• Barbara (10/5): - Posizione ottima, centrale e molto comoda anche per raggiungere i punti taxi. Il riad è pulito, ordinato e ben curato. Lo staff è stato davvero gentile, disponibile e sempre attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Buona anche la colazione. Le camere sono spaziose e dotate di aria condizionata, aspetto molto apprezzato. La vera chicca è la piscina sul terrazzo, con ampio spazio per rilassarsi e prendere il sole. Esperienza molto positiva, consigliato!

If you are looking for an authentic, kind of luxurious, and soul-stirring stay in Fes, look no further than Riad Dar Tahri. From the moment you step through the unassuming wooden door into the breathtaking courtyard, you are transported into a world of Moroccan elegance and serenity. This is one of two riads in Fez medina with a roof top swimming pool, an excellent spot to chill during hot afternoons. The staff and the food, no words, simply amazing. Location, literally 5 min walk from the Blue gate car park, to grate location just by the main medina street, very easy to find. Roof top view is class. I would definitely come back one day. Nothing, honestly nothing

• Richard (4/5): Great location but bed bugs were a major issue - The location was excellent — right on the edge of the medina, making it easy to reach by taxi while still being just moments from one of the main streets. The food was fantastic, with generous portions and really delicious meals throughout our stay. The rooftop area was lovely and a great place to relax, with a small pool perfect for cooling off in the heat, although it’s not large enough for swimming. On our final morning, we discovered several large bed bugs in the bed. We immediately reported this to reception and showed both photos and videos. Staff advised that they would deal with the issue, however the size of the bugs suggested this may not have been a new problem. As other reviewers have mentioned, there was also a strong musty smell throughout the room which was quite overpowering during our stay. The riad was dated compared to others we stayed in whilst in Morocco and our room was very small.

• Shelby (10/5): A perfect place to stay in the Medina - A beautiful, historic place to stay right in the heart of the medina! The location is perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was our favorite of anywhere we stayed during our two week trip through Morocco. My husband and friend also had a great experience at the hammam and spa. The rooftop terrace was a wonderful place to relax and unwind after exploring the medina. The riad is in an incredible location right by the Blue Gate, with easy access to shops and some excellent restaurants. The rooms were very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. nothing, it was perfect

Colazione non a buffet, ma completa. Purtroppo ad inizio piuttosto tardivo (8.30), quindi scomodo per chi, come noi, aveva prenotato un'escursione!

• Maria Johanna Anthonia (10/5): - This was an amazing spot to stay at in Fes! The terrace upstairs was very comfortable, and has a beautiful view. Since Fes can be busy and overwhelming, it is great to relax in between in the hotel. The rooms were also very comfortable, with a pleasant scent. The location was also perfect, close to the centre. Breakfast was good and in large abundance. The staff was in general very friendly. One male staff member however was very friendly towards us, but treated the female co-workers in our view a little less respectful. We were not so comfortable with that, but this could be just a personal matter!

Also, excellent breakfasts! We really enjoyed that every morning. The Riad is centrally located but not too far from the Blue Gate, and close to many restaurants. One of the lights in our bathroom, near the mirror, did not work during our stay making it very difficult to apply makeup. There were no other mirrors in the room. We asked several times to have it fixed but it was never done. The Riad is reasonably priced but simple, no amenities, no water, no TV…bring your own.

A quelques centaines de mètres du Riad se trouve un grand parking ou il est possible de laisser la voiture pour trois euros les 24 heures. Nous avons apprécié la grande terrasse et la piscine qui se trouve sur les toits. Le personnel est très agréable et très arrangeant. Nous recommandons. Rien. Tout était parfait.

• f9eca2bd9421719e357d7a6b7493b3b2 (8/5): Wunderschöne Unterkunft, sehr zentral - Super Lage, sehr schön eingerichtete Unterkunft! :) Auf der Dachterrasse haben wir auch entspannte Stunden verbracht - von dort aus sieht man über ganz Fes. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Betten bequem, allerdings war unser Zimmer - im Gegensatz zum Rest der Unterkunft - lieblos eingerichtet. Wir hatten eher das Gefühl, in einem schnell hergerichteten Abstellraum zu schlafen. Ein paar Bilder, Deko und es würde sich gleich ganz anders anfühlen!

I informed them however I still suffered an allergic reaction which halt activities for me and my family. On another note, they did everything they could to help me overcome the reaction.

