- Yumiko (1/5): - This was the worst hotel experience in my life. I had two major issues: 1. My deposit was not refunded 2. A suspicious driver was arranged 【1) Deposit not refunded】 I paid a $200 deposit at check-in. I was told it would be refunded in a few days, but I did not receive it even after more than two weeks. I contacted the hotel through Booking.com messages and email, but there was no response. After contacting Booking.com, the hotel finally replied and said “we should have already refunded it,” but this was not true. Later, they told me they could not process the refund without the physical card. I still do not understand this explanation, and no proper reason was given. In the end, I received the refund via e-transfer. Even if this was not intentional and was caused by a system issue or a mistake by the staff, they should have clearly explained it and properly apologized. I believe that if I had not followed up multiple times, I might not have received my money. Their explanation and apology were not sufficient. 【2) Suspicious driver】 I asked the front desk to call a taxi early in the morning for my flight. However, the person who came was not a proper taxi driver, but a suspicious man in a regular car. I felt something was wrong, so I went back to the front desk and asked again if he was really a taxi driver. The staff confirmed that he was. Based on that, I got in the car. However, there was no taxi sign or meter, and he asked for $100 (the normal price is around $15–20). He did not seem to be going to the airport, and his behavior made me very uncomfortable. He made inappropriate comments and even touched me. I felt it was a dangerous situation. I managed to return to the hotel by telling him I forgot my wallet. After I explained the situation, the staff apologized and called a proper taxi. I am not sure if the hotel was involved in this situation, but there are many things that do not make sense.

- Jerry (1/5): The dirty linens and fights in the hallway make this budget stay not worth it. - Location was good Cigarette burns in bedding, stains on sheets and towels. Excessive noise after 10pm. Fighting happening in the hallways in the night. Heater was stuck on high so room was at 30 degrees.

The room had a coffee pot, microwave and fridge but you had to ask for cups & coffee. The bathroom was dirty. The sheets were clean but the blanket and bedspread were stained. The room was VERY cold. I was provided a space heater to use at night to stay warm. The room door had a big gap at the bottom.

- jolenem50 (10/5): Amazing customer service! - After a brief stay at this hotel my parents checked out and were headed home. Unfortunately, shortly after leaving, they were in a motor vehicle accident. Their car was totalled. After transport by ambulance and being checked out at hospital, my folks were left with non life threatening injuries including some broken bones. They had no vehicle or access to the their belongings and are far from home. They have returned to the hotel for a couple of nights until they can fly home. As they had no car, my parents were going to walk to the pharmacy for pain medication. The front desk attendant, Promise was very kind and picked up the medication for my parents! There is one elevator and the back stairs. It didn't feel that safe. This could be a great location, but the place is due for an overhaul.

- James (2/5): Very basic but there should be better for this price. - Good location. Walkable to most of central Whitehorse. Room was not clean, especially the bathroom. Uncomfortable beds, terribly flat pillows, everything felt very old and stale. When we arrived in the room, there was a pair of black underwear draped over the floor lamp. How could the cleaners not notice this?! Just like they couldn’t notice that the bathroom floor was filthy.

The ceiling was dirty. The customer service was not good. They overcharge my credit card which I’m still trying to deal with.

- Jiang (2/5): - I had an unfortunate experience with the front desk during my stay. Upon checking out, I was told that the security hold on my credit card would be released within 9 days. However, the charge remained on my card well past that time. When I reached out to the front desk for assistance, they insisted that the hold had already been cleared, but refused to offer any help in resolving the issue. To make matters worse, the staff blamed me for not understanding the situation and hung up on me twice. This lack of professionalism and poor customer service left me extremely frustrated. Additionally, at check-in, they failed to provide the same type of room that I had booked. I had requested a room with two beds, but they only had a room with one bed available. As a result, my friend had to sleep on a sofa bed, which was uncomfortable. This was a huge inconvenience and added to the overall disappointing experience.

Ao chegar no hotel me foi entregue um quarto que não correspondia a reserva realizada. Quarto com paredes sujas, ar condicionado quebrado, sem ventilador, sem chaleira elétrica e microondas, itens que constavam informados na descrição. Somente fui trocada de quarto após exigir tal fato, e ainda assim, disseram que estavam me dando upgrade de quarto. Na reserva realizada dizia ter café da manhã incluído no preço final e ao chegar lá, não havia café da manhã e a única justificativa foi "não servimos café". Somente presumo receber o estorno do valor equivalente através do contato de reclamações com o Booking. Péssimo ambiente. Um entra e sai de pessoas de diferentes níveis. Cheiro de esgoto no andar da recepção. O serviço de limpeza e arrumação do quarto não era executado diariamente, mesmo colocando a placa de que não havia ninguém no quarto. Amenidades de banho não existiam como sabonete para tomar banho. Quarto apertado e não possuía lugares para guardar suas roupas, pois o gaveteiro estava sujo.

The property itself is pretty dingy and has seen better days. Old, grungy linens, hair stuck to shower wall and a really gross shower curtain. Broken lamps with liquid-stained lamp shades. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff were polite enough.

Dude felt so bad about the issue that I felt bad for him.. Room was generally clean, had fridge, microwave and hotplate. Just needs a refresh. Towels were old but clean. Floor was swept but not mopped. Room was warm but had small A/C. Sheets were washed but stained. Comforter had dog hair but didn't stink. OK overall, especially for the price in Whitehorse.

