• Natalia (10/5): A perfect spacious apartment next to the Cathedral - The apartment is very spacious and has everything from a large, comfortable bed to free tea/coffee. It's very clean. The staff helped me with the heavy suitcase, as there is no lift. They were very attentive and helpful. It's the Italian family that runs the restaurant downstairs. And it is only 7 min from the railway station. It was not easy to find; luckily, a lady from the restaurant saw me wandering around and helped with the check-in.

• Kerstin (10/5): Perfekt - Sehr schön eingerichtet, richtig schicke italienische Möbel und Deko, grosse begehbare Dusche, top Lage, unfassbar nettes Personal, richtig familiär. Direkt am Bahnhof, trotzdem sehr leise, da das Schlafzimmer auf den anderen Seite des Hauses ist. Und zwischen dem Wohn-und Schlafzimmer sind noch 2 Türen. Selten so viel Ruhe in einem Hotel in Köln gehabt. Balkon zum rauchen-top. Die Fotos spiegeln kaum wider, wie schön alles ist. Alles super

• Brooke (10/5): Spacious apartment right by the cathedral! - The apartment was very spacious, just a few minutes from the cathedral and train station. They had underground parking for our car. The staff were very friendly and responsive. We were even able to check in early! It was a little tricky to find. It’s attached to the restaurant and the sign isn’t very large.

• Ralph (8/5): Beautiful central apartment with parking. - Beautiful apartment and superbly decorated. Perfect central location with parking for my motorcycle. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The portable AC unit was noisy at night. It was very hot so I did need it.
• JÖRG (9/5): Die Unterkunft ist zum Empfehlen. - Hallo, Übergabe ohne Probleme wie vereinbart Wohnung war sehr sauber. Zum Frühstücken mussten wir in das 200 Meter entfernte Hilton Hotel, war sehr gut. Zum Dom per Fuß in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Vom Balkon aus, ist direkt in 100 Meter Luftlinie der Bahnhof wo die Züge einfahren, sehr laut. Preis Leistung zu Teuer, zusätzlich Parkgebühr 15 € und das Frühstück im Hilton Hotel muss man auch noch separat bezahlen. Im Wohnzimmer fehlte ein Fernseher, für eine Suite.

• Andy (9/5): Perfect - Locatie vond ik goed, personeel was aardig en behulpzaam, ontbijt in het Hilton hotel was perfect(ontbijt is in het Hilton hotel tegen betaling van 20€). Hygiëne vond ik perfect, alles was netjes en schoon ook de douche was netjes schoon. De warmte wat in het gebouw(appartement en de gang)blijft hangen zomers, wij hadden de 2e etage. Er is een mobiele airco maar die moet constant aan staan om het koeler te krijgen. Bij de koffie was geen melk. Dat is mijn mening, 2 kleine puntjes. Maar voor de rest was alles goed.

• Trentz (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful! The whole layout was awesome! Very spacious and clean! Could even see the tip of cologne cathedral! Nothing.. maybe the pink cabinets! But nothing.
• Ziad (8/5): spacious, super clean, excellent hosts and great location - hosts are a family; welcoming hosts, makes you feel at home and extremely helpful and passionate about their work the rooms are spacious; it is an apartment even so you have a bedroom and a living space separated which makes it convenient and comfortable in medium to long stays (2 days +) the coffee machine is a big plus. the bathroom is spacious the property is extremely clean and well kept price is on the high side; i wish that the breakfast was included in the price so that to make it attractive the beds are not that comfortable. with this space; there should be bigger comfortables beds and mattresses

All facillities, Coffee, thee, water, fridge, airconditioning. No sounds from outside. The owners have a very good italian restaurant with real italian food and great staff. They have private Parking space. Booked again for the summer None
• Garrett (6/5): Pleasant stay. - The property was relatively well appointed and well located. It was spotless and well maintained. We booked it as an apartment as noted on your website- but there were no kitchen facilities other than a fridge and kettle. There was no crockery ( other than water glasses and coffee cups) , no cutlery or kitchen sink area. It was a generous bedroom, lounge and bathroom but in our view it was not an ‘apartment’.