• Gern-Fort (9/5): Fès ist mit dem Dar Tahri ein toller, besonderer Ort! - Das Riad Dar Tahri liegt nicht weit vom Bab Boujeloud weg. Mit Google Maps ist es leicht zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist reichlich und gut, aber es wiederholt sich immer. Die Dachterrasse ist super. Toller Blick. Der Pool ist ok. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Letztlich ist tatsächlich nur das sich wiederholende Frühstück ein kleines bisschen negativ, aber diese Bewertung grenzt schon fast an Nörgelei :)

Si trova nella Medina nei pressi della porta blu. Le camere erano un po’ piccole, vanno bene per una notte. Non c’è modo di raggiungerlo con l’auto, quindi occorre avvisare il proprietario che indica un parcheggio che tuttavia è a 7 minuti a piedi: da considerare per chi avesse problemi a trasportare le valigie.

• Peter (10/5): - Really welcoming on arrival, the staff have been great throughout. Lovely breakfast and lots of options for seating either inside or on the multiple roof terraces. The location is ideal, just inside the medina but easy to find just off the main though fare. Good options for food and drink very close, with 3 bars serving alcohol literally round the corner. Would definitely return and recommend. No issues other than the bed was a little firm but thats subjective.

Ci hanno fatto cenare al nostro arrivo tardissimo ed è stata la cena più buona del nostro viaggio in Marocco. La ricorderemo! Colazione servita davvero abbondante. Ti fanno assaggiare (sia a cena che a colazione) tutti i sapori della tradizione Marocchina. Molto pulito e senza gatti in giro! La camera davvero molto piccola e il bagno: la doccia aperta senza una tenda allaga dappertutto. Hotel is little far from main road, where no car can go. so if you want someone from hotel to come and take your luggage then the local person can come to you but will ask MDH 20 MDH for that. not covered by Hotel. but in other hotel in Fez and Marrakesh it was covered by Hotel. Kind of old type of room but the real Riad feeling. No water boiler machine and milk facility for kids in morning. if you need hot water for coffee or drink need to wait for breakfast. Be specific about money (how much and for each activity), if you want to book any additional workshops/activity or city tour from Hotel to avoid the surprises at the end. We booked the Pottery workshop and city tour together, we had agreement with EUR 50 in which I was expecting EUR 25 is for taxi and city tour and EUR 25 for workshop. so I no need to pay at workshop separately. but Hotel person was expecting that I will pay at workshop also again EUR 25. so there was some miscommunication happened but at the end it was sorted and they agreed.

We were quite desperate, but here we found the solution to all our problems; a perfectly clean and beautiful Riad, with a highly comfortable room equipped with all amenities. The most important thing, however, is the people: the staff was incredibly kind and, seeing us in a tough spot, helped us with absolutely everything with the utmost courtesy. They recommended a great place for dinner (personally walking us there so we wouldn't get lost in the alleys) and even arranged a taxi for us the next day to get to the station (excellent service). Tutti i servizi offerti sono stati eccellenti, dal transfer da/a aeroporto, alle cene, al massaggio. Lo staff è molto accogliente e disponibile, capace di farti sentire a casa immediatamente. Fayssal (Fifi) è simpaticissimo e socievole, informatissimo su aneddoti del posto e sempre disponibile. Ti senti subito a casa con lui!

