Guest Reviews
- Carla B (10/5): This is a beautiful serene, setting to a lovely stay at a gorgeous Inn! - This was a beautiful location. The end was so pretty, and the surrounding area was gorgeous. I loved our hosts. They made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I definitely will stay there again when I’m in town. Nothing

- Sally (8/5): Whour daughter’s home. - The quiet rural nature and scenery, comfortable accommodations and amenities, great breakfast.friendly pets and innkeepers. It was a good place to unwind and relax.
- Debbie (10/5): - Breakfast was excellent!
- Merle (10/5): Wonderful hosts, very hospitable! Terrific breakfast! - Beautiful setting! It’s located a ways out in the country, but it’s well worth the drive!
- Justine (9/5): -

- Suzanne (9/5): A charming place to stay with a lovely host and hostess. - Lovely friendly owners. Beautiful cosy room. Lovely sunlounge to use. Honesty box and snacks provided on that basis. Good tourist information. Parking right outside. A calm and peaceful atmosphere. Homemade breakfast served by the host and hostess. A delightful place to stay and would have liked to have been there longer. Beautiful surrounding area. No choice for breakfast - although the breakfast was lovely. As the Inn was in the mountains there is only one Pizza restaurant very nearby - luckily the pizza was amazing! There were other restaurants, but a drive away. The price is on the high side, but as we enjoyed ourselves we didn't mind. You have to be prepared to be sociable at breakfast as you are sharing a small dining room and a large breakfast table with others - we are fine with this as we love to mix and chat but it may not be everyone's cup of tea.
- Asad (10/5): - Everything was excellent , clean property , safe , quit and friendly people

- Alex (10/5): - We had a wonderful breakfast and the hosts were very knowledgeable about the area. It was a great place to stay!
- Brian (8/5): Was a bed and breakfast - I didn’t like that they stuck a tip value in front of me and the only ppl there were the owners why they needed to be tipped bothered me for they were paid and breakfast was good but no option
- Allan (10/5): The Best!! - Beautiful, well run!
Breakfast the best!!
- Todd (10/5): - Beautiful property and great location. Very friendly hosts and excellent breakfasts. Comfortable bed and especially enjoyed waking up to the birdsong and viewing numerous birds outside the bay window in the blue room.
- Clara (10/5): - Lovely setting , very restful after a week of travelling.
- sean (10/5): My Stay at The Inn at Buck Hollow Farm - A beautiful oasis in the hill country near Fairfax, Vermont. Relaxing surroundings and the house and accommodations are beautiful and clean and spacious. The common room is very large and there are outside places to sit and relax. There are only four rooms, so it can’t really get crowded.
The hosts are generous and kind.
- susan (10/5): - Brad and Jackie were great. Very peaceful and relaxing and good food, snacks and coffee. Cute room and great shower. Perfect all the way around . Thank you !
- Frances (10/5): - Beautiful country landscape! The inn is charming clean and cozy.
- Ben (10/5): - Very friendly nice breakfast
Beautiful location
- john (10/5): Buck Hollow - We enjoyed our overnight stay. The remoteness was part of the charm. The sunroom and porch were great to relax on. We enjoyed our breakfast and chatting with host Brad and other guests. Definately a great place to decompress from work and the always on mentality. Wish we had more time to learn about the many atniques on the property.
- Maureen (8/5): Very good -
- Valerie (10/5): Great Experience at the Inn at Buck Hollow Farm! - Breakfast was wonderful, they serve from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. Everything was made fresh, we had pancakes, French Toast and eggs on the three day stay. They had juice, fresh fruit and coffee. They also had coffee and snacks in the sunroom 24 hours a day. The Location was great. There is a gas station near by, St. Albans is about 11 miles north and Burlington was about 40 minutes away. There wasn't anything we didn't like. The roads are winding, but that is to be expected in the area!
- Guidry (9/5): Great - Would have enjoyed more protein, bacon and egg option-the space was lovely
- Brooke (10/5): Took a step away from the world and into relaxation! - The breakfast and company were great! The hosts had good local recommendations too. There was nothing that we didn't like!
- Nathaniel (10/5): - Really lovely and tranquil place, will stay again!
- Paul (7/5): Good - Definitely secluded - great breakfast- Could hear people in the other rooms. Decorations from two different periods.
- Debra (8/5): Very good -
- Ron (10/5): - Great Bed & Breakfast! Highly recommend!
- Phil (8/5): One of our favorite stays on the trip - Great breakfast of oat cakes.
