• Hugo (10/5): Very good choice of stay ! - Amazing food, clean and neat rooms, vierge view is amazing, very calm. No conditionner in the room.
• estelle (10/5): - Nice and small hotel with only 10 rooms with its own diving center. Breakfast was good. Friendly Staff Massage was awesome. Dive Master au top and all other Staff as well. Nice snorkelling spot with very nice corals, sea turtles and sea snakes everyday. 2hrs drive from tagbilaran or getafe ferry pier. Would definitly recommend it for family but no with young kids or with people that cannot clim stairs. The hotel is located on a cliff = Amazing view. No beach at all so not a good place if you are not diving. Need to jump in the sea to get on the boat for diving. Food was ok but could be improved specially the pizzas which all taste the same.

• Michael & Susanne (9/5): Ruhiges kleines familiär geführtes Traum- Resort - Das Resort liegt direkt an der Steilküste und bietet einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Die Anlage ist schön grün mit vielen Palmen und angenehm ruhig. Unser Zimmer lag vorne am Kliff mit Balkon zum Meer und war sehr geräumig. Das Personal war super freundlich und hat alle Wünsche, wenn möglich, erfüllt. Das à la carte Frühstück war gut und bot alles was man brauchte. Das Essen im Restaurant war von guter Qualität und der Preis angemessen. Im Wasser vor dem Resort tummeln sich mehrere große Meeresschildkröten, die man auch als Schnorchler gut sehen kann. Es gibt auch kleinere Korallenansammlungen und dort auch ein paar Fische. In der Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und es gibt keine Läden oder Cafés die westlichen Standards entsprechen. Der Strand in Anda ist toll und fast nur von Einheimischen besucht. Wer Ruhe sucht und den fehlenden Strand im Resort nicht braucht, ist hier genau richtig. Tipp: Motorbike im Resort mieten und die Umgebung erkunden. Die Straßen sind nicht zu voll und, wenn man vorsichtig fährt, problemlos befahrbar. Beim Einstieg ins Meer über die Felsentreppe wäre etwas zum Festhalten sehr hilfreich. Bei Wellengang ist es teilweise schwierig ins Wasser oder aus dem Wasser zu kommen. Ein Geländer wäre gut. Ein paar Kleingkeiten in unserem Bungalow am Kliff, die man aufgrund des Preises aber problemlos verschmerzen konnte: Klimaanlage schaffte die Raumgröße nicht und kühlte bestenfalls auf ca. 25 Grad herunter. Der Toilettendeckel war lose und es lief etwas Wasser beim Spülen heraus.

• Kaleva (9/5): Great place if you want to go somewhere quiet for diving - I came here to go diving and that was excellent. Well organised, lots of dive sites near by. The room was large and comfortable. Pool was nice. Food was generally good. The staff were helpful with everything. Perhaps too quiet, but that could be ideal for some. The on site restaurant was closed by 9pm.

Verzorgde plek Geweldige snorkelpek, m'n voor de groene zeeschildpad! Behulpzaame liveguard. Koraal is ook mooi. Om het perfect te maken zouden er lekkere chili stoelen en of hangmat moeten zijn op het balkon En een gezellig leeslampje

Lo mejor de filipinas si lo que queréis es hacer snorkel. Jardín muy bonito. Se come bien y barato. Personal muy amable. Todo me gustó, si bien deberían dar una manita de pintura por las habitaciones.

• Klaus (8/5): Ein super tolles Taucher Beach Resort mit einem sehr gutem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis - Das Blue Star Dive Resort ist für Personen die in erster Linie auf Tauchen Wert legen perfekt. Wer Luxus und ein neues Resort möchte, sollte weiter suchen. Die Tauchbasis ist sehr gut organisiert, super Guides, immer aufmerksam und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Die Tauchplätze sind sozusagen vor der Haustüre, leicht zu erreichen und sehr abwechslungsreich mit tollen Korallengärten, Steilwänden und auch Sandflächen, die alle viel Interessantes zu bieten haben. Die Ocean view Bungalos sind zwar schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber dafür sind die Sonnenuntergänge top. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Man kann zu günstigen Preisen ala Carte essen. Von asiatischen Essen bis hin zu Schnitzen und Cordon Bleu gibt es alles. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Die ganze Anlage wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Einen Sandstrand gibt es leider nicht. Da die Anlage an einer Steilküste gebaut ist muss man viele Treppen laufen um in den Ocean zu gelangen. Wir haben es sportlich gesehen. Auch für Schnorchelbegeisterte ist es ein Paradies Sehr empfehlenswert! Das Frühstück ist bei längerem Aufenthalt etwas eintönig. War für uns aber nicht weiter schlimm.

