• Barbara (8/5): Appreciate Sammy and the place but because the bed is horrible I would never return. - The apartment is cozy I could do my workout on the patio The stove and microwave worked Washing machine worked The bed is absolutely awful. After trying to sleep the first night and not I move to the futon in the living room w all my bed pillows. I didn't sleep well at all throughout my stay. I am athletic and was diving so having proper sleep is a must.

• Tamika (5/5): - The place was beautiful, clean and as described. The host where friendly and accomondating since, I needed to leave early due to concerns. And the place is as it states you need transportation to get around or your hiring a taxi service daily. Its a bit of a ways out. Which i didn't mind, but later on in the week, became a problem. The stay was nice, but there was something in the plumbing or kitchen area that I could not escape. Some type of fumes even with the windows open. At times, I thought it was coming from the apartment below me and thier drainage, since i was on the second floor. Which was not my original room. I booked a one bedroom on the first, but was given the two bedroom on the second, with the second room locked. I didn't mind at first. But then my allergies to air pollutants where horrible, making for an uncomfortable experience. Then at one point the key to the front door was NOT working, trapping me in the house since its on the second floor and all the windows are barred. It was a very nerve wracking experience.

• NATHALIE (10/5): - The property is nestled on top of a beautiful hill with a stunning view from the wide balcony. The flat is in very good condition with a new and well-equipped kitchen. There was plenty of space for a family of 5. But you need a car. Public transport is not impossible but it’s tedious having to wait for 2 buses to get to St George’s. Other than that the host was very friendly and caring, giving us mangoes and other fruits from her garden. Thank you Yvonne, you made our stay memorable !

The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. A special mention to Yvonne, the owner, who was gracious and welcoming throughout our stay. She even went above and beyond by bringing us a lovely basket of fresh fruit from her garden. It truly made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend staying here!
• April (10/5): - This was such a beautiful property. It had all of the amenities we needed and had a beautiful view also. It offered a safe and quiet neighborhood but with some fantastic restaurants, shops and beds nearby. The proprietors of the villas were so kind and helpful to us. However, it was not conveniently located nor easily accessible to transportation or any dining areas. I expected that it not to be directly located on the main road however I did not expect it to be such a tedious walk up a few hills. There were no shops near by so if you needed anything you have to ensure to get it before heading in.

• Skultety (8/5): We’ll go back for a stay without a hurricane! - Our stay was one of shelter in a major hurricane. The hosts were very nice and accommodating for a last minute emergency booking. However, the weather impacted everything regarding power, water, wifi etc. I give this accommodation high marks for putting us in a room that protected our safety!

• Sian (4/5): The description on the website needs to be more accurate . - It was a large, light and airy apartment. It had a fully equipped kitchen. It had a nice balcony with plenty of outdoor furniture. The location. It was quite remote with a good 10 minute uphill walk to the main road. The description of the property on the website was not accurate. It stated that breakfast was available and a shuttle service. Simply not true. These were important factors for me as a solo traveller. I was concerned that there was no smoke alarm in the property even though it said there was in the description. When I raised my concerns with the owner he dismissed them. There was no safe available in the apartment; again it stated there was on the website.

Beautiful place, nice furniture and fittings, excellent bathroom, and a good range of appliances (washing macine, air con, dishwasher, microwave, cooking stove). Nice balcony. It's not really walkable - you will need car hire or be prepared for a hike to beach or eateries/bars.

• Bernadette (7/5): I had a pleasant stay at Woburn Villas. - The location of the property which is a fair distance from the main road, est 30-40min walk for non-residents who are not use to it, meant you needed a car (and preferably one that did not have a low body due to the uneven narrow rugged roads and hilly parts), in order to reach the main road and nearest shop to buy groceries, especially at night where there were hardly any street lights except around the property. However i can see why people would come back time and time again. the layout of the property itself was designed well, and the Owners had thought of everything you would need in a property, plus the view from the verandah/balcony was beautiful to sit and watch the world go by, so overall was a pleasant experience. WIFI was temperamental at times, however the Owner made every effort to sort out the issue as quickly as he could.

