Guest Reviews
- George (10/5): - The property location was ideal for us. The location was very quiet and directly in front of the beach. The staff especially Dona at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. I felt like we were one big happy family.
- Robert (10/5): - Beautiful setting where the Caribbean & Atlantic meet.
- Ray (10/5): Always a nice Stay - Wonderful little hotel in a charming area of Grenada. We live in Grenada in the southern area, and whenever we adventure to the north of the island we stay at Petit Anse.
- Esther (10/5): - stunning location!!
- Keith (8/5): - The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The food was exceptionally delicious. The rooms were spectacular. The property is very quite very secluded and isolated. The rooms are lovely and the hammock just topped it off. I did not realize how far from the airport this place was. The roads are very narrow and windy so it takes an hour and 45 minutes to get there. I would recommend people stay there again. It was very windy. And the ocean was very aggressive. Nevertheless, the view was quite spectacular in the town. A few minutes away was quaint.
- Joyce (10/5): - Spectacular setting and wonderful staff. Half board option was extremely good value, the four options for main include one seafood and one vegetarian option every night and very fresh and tasty. Car hire would need to be booked early but the hotel arranged taxis for excursions with entertaining and knowledgeable drivers. Overall the hotel is simply furnished and the outstanding views and sound of the ocean make for a fantastic experience.
- Richard Hugh Turton (10/5): - A perfect setting, helpful and friendly staff and good food.
- Ray (10/5): Heavenly experience - Petite Anse is a little slice of heaven. Beautiful place, lovely people, good food, and cute, comfy room overlooking the beach. Food at hotel is very good, but for an incredible dining experience go to Armadillo’s, a 5 minute drive away. Advanced Reservations are needed though unless you get lucky.
- Carla (10/5): - Serenity
- Stephanie (6/5): - Pros: quiet and off the beaten path; right on the beach ; helpful organizing taxi and tour; room overlooked the beach
Cons: beach is not well looked after ; everything moves super slowly (meals took over an hour to be brought out after ordering); transfers were often late ; room was musty; tons of stairs
- Samuel (10/5): - Beautiful location with views from the Restaurant area patio northwards, over the ocean.
Crashing wave soundtrack is ceaseless.
Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Restaurant on site serves food and drink throughout the day. At times the wait can be long.
- Nalini (10/5): - Beautiful relaxing property.
- Elin Johanne (10/5): Fabulous Mini Break - We had a wonderful stay at Petite Anse from when we arrived until we left.
Our amazing taxi driver Leon picked us up from the airport and took us back and we also spent a day with him where he took us around the island.
Our Cinnamon room was perfect with a stunning view and cleaned to perfection every day.
We enjoyed the Grenadian breakfast and the special dish Oil Down that was made for us.
The evenings were great chatting to Melvin in the bar, who made the most amazing cocktails. We hope the wedding was fabulous and trust that your speech went down well, Melvin ;)
We had a perfect five days at Petite Anse, which has left us with many fond memories.
- Susana (10/5): - Beautiful setting. Well thought out room. Privacy and comfort. Loved the room porch with the hammock!
- Joyce (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean
- DAVID (10/5): - A beautiful place to stay, the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful ! We would recommend The Petite Anse Hotel to anyone wanting to visit Grenada.
- Randolph (8/5): - Besides the lack of wine and whatnot, there was a nice big bed, a very large roti, and very kind staff.
- Jeremy (10/5): - We had a great stay at the Petit Anse hotel.
Very quiet and relaxing.
- Jason (10/5): - The staff is beyond helpful. The location is great and exactly why you choose remote places. Only small little detail is the beachhead isn't as clean as I would have liked. But still great stay. Plenty of privacy and the food was amazing, I felt.
- Robert (10/5): - My wife and I stayed in the Honeymoon suite and absolutely loved it. The room had breathtaking views of the ocean. We really liked the privacy of the room even though it was only a few steps from the restaurant. I would highly recommend the Petite Anse to anyone looking for a quiet getaway to rest, relax, and recharge.
- ALLYSON (8/5): - Just wish i could of gone swimming at the beach.
- Daniel (10/5): - We very much enjoyed our stay at Petite Anse. The staff was amazing, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. The bartender and drink selection were great and everything we tried on the menu was tasty. The front desk helped organize us with tours to see places of interest nearby. It was such a secluded slice of heaven, we hope to be back.
- Steve (8/5): Amazing place. - Love this property. Each cabin is very private with good space. Bed seems more full size than Queen but I love place and the nature like state of the property overlooking a beach. Water wss too rough to swim but it’s a great place to be. Friendly and helpful staff. Very kind and courteous with great customer care quality.
- Peter (10/5): - A hidden gem in the north end of Grenada. Off the beaten tourist path. If you're looking for a quiet and secluded resort with great food and friendly staff, this is your place. The beach at the resort is as close to "private" as you can get as there are no other resorts fronting on the beach. We arrived by car which we found to be an asset for touring around the area. When at the bar, ask Melvin for a Jungle Bird - best drink ever!
- Kevin (10/5): - A peaceful, tropical paradise with everything you could want for a rejuvenating vacation alone, or a romantic getaway with your partner. I love it there!
- Michel (10/5): - Great location , friendly staff, owner on site , available and great guy! What a story about the beginning of the resort !

- Joshua (8/5): - Our stay was lovely! The staff were all so kind and warm, and I'm honestly going to miss seeing them everyday. Petite Anse truly felt like a home away from home. Also I should mention that the food was amazing. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. They also had a rather large drinks menu, which was also great. During our stay we managed to try 28 different cocktails, and every one of them was quite tasty. When we had an issue with our room, they were very accomodating, and they even gave us a complementary ride into town one day as we needed to go to a pharmacy. Not to mention the view and the water were just beautiful.
