• Dave (7/5): Nice apartment. - Nice apartment, great location, the amenities were nice. There was no tea towel provided, whilst there were supplies for dish washing there was no cleaning spray, the crockery was frankly a mess, mismatched, not two similar glasses, and cutlery was flimsy (forks bent when being used) and insufficient for more than 4 people.

• Paul (3/5): Better value elsewhere. - Location The knives in the kitchen are blunt and useless,the non sick cookware should have been replaced years ago.we had to buy dishwasher tablets as you don’t provide enough.There are SIX coat hangers for three bedrooms,the toilet paper is transparent and one of the bathrooms is a death trap.The torn carpet is a major trip hazard.

• Grace (2/5): Overall, the experience was disappointing and not what we expected. - The pool was nice, peaceful and good views. Parking was extremely limited, especially for larger vehicles. You need to arrive early to secure a space that you can easily get in and out of. The room we were given was old and dirty. There’s a difference between something simply being old and it being poorly maintained, and this unfortunately felt like the latter. We were also given the wrong room, and none of the photos on the listing matched the room we received, including the room configuration. I emailed to request a room change but never received a response. I also tried calling the landline several times, but it rang out each time with no answer. There was also no notice about building works. Construction was taking place in the room next to the entrance, and loud machinery could be heard throughout the day. My husband was in the area for surgery and needed a quiet, clean place to rest and recover, which unfortunately we did not receive. The pool area also had no pool towels available for guests. We had to use one of the room towels instead so we didn’t have to walk back through the building while wet, as requested on their signs.

• Amanda (8/5): Great for a short stay, near local shops and right on the river. - Great location, we had our own bicycles so having the path at the front door was great. Garage door handle was very hard to turn, had to get my stronger husband to do it. I think it needs adjusting, otherwise we were happy with our stay.

Great value for money! The kitchen and bedding were clean. I was disappointed on arrival to see thick black mould everywhere on the inside vents of the aircon. I cleaned it immediately. Also the couch was not suitable for 6 people as it only seated 4-5 people.

Booking.com did not say in the advertisement that there was no lift. I have difficulty with steps and we were on the third floor. A little inconvenient.

The spa was cold! Parking was a bit difficult as there was a large 4WD with a boat parked inside the gate so maybe just restrictions on what can be inside the gate

The balcony was also covered in sand and bird droppings, which made it unpleasant to use. Overall, the apartment felt unclean and poorly maintained, and not up to standard for the price paid. • Mahia (9/5): Relaxed, enjoyable time with family. - The location was superb, across the road from lovely little, and popular beaches. Easy walks to fish and chips and a convenience store. A little further were pubs and resturants and supermarkets. Lovely walk to the little island, longer walk to the Sunday markets to stretch your legs. Kitchen was well equipped, beds lovely and comfy, great linens. Ground floor had lovely little views, nice having access to the patio from the primary bedroom. Great having a lockup garage though we parked my little Holden Barina in it and didn't attempt to put the Navara twin cab in. Aircon was great, ground floor was easy access for the oldies and a lovely big bathroom with walk-in shower was perfect for them too. Loved all the fly and security screens. We bought a fan because the primary bedroom fan had only two speeds, super slow and super fast and noisy lol. A middle speed would be great! Everything else was perfect! Would stay again.
• Melissa (7/5): Ok. - Location was good, central to Sunshine Plaza, quieter end at Picnic Point. Nice walking paths along the waterway. Car parking was an issue, garages unable to accommodate SUV vehicles, carports (only 3 spaces) being used by smaller cars + a moped. The boat was problematic when manoeuvring around the property. Floor of the apartment was greasy on arrival, we had to wipe over the tiles to remove the residue.

• Tara (5/5): Beautiful place - Loved the room and space we had it was amazing, good little views. would be back with the whole family. didn't see any staff but the one lady that helped me with the lock box may have been staff, she was lovely. extra toilet paper that was in cupboard was mouldy. the second night of our stay I think there may have been new people next door, they wrote a nasty letter and popped in under our door about slamming doors? we had not slammed anything we weren't even there all day, but it was very rude and not needed when on a holiday.