You will certainly enjoy the breathtaking view. One of the best kept secrets in Grenada. I am going back in a few months. Sammy is an excellent host. He is a treasure rich in Grenadian history, hospitality and made accommodation after having to extend my stay. There was nothing about the property that I did not like. It exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a place that was a taxie ride away to everything, without losing the quiet peaceful serenity I was seeking. I found everything I needed at Woburn Villas.

• Anonymous (10/5): My stay at Woburn Villas was amazing. - Property was clean,spacious and comfortable. Sammy and Yvonne were kind, friendly and helpful. If you want to explore and experience Grenada this is the place to stay. The people living in the area were friendly and we meet some great people. The area of Woburn is very safe. We came back late at night walking from the bus stop and we always felt safe, Property was a little way from Gran Anse and St George’s main town, however the there is bus that take you to town, bus stop is a short walk away if you don’t have a car.

• Christopher (9/5): Superb - We really liked the property and were sad to be staying only two nights. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious with lovely balcony, breezes and views. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and flexible with our leaving time. Our questions before our stay were answered promptly. The drive down to the car park was alarmingly steep even for Grenada, though once we knew our car could handle it all was ok. There would have been little space for turning around if the car park was full, but most people who stay probably don't have a vehicle (we were the only car during our stay).

But be carefull as they give you the room price in ES Dollars, but when you go to pay them, they tell you the figure they gave was actually in US Dollars. So you end up having to pay more than you agreed....

He even drove myself and daughter to get a bit to eat as it was late. the apartment was clean and tidy with a good view which we saw in the morning. Good WiFi (always a plus). we did wish we stayed longer than one night. My one and only comment here was that if you do not drive it might be an issue. (but Sammy i am sure will take care of that). However, if you wanted to have piece and tranquillity (chill/relaxing holiday) then yes, this is the place

I was very disappointed to find cockroaches in the bathroom which I showed to the owner. He did not seem bothered and seemed indifferent about it. Please clean up before renting out to people. • Maurice (4/5): - Overall this property is good for locals. Tourists? STAY AWAY! The property is well kept with a great view but far off the main road and very far from any restaurants or stores. For example, if you walk back at night (about 20 minutes from the bus stop) you WILL be followed by several street dogs who bark at you. As for the owners, the appear kind at first but do not include anything except for the bare minimum. For example, they provide you with exactly one roll of toilet paper. When asked for another roll (during our week long stay for two people) the owner said they only provide one roll to guests. He eventually gave one to me but only after making me walk to his house up the hill and arguing with me about what he should and should not be providing.

Our flight was diverted for several hours and I managed to get an email to Sammy and Yvonne to let them know that I was unsure when we would be arriving. When we finally arrived, Sammy was there waiting at the airport (without anyone asking) because he was worried we wouldn’t be able to find our way in the dark. We loved the view and the central location at Woburn. It is perfect if you have a car and plan to see different spots around the island. Very clean and comfortable.

Owners are delightful and lovely people! Perfect for family and extended stays as well as a single person. Very safe! A little tricky to find but the cab drivers know the island and there a few signs to guide you. Hit the grocery store and cook your own meals and enjoy them on the beautiful balcony!

• connie (4/5): Disappointing - Well it could of been better. We didn't like the cockroaches, air conditioning didn't work, sofa ripped, seats fell off chairs, or had to buy our own toilet paper. We liked the washing machine, balcony and signage was good.

• Daren (8/5): Genial hosts, spacious clean suite.Quiet bay view. - When the local tour co. couldnt get enough reservations, my host Sammy drove me for a 2 day tour. 100 USD. Rental cars are $60 a day plus Ins. So it was a savings. Two local eateries were a 15 minute walk away. But Sammy also drove me for food supplies. Woburn Villas is East of the University about 4 miles away from the bustle of St George. It was what I needed, No partying, just relaxing and seeing the lush rain forest & bays.