- Camille (10/5): - The staff was so friendly and accommodating. But, it was a bit far from the airport so it's best if you have a rental car.
The local breakfast was delicious!
- Helen (10/5): - The beach, ocean pool are lovely. The food is incredible. The staff are extraordinarily kind. I am always sad to leave this special place.
- Richard (6/5): - View was great so was the room. Dining and food wasn’t the best.
- Lucja (10/5): - Grounds and views stunning, Marvin the cocktail man-top service. The only downfall would have to be the restaurant/ food. Inconsistent both in terms of food and service
- Barbara (8/5): - Off season (May) so it was quiet and peaceful. Beachfront cottage was amazing! Rough seas but was able to swim when waves calmed a bit. If you need to get away from crowds and tourists..this gorgeous property is perfect. Good food and pleasant people. Driving is not for the faint of heart but we rented a car to get around. Beach was a bit unkept, palm branches, rotting coconuts, sand flies and seaweed etc. however, we had an amazing adventure.
- Harry (10/5): - Lovely hotel and staff, couldn’t recommend highly enough!
- charles (10/5): - Great location, lovely grounds, large comfortable rooms!
- Jon (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Petit Anse, and we'd definitely return. So peaceful and secluded with a beautiful view. We stayed in the Palm room which is directly on the beach...unreal! We also got the all-inclusive package which, overall, we felt was a decent deal. The bartender, Melvin, was awesome, friendly, and made terrific drinks. Food was pretty good but not great.
Those were the pros, and here are the cons: need more variety for the lunch and dinner menus. Pretty much the same thing every night, with just the fish option sometimes changing. We also felt at times that certain servers did not want to take our orders for certain things. For example, when we ordered milkshakes the server seemed really annoyed and irritated. This happened twice, and this made us feel like we were doing something wrong. Also, the hotel ran out of certain items during the week, such as mint (for mojitos), beef burgers, and certain wines. Not a huge deal overall, though.
Again, great place and I wouldn't think twice about returning. I think the hotel could be absolutely amazing if they would consider a few of the following: 1)consider placing rocks/concrete in the ocean to create a "pool" effect similar to Bathway Beach and to break up the roughness of the water 2)rake the beach area daily and clean up the trash that has accumulated near the edges 3)offer more excursions, especially some sort of snorkeling and boat rides 4)add more variety to the lunch and dinner menus 5)add a beach bar.
- Marla (10/5): - Unlike anything else in Grenada. Totally restorative and relaxing place.
- LESLIE (10/5): - I enjoyed the views and staff.
- Chris (10/5): - This place is Paradise.
- Julia (10/5): - Beautiful view of ocean and surf beach from balcony, nice grounds, clean, great bed, very friendly helpful staff. It's a very restful place (but the wifi is good if you can't disconnect). Melvin the mixologist makes the best drinks. Restaurant has good food with lots of fresh locally grown veggies and locally caught fish. Breakfast included a full English and a local option but they were happy to make what you wanted. Pool was immaculate and beach towels provided. We would love to go back.
- Roslyn (10/5): - Loved, loved, loved this hotel! Highly recommend and I will be back ❤️
- Alister (8/5): - Great view - quiet and relaxing premises. Basic cottages but perfectly adequate. Marvelous verandas overlooking the ocean!
- Tess (10/5): - What a beautiful place! Grenada as a whole is absolutely stunning - mountains covered in untamed jungles, rivers, and waterfalls. Petite Anse is set in the quiet parish of St Patrick. The hotel has its own quiet stretch of beach and the views from the rooms are spectacular. I traveled to Grenada with my two young children (ages 5 & 2). The staff at the hotel made sure we were very comfortable and the people of Grenada are so friendly. We always felt safe and welcome. We hired a guide (Handel) to take us to the Etang Nature Reserve (where you can hike and see mona monkeys), to go river tubing, visit Mount Carmel and the Belmont Estate. He was wonderful and the whole experience was all very lovely. Words really can’t do our experience justice, but we will definitely be back again! Thank you!
- Steven J (10/5): Amazing four night stay! - We really enjoyed our stay at Petit Anse!!!
We enjoyed all of our meals and drinks. We didn’t use the pool very much as we felt comfortable in the sea. The check-in was fast, efficient, and pleasant.
Our cottage seemingly came with its own kitty cat. Tommy stayed with us for our entire stay which was by choice. Best outdoor cat ever!
Thanks to all the staff - everyone was friendly!!!
Thanks Chef for putting up with my food allergies and keeping me full and happy.
- Fabienne (10/5): - A unique and beautiful retreat, great staff, a hidden gem!
We will come back !
- Helen (10/5): - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was extraordinary! Grenada is a lovely island. A perfect, restorative retreat.
- Lauren (10/5): - My husband and I spent 3 days at petite Anse and it was an absolute pleasure! Peite Anse is a hidden gem of Grenada the beach is completely private the food is farm and ocean fresh and the vibes are warm.
We loved it!
- Myrna (10/5): - If you seek tranquility, Petit Anse is the place for you. The sunrise is breathtaking here. Staff are very warm, friendly and accommodating.
- Amanda (10/5): - I love how welcoming the staff is. Its a great place for those who are seeking to step away from outside noise and seek a moment of peace and quiet. Note: the have the best breakfast on the island (hands down)- shoot out to the cooks as every meal is made with love. Please don't ever change
- Kelvin (6/5): - Nice location, close to the beach. Comfortable cottages.
- RandyRummel (10/5): - The staff were amazingly friendly and personable.. just loved our stay
- FloridaBarb (10/5): - Beautiful view. Amazing staff. Great food. Perfect for a quiet getaway. If you’re looking for action, not your best choice, but wonderful for those who want a romantic getaway.
