Guest Reviews
- Susan (8/5): - Convenient to West Point, which was the reason for our stay. Room was clean, but not really updated—which was fine.
- Eileen (10/5): - Accommodations were very pleasant.
- FRANCISCO (8/5): - .
- Matthew (10/5): Comforting and wonderful - The excellent service began with the kindness and care the hotel manager welcomed us with. He made us feel totally comfortable in our surroundings. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was refreshing. The mirror and counter space next to the bathroom were massive, and left plenty of space for my wife and I to lay out all of our bathroom travel items. The TV had so many channels, the iron and ironing board were in good condition, and the fridge had plenty of space. It was a charming environment and we would highly recommend you give this place a try.
- Phung (10/5): - So close to West Point. Staff was nice. Rooms were clean. Easy parking.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The motel is old and run down looking. Breakfast was packaged muffins. Don’t recommend.
- Steven (10/5): Very Nice - The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It may be older but we enjoyed our stay.
The beds were comfortable. The a/c worked very good. The bathroom was clean. The staff was very friendly.
I highly recommend this for your stay.
- Kevin (10/5): - Even though it was an overnight stay, this motel was better then a Ramada At Virginia Beach and a Regency hotel in New London Ct.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful stay near West Point - Property is clean and comfortable and everything is in good working condition. The staff are friendly and helpful. I felt safe walking across the street for dinner and I slept well. It was very quiet. I highly recommend these accommodations for West Point families who need to be close to post.
- Robert (10/5): West Point Motel a good bargain - Clean and spacious room conveniently located near downtown and the Military Academy. Polite and attentive staff.
- Ted (8/5): - Great access to West Point. Hotel was basic but clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. Some shops are just a few minutes walk away and the towns are only a few minutes drive. Area was quiet and pretty, it was nice to just sit outside on the chairs provided. Breakfast was limited, cereal, yogurt, pastries, juice, coffee tea but ok.
- Amy (10/5): - Owner and staff are so friendly ! Place is super clean and quet
- Michael (10/5): - Stayed Many times and enjoy every time
- Ray (10/5): - Pleasant stay. We will be back.
- Jai Marie (10/5): - The property was very clean, seemed to be recently updated. We had all that we needed. The door seemed a bit off and let cold air in but it did not affect the room's warmth overall. The parking lot was not properly treated which was tricky in a sedan, but we managed. The staff was very friendly, the bed were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean. It is not sound-proof but was overall a quiet weekend, so all was well.
- Chris (6/5): - The noise from the heating pipes made it hard to sleep. Positive is we had heat.
- Kristin (8/5): - Convenient for Army football games.
- Jim (8/5): - Booked through Expedia and the property manager was not able to take care of charging what was published through Expedia. It was significantly more.
- Kevin (8/5): - Comfortable and convenient.
- Paul (10/5): - Great place
- Sharon (8/5): - Not much to do in the area
- Verified traveler (8/5): Pleasant stay - Room clean, comfortable. Host welcoming and accommodating. Nicely appointed coffe, juice, muffins, bananas etc. for breakfast.
- Yvonne (8/5): - Nice place, but over priced. The area needs some more hotels.
- kathleen (6/5): - Not worth it. Most properties there are overpriced bc there is nothing else around. Stay further out and get amenities and dining options.
- Farrah (8/5): Well Kept Older Motel - Well kept older Motel. Good location for visiting West Point.
- Joelle (10/5): - Everything was great, we did however have people above us who were loud. I swear they were rolling something around. We’re loud walkers and doing all this late. Last night after 1 AM
- Deborah (8/5): - The bed was excellent, the room was clean, and spacious.
- Steven (10/5): - This was a great location especially for access to West Point USMA. The check in was easy, and when we added an additional room, the front desk worked it so we could have rooms next to each other. This was a great place thank you.
- Janice (10/5): Great value and great accommodations - Our room was spacious, very clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay.
Both the motel and it's location were very quiet.
- Olga (10/5): - The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The location was also perfect making it convenient to explore the area.

- Nydia (8/5): - Quiet and clean
- Rick (8/5): - Very convenient to the WP Military Academy. Clean linens and towels. A bit noisy road.
- Amy (10/5): - Perfect spot
- Amy (10/5): - Quiet, cozy, welcoming and perfect location
- JEFFREY (8/5): - It is a motel. It was priced right and is very close to West Point. Mexican restaurant acrosd the street. Walgreens and a grocery store very close.
- Danelle (8/5): - Perfect for two nights
- Angela (10/5): - Our room was very clean and beds were very comfortable.
- Joanne (8/5): - Very clean
- Sheri (10/5): Close to Thayer gate - Great location. So close to Thayer Gate. Clean rooms and very comfy beds and pillows. Parking is tight for large vehicles but so close it’s worth it
- Kent (8/5): - Good location for visiting West Point
- John (6/5): - Blood on the towels and musty smell in room
- Mark (10/5): - Well maintained older property.
- Kristelle (10/5): - This is an old style motel. Fixtures have been upgraded , staff very nice, cold drinks available in the office but you just can’t get rid of the musty smell in the rooms. However, it was better than other options in the area if you want to be close to West Point. Beds were OK. We would book again for the location.