• Wyatt (10/5): Beautiful property in paradise - I had a lovely stay in Grenada with Woburn Villas. I arrived at night to the friendliest people I've met in all my travels. When I opened the door to my Villa, I was shocked how large it was. I had a kitchen, living room, dining room, huge bathroom, very nice bedroom with all the amenities a luxury resort needs. When I woke up in the morning I was treated to a beautiful view from my huge private balcony of the Woburn Bay. I got some great advice from the staff on things to see and do in St. George's and I learned a little bit of history while I visited the Grenada Museum also. This place is a lovely property if you want to go see the island, or just relax in your beautiful room. If I ever get back to Grenada I'll definitely be staying at Woburn Villas Thank you to the staff for making my stay wonderful. (Sorry I'm terrible at remembering names, but I'll never forget how much I enjoyed my stay)

• Natalie (10/5): Beautiful villa....exceptionally clean - I had a family emergency and had to be on the island for a few days. I checked the hotels listing and was undecided until I saw Woburn Villas. The reviews about the cleanliness and high quality peaked my interest. I finally selected the 2 bedroom apt. When my family arrived we were greeted by a friendly gentleman Mr. Rodulph, who was working tiredlessly to ensure our comfort and shortly after by Ms. Yvonne, in whom I embraced immediately because of her warmth and caring personality. The apartment is tastefully designed and all amenties mentioned were available. Having travelled for years i was surprised that the images shown online are exactly what is presented on arrival. I have no doubt in my mind that Woburn Villa is second to none and will definitely return and recommend to family and friends this beautiful home away from home.
• Jenny (10/5): Lovely view of the sea and a very comfortable stay - Yvonne made us feel very welcome and I would recommend her apartment to anybody and the apartment was very spacious and it is in a very good location with a lovely view of the sea. You can really relax in peace and it has all the utilities you need. I loved it, it was my kind of place.
• Pedro and Lyn (2/5): The worst hotel nightmare of my family's life. - When we arrived at the Woburn villas, a gardener who was very dirty and smell of rum greeted us. He gave us about five keys for #5. The villa was dirty, no internet, no air conditioner, burgular bars with two large locks on the inside, broken chairs, bed matresses under the bed frame and two snakes on the outside. It is about 20 minutes from the nearest store or restaurant. After about an hour we paid and beg a guy at a cost of $40 to take us to the Radisson and stayed there for the five days in Grenada. Please, Expedia, remove this place from your choices to stay in Grenada. We never saw the owner and people told us afterwards that it is not a safe place to be at night explaining the purpose for the indoor burglar bars with large locks. We have traveled from Canada to South America and this the worst of all.
• K C Nunez (8/5): WOBURN Villas Fantastic Family Place - I travelled with my 4 kids ranging form 12 yrs to 1yr. The villa was clean so clean that my baby was rolling on the floor and fell asleep. It is about 10-15 mins from gran anse beach and about 20mins to BBC beach. The viwe is breath taking and of your are looking for a homey get away this is really it. Everything is as pictured and the host Ms Yevonne is as genuine and lovely and will cater to your every need. You yould need a vehicle but if you are all for navigating hilly terrain then rent one but I will definitely recommend that instead you have Ms Yevonne organise taxis for you and if you really want to see the island her call Victor for an island tour he is the best. We were supposed to tour for 4hrs instead we did about 6 it was fantastic and he knows everything from water falls to crater lakes trails seculded beaches everything. My Yevonne will pick you up at the airport and drop you back. Exceptionally reasonable pricing for everything and Ms Yevonne waits on you better than a butler. Definitely a do again.
• Gina (10/5): Tranquil retreat close to all - Woburn Villas is a phenomenal place to stay in Grenada. Very very very friendly host and immaculately clean. Can be a little hard to find it first but everyone is more than welcome to give you directions. Definitely recommend this place and definitely will be going back when we go back to Grenada again. Mrs Yvonne and Mr. Sammy are a great host.
• Leah (8/5): Lovely spot - Loved our one night stay. The owners were super friendly. The room was huge and just as pictured. They called a cab for us to go to dinner and they drove us to the airport for a small fee the next morning.
• Lucero (6/5): Relaxing - It was comfortable and relaxing place to stay. However, because we didn't have transportation, it was difficult to get around.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent Accomodations. - Large clean apartment with a greate view. I stayed here for a week and it was a great place to relax and enjoy Grenada. I stayed for a week and loved coming back to relax on the balcony to enjoy the cool breeze after long days of touring and attending soccer games.
• Almarales (10/5): Comfortable for a family - The apartment is spacious with a good view. it's very comfortable for a family. The owner picked us up and returned us to the airport at the conclusion of our stay. They were nice enough to also arrange a car for our days on the island. we are very happy with our stay and would stay again should we return to Grenada.
