The room was very clean, with tea and coffee available all the time, and they provided unlimited water every day. The food was very tasty, and we enjoyed our breakfast daily at the Lavender Restaurant while watching the beautiful sunrise view. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. I would especially like to mention Arbab, Saoud, Khin, and Zume—they always took great care of us.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, all the tables were reserved, but we requested a window table. The staff understood our request, and after a few minutes, when a couple left, Arbab, Khin , and Zune quickly cleared the table and kindly offered us the window seat. The food was very tasty, the service was superb, and the overall experience was excellent. We will definitely return again soon

There was a mix up with our room (the fault of ethiad airline) and another room was sorted out after a short wait. The room was very clean and the hotel is a short taxi from Corniche beach. The food options are excellent at the hotel.

- David-Dibs-Bishop (10/5): Great Stopover Hotel - I stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a stopover with Etihad and was very pleased with the selection. I have friends in Abu Dhabi so didn’t use the restaurant or many of the facilities but found the hotel well located in the Cornice. The only slight negative was a lack of parking when my friend collected or dropped me off. There was public paid for parking but spaces were few and far between. The staff were very friendly and efficient making check in a breeze. It was extremely noisy at night as there is a bar/club playing music onto the early hours so I would suggest ear plugs or similar. Having had long days I was able to sleep but would rate sleep quality as poor. That said the room/suite was lovely, plenty of room and well appointed. There was a fridge with water and tea and coffee facilities, a lounge area and a nice sized bed. My room didn’t have much of a view but given the limited time I spent there this wasn’t really a consideration. The hotel helped grab me a taxi to get me to the airport for my connection leaving a positive experience

You intend to hve a rest from the stressful week yet unable to sleep properly.. i regret staying in this hotel! please avoid this hotel as it does not live up to its famous brand

- MDUSER786 (10/5): Excellent stsy in Abu Dhabi - We had a great stay for two days in Abu Dhabi at the Hawthorn suites City Center in September 2025. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were very well set up. The restaurant on the 15th floor provided buffet meals which we enjoyed for breakfast and dinner during the two days. Though not included in the room rate the restaurant was reasonably priced and provided a great satisfying variety of items on the menu to make it value for money. Highly recommended .

- K643QAtg (2/5): Absolutely unacceptable — avoid this hotel, especially if you're booking through Etihad’s stopover program. - This place is a complete disgrace and should not be on Etihad’s vetted hotel list. If they’re paying to be there, that’s the only explanation because the service, staff, and overall experience were appalling! The hotel is noisy, worn down, and poorly maintained. The staff are shockingly unprofessional especially the so-called concierge Sartar and bellboy Mohammad Bilal. Completely incompetent, dismissive, and unwilling to take any responsibility when things go wrong. We booked a tour through the hotel, got dropped at a mall, and were then abandoned by the driver (Samseer) who gave us his number and never responded. Even mall security tried calling him —nothing. We had to get back on our own via Uber. Back at the hotel, the staff claimed they had “nothing to do with it” even though they booked it. Minutes later, that same driver showed up demanding payment. Still, no apology, no accountability. Outrageous. Also, torn bed linen, noise throughout the night, and zero respect for guests. Etihad — this reflects badly on you! I expected far better. This hotel has no business being associated with your brand.

The location is ideal too—right in the middle of Abu Dhabi, near the Corniche, and within a walking distance from the vibrant group of shops, cafes, and cultural hotspots. That made it a breeze to go around the city. From the moment we arrived to check in, the reception team had us off to an amazing stay. Alisha, Nadia, Maham, Fawad, Muhammad, and a couple of others received us not just with professionalism, but with actual warmth and politeness. Their eagerness to assist—be it with insider information on the area, considerate arrangements, or a bright smile—had us at ease from the very beginning. The vibe all throughout the hotel was serene and welcoming, with considerate details that count: easy check-in, spotless and airy rooms, and a staff that always went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. It's not often a hotel where hospitality is made to feel so intimate.

Only the Philippino Bar at the top made us wait for food for 2hrs then food turned very bad even to look at so the manager apologised and refunded us. If only that can be improved the hotel itself and the staff are welcoming and very lovely 😍

Good are for travel and there are some shops on other side and you walk to beach side which was superb. There are Sheraton hotel you can use Pool for extra 40$. Breakfast was superb

The only downside is the loud music from the nightclub near by, so when checking in try to get a room on a high floor, we never tried the restaurants in the hotel but plenty of choice.

The rooms are clean, spacious and well-equipped. An additional advantage is the tasty breakfasts. The hotel staff is very nice, my greatest thanks go to Mrs. Alisha - always extremely cordial and helpful.
- kouvoun (10/5): Excellent - Very pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean and everyone was very polite and respectful. The area of the hotel is great for sightseeing. We were able to visit most of the sights within 10 minutes by driving and the seaside is also only 10 minutes walk.
- Iftey (6/5): - The bathroom needs attention it smelt musty the whole 3 days I stayed. You need to wash the shower curtains they stink or replace them with glass panels. We had two bathrooms and one was out of use as it was giving out orange water so we couldn’t use this bathroom. The room smelt of cigarettes and music blasts from the bar till 2/3am. I wouldn’t stay here again. This is not for visitors who live in the west it’s more for south Asian country visitors and the hotel is full of them

When we check-in, Alisha upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost. Alisha, you have no idea how this gesture have made our day. After a long day of going back and forth from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, receiving this type of treatment is such a treat. All the staff, Ranshini, Maham and even the valet person always wear their smile and always ready to assist you. I will definitely stay again in this hotel.

- IK70 (2/5): Uncomfortable smell in rooms - The rooms smelled like a mix of industrial chemicals and cigarette smoke. Very uncomfortable. Reception was not able to help as hotel was full. We had to find another hotel in the middle of the night. Despite the fact that hotel could not provide the service as greed, we received zero refund. Claim to Mastercard has been made.

The housekeeping staff's attention to detail and pride in their work were evident throughout my stay. All the staff were very well trained and very humble to give us help whenever we needed. Located at a prime place, and ideal place for a short layover. The whole staff was very polite and eager to attend to any need,in particular Raushini and Rasha and especially Sattar was a real help in reccomending and booking local experiences also answering patient and very polite any questions we had. The hotel is convenient located near the Corniche Beach and not far from the bus station to Dubai and offers a great view. We enjoyed our stay and we would return happily anytime. - Rhodora (10/5): - Very conveniently located. Walkable distance to pretty much everything. 5 minutes walk to Corniche, restaurants and shopping. Budget friendly. Parking was a hassle because there is no parking at the hotel. Our options were either use the public pay parking or valet parking. Valet parking was quite cheap and effectient so we opted for valet parking. All the staff from front desk to housekeeping to concierge to restaurant upstairs were incredibly nice. Although I didn't feel, (but my wife mentioned that ) the music from 3rd floor restaurant was little too loud until after 3am (our room was on 5th floor). But overall we enjoyed the hotel. We will certainly stay here if we are in Abu Dhabi again.

We had a very pleasant welcome, the staff was friendly, we received all the necessary information at the reception. we felt as if we had arrived at some American Hawthorn hotel. the room was clean, and we evaluated the balcony positively. we only had a problem with the air conditioning, because it barely cooled the room. fortunately, it is not very hot in March or in Abu Dhabi, so the open balcony door solved everything.