• Schneider (9/5): Beautiful Property - Loved the beautiful grounds and pool area. Out of town a ways but was always able to flag down a tuk-tuk or trike. Didn’t realize that we couldn’t get snorkel gear after about 8 in the morning as everyone was out guiding diving tours.

• Linda (10/5): The best place to stay and dive in Anda. - Big comfortable room, verandah overlooking the ocean. Nice choice of breakfast options. Great dive crew who bent above and beyond and amazing dive sites. Reception were amazing with organising transfers and tours. My second time here and it was as good as first time around. Nothing.
• Dorothea (10/5): Zum Tauchen/Schnorcheln und für kleine Ausflüge BESTENS GEEIGNET - Der Empfang am späten Abend war freundlich und das Personal um unser Wohlbefinden sehr bemüht. Das Resort liegt auf der Klippe . Aus unserem großen und ansprechend eingerichteten Reetdach-Bungalow hatten wir einen fantastischen Ausblick. - Frühstück und Mittagssnack/Abendessen sehr lecker - Schnorcheln direkt am Fuße der Treppe 😊 mit viiiilen Fischen und Turtles ein besonderes Erlebnis - Tauchtouren mit den super engagierten Guides der hauseigenen Tauchschule und dem hauseigenen Boot einfach nur GENIAL - Schnorchler durften mit auf die Tauchtouren und aufgrund des eigenem Schnorchelguides waren es Ausflüge ins Paradies Der Einstieg ins Meer erfordert ein bisschen Geschicklichkeit . Die Treppe zum Strand ist optisch sehr schön, aber in die Jahre gekommen / aufgrund der unregelmäßige Stufen muss man etwas aufpassen

• Stefan (5/5): Ok, aber mittelmässig. - Gute Lage, aber kein Strand vorhanden, schwieriger Einstieg zum Schnorcheln am Hausriff. Der Schnorchel Ausflug beschränkte sich auf zwei Spots, einer davon war das Hausriff welches auch ohne Boot erreichbar ist. Der Preis war höher als anderswo wo vier verschiedene Plätze angefahren werden. Die Hotelanlage und die Zimmer scheinen etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein.

Making my kids feel loved and celebrating. The reef right in front is beautiful and the chef is incredible. Honestly the best food we have had in the Philippines. It was so hot when we stayed we wished the restaurant had air conditioning, but this is not a deal breaker.

• Barbara (10/5): Kleines Paradies - Sowohl das Resort als auch das Dive Center waren für uns ein rundum angenehmes und unvergessliches Erlebnis. Obwohl wir Taifun-bedingt später als geplant angereist sind, wurden sowohl Shuttle als auch der Aufenthalt sehr umsichtig und mit großer Freundlichkeit angepasst. Bei den Tauchausflügen wurden wir rundum gut betreut, das Equipment war gut. Die Aufmerksamkeit und der Humor der Jungs sorgte für erlebnisreiche, lustige Fun- Dives. Auch Ausflüge und Fahrten ins Umland wurden sehr zuverlässig organisiert. Der Einstieg ins Meer ist bei Niedrigwasser nicht ganz einfach.

My time at Blue Star was truly memorable, and I can't recommend it enough, especially if you love being in the water! Snorkeling Paradise If you are a snorkeling enthusiast, this is absolutely the place for you. The resort boasts one of the best snorkeling spots I have ever seen right in front of the property. It is an amazing underwater world that is well worth the stay all by itself! While our first night included some unexpected late-night activity from guests in the unit above—a gentle reminder of the resort's popularity—the staff handled it with speed and care. The very next morning, the team quickly moved us to a second-level room. This led to another small opportunity for them to show off their service when we found the air conditioning needed a quick check. Instead of just fixing it, they went above and beyond and upgraded us to a fantastic ocean view bungalow standard! This final room was the perfect finish to our trip, featuring an excellent view overlooking the ocean. The resort staff were attentive and responsive, ensuring our stay ended on a high note in a truly spectacular setting. • Jaybie (9/5): - Excellent resort for diving in Anda. Quiet location for a diving escape. The property embraces its natural landscape. The boat for the dive trips broke down several times and, because of that, we couldn't go to the father sites so we ended up diving on a site more than once. Although, the diving itself was exceptional and did not mind diving the same sites, it would have been nice to just have further sites as an option.

