Guest Reviews
- KUBINDA (8/5): - Friendly staff, very professional and courteous. Room was clean
- aracelly (8/5): - Netjes, fijn hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Wouldn’t recommend - I was booked for 3 nights but left on the first day. The walls were paper thin, I could hear my neighbours in the next room which was very uncomfortable. There were small specs of what I believed to be bloodstains on the bed which made me suspect bedbugs. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
- Shirley (4/5): - There is a branch of this hotel in every arrondisement so please be certain on which exact place you booked. I went to the wrong branch and I was kindly directed to the right branch and given guidance on tours. This gentleman was very kind and showed great customer service.
The neighbourhood was vibrant with great street art and easy access to transport links. When I arrived to the right branch, I was asked for a fee which was not explained for nor did I receive a receipt and I couldn't pay by card. I was permitted to go into the room as I had no euros. The receptionist held my suitcase the next day until I found a working ATM. This experience degrades the reputation of this hotel chain - hidden fees without explanation or receipts feel unprofessional.
The room itself was beautiful. Large windows, a working AC, excellent lighting, cool fridge and charging facilities with USB ports as well.
The bed was clean but sheets were ripped and instead of sewing alterations, it was tied up which was quite
unprofessional but it was very clean.
The desk space and bedside tables were very clean.
The floor of the bathroom had soap scum from the previous visit and the hand basin was dirty.
The paid breakfast in my room was a sweet gesture and the highlight of this visit. The gentleman who served it was kind and pleasant.
Tres propre. Largement suffisant pour un week-end à Paris
- Emmanuel (6/5): - Good location near the metro, and our family which was obviously important to us.
Helpful staff after just having my phone stolen...
- Marc (10/5): Tres bon petit hotel - Chambres petites mais fonctionnelles. Bon eclairage. Clim.
- Didier (10/5): Très satisfait.b - Très propre. Calme.
Badeværelset pænt stort, men ISKOLDT.
- Ansgar (10/5): - Perfekt.
- Édson Vinícius (6/5): - Quarto sujo, n limparam todo dia e nem trocaram as toalhas
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Prima prijs kwaliteit.
- Verified traveler (8/5): good stay - Basic but clean, close to the Metro Station, good for a one night stay
- Laura (10/5): - I was traveling alone so I stayed in a room with a twin sized bed and I definitely had enough space but I'm also not a very tall person so I'm not sure if the size of the bed would be sufficient for a taller person. The shower was great and the water was always warm with great pressure. The location was fantastic because it is just across the street from the Pyrenees metro station. I could get anywhere I need to go very easily. I would definitely stay here again on future trips to Paris.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Basic stay - Good basic hotel, clean and quiet. The problem was - bed. Very uncomfortable, covered in plastic mattress.
- Xavier (10/5): - Un très bon rapport qualité prix. Et à 50 m de la station de métro
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is next to metro station. It's clean and comfortable enough for a budget accommodation. Staff is kind and helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - alles gut in Stand und nette Rezeption, Zimmer sehr gross und blitzsauber
- JEAN (10/5): - Très bon rapport qualité prix. Accueil très agréable.
- Herman (8/5): Breakfast delivered to your room! - This room was small. Like a dorm room in college.
But did you get breakfast delivered to your dorm room every morning?! That's what this hotel does! Love it! A hot beverage of your choice (in this case, mine was hot chocolate), orange juice, a baguette, a croissant, plus butter, honey, and jam!!
The room itself was small, but adequate. It did have a mini-fridge, which I appreciated.
The bathroom was tiny. The shower floor - which did properly slope to allow for drainage - was flush with the rest of the bathroom floor, so it was tough trying to keep the rest of the floor dry when taking a shower. Sometimes, some water even seeped out into the main room.
The housekeeping could be improved. I was once left without any toilet paper. Another time - no towels.
- Roger (8/5): Reasonable Hotel - Not the most ‘chic’ of Paris suburbs, but good transport links with bus and Metro within 50 meters. Usual room and bathroom size for Paris )not large!) but acceptable. Walking distance to the beautiful Buttes Chamomt Parc. Good value.
- dalila (8/5): - bon accueil.proprete satisfaisante.Niveau de confort correct.Emplacement idéal pour moi.Seul bémol;absence d ascenseur.
- Matthias (10/5): Parfait!! - Parfait, très aimable, bon service!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Tolle Lage, nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, gutes, leckeres Frühstück
- Chen (6/5): Good room and service but poor noise separation - The service is nice and the room is good though a little small. However, I was inflicted by the noise. There is vertically no block of noise from other rooms. I can hear other people’s snoring. In my second night of stay, some bad-mannered people came to my next door and talked and laughed loudly from night to dawn. I couldn’t sleep for that night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Friendly and welcoming staff, located directly opposite the metro.
- Ondrej (6/5): Close to metro station - Roome are bit small but clean .Metro before Hotel.
- Anthony (10/5): Good value budget hotel in Paris - My 4-night stay was pleasant. Staff speak English. The room for a single person was spacious and clean with air and private bathroom. They gave me a room in the back which was very quiet. They bring your continental French breakfast into your room each morning. The location was convenient to line 11 (Pyrénées station) and stores/bars/restaurants within walking distance. The only little downside is there is no lift or elevator which can be a problem for someone with heavy luggage or have knee problems. Other than that, the price I paid was reasonable and I will definitely stay here again when in Paris.
