• Ilona (6/5): I was left with a positive impression, but I doubt I would book this place a second time. Great location, very authentic - The location is perfect. Clean bedding. The furniture is quite old. The bathroom could be better. The water was barely warm and there was practically no pressure. The same goes for the towels. There was only one towel for four people. It's fine for a one-night stay, considering the price. I wouldn't recommend staying longer than that.
• Claire (1/5): Shocking dump, no sleep, no return calls or emails or refund even though we didn't stay - Nothing, unclean, we left at 5am due to some kind of room party the blasted music so loud, running up and down stairs, banging doors, shouting out the window to there mates outside, swearing, shouting, completely impossible to sleep. Tried calling reception but no one was there, no one answered our calls or emails, not heard anything from them at all. We booked for two nights, we didn't even get one. No refund offered or any contact at all. It's a complete dive and I'm shocked it's in business Nothing, unclean, we left at 5am due to some kind of room party the blasted music so loud, running up and down stairs, banging doors, shouting out the window to there mates outside, swearing, shouting, completely impossible to sleep. • Tim (7/5): My stay was pleasant and it’s in a good location for activities in Bournemouth. - The breakfast was very lacking with only cereal and toast, each day I went out for breakfast. That was a main con of the hotel. The breakfast could’ve been more range. There was no remote for the main TV and the TV in our room didn’t work.

A number of things like the cleanness the old broken furniture and door handles and switches and lights. The space to move around the rooms. Very claustrophobic.

• Rimma (2/5): Would never book here again - It’s near the beach Everything was bad I wouldn’t even tell my worst enemy to book this place we had four rooms booked all the rooms were separate my kids had to sleep on the top floor while I sleep on the ground with the baby the bathroom was a size of a small store room if you was a big person you defo wouldn’t fit in the bathroom or be able to sit on the toilet the shower wasn’t working they don’t give fresh towels endless you ask for it the beds was so bad you can feel every spring on it the pillow was so flat like a flat bread only good thing is it’s 3min walk to the beach but the stay in the hotel was disappointed

• Bici (1/5): - Complaint/Review Example Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. • The beds were in poor condition. • The carpet and the overall environment were dirty. • The condition of the hotel did not match the expectations or what was advertised. We had booked for 2 nights but stayed only 1, even though we had paid for both, as the conditions were not suitable for staying. It is truly inexplicable how such a place can be rented out in that state.

• Guest (9/5): Amazing! Interesting! Just 5 t 6 mins walk to Zig Zag Bournemouth Seaside. I would stay there again! - Ted, the manager was friendly, supportive and really helpful 👏. He was constantly ready to attend to our needs during the stay. He made sure we had bays to park our car, he ensured we were comfortable and that our ensuite rooms were as clean as we had hoped for. I would stay there again! One of the spring mattresses was due for change. Nonetheless, it was completely terrible. It was alright

• Assis (5/5): Great location - Refrigerator in the room It didn't have the TV as mentioned in the ad and it didn't have the kettle either, it only had the base of the kettle. The bathroom floor was dirty... there was no carpet in the bathroom or some cloth so that when you take a shower the bathroom wouldn't get all wet. The bathroom made a flushing noise or something like that came from other rooms, it bothered to sleep. The room was next to an access door to bathrooms where people passed and slammed the door d+, it even woke us up at night with noise. The room we stayed in was very different from the photos in the ad. The structural part of the room is in need of maintenance... making it look careless.

• kowalczyk (1/5): - The only good thing about the hotel was that it was close to the beach. Room was very small, not cleaned properly, tv was not working. Our room was not cleaned throughout our stay. Bed linen not changed and when I asked for fresh towels for myself and my son I only got one throughout our stay. I was not informed that there was a communal kitchen for the use of customers. Water pressure in the shower was really bad. The lift was so small we could hardly fit there with our suitcases.

• Inguna (2/5): Ullswater Hotel Bournemouth - Shop around, it's awful. - A warm greeting and helpful staff. The double bed mattress was badly worn and concave with springs sticking into our backs. We didn't get a good night's sleep at all. The bed linen was dirty. The en-suite shower smelled disgusting and was poorly maintained. The curtains in our bedroom were facing in opposite directions, the left curtain showing a pattern. The right curtain shows the lining, which was hanging from the curtain rail by 1 curtain hook. Only 1 towel provided for 2 guests. No bar facilities for guests. Nor was there an option to take breakfast.

• Emma (7/5): Great location, needs a revamp. Concerns around safety of guests at night. - The location was perfect for a night out with friends. Not too far from the beach but the hill is a killer if you’re unfit like me. Parking was great, there was 3 cars for our group and we all managed to get parked. It is very dated, I was in the basement and it felt like a dungeon…. The bed had a big dip in it so was very uncomfortable. The shower/bath looked filthy but it was just stained/old. Friends upstairs complained how hot it was, they had a fan so it did help. The biggest issue for me was safety, we arrived back about 2am to a group of people stood outside. One lady followed us up the steps and wanted us to let them in as they had forgotten their keys, there was no reception / staff around so had no clue if they were guests or not. When we opened the door it was unlocked anyway meaning anyone could come in. The halls were dark and it didn’t feel safe sleeping alone.

• janice (5/5): Disappointing - Location was good. Very close to the beach. Parking was free but on a first come first serve basis. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I was on the third floor so appreciated the lift in situ. Also it was extremely hot so the fan in the room was a bonus. The bed was comfortable. The room was basic and dated. I was in room 38, a double. I didn't think it offered value for money. There was a kettle in the room and paper cups. Obviously a cost saving measure but wasteful. The bathroom had rust on the toilet holder and on the mirror brackets. The side of the bath was damaged and poorly fixed. Inside the bottom of the bath was a black mark.

• Gray (3/5): A very basic hotel with absolutely no comforts. No provision for breakfast so expensive for room - The location was fairlly good. Easy walking distance from the beach. Clean room but very basic No parking. We had to wait to be let into the hotel to check in. This was the only time to see any staff. The window would not stay openm so had to improvise. No bedside light or bedside tables. Only one pillow or fan for the hot weather.
• gheorghe (1/5): - Location good,room was ok Unprofessional staff.I forgot my electric toothbrush (oralb io9) in the room when we checked out.called back later on the same day to ask about the brush and they said that probably the cleaners throw it away.the receptionist who I was on the phone with said that they would keep any stuff left behind but not if that "stuff"is personal.they would keep any clothing, wallets or watches, chargers and cables but not an expensive electric toothbrush.very disappointed.