Beautiful location with the leaves just starting.
Great local pizza My gps had a difficult time getting to the inn!
- Gregory (9/5): Good Place for a stay - Location is ok, some road noise during rush hours. The host was very good at describing the grounds. Very nice "COMMON AREA" for guests. Building was well kept up. Breakfast could be kept a little warmer before serving. Heavier drapes would cut down some of the road noise. Guests should be alerted about pets on property in case someone has problems with animals.
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Frederic (10/5): - a lovely discovery.
- Janelle (10/5): Inn at Buck Hollow - Everything was wonderful especially the breakfast!
- Peter (9/5): The hosts make you stay special with thoughtful additions like the sun room and tea / coffee available - Relaxed atmosphere in rural surroundings- everything you would hope for from a family b&b
- Texeira (7/5): Good - Very pretty area and location are perfect. Owners so very nice and loved their little facts about Vermont and the area. Wonderful breakfasts cooked by owners. A little dated. Some nice mums or fall decor would have added to the coziness of the fall vibe we travelled to that area for.
- Howard (8/5): - We liked that it was out in the country but close enough to areas that we wanted to visit. Our host was great and very helpful. It was the perfect place to spend a couple nights as we explored Vermont
- Thomas (9/5): Superb - the breakfasts were filling and delicous all good
- Kendra (10/5): - It was quaint, quiet, and our hosts’ were friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful property and wonderful experience. The breakfast was delicious. We walked the property and communed with nature. It was therapeutic and much needed, just what the doctor ordered. Thank you, Bob and Jacqueline.
- Neil (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was delicious and the bed was comfortable...
- Fredrick (9/5): I’ll will definitely stay in touch - Outstanding breakfast, the location was good after finally arriving,
Owner operators were personally 100 on track. I will book here again if ever back in VT-15. Nothing, From A-Z all ends of the spectrum are covered
They have got it all together even recommended us to evening establishments
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (10/5): It was a lovely perfect stay - Everything was clean and comfortable , the hosts were wonderful Nothing
- Ricarda (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet, clean and very comfortable beds! Simple room but plenty of space in common room and outside sitting area. Hosts put a lot of consideration about what guests may need.
- Marie (9/5): Superb - Beautiful setting , nestled in the lovely rolling hills of Vermont. Breakfast was delicious and we had rich conversations with the other guests.
- David (10/5): Happy to have traveled a bit to stay elsewhere than the city. - Secluded and hosts are very thoughtful and accommodating Liked it all
- Ralph (8/5): Beautiful place to stay. Best pancakes ever!!!! - Mountains love the mountains in Vermont
Looking for Morris the moose. Really. Would have been nicer if the plugs had usb plugs. With thier outlets. The only thing We didn’t like was we forgot our usb plugs..
Our fault. No the owner's.
- Patricia (10/5): - Owners were wonderful. Great space to relax and enjoy the area
- Rita (10/5): A wonderful anniversary weekend! TY soo much! - Wonderful host, the bed super comfy and great shower head!
All the amenities were wonderful!
GREAT breakfast!
easy check in and out! Pool area needs a bit touch up
- linda (10/5): - Wonderful breakfast. Great hosts. And wonderful amenities.
- Brenda (8/5): The Inn was very close to my family (5 miles) enjoyed very much the breakfast gathering. - I loved the bed, comfortable. I loved having a private deck and I loved being able to meet and talk with the hosts ss well as meet people from different parts of the country and also a family from Germany. Although the bed was comfortable, the sheets did not smell clean.
The fact that we had no internet because a router was unplugged was disappointing.
The TV as well did not work. I did not bother complaining about either until the morning.
- Jennifer (10/5): - I loved Jackie’s personal connection. She spent time talking with us during checkin sharing details about the property and area. The room we stayed in has so many beautiful antiques and was so comfortable. The personal veranda outside our room was so lovely to sit on in the evening and with a cup of tea/coffee in the morning.
- Tammie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peggy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (10/5): - Beautiful bed n breakfast with amazjng hosts!
- Kelley (10/5): Peaceful retreat in beautiful countryside - The surroundings are so beautiful! The hosts are friendly and welcoming. I hope to return!
- marie (10/5): - Lovely property and our was very pleasant. Only suggestion would be to add grab bar in the bathtub.
- Cynthia (10/5): Mimi and Granddaughter Getaway - The room was very clean and comfortable. The host were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Incredible attention to detail - Brad and Jackie are perfect hosts. Property is unique and welcoming. Incredible attention to detail everywhere.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly host. Beautiful historic home.