• MIKU (6/5): 静かでゆったり過ごせる。 - プライベートビーチは干潮時に潮溜りになり、息子は磯遊びで色んな生き物を見つけて楽しんでいました。シュノーケリングでは4回もウミガメに出会いました。なかなか出会えない珍しい種類の魚げたくさんいます。珊瑚礁も美しいです。スタッフは息子のために魚を捕まえてくれたり、ライフジャケットを貸してくれたりとても親切でした。レストランもお手頃で色んな種類がありとても美味しかったです。３泊し、一歩も宿から出なくても飽きずに過ごせました。 部屋でのWi-Fiはほとんど繋がらなかったです。 それだけが本当に不便でした。そこが解消されたら満点だと思います。
• Martine (8/5): Zeer comfortabel hotel direct aan een prachtige snorkelplek. - Mooi resort aan zee met heerlijk zwembad. Zeer comfortabel bed, hele grote kamer en balkon en heerlijk warme douche. Je kan direct snorkelen voor het hotel, erg mooi rif. Duiken relatief duur voor de Filipijnen (50 euro per duik, elders 25 tot 30 euro) dus dat hebben we toch maar niet gedaan. Avondeten was 1 avond zeer goed, tweede avond gewone kwaliteit. Prijs van het duiken en informatie/interesse bij de duikschool.
• Claudia (8/5): - Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals war einmalig, jegliche Extrawünsche wurden versucht umzusetzen, die angegliederte Tauchbasis war ebenfalls super. Die angefahrenen Tauchspots waren super schön. Tauchwünsche (Höhlen-/, Nachttauchen) wurden pronto erfüllt, auch wenn man alleine ist. Das ein Baden/Schnorcheln vorm Hotel so doll zeitlich reglementiert wurde. Ab 17 Uhr durfte man am hauseigenen Strand nicht mehr ins Wasser gehen, also abends Schnorcheln/Baden mit Lampe ist nicht möglich, man muss zu einem anderen Strand, der aber nicht fussläufig zu erreichen ist. Auch bei stärkeren Wellen hat das Hotel entschieden, ob man ins Wasser darf.
• Carola (9/5): Ruhige Unterkunft an der Steilküste - Leider konnten wir während unseres Aufenthaltes aufgrund von Stürmen nicht schnorcheln, weshalb wir eigentlich hergekommen sind. Nichtsdestotrotz hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt - fürs Wetter kann ja bekanntlich die Unterkunft nichts und die Stürme betrafen einen Großteil der Visayas. Wir hatten einen schönen und sehr sauberen Bungalow in einem Garten, nur wenige Schritte zum Restaurant, was an der Steilküste gelegen ist. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen im Restaurant abwechsungsreich (zweimal pro Woche wird Pizza in einem Holzofen gebacken). Da das Hotel etwas abgelegen ist, würde ich die Miete eines Rollers empfehlen, wenn man nicht ausschließlich zum Tauchen da ist. Möglichkeiten zum Geld abheben gibt es in Anda Stadt, ungefähr eine Viertelstunde mit dem Roller entfernt. Wir sind mit dem Roller an einem Tag in die Berge gefahren und haben dort so gut wie keine anderen Touristen, dafür aber wunderschöne Reisterrassen und Landschaften gesehen Das Wetter;) - wie schon geschrieben, hat das natürlich nichts mit der Unterkunft zu tun; mir fällt nichts Negatives ein

• Michiel (9/5): Een aanrader voor de Filippijnen/Bohol! - Van de hotels die we tijdens onze rondreis door de Filippijnen hebben geboekt was dit wel het meest fijne hotel. Het is misschien wat ver weg van de luchthaven (2 uur rijden), maar daarvoor wordt je goed beloond. Prima ruime kamers, gastvrij behulpzaam personeel, goed eten en een ruime menukaart en een lekker zwembad met jacuzzi met uitzicht op zee. De absolute plus is het koraalrif dat voor de deur ligt, absoluut een van de mooiste riffen die ik ooit heb gezien qua koraal (niet aangetast of verkleurd), vergeleken met bijvoorbeeld Bonaire en Malediven, waar je heel mooi kunt snorkelen als er niet teveel wind staat met een 100% kans om schildpadden te zien. Misschien iets minder qua vissen die je ziet (wel zeeslang, octopus), maar je hebt zelfs de kans om een walvishaai te zien die langs het rif trekt. Trekpleisters, zoals de chocolate hills liggen op een dik uur rijden van het hotel. De afstand tot de luchthaven, maar zoals gezegd maakt de locatie, vriendelijkheid van het personeel en het eten dat ruimschoots goed.

