- constance (9/5): Affordable rooms for the treaveler who is there to attend other activities for the bulk of the day. - Blue Stone is a family owned basic property which has the benefits since removed from larger more expensive properties such as a microwave and fridge. Beds are comfortable, there is hot water, and wifi. I did not have t pay for a pool or health club that I did not have time to use. Location is great with decent affordable food close by. The property is showing its age, but everything worked and it was clean and quiet. Wwhen you go to Hamvention you are not looking for a spa. You want a decent bed, hot water, and wifi at a reasonable cost and this fits perfectly. We go every year since Hamvention moved from Hara.
- Brown (1/5): Don’t stay here, please take your business elsewhere - Bed bugs, room was infested with them. They were coming out of the walls near the electric outlets. We left immediately Smelled bad, tons of people smoking weed in the parking lot, the reception area reeked of stale garbage

The only two things that are close to ok about here is it’s Cheap (why it’s so gross) with cable and it’s quiet at night and in morning…I can only add photos that would scare people so no pix…

- Tina (1/5): - The price was the lowest in the area. They refused to give me the room I booked online. I have a service dog, but I was told that they wouldn't allow me to bring him inside unless I was blind or in a wheelchair. I have Multiple Sclerosis but I'm not in a wheelchair yet. What good would it do me to argue that the Americans With Disabilities Act makes it illegal to deny me a room because of my service dog? Would I feel warm and welcomed after winning the argument? No, I wouldn't. It was humiliating, but I left without making a scene.

- Memory (4/5): Not as good as I expected - There was a hole in the door of the bathroom. The heater/ac unit did not work. There was mold on the floor below the 2nd bed. Bathroom was still dirty from people before.

Place was full of "characters", pretty much a place if your really down on your luck or if you dont have many options. The only good was the AC was cold and the shower wasnt to bad. Wouldn't recommend if you have the funds

Staff was rude, I requested 2 King beds smoking room, staff told me no and gave me 1 bed. Staff accused me of leaving the room messy, which I did not. Proceeded to not let me stay another night.

Breakfast was non-existent.
Room was fairly clean but dead bolt didn't work. Furniture in poor condition. TV didn't work.

- Carson (1/5): Bad - It was close to where I needed to be The employees didn't know what they were doing. I reserved a king bed room. Took them 3 times to get me into the correct room. First they gave me the key to someone else's room. Then to a double queen and then finally into the room I reserved. It wasn't the cleanest, had evidence of bed bugs. The lights were basically non-existent

- Frances (1/5): Bad - I liked nothing about it. I had a confirmation reservation number for queen or king, no smoking. When I showed him my confirmation, he would not honor it. He offered a twin bed in the back, and it was a smoking room. He was rude and nasty. After requesting him to honor my reservation with my confirmation number, he told me to get out and said he has nothing available now. Afterwards,I remember a couple leaving as I arrived. They had a look on there face and made me wonder if the owner was just as rude and nasty to them. Unfortunately I will never do business with your servicenor the hotel. I feel this company should have a better and higher class of hotel to offer customers. This hotel was clearly a 1 - to 2-hour motel for the ladies of the night. I'm was very disappointed in the hotel and this site for recommending thus hotel. The picture on the website does not come close to how it really looks. False advertising.

- Janice (4/5): - Property is very run down and not in good condition. There are quite of few people living in the rooms, sitting in the doorways and smoking. Front windows of units were very dirty/cloudy and the curtains were falling apart and sagging. Surfaces had been wet-wiped and were very smeared. Baseboards were missing in several areas. Bathroom floor was not clean. The manager on duty was not very pleasant. I would definitely tell people that they should not stay there.

- Patrisha (2/5): - The website says pet friendly and when you get there a big sign says no pets allowed but the still take your bank card information and when I asked for my room the guy working said he gave my room to someone else but I could have a different I never paid for so and he refused my service dog and it put me and my dog in the car at 11 pm at night in 20 degree weather

Holes in the doors to the bathroom. I asked for non smoking got a smoking room. Bed frame wasn't even put together right kept making weird noises every time I move. Cigarette holes in the bedding. Staff at check in seemed annoyed I had a booking.

It is a Dump !! our curtains had so many holes my wife had to use a hair clip and arrange them so all the holes were in one place then she clipped them closed. Fake drawers, front fell off. The place is setup more for locals to stay on a weekly or monthly basis, it is not setup for folks on travel or want to stay for a few days. No amenities at all, could not go in the office at any time had to deal through a window. This place is terrible DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!

We discovered holes in the bedspread and the sheets when we went to bed. Did not ask for any new sheets or anything as it was late and we just wanted to sleep.
- Bryon (2/5): Roaches beware! - The 4 o’clock 430 got up to get some water out of the fridge raider and I noticed there were roaches running across the top of fridge raider so I ran quickly to get my phone and take pictures in the bed sheets were horrible to cigarette burns in the she look like paint on the sheet covers they just have to do better. I stay here before and I thought give them another chance and I did it this time but won’t stay here again, the room looks pretty clean but you didn’t know behind pictures and refrigerators and things like that you don’t know what’s behind there.

Then turned me away because I had a service dog and refuse me service! told me that the service animal had to be for a physical condition not a mental condition I said it was for epilepsy she said well that’s the brain it’s mental and turned me away!!

Air coming out of the conditioner smelled weird. Front desk manager was just weird. Made me feel uncomfortable. When I can to return the key there was no staff. I had to wait for the desk manager to return from a coffee run to check out.

Was over charged. Not at all worth the $ that it cost. The owner was VERY rude. Down right very disappointed. My advice is dont waste your money if looking for a good comfortable night of quiet sleep.