• Catriona (9/5): We enjoyed our stay at Maria Suite Am Dom and have no hesitation recommending it or its host. - Had the option of breakfast in Hilton hotel across the street,which was a fair arrangement but decided dine in various locations instead. The property is close to the train station which was very convenient ,but windows muted any sounds so we slept soundly. It had a good sized bedroom with a large comfortable bed. We initially found the property too warm but our host,a most pleasant man,adjusted the Honeywell cooler to resolve this. Bathroom and shower first class. The Cathedral is just a minutes walk away so its central in the Altstadt,excellent location. Minor issues only, there is an electric kettle to boil water, doubtful if it switches off automatically at 100c. Honeywell unit does it job but maybe could be a little softer.

• Jason (9/5): Wonderful stay in Cologne at Maria Suite am Dom - The apartment is in a great location, only a 2-3 minute walk from the cathedral and old town. It is as described in the photos with a separate bedroom and living room with plenty of space for our family. The sofa pullout couch was great. The host met us at the door, directed us to the reserved parking area, and showed us around the apartment. Would definitely stay here again. The apartment sits on a busy street so the outside noise can be disruptive (although we did stay during the Euro tournament so that may be the reason for the noise). Other than that, no complaints with the apartment.

• Ekkavee (9/5): Super large room next to Cologne train station - Very very big and comfortable room (60 square metre or more). Close to train station. Host lives in Italian restaurant downstair. Can contact him anytime. We arrived during the closed time of the restaurant where the host stay. We have to wait in the rain for 3-5 minutes until he opened the door. The rest of the stay is great though. Stair is steep with no elevator. Carry the suitcase up 3 floor.

• Vincent (9/5): Superb - The location was very good; just six minutes walk from the railway station. There was plenty of room and the amenities equalled any you would have in a five star hotel. A lift would have made it perfect. I was given an apartment on the second floor, which made carrying a suitcase very difficult, however, assistance was readily provided both on arrival and departure.

• Lou (9/5): Location, Location, Location! - The location is in the city centre so access to restaurants and shops, was amazing. The apartment was spacious and immaculately clean. The apartment was serviced daily. Beds were comfortable. Shower was great. Owner greeted us warmly. No lifts to get luggage to room and staircase was quite steep. (Owner carried then up but we had to carry them down). Lighting in the apartment was quite dull. Only lamps. Apartments are over a restaurant so noise could be heard from there sometimes. Apartment is close to train station and sometimes trains could be heard at night.

• Kk0102 (9/5): Superb - Location was very nice, quiet but close to the center. The room was also nice, enough space for the family. Only stairs, no elevator. You should make sure the check-in time, otherwise nobody to take care your check-in.

• Kylie (8/5): Very good - Good location and luckily there was street parking available since their own car park was already full. It would have been useful to know that I needed to call the restaurant next door to collect the keys.
• Onur (8/5): Give it a chance if you can - Location, size of the suit is good. Mattress of the bed is comfortable, pillows are also nice. Despite the close location to the main rail station there is no noise audible caused by the trains. Pet friendly. The staff is friendly and helpful. Wifi is good. There is a huge fridge and comfortable sofa. the bed frame squeezes when you turn (suite nr1). There was a continuous mechanical noise like a fan noise. If you are obsessed with noise you may find it annoying but after a while I didn’t noticed it.

Great location. I tried to book the restaurant, but each night it was fully booked. Perhaps, the hotel could have advised me to book a table in advance.

• Teresa (7/5): Good - The room is beautiful. Very nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Hosts are beautiful people who also run the Italian restaurant down stairs which was exceptional. The staff are also very friendly. The air con unit needed to have a vacume pipe put out the windows to work. Leaving the windows open meant it was too noisy to sleep. But it was better than no air con.

• Dennis (10/5): Recommend. AAA+ - A large Las Vegas Suite in the downtown Cologne. Marble floors and exquisite furniture. Huge rooms and windows. A true gem hotel. Recommend! Maybe a lack of elevator might be difficult for some people, staircase is very comfortable and beautifully designed.
• Toby (10/5): Large Suite in the Heart of Cologne - Maria Suites is a family run small hotel of four suites. The rooms are located above an Italian restaurant, Damiano run by the same family. The restaurant is very good. Mine was a really spacious modern room, with lounge and balconies. I expect they are all the same. Fantastic location near the Dom and Cologne Central train station.