Le personnel est très agréable et à l’écoute. Un grand plus pour les repas proposés qui sont excellents et les petits déjeuner sont très copieux et variés.
• Alexandru Razvan (8/5): - Die Lage war super, Im Zimmer roch es nach Katzenurin. Selbst nachdem wir den ganzen Tag das Fenster offen gelassen und versucht haben zu lüften, blieb der Geruch bestehen. Außerdem haben zwei Mitarbeiter der Unterkunft versucht, uns einen Guide für die Straßen der Medina zu verkaufen, mit der Begründung, dass man sich dort leicht verirren würde und es für Nicht-Einheimische sehr kompliziert sei. Ebenso wurden Ausflüge zu etwa dem doppelten Preis im Vergleich zum Internet (z. B. GetYourGuide) angeboten. Aber no hard feelings – sie haben einfach versucht, ihr Geschäft zu machen. 🙂 Das angebotene Hammam (gegen Aufpreis) war okay, denke ich – es war mein erstes Mal, dass ich so etwas gemacht habe. Allerdings war das Wasser viel zu heiß, und die Massage danach war ziemlich schlecht. Würde ich nicht unbedingt empfehlen, vielleicht lieber darauf verzichten.
• Malika (10/5): - Ce message me tiens à cœur !!! Nous avons passé moi et mon mari 4 jours au Riad Dar Tarhi ... Un séjour exceptionnel !! Tout était parfait du début à la fin . La chambre parfaitement propre , nettoyage tous les matins par des femmes souriante et serviable ! La terrasse avec une vue exceptionnelle sur les montagnes ! Un massage d'un pur moment de détente! Le petite déjeuner bien garni et délicieux ! Nous avions pris notre séjour en pension complète donc avec un dîner digne de la coutume Marocaine bien copieux et délicieux également... Je voudrais remercier chaleureusement Aziz et Faissal qui nous ont accueillis et servi durant tout notre séjour !! Avec gentillesse et bienveillance Toujours au petit soins et avec le sourire. Lors de notre prochain séjour à Fes nous reviendrons à coup sûr !!!! MERCI POUR TOUT 🙏
• Pamela (9/5): Hotel with the Most Friendly Staffs - The staffs are great, extremely friendly.. The shower doesn't drain water in my room. Also the room has smell.

• Raya (9/5): Great place most recommended - The Riad is beautiful and very authentic. The staff was kind and helpful. The food was lovely dinner need to ordered in advance In our room there was some unpleasant smell not sure where in came from
• Carolina (8/5): Está bien. Correcto. - La ubicación. El trato del personal. Muy ruidoso. Y la habitación tenía una sola ventana que daba al interior con lo cual daba sensación de encierro. La ducha no tenía cortina ni mampara con lo cual se mojaba todo el baño.
• Carmen (8/5): Buena opción si no vas con coche - Ubicación y al estar en un pequeño callejón de la Medina no había ruido. El personal amable y el desayuno muy bueno! Pone que hay parking, pero obviamente no se puede acceder a la Medina en coche, por lo que tuvimos que buscar nosotros la zona.
• Sebastian (10/5): Riad increíble con excelente ubicacion, staff, piscina y desayuno! Con cuarto lindo y cama muy cómoda - El alojamiento es increíble! De los mejores Riad en Fès! El mejor desayuno -muy completo-, el mejor personal, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y con buena actitud, muy muy bien ubicado y fácil de llegar, demasiado bonito y con piscina, y el cuarto es muy lindo y la cama muuuy comoda :) Mi Riad favorito y ya he ido a muchos en Fès! Muy recomendado! ❤️✨ Los chicos que lo manejan son los mejores!
• Elisabet (9/5): Muy recomendable - El alojamiento està muy bien situado. Es muy bonito y está muy bien cuidado. El personal es muy amable, siempre listo para ayudar. El desayuno buenísimo. Muy recomendable. El colchon y las almohadas eran muy duros.

• frédéric (10/5): Medina de Fès en famille - Tout d'abord riad magnifique ,chambres spacieuses avec salle de bain impeccable , propre , super bien situé , très bien équipé, rooftop splendide avec piscine repas excellents , petit déjeuner typique et copieux , personnel souriant et efficace , hammam et massages à faire , services et aides précieuses, le cours de cuisine organisé dans un autre riad avec achats dans le souk et cuisine a été parfait . Mais nous tenons à féliciter aussi le personnel de ménage pour leur travail et surtout leurs sourires sincères , les deux soeurs du hammam pour leur professionnalisme et leur efficacité , les cuisinières au top, mais surtout le personnel de réception efficace , consciencieux et professionnel. Un merci aussi à mimo notre guide , " tajine " Enfin un grand remerciement à mon friend Faiçal qui malgré la période de ramadan a su répondre à nos attentes avec sourire et discernement, toujours apte à rendre service . Je recommande grandement ce lieu , n'hésitez pas à vous y rendre , ils sont capables de tout régler, gérer et rendre votre séjour dans la médina des plus agréable. Qui sait la vie nous guidera de nouveau vers ce lieu d'exception . À bientôt 😉 Rien à dire , ni à signaler , simplement recommander ce lieu .

• Jamal (9/5): Spirit of Medina - Great location in the old Medina of Fes, not far from the parking, but still in some walking distance. Very nice national interior, and Moroccan vibe. Hotel is offering unique bath attributes. Breakfast was very good, as well as tea provided any time. Faisal is a very good reception who is always ready to help you lack of windows (very small traditional style)