I would stay there again because - The location of the property was brilliant We arrived on a Saturday and our bedroom configuration was wrong we went to reception 3 times between Saturday and Sunday and know one was ever there to get it changed for us. We phone the number at reception and left a message know one came back to us till Monday. When the guy that managers the place came and knocked on our door on Monday he said can’t we just push the singles together to make a double. I said I would like them to make it as a double bed. I thought they could of handled this better especially considering we had have two nights with the wrong configuration.

The view over the River was pleasant and the lady managing this property was friendly, helpful and easy to deal with It was very dated and very tired. It needs a thorough deep clean throughout. The fed whole reasonably comfortable needs cups or felt under the feet to stop it sliding across the floor. It did not bear good resemblance to the photos at all. It was very disappointing to find that the spa was not operational until three days after our arrival. In the kitchen… the oven was not working ( we tried to use it on our last evening), the bottom drawer under the kitchen cabinet needs a sign saying that it’s not a draw! When I attempted to open it the front fell off and landed on my toe… making it bleed. Not a serious injury but… nevertheless it is a Heakth and Safety issue. We washed our sheets and towels after 5 days as there didn’t seem to be arrangements to refresh during an 11night stay. We made the best of it but feel that for more than $2,800 we should have had a much nicer apartment.

• Sarah (8/5): Great location. - It is in a great spot. The kids could go down to the river and go fishing. Loved the fact that it had a washing machine and dryer, with 5 of us that was great. They just need to double check the single bed rooms as the mirror in one room had 2 clear stickers on it and in the other one there were what appeared to be dirty finger smear on the quilt. But the rest of the unit was great.

Won’t go back! - It was in a good location The night we arrived the TV didn’t work and when I called the number on the check in desk, the man that took the call was very rude - telling me there was nothing he could do about it now, he doesn’t live at the property! He also told me to take the TV from the bedroom into the lounge room - the TV was attached to the wall!!! Also booked a three bedroom apartment with a double bed in two of the rooms and we got one double and four singles, when I queried it I was told none of the three bedroom units have two double beds. Shame! That’s not what the ad says!!!
• Arriann (7/5): Great location - Location was perfect. Right on the water, next to park and close to shops and restaurants. Very quiet location. Unit was clean and comfy with room enough for all 6 of us, which is rare. The only negative was the garage was a very tight fit, but with parking out the front it wasn’t a massive issue.
• Craig (9/5): A lovely ground floor unit with beautiful views - The position was lovely, the views beautiful and very quiet. We enjoyed being on the ground floor. It would have been easier ( for us) if it was in close walking distance to cafe and shops

Every apartment has river views. The apartment was comfortable and spacious. I would highly recommend this for a relaxing holiday on Sunshine Coast. Also walking distance to the Sunshine Plaza. Traffic on arrival on back road.

Watching all the birds arriving In the evening to roost in the trees was amazing... Cormorants, Lorikeets, White Herons... We really enjoyed the activity at the boat ramp across from us. Picnic Point is a real hive of activity of the leisure kind.. Four level apartment block with stairs only access. We were on the second floor and managed fine but at our age, the top floor would have been too much.
• Lisa (9/5): Highly recommend this Accommodation - Welcomed by the happiest loveliest lady, being on the ground floor next to the pool was so great for tge kids. The river view was stunning. So clean and comfortable. Could watch Netflix on the TV Thought there was a spa pool from the photos but it just did bubbles and not heat.

I had to go looking for the information folder that the letter with my keys mentioned. I feel that if it was left on the table or the bench it would have been a lot easier to find

It was also so convenient to have the two apartments connected via a vestibule which made the two apartments feel more like one. The ensuite toilet in Apartment 14 had a leak in the tap at the wall. It needed to be turned off unless refilling the toilet or it would leak throughout the ensuite.

