- Blake W. (4/5): - Big rats all over the place. Charged for refill coffee at breakfast. The breakfast had old and cold eggs every morning. Place needs maintenance really bad.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Rat race hotel - There was no hot water, and there were rats daily near the pool. Even one rat was spotted in the dinning room. When I mentioned the rats to the staff, they replied that they were local rats. One staff worker said they were cute like like pets. However, the house cleaning staff were always pleasant and did a good job cleaning and preparing the room.

- patty (6/5): - The picture is different from the actual, maybe because the hotel is old, but its okay, The pool is under maintenance, but i think the pool is not working anymore. Hope they will inform the guest prio of booking that the pool is not available anymore. The staff is very accommodating, the free breakfast is good.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - The place is in good location walking distance to shopping mall, restaurants, bar, gift shop, hospital, banks and etc. But the cleanliness is terrible. One of the room where our friends stayed the aircondition has black mold on the filter its not being clean for years. I saw cockroaches, the bed cover is ripped off. The shower room is really dirty, shower curtain needs to be clean. I have not seen a place like that for a business. It is sad that place used to be a good and clean. Friends, my husband and myself decided to check out in our second day and we will not coming back.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - The photo of the pool on the website was very misleading. In reality it was dirty, very small with little or no sunlight and no room for sunbeds. I usually spend a lot of time relaxing by the pool. With this hotel not a chance! I feel mislead and robbed. Also the bed was terrible, when i complained i was asked to change rooms. I had already done this as the 1st room i was given smelt damp.

- Frank (4/5): - no elevators and no hot water. We were given a 3rd floor room and we have to climb 42 steps to reach our room. No hot water and we have to buy a portable water heater to heat up our shower water. Not recommended for senior citizens.

- Karl (8/5): Good hotel close to hospitals - A good budget alternative , we booked this hotel for family who needed to be close to the Davao Doctors Hospital. Rooms were clean & comfortable. No complaints
- Christopher (6/5): Philippines - Stop keeping birds in cages! - The hotel is exactly what you would expect for Philippines / the price. Philippines hotels tend to be tired and in need of renovation - this is no exception. The room was fine and reasonable value - a few small cockroaches in the bathroom, but nothing out of the ordinary. Breakfast was fine - served cold and the waitress should really write down the order - they never remember but they keep trying! Overall - no complaints - it's exactly what I thought it would be when I booked. Except.... two beautiful birds kept in a tiny cage next to the pool made me sad - all they have room to do is stand on a stick. All. Day. Long. Why do people insist on inflicting such torture on these beautiful animals - it seems to be so common in the Philippines. Just stop it! I anxiously await the day when we all stop thinking only of ourselves and start questioning the suffering that we are causing other living things.

- mai (2/5): Lots of coackroach, dirty beddings, worn out towe - Lots of cockroach in our bedroom very filthy, beddings were very dirty, towels were worn out, internet was slow as a snail, this hotel was the WORST we had to transfer to another asap!
- roggy (8/5): neglected and shabby - 90 percent of the staff were friendly and polite but the hotel could have been so much better it needed to be up dated and cleaner ,,the hotel foyer looked nice when you enter ,and dinning area ,i felt the staff didnt care much ,but near by restraunts were nice and burger bars all within 5 mins walk ,do not use the hotel for meals ,unless the breakfast is free. the pool needed to be cleaned and surrounding walls chairs ect a nice club opposit the mall is nice good music open air above a building ,beach about 45 mins away .cabs 40 pesos to start ,hospital very close ,jeepny 8 pesos ,but in all i it ok for the price i would go back there again .
- Melliza May (8/5): - Actually the hotel is just fine, staffs were all friendly. Except that they don't have elevator, well its okay but not for the seniors. And the booking says it has buffet breakfast, but unfortunately when we checked in, they say they no longer serve buffet breakfast. :(

- Charanjit (6/5): Not worth what u charged for a room. - I'll never recmmend to a friend. Air con was so noisy that vry next day I've to change my room. I changed my room but Acon was so noisy I could not sleep 1single nite peacefully. My room was on 3rd floor no escalator. Wi-Fi never work on 2nd & 3rd floor. I 've bog regret to book this hotel. - Verified traveler (4/5): Low price hotel, no room safety box - I thought this would be a romantic getaway based on the pictures on the website but the pool is really decoration only. the water is it strange green color and the tiles around the edge are dirty. The room carpet was very worn and had many spell stains but otherwise clean . There are no extra outlets for our phone chargers we had to find extra outlet behind the curtain behind the refrigerator .

- Mike (8/5): Surprisingly cozy downtown budget hotel with pool - Booked the bigger Junior Suite for 2 weeks, about P1700/day (with a 10% weekly discount). Super homey, nicely decorated room on 3rd floor facing the pool; enjoyed hanging out just at the hotel. Happily brought my guests there. Quite impressive buffet breakfast included in the room rate. Wifi worked both in the room and in the lobby, though it's often slow, as typical of the Philippines. The pool isn't deep but clean and cool and perfectly swimmable. Staff couldn't be friendlier. The occasional insect or rodent scurrying across the grounds, but that's almost inavoidable in a tropical climate. Found Hotel Galleria to be such great value for money that plan to make this my go-to hotel on future Davao visits.

- Barry (6/5): Needs to be renovated - Great staff and location (if you want to be in the middle of the city) however they have put little to no effort in maintaining and upgrading the rooms. The rooms are long overdue for a complete make over! Room was infested with ants , sink , toilet and shower all leaked . No attempt at all to remove or even hide the mold.

The room needs fixing especially the bathroom shower head and handle. Location is great within the city limits.