Convenient location downtown ($ 20 by taxi from airport) While the rooms and decor are quite "dated", everything is very clean - and the price is right. (Cleanliness being more important than style for me) Bed was comfy and room was quiet, so just right after a long day of travel and arriving around midnight. Rooms have a fridge and dining table/chairs Fast food /take out very close by.

The lobby bathroom was disgusting. I was told that they usually don't rent the rooms in the basement but we're full so I guess they decided to milk every last dime they could?

Realmente uma experiencia muito ruim. Nao é um hotel para turistas. É um hotel barato para mao de obra local. Nao recomendo.

- Ashley (2/5): Beware and book elsewhere. - Bring house shoes if you plan on staying here. The property is run down, outdated, and only superficially cleaned at best. The front desk attendant seemed far more interested in her phone conversation than in welcoming my family. I would never have booked this hotel had I known what to expect. Upon check-in, we were met with at least 15 posted rules that made it clear the hotel is often used for drugs, parties, and late-night activity. Outside, a sign even read “staff carry guns” — unsettling, to say the least. The parking lot foot traffic made us uneasy about even leaving our vehicle there. Save yourself the stress and spend the extra $10–$20 to stay somewhere else. Beware.

- Judy (4/5): - You get what you pay for. It was the cheapest place to stay. There were alcohol bottles under our beds. The floor was sticky. The shower head had black mold on it. We waited for 2 hours to get extra blankets. We got a sheet and duvet cover for the extra blankets. We needed a blow dryer but were told they were all being used and didn’t have any more.
- Ernest (4/5): - After spending 24 days in camp and three more days traveling, I booked a room with a king bed through Expedia. My confirmation clearly stated a king bed. When I arrived, I checked in, dropped off my luggage, and went out to run errands (haircut, shopping, dropping off my truck for service). Later, when I returned to the hotel room, I realized the bed was actually a queen. When I went to the front desk to ask about the king bed, I was told, “We don’t have any.” I didn’t mind that the hotel showed its age. I didn’t mind the few unfortunate people outside the building, or even the one lingering in the hall on the third floor. But after 24 days in camp, not getting the king bed I specifically booked and confirmed was disappointing.

The sheets had hair on them and the look of them was so bad that I actually went to the store and purchased our own bed in a bag so that we could sleep there!! I get that you “get what you pay for” but there is no reason for dirt!!! Clean up your hotel people!!!!
- Suneet (1/5): Very poor, would not recommend to any family. - They had a guy at the front desk who was trying his best to be nice to guests while managing a facility that seems to be crumbling to the ground. I felt sorry for the number of times and the wide range of issues he had to apologize to guests for one complaint after another. He did try to go out of the way to help make our stay bearable, but that is a Herculean task for anyone. If you are looking for a family room, note that it is in the basement. Dark and dingy, no view whatsoever. And the hotel has made no effort to make the room bright and welcoming, especially since its in a basement. Only one light in the main room, and 2 small lamps (with lampshade) in the bedroom. The main reason we chose this hotel was because it was one of the few hotels in Whitehorse on booking.com that showed it served breakfast. On reaching we were told there is no breakfast on the premises. They refunded the amount (as they should), but if breakfast was out of the equation we wouldnt have selected the hotel in the first place. The entire floor on the basement has a weird odour which is not on the 2nd and 3rd floor. We attributed the odour to the restaurant in the building, but that doesn't explain why there isn't any on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The furniture is old and no effort has been made to polish or maintain it. The cushions on the chairs are stained with threads hanging from them. The beds in the master bedroom have iron fittings to hold the matress/box spring which poke out and are actual hazards for kids who may jump from the beds. The bathroom fittings are not shiny or maintained, the shower curtain has mold, and corners of the bathroom are dirty. We wanted a kitchen to heat the odd purchased dinner or make some eggs, but the condition of the crockery, the stove, the chimney and the overall room did not make us comfortable and we ended up eating breakfast outside everyday. The hotel shares facility with a couple of other businesses, one of which is a laundromat. Parking is always occupied by those customers, and the hotel offers customers to park in the back. The back is just a field of overgrown weeds and junk tossed around. Cleaning of the room is done on request. Would have been nice to be told that on arrival. Fresh towels are given only upon returning the used towels (LOL, never experienced that before).

- Angie (6/5): - The room we were given smelled of sewer backup so I requested a move. The nice lady came up and asked if she could just give us room fresheners. We declined and were promptly moved to a very clean room. Outside there were many people sitting on curbs watching us.
- Thomas (4/5): - Gute Lage wenn man sich auf einen Kanu Trip vorbereitet. Einkaufmöglichkeiten liegen in der Nähe. Die Reception ist 7/24 offen was auch eine Ankunft um 01:00 kein Problem ist. Die Sauberkeit und Ausstattung ist sehr tief und die letzte Renovation liegt schon sehr lange zurück. Das Personal ist passive, grüsst nicht und beachtet einen nicht wenn mein rein oder aus dem Hotel rausgeht. Die Zimmer auf die Strassenseite können auch in der Nacht laut werden. Ebenfalls wenn Hotelgäste in der Nacht ein oder Auschecken (23:00 - 01:00)

- Nattaya (8/5): - Ok room to stay overnight. We checked in late/early morning and the check in process took awhile. Room was a bit tiny with a king sized bed. Bathroom is clean except for scattered hair all over the tub and sink areas. Didn't realized how much it cost..not worth the money tbh. But overall good stay for a quick rest and shower. They were nice to let us check out at 12p instead of 11am. Thanks.
