Great reception hall with a friendly concierge and receptionists. Very small room. The breakfast hour ought to be extended up to 10.30 a.m.
- Chris (8/5): Great value Hotel for a break in Rome - Walkable to city centre and main attractions (30 mins ish to Spanish steps).
Good restaurants nearby (on same block)
We went for six nations, just over an hours walk to Stadio Olimpico
Really helpful cheerful staff.
Spotlessly clean room, cleaned daily.
Seen some poor reviews of the WiFi - we streamed the full France v Ireland rugby game live without any issues.
Breakfast was included but we didn’t take advantage of it.
- Umberto (7/5): Good -
- Efterpi (10/5): Exceptional -
- JUAN (10/5): - Great place, great location, great price, great food!
- Jason (4/5): - The location of the hotel was good, close to notable areas such as Trevi Fountain, Colloseum, The Forum, Vatican City and others. The hotel's water boiler failed for 3 out of the 4 days we were there. The hotel staff was not forthcoming about the issues, because twice we were told that it was fixed only to recant their statement once I call them to complain. We asked for the manager several times and they wouldn't even give the name and just kept telling us "come by at 7 am to speak with the manager". We left early every morning to visit the city and the tours we scheduled so there was never a good time to speak with the manager. Besides, we are the ones inconvenienced so it should have been the staff making an effort to reach us and not the other way around. I definitely would not stay here again.
- Julie (6/5): Love the fact it was big the rooms it was just the noise above and below. - Clean
Big room Our room was away from main hotel. Somehow room 100 is in separate building. Room located on first floor next to lifts, very noisy and also next to the building front door where I’m thinking are apartments in which one apartment had loud dogs barking. Again people come home at night the door bangs loudly.
- M (10/5): Exceptional -
