A little bit away from the centre (approx 10-15min walk) but well worth it and located in a very nice and peaceful area. Lovely staff. building, bedroom and what a beautiful garden. • Helene (10/5): Havre de paix près de la ville - Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Villa Elisa. La chambre est superbe avec des meubles magnifiques ainsi que le jardin. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le jacuzi que l'on doit réserver à l'avance. L'hôtel est environ à 20 minutes à pied de la ville et un taxi coûte environ 8 soles pour se rendre en ville. Les déjeuners sont exceptionnels et le personnel s'assure qu'il ne manque aucune nourriture et nous offre même de nous faire differents cafés personnalisés le matin. Ils ont même un restaurant, ce qui est très pratique quand on veut se reposer à l'hôtel. La nourriture est vraiment savoureuse. Le propriétaire s'est aussi assuré de notre bien être tout au long du séjour et était très présent et très attentionné. Le personnel est très accueillant et semble faire partie d'une grande famille car on sent que ce sont plus que de simples employés pour le propriétaire.

• Rodolfo (10/5): Perfect stay! - I had a wonderful stay st Villa Elisa. The location of the hotel is perfect, in a quiet area, next to a park, just 15 min walking distance from Plaza de Armas. It is ideal. Also, the place is very nice and well kept by their owners and a very friendly staff. There's a garden with plenty of flowers, humming birds, a fountain and a jacuzzi. Jean-Louis is a wonderful host. He gave me all sorts of tips for my trip around Colca and Cotahuasi. He's very knowledgeable about the whole area!
• Verified traveler (10/5): I totally recommend this hotel - I had a wonderful stay. Location is fantastic. 15 min walking distance from downtown, 25 mins from the airpot by taxi. The area is quiet, residential, near a park. The kindeness of the staff is remarkable. The hotel has a restaurant that offers a variety of tasty dishes and drinks. The decor of the dining room and the hallways is very nice, with lots of details and antique objects. There's a beautiful garden and a jacuzzi. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options, fruits, juices, eggs, etc. The place has a long and interesting history in the hospitality business. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely chose it again if I return to Arequipa.

We took advantage of the hot jacuzzi tub that overlooked the grounds. Perfect after a full day at Colca Canyon. Walking distance to plaza de Armas and all the highlights! The on-site chef did not disappoint, we enjoyed everything experienced, especially the chicken courses. • Irenevisak (8/5): Very good - I liked that it felt like you were in a home. The garden is nice. The bedrooms where nicely decorated and very comfrotable. The bathroom was modern. I didn't like that they gave us a room on the 3th floor even though the hotel wasn't full. We had to climb 3 floor everytime. My parents are almost 80, thankfully they manage to place them in another room. I would recommend to book directly with them.

The garden looks beautiful and guest can sit at various place on 3 levels, so everyone still can have some privacy. The Jacuzzi is a nice add-on after a full day strolling around the city. The owner is very hospitable. Breakfast was normally served insight, however he suggested to sit outside in the sun. And then it was arranged in a few minutes. Nothing to add

They arranged my COVID testing onsite to facilitate my return to the US, which was very helpful since I don’t speak the language and wasn’t sure how or where to get the testing. With COVID, they don’t allow meals at the restaurant, but provide full room service for all meals and the food is excellent. I’m really grateful I chose to stay here at the end of my trip. Highly recommend.

We did not even ask for early check in when the owner came himself to tell us that we could get in as soon as they finished cleaning a room that was just emptied if we wanted. It was such a relieve. The staff is so educated and cordial. It’s the second time I stayed there. The pisco sour is the best.