- Karl (9/5): Superb - Exactly the place I wanted to stay in out of the way corner of Vermont. The location was quiet and had a very pleasant view. Inside was very charming and very comfortable. Felt very much at home during our stay.
- Thormodur (9/5): Great place in an amazing location. - Great B&B with amazing hosts. Clean and comfortable. The location was also good for us with the calmness of the farm but still near local interests. The only thing we can recommend is to have a better sleeping accommodation for our child/teenager. We thought there would be an extra bed but were provided with a mattress on the floor and it was not comfortable.
- Karl T (10/5): - I came up just to ski at Jay Peak and get away for two nights. The surrounding area is beautiful and so is the property itself. The house and property are gorgeous, the rooms are super cozy and the common areas have some great snacks and drinks for people staying there- it's like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting. The included breakfast that I had on the second morning (left too early on the first) was delicious, and the couple who run the place were super friendly and accomodating. They gave me some great recommendations while I was in the area and I loved every minute of my stay there! Highly recommend!
- Alex (8/5): Nice - The room was nice and comfortable, very warm too. It was super quiet at night. Loved the vintage feel of the room. Wish med that check-in could have been virtual since we arrived around 7pm and it was hard to get into the house plus no cell service in the area. The owner insisted that we see them the next day (i usually leave quietly early in the day and just leave the key in the door). A bit overpriced given that coffee, breakfast, snacks were at an extra charge.
- Hunter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucas (8/5): Very good - Great owners, breakfast, location, decoration, comfort, sun room etc Some of the amenities being unavailable (Hot Tub and Sauna).
- Sergiy (10/5): it was amazing - all is good but TV is kind of fancy tv has two remotes and very badly performed
- Brian (10/5): A Dream Property - Real home cooked breakfast that was different every morning even though we stayed five nights. It felt like a true old-fashioned bed and breakfast. Quiet rooms with lots of sunshine. Surrounded by 400 acres of farmland and maple forest.
- Michael (8/5): Charming old farmhouse - The small talk at breakfast time with all the other guests was really a highlight of our stay No WiFi, TV didn’t work, quite a bit of dust in our bathroom
- Nancy (10/5): - The hosts were amazing and so welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful. Would return for sure!
- Prakash (9/5): Superb -
- Deborah A (10/5): - Beautiful views from the property, Room very clean, lots of windows for natural lighting. Shower had extremely good pressure. Breakfast was delicious. Owners were friendly and so pleasant. They were a great resource for the history in the area. Would recommend and would return in the future.
- Heather (10/5): - The owners were great!! Great breakfasts made by the owner, Jacquie. Delicious! Easy access even after hours. Very quaint, gorgeous place! Would highly recommend!
- Larry (9/5): The Inn is charming and the breakfast is excellent. The owners were very helpful. - Homey feel Commodes too low
- Thomas (10/5): Wonderful - Inn was fantastic Very rustic but clean . Incredible juice with breakfast It did smell a little musty in the hallways
- Roger (10/5): A lovey, relaxing stay! - A very comfortable & relaxed stay. Very welcoming hosts who gave lots of info re local area & where to eat etc.
Breakfasts were very good! All good
- Cochran (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfasts-cooling was fantastic. Inn is scenic? Quiet, peaceful. Fellow guests interesting and friendly. Polite. Hosts were unassuming and gracious. Location is remote, with pluses (quiet, peaceful, scenic) and minuses (restaurants and activities require a drive).
- Bonnie (10/5): - the property was immaculate. the inn was so interesting with all sorts of unique antiques. the hosts were exactly the kind of people to be sponsering a B&B. Also, Jackie is a great breakfast maker! Will definately go back.
- Gayle (8/5): - Lack of WiFi a real problem. Not just at the inn. I’m the whole area. GPS does not work. Hard to get around.
- Angela (10/5): - It’s was a lovely home. Breakfast was delicious! Comfy bed too!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not as expected - Dark unlit room with very little space. Light breakfast. Owner used the frozen waffle bag as an ice pack on her injured dog.
- Jérôme (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (9/5): Classic Vermont inn - Absolutely amazing owners and amazing furry children as well. Super helpful, and the best vegan pancakes I can remember!
- James (5/5): Owners are very rigid, very impersonal. - I did not have a chance to stay The owners were not very considerate of a costumer mistake. My booking was off by one day and they gave me no consideration for a refund of a cancellation fee when I showed up one day early and had to leave to find other accommodations because my booking date was one day off.
- Cox (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