The bath and pool towels are very old and worn out. The resort is lovely, but these small details make it feel like there could be better options elsewhere. A general refresh could really improve the experience.

Staff were very friendly and really did all they could to make our stay really memorable. Food was very good, everything freshly cooked for each meal. Despite it being rainy season diving was particularly good and Yam (divemaster) did a great job finding accessible dove sites each day. Incredible diving and superb staff at the dive centre. They really do everything for you apart from the dive itself!

• Julia (10/5): Blue Star Dive has the hardest working, kindest staff, and offer the best stay you could want. - Both my friend and I loved everything during our stay at Blue Star Resort, but I want to highlight two things. First, the facilities were clean, modern, and gave that sweet vacationy feel that lets you feel relaxed. Second, the staff. This was honestly the best part. The people who work there are so caring and kind and obviously take pride in their work. My friend and I did the 15 dive package they offer, with a couple fun dives (e.g. night dive). The divemasters were so accomodating, and obviously work really hard. They were also just fun and easy to chat with - not to mention great at what they do. We came in with a list of tons of marine animals we wanted to see, and we were constantly checking off things on our list (while adding things we didn't even know we wanted to see, that they found for us). If you are going to the Philippines, I cannot recommend Blue Star Dive enough. My friend and I are already planning our next trip back to this exact spot, it was that good. 10/10. That I had to leave! No seriously, I have no complaints.

On the specific date the rental company wanted to have the bike back much earlier than agreed. They told us we needed to pay an hole day extra if we wanted to have the bike longer. (+/- 3 hours) we agreed on this. Half an hour later the company came back and they needed to have the bike back… On checkout we asked the staff for the total balance we needed to pay. They gave us a number. Just before payment they gave us a lot of extra costs we needed to pay in cash extra. Scam hotel. - bad WiFi - Noting to do around the hotel - Not enough food choice

Overall the food was good, but our first meal for Valentine's dinner was underwhelming. The Prawn dish had one large prawn and one very small one. Not enough to be considered a main. Everything was underseasoned. They have a seafood pasta carbonara, the preparation is with evaporated milk so it had an offputting sweet taste.

Affordable luxury with a great and professional dive team!!! We also rented a scooter for a day and went to explore the rice terraces, Alicia Park, nearby village and some local beaches. Definitely Worth the drive from/ to the airport. (Resort provides shuttle) Excellent massage on the spot. Rakel was just perfect. She did the best deep tissue massage I had in Philippines within our 30 day trip. Restaurant food is good! Stuff is very friendly. Rooms are basic , very clean with comfortable beds. Quite a bit of choice of different TV channels. WI FI is weak in rooms, like most of Philippines. That we didn’t stay longer

We were awake in 3am because of some guest drunk and swimming in the pool .But the place was really good restaurant has good food.

Even wishes were accepted. The drivers for the trip and transport were really friendly as well. We had a great time. The access to the reef is not that easy and the hotel is quite far away from the next town or any restaurant. But with renting a tuctuc, it was possible to get there.

• Jan (8/5): Beautiful resort and professional dive centre - The resort is in a quiet location with beautiful gardens and sea views. The dive centre is great - I did my first/discovery scuba dive with Eleuterio. He was very professional and a gentle soul, putting me at ease. I also loved the pool! It has different depths to suit all ages/swimmers. The bathroom in Room 9 could be nicer and it would be a great addition to have a fitness centre/gym at the resort. The road going into the resort needs to be fixed! The middle of the road is missing at parts and one side of the steep part of the road could use a barrier - it is an accident waiting to happen for tricycles and motorbikes in particular. I was going to say the food was expensive but then I ate in other resorts/touristy spots and saw the price is quite standard for touristy places in Anda. There are much cheaper options in the town centre (Anda Food Park and Food Centre). If you plan to stay here, please bear in mind that the nearest convenience stores and restaurants are 5-7km away. It can be quite isolating if you do not rent a scooter or call for a tricycle. There are resorts closer and walkable to the town centre but they would definitely be noisier and less peaceful - I preferred the peace of Blue Star.
