Che (10/5): - If visiting Singaporey this hotel in the Maxwell area. Its walking distance to Maxwell station and Chinatown station. There are plenty of hawker stalls and restauhe hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but don't worry. That are comfortable and clean.
Verified traveler (6/5): Honest review of hotel during our stay - If you are looking for a never ending Friday and Saturday night with a club right across the street that closes at 3am, then this is a nice place to stay right after a crazy night of fun. However, if you are looking for night of rest and refreshment, and an early itinerary the next morning, I strongly recommend you to reconsider your stay in this area. There is a night club right across the street which blasts music until 3am, there is no way you can fall asleep unless you have ear plugs. Also, unless you are travelling to Singapore with 1 hand carry or a small bag, there is no way you can have 2 standard sized checked baggage opened in the room. Moreover, there was no staff attended at front desk when we were checking out at in the morning.

Charmian Bernardine (4/5): - I stayed for 5nights I paid for an upgrade to a loft room as my first room had no window. Subsequently, my room was not cleaned for 3 nights in a row. I had to call down to someone sent to change towels. Queen bed was actually two single mattresses put together, there is a big gap in the middle.
Alexander (4/5): - The room was poorly designed and inconvenient. The lights didn't all work, so without a window it was perpetually dark. The shower tiles were coated with some kind of mould or rust.

Nicholas (2/5): - Awful stay. No bedding in room and a filthy mattress to sleep on. Made multiple calls to reception and emtpy promises to send a blanket. No blanket arrived. Calls started to get hung up so I had to get dressed and go downstairs to verbally complain. Finally got a blanket at 7AM having spending most of the night shivering and trying to stay comfortable using the towels as covers. The AC unit also squealed all night with a high pitch whine. Needless to say I left exhausted and disgusted. Would NOT recommend
Verified traveler (2/5): Friendly Staff but BAD hotel layout. - Service was great and the staff was super helpful and friendly (except for the receptionist during the evening). Ive stayed in the loft and honestly the stairs is not really safe. Ive slipped and fell on my last day unfortunately. Ive injured myself in that event with bruises and abrasion, at both my arms and back. The toilets also was badly positioned especially the toilet bowl seating arrangement.

I dont feel safe when I used it. Not worth the money. Check in at 3pm check out at 11am. I wont go here again for the price that I am paying
Leanne (6/5): Location is my only highlight. - I just planned this staycation for the sole purpose of the bathtub advertised in photos. Each room is different and mine was not the one advertised. No lovely green space. The tub was nice but just a tiny corner with a small barrier to next rooms tub. The couple next door were playing music in their tub. Zero privacy. The hotel is in a fabulous area. Zero complaints on that. Room was very small. Light under bed doesn’t turn off. The cleanliness of bathroom was not great. Mildew around soap dispenser. Needed a thorough cleaning. I was told there was water in room, but had to go down to ask for it. Shampoo was empty. Bed was okay but Aircon right over your head. No way to escape. Free drinks but only barley and very local options.
Zing (2/5): Terrible check-in and rude service - TERRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE SMALL ROOM - Paid for room upgrade with bath tub - Hotel check-in staff (Iswaran) was new and rude at check-in, refusing to let us check in early even though the room was ready and it was raining heavily outside - Eventually he let us have the room 30mins beforehand but gave us the room card while he was on the phone and as such we were not informed about the check out time was at 11am - At 11am the next day we were asked to check out to our surprise as most hotels check out time is at 12noon - We told him we had just returned from buying brunch and needed to eat in the room as there was no dining out available before being able to check out. He said ok - But when we checked out at 12+, staff Iswaran proceeded to charge us $17.66 for 1 hour late check out without being authorised to do so - I called the hotel on 9 July 2021 to inform about unauthorised charge but again he was very rude and refused to waive off the charge. - Service was definitely super poor and destroyed our boutique hotel experience. - The room itself is also very dark and dim - It had rained outdoors and no one came to keep nor dry t the cushions and sofa, I had to do it myself. - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WILL NOT COME AGAIN. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

There were also great number of power outlets every where. However, it was disappointing to find the room really dusty in many areas. I had to change room mid-stay and both rooms had quite a bit of dust.
Wei (4/5): Reality behind beautiful photos online - Room is in good visual condition when i viewed online, but staying in it there are countless dirty spots (eg hairs under the bed mat, stain on the toilet floor, dusty smell of the blanket, etc.). Would visit again and would like to tell anyone who wants to try: view my comments and think again.

Verified traveler (6/5): Extremely tiny space - Hotel Soloha is situated next to the bustling Keong Saik Road enclave, with all the excellent bars and restaurants a short walk away. Hotel room is chic and colourful but it is extremely tiny. TINY. There isn’t any room to walk in the hotel nor any place to hang your clothes. There isn’t any space to put your chargers, toiletries and baggage. It’s probably ok if you are just here for a very short stay (1 night or a few hours).

