I didnt like the fact that the carvery serving dishes were so high as i am smaller in stature and found them difficult to manage as regards holding back the lids.

Most of all we found the service provided by staff exceptional right from check in at reception For a 4 star hotel, no additional toiletries like shampoo, shower caps or even a facecloth. No bathrobe or slippers or flip flops for the pool

- Paddy (5/5): An experience! - Easy access, just looking for a night sleep after a day hospital procedure! The room was ābareā, no A/C control except we discovered an electric fan in a cupboard!, no guest booklet giving any explanation except a barcode to scan with a smartphone camera ( we are in the late 70/ early 80!)
- Laura (5/5): Not bad.. but could be a lot better - Pool was great for kids- please bring swim hats as they charge 3 euro for one! Outside space was beautiful and safe for kids to run around with some places to play football and a playground. Breakfast is nice enough Food was not great at all, ice cream was rancid. We had to report it in case it made people sick. Staff seemed completely overwhelmed at times. For a 4 star hotel, you would expect some more little perks. Like literally no toiletries in the rooms, basic body wash and a hand wash and thatās it. No hand or body cream and worst of all no female hygiene products available even to purchase in the hotel.

The hotel was clean and beautiful, close to a lake. The timing of closure of the bar to have dinner. Too early to order at 08:45 maximum.

- Laurence (10/5): - I have had many previous enjoyable stays at Bloomfield and this time didn't disappoint. Lovely warm welcome at reception on arrival. Quick check in. Lovely comfortable room and a lovely welcome back gift of chocolates.
- Jason (9/5): Excellent staff and facilities - Staff all very friendly, breakfast was nice and the beds were comfortable. Good shower in the bathroom. The pool was really nice and we also used the gym which was also good The blinds on the windows did not stop the light getting into the room in the mornings so it was a bit annoying in the morning trying to sleep. Noisy wedding on at the time we stayed so a lot of drunk people making noise during the night.

- Britta (8/5): Lovely place but loud bedroom doors - Location was lovely. Reception staff was very friendly and interesting to talk to. It was busy with day visitors when O arrived in the evening but staff was still in good form. I was there only for 1 night and I didn't get a chance to try the spa. The only criticism I have is that the door fall into the lock very loudly. The door locking walk me up at 5am when somebody was leaving. Otherwise everything was very nice and pleasant.

The dinner was amazing and the breakfast buffet was well stocked. The leisure centre was fabulous. And the views over the lake... stunning! Really can't rate it highly enough The room was very warm but there was a fan in the room.

Our specific room has no view, it faced walls and air condition. The ventilation in the bathroom was way too loud. Maybe to was broken.

- Helen (10/5): - I loved every Especially the evening/ night bar and restaurant staff. Sunday morning/ afternoon young staff in bar not great chatters with customers when serving. Training needs improving from manager with young staff on how interact with customers! As that was something I highlighted to that member of bar staff today. I actually said he needs to pull up his socks and interact with the customer/customers when serving! He didn't even reply to me. Apparently customers were saying outside the bar hes like that since Friday! And that was the only thing that stood out to people. - Aaron (6/5): Not for us - The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet and a good temperature. Was happy with price i paid. Suitable for children. The wifi doesn't function properly. The tvs are not cabled so rely on the non functioning wifi - they wouldn't stream anything. Rang guest services who advised to connect to the corporate one which was worse. The food is mediocre, dont expect a nice dinner... its a sausage and chip job. Water pressure is very poor, so shower in turn is a dribble. I think my biggest issue is the hotel doesn't match how its presented in the photos. Almost looks like a rival for the likes of galgorm in the photos....I can promise its not!

It was very warm though and Bloomfield could do with air conditioning. We used the fan as we couldn't open the window due to Mayflies. Too warm, need to invest in air conditioning
- Paul (5/5): Friendly staff, nice room filthy and unworkable spa - Food, room and location good The clorine levels in the pool and Jacuzzi made my eyes very sore. It was reported and they said the chlorine levels were normal.. i stay in a lot of hotels and not experienced these levels before. Changing room for the pool were dirty and mold was growing on the back of the shower door I was using.. really dirty and unkempt. The only reason I booked the hotel was for the pool facilities. When we arrived were informed the stam room and sauna were not working... great why say they are on your website!! Issues were reported and the manager of the spa rang and was quite nice, however stated because she was female she couldnt go and check the male showers( well get someone who can) General manager was to ring me the next day - never did...I waited before doi, ng a review, now my patience has gone

- Obeirne (9/5): Enjoyed our stay , definitely a return visit in the future. - The efficiency of all the staff ! They couldnāt have been more accommodating. Regardless of how busy the hotel was ! Dinner/ breakfast the staff worked like a well oiled machine ! Location beside the Lough / walks etc. Excellent Some areas needed a lick of paint !

Everything else fantastic and exceptional. Just the pints at the bars. They were flat. Tasted off from the tap. The only ones tasted alright were the bottled version .

The distance from the wedding venue was a bit of a struggle and the availability of taxis was a problem. I know that is not the fault of the hotel. The hotel itself would be a brilliant venue for a wedding
