- Sandra (7/5): My stay was decent but very cold - I stay here because of the convenance of where I need to be. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly. The price could be lower. No matter when I stay there, no matter what the season is, no matter what room I stay in, the rooms are always overly cold. I have to sleep with extra clothes on and extra blankets even with the thermostat set to 80 degrees. Something really needs to be done about that. For the money that I spend to stay there, I should not have to freeze every time I stay.

You were right next door to a Mall lots of restaurants lots of places to socialise fantastic location I didn’t think that the breakfast was very good and there wasn’t much variety at all!!

- Hanley (4/5): Staff and location are what make this hotel worth staying at, nothing else. - The staff were great, very welcoming and polite and the hotel was relatively clean. This is my third time staying here and the second time with the same issue. The duvet was like a sheet. When I held it up to the light, the padding was visibly gone and left in small stone like hard pieces throughout the inside. So much so that the hard pieces actually kept me awake and I ended up taking it off the bed. And the noise from the heat was unbearable which didn't really work.

- Alexis (9/5): - I liked the breakfast spread, the size of the room, comfort of the beds, the overall layout. What was also very convenient was the location. It is smack in the middle of the Cross County Shopping Center and you can just head downstairs and go to the different stores with such a variety. I didn't like that there was no microwave in the room. I never understood that about certain hotels. Also, the fact that you couldn't access streaming services but it obviously wasn't a dealbreaker. Lastly, the cable channels were all off. I was provided with a channel guide but the channels didn't actually match so you just had to browse on your own pretty much.

- valentinoh562 (6/5): A good hotel to rest for a night - I was only there for one night so I unfortunately didn't get to see everything they had. The pullout sofa was unfortunately not very comfortable and had some crumbs on it but it was not impossible to get to sleep. The door was also not very soundproof so there was some noise from people outside. The staff was very nice and we got upgraded which was nice of them. Overall it is what you'd expect for an average hotel and it provided a good place to rest for the night.

- Rachel (5/5): Decent - I liked the location. The staff at the front desk were all polite, helpful, friendly, and professional. The room was clean. There are a lot of shops and restaurants very close which is convenient. The elevator was tricky to operate with having to scan the hotel key and press the button at the same time or it wouldn’t work. There is not designated parking for the hotel. The hotel shares parking with the shopping area making it hard to find a parking space close to the hotel during the day. I would suggest having designated parking for the hotel only.

The room was clean and the complementary breakfast had a good selection of food items that were good (in addition to basic cereal and fruits, each day had a warm cooked item such as pancakes, French toast, waffles, and each day had eggs too). The walkways around the hotel had good shopping stores and eateries.

- Safari629180 (6/5): Overall A Good Stay - Overall Good Stay I had a pleasant experience at Hyatt Place in Yonkers, NY. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the stay feel comfortable from start to finish. The room and overall environment were clean and inviting. The only area that could use improvement is the breakfast. While it was convenient, the quality and variety could be better. One additional suggestion would be to offer a simple guide or overview of the surrounding area for guests who are new to Yonkers. Local dining options, transportation tips, and nearby attractions would be extremely helpful for first-time visitors. Overall, a good stay with great service—just hoping to see some upgrades to the breakfast options in the future.
