Pleasantly surprised! - We stayed in Family Room #7, which includes one double bed and a set of bunk beds—more than enough space for four adults. The snack lounge was exceptionally well stocked with snacks, breakfast items, coffee, and tea. The thoughtful touches really stood out, from extra toiletries to the mini business center, small library, games, and even a donation bin. This is an ideal spot if you prefer to bring and prepare your own meals to save on dining costs. It’s clear that guest comfort and experience are a top priority here. We also felt completely at ease leaving our skis on the hitch-mounted rack of our car, parked right outside the room. Highly recommend—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

• John (10/5): Favorite Place to Stay to Ski in Vermont - The location and the motel were excellent for our stay. We enjoyed our stay and the fact they were dog friendly helped a lot. We were so pleased with the motel we are coming back next year in February to ski in Vermont with our dogs.

The snack lounge had more variety than expected and we appreciated the books and games. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was warm and consistent. The room temperature was difficult to control. The overhead light was also dim.

• Brenda (9/5): We enjoyed a very nice stay at the Brittany Motel! - Our room at the Brittany Motel was cheerfully bright, clean and comfortable. There was no staff on site but they provided clear instructions by text message for checking in. The code for unlocking the door was the last 4 digits of my phone number, so easy to remember! The hosts thoughtfully provided a snack room filled with things like peanut butter crackers, beef sticks, granola bars and candy as well as a refrigerator stocked with fresh milk, orange juice, cheese sticks, and fresh fruit. Guests can help themselves for free! If not for a statewide burn ban, we could have made s’mores over an outdoor fire! nothing

Lots of space to relax, and free snacks! Comfortable futniture. One bathroom was not updated and looked unclean due to stained bathtub. Also, the room was marked differently compared to others on-site and we had people try to come in three times. One from a car service wanting to leave their business card and the other two were other guests thinking this was the front desk. The directions for the room did not describe that you had to open one door to get to another. Also said there was two bedrooms, and really it was two beds, one was a common room. The description also didn't mention that the bedrooms were upstairs, and not accessible on the main level.

• Vicky (8/5): A cute cabin in a rural setting with a great view. - This motel was rustic and although set out of town a little was lovely and quiet and rural. It was small but had everything you would need including an iron and board. Some so called flash ones don’t have them. Communication was excellent and although entry was by a code it didn’t feel isolated. There was also a free snack shed where you could top up supplies etc. the price was also reasonable for the area. Easy parking but you have to take the car to town. Not walking distance. Was a little too rustic?

I loved the ease of having the code for the door match my phone number, so it was easy to remember and I didn't have to keep track of a key. The view and the location are amazing, the room was unique, clean, adorable and comfortable. The shower was great. The Snack Lounge was fun- we played board games out of there at night. Highly recommend. Nothing!

There were holes in the drapes. The pictures of the room looked nicer than the actual room. The snack room did not appear welcoming. I had to look for coffee cups, only one left in the room.

• Sara (10/5): - We loved our stay at the Brittany Motel. We stayed 3 nights in the suite with our two little dogs. We loved that they had their own fenced in area. The whole apartment was spotless from top to bottom. The big smart TV and ‘rec room’ with Ms PAC Man and fussball was u fun unexpected touch! It had everything we needed and we felt right at home. Communication was excellent. The communal snack room had all sorts of tasty treats that were very appreciated. One thing to note is nothing is within walking distance but the town center is only a 10 minute drive. We loved it and can’t wait to check out their other properties.

Compared to other area prices, it was great — everything you need in a motel that you won’t be spending a lot of time in. Snacks were available but not the usual sodas and chips. Can’t really comment on staff as I never saw anyone. I did receive friendly, welcoming texts.

• Oliveira (8/5): Great Motel - We loved the snack lounge! Great variety of foods and drinks. The room was a good size and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. The bathroom sink in our room (#5) did not drain well. Within 10-15 seconds, it filled with water. Hard to wash your face in that time. Also, the curtains over the air conditioner are too long. So you either need to leave the curtains open overnight or else have them cover the a/c and block some of the air.

The room was simple but clean and comfortable. It had a mini fridge and coffee station. The air conditioner is quite loud just because it is a window mounted type. I would have liked it to have a softer touch like a pillow top.

• Cecilia (9/5): Memorable and wonderful experience - highly recommended - The Brittany Motel truly stood out as a highlight of our 150-day road trip across the US. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful amenity of the 24-hour snack bar, which was generously stocked with a variety of items ranging from fresh fruits like bananas, oranges, and apples to convenient options such as cereals, Campbell's soups, instant cup noodles, and a selection of beverages. The self-service access to fresh towels, tissues, and toilet rolls in the snack room added to the convenience. Furthermore, the check-in and check-out processes were exceptionally easy and efficient. The quiet and cozy ambiance of the motel made our 9-night stay feel remarkably like home, and having a table with two chairs in the room was a welcome addition for enjoying meals. Overall, our experience was the best we had during our extensive travels. The only drawbacks we encountered were the discrepancy regarding the advertised continental breakfast, which was not available upon request, and the mattress in our room being a bit too soft for my personal liking. Despite the mattress firmness, the peaceful and cozy atmosphere ensured that I still enjoyed good quality sleep.

• Tricia (10/5): - Cute clean little place. Just what I was looking for for a quick overnight while passing through the area. I prefer motels like this because I like having easy direct access to the fresh air outside and my nearby car. They have self check-in and the information provided in advance was very thorough and helpful. The locks were a bit fussy and everything has to line up just right to unlock/lock properly, so be aware of this and try patiently a few times making sure the deadbolt is in correct alignment. Really enjoyed my stay and will return.

• Kirsten (10/5): Best little motel and friendly owners! - Terrific motel to stay at with pup and kiddo! Owners were lovely and offered a free “Snack Lounge” with good coffee and breakfast type foods. Quick access to the beautiful town of Manchester (5 min drive). The motel had a nice area for a camp fire with comfy chairs and even provided a fenced in dog run in the back. We will be back!

• David (10/5): - The Brittany from the road appears to be like any other strip motel built in the 1960s or 1970s. As I pulled into the parking lot I had my "reservations." Pun intended. So I was very pleasantly surprised to find a totally updated room that was spacious and comfortable.
• Andrew (10/5): - The Brittany is a quaint, quiet, comfy motel. Easy self service check in, clean and cozy room and plenty of communication via text from the management. The Snack Lounge has all the basic needs for travelers (and then some!). I immediately felt at home.
• Helen (8/5): - Brittany is basically bare bones, an updated motel. But the extras, especially the friendliness and helpfulness of the “team” running the place, make it a pleasure. Also beds are really comfortable.
• Yekaterina (10/5): - Wonderful stay always. My kids love bunk beds and room with twin bed. Lots of snacks in snack lounge. Very peaceful property with beautiful views.

The view of the mountains was stunning. Nice grounds. Great value for the price. Walls were a little thin so I could hear my neighbor’s t.v.
• JUDITH (10/5): - The Motel was very inviting and very quiet. Loved the easy access to the room and ease of taking dog outside. Didn't love the location - Travelocity said it was 9.57 miles from Stratton Mountain - the drive was actually 33 minutes. Breakfast was exceptionally light (toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit) with no orange juice on the last morning. The good far outweighed the bad - the bed was super comfy and the water pressure in the shower outstanding.

• Brian (8/5): - Room was clean and check-in process (self-service) was really easy. Bed was fine… not the most comfortable but certainly could have been worse. Included breakfast was pretty limited but if you were willing to get creative it worked out fine. Overall a decent value for the area, would stay again.