- W. Bruce (10/5): - The Owners are absolutely wonderful. The motel is clean and very comfortable. For the proximity to West Point and the value it cannot be beat! A great place to stay with great people who appreciate your comfort and convenience and go the extra mile to make the visit exceptional! I love the West Point Motel!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean with updated fixtures and a very comfortable bed. It was especially great that there was a blower, ironing board, and iron in the room. It was nice that breakfast was free, but it consisted of a lot of processed, prepackaged foods, which was very disappointing. The biggest drawback was the WiFi signal, which very weak and kept cutting out until it just stopped working completely. It was impossible to watch any streaming shows or movies on my laptop, as well as get on the Internet.
- Michael (10/5): - Very good motel close to USMA.
- Tony (10/5): - I was in for an event at West Point and the West Point Motel was a very convenient and comfortable choice of lodging, I would absolutely stay here again.
- Debra (8/5): - Overall very good. I was appreciative that they allowed me to check in early. The people staying in the room above me were running around when I was trying to sleep, so a little too loud.
- Erica (10/5): - Great location to West Point and walkable to town and sites. Staff was super helpful and friendly. While an older motel, everything was clean and had what we needed. Good value for what you get.
- Scott (10/5): - I wanted to know about early check in.
I called and didn't get an answer. I didn't leave a message. They called me back because they missed a call(Like you do when you miss a friends call)
Because the room was not used the night before, they let me check in 2 hrs early without a charge.
- Moshe (10/5): - Pleasant little place.
Very confortable for a West Point Academy visit.
- Richard (10/5): - Very clean with easy check in and out.
- Jason (8/5): - Nice place. AC worked great. Not gonna be blown away by the looked but it does the job just fine.
- Pamela (8/5): - The property is clean and convenient and most important, close to the USMA!
- Jensi (8/5): - Very friendly staff
- David (4/5): - Dirty, expensive, no service, poor quality.
- Sonia (8/5): - Great location and wonderful service! Just needs upgrading in certain areas.
- Marcela (8/5): - It was great after a long day of driving.
- RoseAnne (10/5): - Overall. It was very nice, but we found the stair risers, which lead to the second and third floors, a little higher than normal.
- Lori (10/5): Clean and Comfortable - Excellent bed and bedding and the cleanliness and comfort of the room were excellent.
- Shuwei (10/5): - Great place to stay.
- Corry (10/5): - Great stay!
- Mark (10/5): - Good Place to stay
- Jilliann (10/5): - Clean, very helpful front desk, well kept property overall, and not too much noise from neighbors at any point.
- Robert (4/5): - Office seemed to never be open - didn’t open until 0900 and was closed too early each day.
Seemed not a good value for the price.
- Sheri (10/5): Has the three “C”’s - Clean, comfortable and convenient….. that’s what I’m looking for when I book
- Kate (8/5): - We hope they can upgrade the wifi, that was a problem. The fact that we could open the windows and get fresh air was wonderful! Staff were very kind and understanding. Rooms were very clean!! We both slept well!!
- kathleen (8/5): - My room was nice and clean and felt very safe for a single female traveler. I think they put me in this room with thought. The check in was awkward though..no one was there. Key exchange not secure...and no one on site if there was a problem. Room was very quiet though. The matress was heavenly ..asked employee what kind it was
.bit she had no idea! >i slept great in this room!>This room was not completely accesible. If i were in a wheelchair i could not get to the big closet .and iron.the fridge and table were blocking it. The fridge didnt work too well anyway...when turned on it will start this annoying buzzing sound. Had to turn it off.
- Thomas (8/5): - Room was clean and facility was well kept. Motel is within walking distance from town.
- Amy (10/5): - So close to West Point
- Gail (8/5): Acceptable hotel - Convenient hotel but a little overpriced for what you have a a available.
- Y4593MHkevinm (2/5): The great flood - During a once in a lifetime storm that hit Highland Falls in Aug we had 2 rooms booked the night before R-Day at USMAPS. Unable to get to the town due to the flooding it took numerous phone calls with the hotel to get them to agree on a 2 room credit. This was not an easy task, despite the town being flooded and all roads blocked they said sorry we are open and it’s our policy when you cancel day of not to reimburse.
So we agreed to take the two room credit.
Our first credit was able to be used. It took two phone calls to arrange but nevertheless they agreed to honor one credit. When I attempted to use the next credit they said it was lost. All room credits need to be used in same year (2023). So they received $180 we couldn’t use originally because a flooding disaster and provided no service in return.
This is a case of a business who knows despite what they do it won’t matter because of the proximity to a University/tourist attraction like West Point. They don’t care about customer service, or updating the hotel etc, they will get the tourists and the families who visit students money regardless.
Throughout my communication they have been rude and spoke with a tone that was not professional. Again they can do this because they know all rooms will continue to be booked. So I know this review won’t have an impact on the hotel but I firmly believe you get what you give. Sooner or later the hotel management will get a return on all the negativity they have given.
- Luke (8/5): - Convenient for cadets to stay, bad coffee.