• Amy (1/5): ROOM #15 AVOID AT ALL COSTS! MANAGER IS DISRESPECTFUL & OLD SCHOOL - The location & the location only. My family & I came & stayed here over a weekend get away as we travelled from down south. On our 2nd day there, i contacted the number given to see if we could access the rooftop patio. I was told no. Algood, that's fine. In this instance i thought it was the perfect opportunity to let the person on the phone who was dealing with our booking know about some of the issues we come across so far while in our room, which as paying customers is valid. These were some of them... The out dated room infested with ants. The lack of sugar & coffee amenities for guests staying for more than one night. The strong gross poo smells coming from the bathroom drains, literally smelt like someone had taken a crap & left it, it stunk out the main bedroom. FOUL! The warm pool, after spending our days in the scorching sun we didn't expect to come back to swim in a warm pool! Literally felt like taking a warm bath. There are no lifts to the top floors, so be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs with your lugguage if you're in the upper levels. The fact that there are gaps in the windows, which restricts them from entirely closing, no blinds or curtains to stop the bright sunlight from entering the main bedroom & lounge area in the morning (net curtains only) no remote for the main bedroom TV. One air con unit in the entire apartment. The list goes on unfortunately Back to the person i dealt with on the phone about these issues. He stated he would pass these on to the "manager- linda" & if the manager could come around to address them. I specifically said no it wasn't a good time, we were out & about & that we were due to checkout the next morning so I'll let them know in an email & also will be writting a review to let others who may want to book here in the future so they're aware of these issues. The man on the phone got very defensive & started to be rude with an attitude. He eneded the call.
• Nicholas (9/5): Home away from home - The room was spacious and had everything for home awa from home and the private upstairs terrace with spa was amazing and so relaxing A few draws in the main bedroom.weren't clean still had some hair from a shaver or brush in it

• Sara (10/5): The pros and cons ! - Fabulous location. Very family friendly. Very comfortable for 2 adults and a 3 year old and 8 year old. Air conditioned and cool in summer. The staff were very helpful we forgot an item in the room and they posted it back to us which was great! Thank you. Overall a pleasant stay and would stay there again. Just things to be mindful of :) We were in villa 1 which we felt was not an accurate representation of the photos advertised showing elevated views and we were on the floor level. So that was an initial disappointment but we carried on with our life. An elevated apartment would have meants no lifts, so we were happy to have no steps to go up and down multiple times a day. To note also the garage is very, very tight and there are what I assume are storage hooks on the garage walls which my daughter injured herself on when getting out of the car.

• sarah (4/5): Very tired apartment, not well maintained at all. - The layout of the apartment is good, it's spacious however its very old, lots of damage and fans don't work, Mould on curtains, skirtings rotten and overall has a feeling of not being completely clean. Carpet is wrinkled and all the doors and handles are jammed. it needs a full renovation. Location is good, close to the boat ramp.
• Roanna (8/5): Very good - Excellent location. Close to everything you need. Tidy place, if a bit dated, which was expected for the value. Grounds and pool well maintained. Back bed rooms look over a busy road which is noisy. We purchased earplugs to counter this issue.

Stove top was only just working very hard to cook a egg.Not enough toilet paper for a family of 6.Shower screen was broken and hair drier was dangerous. And it really needs a detailed clean was very disappointing condition. Was very loud traffic .
• Nicole (8/5): Great location with beautiful views! - Great location with beautiful views. Convenient to restaurants, shops, river and beaches. Bathrooms need an update. Bedrooms at rear very hot as air conditioning did not reach that far and traffic noise high if windows were opened.

• Prue (7/5): Good - The location was good The stairs and no lift. The main bedroom bed would have to be the hardest I have ever slept on, and we left a day early cause I couldn't stay another night in that bed.
• Holly (6/5): The location made the stay - The location was amazing, very quiet. Parking was hard to get, the apartment was outdated in the fact that the toaster was so small we couldn’t fit a slice of bread in it, the lights were so lack luster you had to basically have all the lights on to see in the kitchen, the bedding was filthy and we had to strip the bed to wash it because it had big orange stains on it, the shower head in the ensuite was black with mould, the shower in the main bathroom was filthy and the shower screen was broken, there was no instructions on how to use the oven and it was stupid to try and figure out, the door in the ensuite couldn’t close due to the swelling from water damage and also had no lock in the door. My son was struck in the head by ice being thrown by other guests or residents into the pool and when my husband complained was told there was nothing you could do about the situation so safety of your guests is obviously not important. This wrecked our whole stay and we didn’t want to get back in the pool again as we were afraid for our sons safety.