- R.T (6/5): - Normal.Hotel’s staff”madame”is not good to Asian people.She don’t like Asian.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Ok - Hmmm very hard to make a comment here. I like how close the hotel is to the metro stop (10 sec walk), but the hotel is no where close to anywhere worth visiting. I go to Paris all the time so it’s ok for me, but if you’re there for touristy places, stay within 1-9arr. Unless you want to take a metro to everywhere, Paris is a city so lovely to just walk everywhere. Other than location, this hotel is pretty good, basic but good.
Frukosten enkel men god.
- Brian (8/5): Good budget option - This basic hotel is clean and comfortable. The management were friendly and welcoming as were the staff. This is not luxury, but it does represent good value in a handy location. The rooms are small (but not tiny) and basically furnished and everything works. The €5 breakfast (bread, croissant, jam & honey, tea/coffee, juice) is adequate without being special. It's convenience, right outside Pyrenees metro station (use exit 2), adds to its value. I would happily stay there again.
Lit trop petit.
Personnel accueillant et serviable. Merci.
- Cathy (8/5): Nice hotel - Decent and clean with a 24 hour staff, this hotel is great for the price. It is close to the subway station and many eateries so you have your pick of what you want to try and where you want to go. The immediate neighborhood is a little grimier than normal, but if you walk a few streets over, you get into nicer and much more residential backdrops as well as the absolute gorgeous Butte Chaumount Park.
The staff are very nice and will help you with any questions you might have and the breakfast was very filling and delicious for something so simple as bread and orange juice. The single room is small and the walls are bit thin (I can hear my neighbor snoring through them), but they are quiet and everything you need after a day of walking around. The only real issue was the bed as it might be harder to sleep on than I use to, but other than that it was a nice stay.
- Marie (10/5): Very nice hotel - Very comfortable room in handy location. Very pleased about breakfast being served in room!
- Magali (8/5): Très bon petit hôtel - Très bon petit hôtel dans Paris. Refait récemment. Bonne literie.
- Samuel (8/5): Great Staff & Location - The staff here is very friendly and always ready to help! I just stayed one night in Paris and had no idea how to find my way around, but they were really helpful. My only complaints were about the room itself. It was very small and the hotel is a little sketchy to navigate through at night. The hallway lights were left off and the staircases were tricky to climb in the dark. The walls of my room were also very thin. I could hear everything going on in the next room over. Still, it was very clean, tidy, and next to a very quiet alley. It is a budget place after all. It's also in a great location; just a couple of quick train rides to famous Paris destinations. This place is great for a trip to Paris on a budget.
- Christophe (10/5): A conseiller - Excellent acceuil. Tres bon emplacement. Chambres bien equipées. Tres bin rappirt prux/prestration
Bon petit dejeuner....
A recommander donc...
- Paul (10/5): Great, straightforward hotel. - Nice hotel, good value, friendly and helpful staff, very clean, delicious breakfast (possibly the best coffee I've ever drunk), metro station right outside so easy access to all of Paris. Would definitely stay again.
- Angel-Alexander (8/5): Convenient and Cosy - friendly staff. Great transport links and plenty of local bars and restaurants. Only downside was not being able to take the room key out of the building.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean room, helpful staff. Good cheap place to stay
- Karel (8/5): - Nice hotel in dirty area. No air conditioning so you will have to leave the windows open at night but can be noisy. Over all service was great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a quick one-night stay at Les Pyrenees. The owners/managers were exceedingly friendly and helpful. We certainly would stay again if we are looking for an inexpensive, comfortable option in Paris.
- Dominique (8/5): Hotel des Pyrènèes - Clean room, friendly stuff ,practical , quiet in the evening. Good location
- MARTINE (8/5): Enjoyable stay in Pyrenees hotel - Friendly place, clean fresh room in a nice and lively neighborhood. Will go back with pleasure.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful Stay - I had a wonderful stay, location was very convenient right next to the metro , very quiet secure hotel, younger receptionist went out of her way to help me find the quickest bus route to somewhere I had to go, owners were very friendly, outstanding service.lots of shops, restaurants nearby , very good value.
- Alex (8/5): Very good choice - It was easy to get the hotel, from the airport Charles De Gaulle vía RER-Metro. When we arrived there, it was a pleasure to be received for a nice person, who was friendly and kind. There were no elevator but our room was on the second floor, just one floor upstair. The room was not big, but was bigger than other hotel rooms I stayed before in Paris, and at a better rate. The breakfast was not abundant but they brought it to the room each morning, we bought cheese and ham in a grocery store close to the hotel and completed it. It was cheaper. Beds were clean and comfortable. There were no noise at night. There were hot water in the shower and the toilet was clean.
- Jessie (8/5): Excellent location, good price - Worth considering for its location directly in front of the Pyrenees metro stop in the cool Belleville neighborhood. The price was very good. The room and bathroom were small, as is expected for Paris. Bonus: first-floor room meant no hauling luggage up stairs. Just a few things to keep in mind: the WiFi was extremely spotty and frustrating in our room, although it worked fine in the lobby or standing outside, if you don't mind that. If you need Internet access infrequently, it's sufficient, but if you're traveling on business and want reliable, strong WiFi, think twice. Also, the woman at the front desk during the day was helpful and spoke fluent English, but the night and early morning staff were incompetent (couldn't figure out how to work the credit-card machine, etc.) and spoke nearly no English.