Courtney (8/5): Two Night Stay - Booked the standard room (w/ no window) and it wasn't bad - all the rooms are small, but they're not uncomfortable if you're traveling for a few days/light. However, that room was not the cleanest. The staff was amazing and "upgraded" me to the Deluxe Room w/ a window. I originally didn't book this room because of reviews complaining of noise, but the window did make a difference. Room was facing a popular nightclub, but I assume because of the Coronavirus, no one was partying. It was cozy and I had very peaceful sleep. They were doing construction on the same floor, completing another room, but I didn't hear anything. Loved the location, could walk to places, or catch a quick Grab ride. Manager, Raymond, was extremely pleasant and professional. Couple cons. Wifi only works in hotel itself, not the rooms. And oddly, there was no hand soap in the room I was moved from, or the one I ended up in. During a time of a pandemic, I thought it was weird that there was no hand soap to clean your hands in the room. Overall, I'd stay here again.
CYRUS (8/5): Location Location Location - This boutique hotel is quite different to staying at your big 5star high end hotels. But if its value for money you are looking for, cool exciting location to stay in, and lots of fun clubs and bars to enjoy at night, then this is the place. The personal service the staff provide is fantastic. The room while small is very well thought out. The only downside was for a high tech city such as Singapore the wifi was comparable to a third world location. However the manager went out of his way to assist and ensure my stay was comfortable. All in all, even with the small niggles I would make another visit if I wished to travel to Singapore again.
Margaret (8/5): Beautifully designed, good location - poor windows - Small but functional room for a solo traveler. Beautifully designed space with high end finishes and details. Staff were helpful and the free coffee and drinks were a nice touch. Unfortunately, you can hear everything through the closed windows and the window blinds are set too far from the panes so it's never truly dark in the room at night. Overall, a great place to stay in close proximity to several street hawker markets!

Alexander (10/5): Trendy Hotel with Awesome Staff in Amazing Area! - The hotel is really cool. I stayed in a room for maybe a couple but definitely cozy. The style of the entire hotel is so trendy and so cool. I wish I lived there. The staff was like so welcoming, like family, trying to get me to drink a complimentary drink at every turn! So nice. Free espresso and juices. The room was a bit tight but there are probably larger rooms in the place. Also it is in an amazing area! 1 minute to the biggest gay bar in Singapore and 1.5 min to all the other trendy bars! Will stay here again!

Virpi (10/5): Colourful staycation - I had a couple days staycation at this charming and colorful hotel and fully enjoyed my time. Location is great with short distance to Duxton and main Chinatown and neighbourhood ayt Keong Saik area is picturesque and has nice bars and restaurants. Room (suite) was small but very functional with comfortable bed and large TV and best of all: outdoors bathtub! Common areas of hotel are very colorful and nice and service warm and efficient. Breakfast was also ok: not a huge selection but tasty and had enough variety. I will be happy to return again and hopefully next time with room with window (there are several slightly different size of suites of which some I assume have windows)
Robert (6/5): Big hotel in little chinatown part 2 - Good hotel located at the heart of Chinatown. It was very affordable, but you'd have to get used to a very small room. On the other hand, the staff was completely awesome, and most of the facilities were great. Coffee, water and local sodas were gratis. However, something was just not quite right w/ the room I had. It was just constantly musty and smelled a little like the gym. Not sure if it was the AC or maybe the room wasn't cleaned correctly.

Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel is in a fantastic location, close (about 5 min walk) to Outram Park MRT interchange (and also Tanjong Pagar and Chinatown). Very easy walking distance to great food at Maxwell Food Centre and Chinatown Complex, as well as lots of cultural and tourist attractions. At the same time, it was quiet at night. We stayed in a standard room with no windows. The room was small and the bathroom was fine for a couple, but wouldn’t be if you didn’t know each other extremely well! But it had everything needed for a comfortable stay, and was very clean. The A/C brought in some ‘interesting’ smells at times, but these were generally short-lived. Our room had no windows, which was perfect if you wanted to sleep late, but made it hard to adjust to the time zone - not the hotel’s fault, of course, but you might want to consider a room with windows if you struggle with jet lag. The staff were super-friendly and suggested places to visit, offered umbrellas for the rainy days, etc. The hotel has a bar and restaurant, which we didn’t try, but the food smelled good! The facilities otherwise are a bit limited, but I’m not sure we were given any info on what was available. I guess the main thing that would have been useful was a laundry service, as we had a relatively long stay in Singapore for work and leisure. Perhaps a little more info in the room on where useful facilities locally would be useful. Anyhow, we would happily stay here again, especially because of the awesome location.
Sheryl (8/5): Great location in Chinatown - Beautiful hotel in great location. Rooms are very clean and modern with an artistic flair. The rooms are very small so it is difficult to unpack. Location is perfect as there are restaurants and bars surrounding the hotel. Friendly staff with a restaurant and bar on premises. They provide complimentary healthy canned drinks and snacks in the lobby.

Eve (8/5): - Hotel is modern, clean and pretty. Excellent shower pressure. Staff is also courteous. However, the room is small (good for 1-2 nights or those who pack light), and the ventilation for the bathroom could be better. Room has a perpetual damp smell.

camilla (10/5): Big thanks to all the staff! - Great place to stay - Friendly staff - Big thanks to Gerald, he was charming! breakfast was just right, the rooms had everything you need and designed really well for the space, as I was booked in as a single small room on business. it was in walking distance of China town, Buddist temple and only a 20 min walk to the Marina.t was in a great location, and I cant wait to visit again.
