Guest Reviews
- Lungile (1/5): Its a no no,! - The old man at reception was very kind and helpful. The bathrooms were horrible. The breakfast area was not clean, I could not eat.
- Carlos (7/5): -
- Balasaheb (4/5): Disappointing -
- Muhwezi (5/5): not value for money. - The property is run down and in an abandoned state. The Aesthetics are just not right. The staircases are won out, the dinning/bar area is very dull. The room was not properly serviced and did not have basic stuff. I had to even ask for dustbins for bathroom and bedroom. The reception staff were welcoming.
- Neil (7/5): Good -
- Mohamed (3/5): There much better options nearby. No value for money. You can get a similar rate at Park Inn. Or muc - There much better options nearby. No value for money. You can get a similar rate at Park Inn. Or much cheaper at Karisimbi. Room had cockroaches. Breakfast was basic. Location is good.

- Bernard (4/5): Disappointing -
- Shohrat (7/5): Place with a potential - As any place in Rwanda, people were super nice and polite and that is all I liked about this hotel. this place has a potential if managed well. The rooms are not dusted, the power sockets, phone handle was dirty and appeared not cleaned for a while. Breakfast is served at 7 and not at 6:30 as advertised. The facility accepts ONLY Visa card in spite the booking.com info.
- CHIRAZ (6/5): - All staff work very hard to please clients. Wonderful people. We can see a big efforts to please the clients. This is what I really appreciated.
- Nafym (1/5): Not recommended under current conditions - Rooms are infected with cockroaches!. I requested to be moved into another room but same situation. Also mosquitoes adding to the cahos.
Breakfast was terrible.
- Ipriyeshg (4/5): Bad Experience for Payments - The rate is cheaper The staff is very helpless. The Receptionist during checkout told me that he is just an employee nothing is in hands. There card machine was not working as they were telling me that my card is not working. After trying 2-3 cards they accepted machine is not working. They forced me to pay via cash and when I paid them in Dollar they gave me very less rate very less than other hotels. Other hotels are providing 1150 KWc to 1 USD but they gave 1000 KWc only.
No AC, No Tea cattle nothing.
The old receptionist was very kind but There management is very poor.

- Frank (10/5): - My luggage was left behind in Cairo for the two nights I spent in Kigali. The staff at the hotel could not have been more understanding or helpful. They sent someone to get me a toothbrush and toothpaste, accompanied me into town to buy clothes and helped me to contact the airline as the airport staff would not give me their local contact details. I cannot praise them highly enough.
- Neil (10/5): Hotel - Was a lower cost hotel in a very quiet city centre
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel in a peaceful area - Nice quite small hotel, friendly staff
- Verified traveler (6/5): Highlights from a short stay - The staff is very helpful and kind, I can only say good things about the interaction I had with them. For the first time ever I also got my shirts ironed properly and at a very affordable price. The room isn't in great condition: very stained carped and stench of smoke. In my view, the restaurant is overpriced if you want to have lunch/dinner. Breakfast was decent, though.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - 酒店附近环境好,幽静,離市中心步行不遠,約廿分鐘,每天沿樹旁漫步往來市區與酒店間,非常舒適。且價錢不貴,值得。
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Gave us what we needed for overnight stop on way to border. In centre of town so a bit noisy
- David (8/5): Very nice staff - hotel close to the city - This is my fifth visit to Gorillas. There is always a warm welcome from the staff. The rooms are comfortable. The meals are generallly very good, particularly the breakfasts.
- mike (10/5): Great hotel staff - I recently spent a week in the city and found a home away from home. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is a perfect place to relax after a busy day. It is a great place to have dinner guest as the restaurant does a great job with both food and service. I will look forward to my next stay.
- JD (10/5): Professional elegant staff located in city center. - This was my 5th stay since '11. The staff and location make this the best, secure stay in the city center. Tell 'em JD sent ya.
- Andrew (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - I had a very comfortable stay at the Gorillas City Centre Hotel. Very convenient for my meetings, with nice food and friendly staff and atmosphere
- Verified traveler (6/5): - While the per night cost was good, for a three star I would have expected more in terms of comfort, cleanliness and engagement of the staff.
- vanessa (8/5): Sorry no gorillas - Great location and very comfortable
Good price good value
- Rockower (8/5): Gorillas - Gorillas was fine-albeit a tad pricey. Decent rooms, good hot water and good breakfast in a fine location.
- Dieter (6/5): - accetable Hotel.
