Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Super comfortable bed, exceptionally clean, easy access into room with private entrance, nicely sanded and salted outside(winter visit), staff called to let us know that they were closing early (due to Christmas holiday) and where to get the key. That was a nice touch! Overall very satisfied with cost and would return ! Thx!
- Timothy (10/5): - Great place, Great location
- Byrd (10/5): Enjoyable and comfortable . - Convenience It was overall good
- Eric (10/5): - Everything was great with just a couple of minor things, the Jacuzi bathtub was not cleaned very well and the outdoor pool had definitely seen better days. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the location right next to the Concert Venue.
- Todd (10/5): Great Stay - Stay was perfect and the location was ama ing! Went to a concert and could not have been closer to venue! The bonus was the access to the lake which was great. I cannot wait to book this property again next year!
- Susan (10/5): - excellent
- Judith (10/5): - Would stay again
- Susan (6/5): - The location on the lake was very nice.
- Annemarie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Eleanor (8/5): - Need additional locks on ground floor rooms.
- Michelle (10/5): - Newer, clean room. Friendly staff and seamless check in/out. Amazingly comfortable bed. Convenient path to the concert venue.
- Teddra (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (8/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Misty Harbor due to its unbeatable proximity to concerts. Although it was our first time utilizing the hotel's services (usually opting for VRBO or similar platforms, but with no availability), we found that this unit fell short of our VRBO experiences. Regrettably, the cleanliness of the unit was lacking, with noticeable cobwebs behind the doors and a deck that seemed to have been neglected all season.
While the unit did feature a full kitchen, we were disappointed to discover the absence of essential kitchen amenities such as a toaster, serving utensils, and pot holders for the oven. Prior knowledge of these limitations would have been highly beneficial.
Nonetheless, we must acknowledge the convenience of Misty Harbor's location and the friendly demeanor of the staff, both of which make it our go-to choice every year. However, in the future, we may consider revisiting VRBO to explore alternative accommodations.
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Charlie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michelle (10/5): - Great location lots around
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Coffey (9/5): Superb - Had everything you'd need refrigerator, microwave, dehumidifier. Very comfortable beds and nice new furniture and TV. Plenty of parking and nice views of the mountains and lake. Water smelled like sulphur had to let it run for awhile before it went away.
- Sonia (7/5): Good -
- Eileen (1/5): NEVER AGAIN, WILL NOT RECOMEND - NOTHING The place is a dump!!! Dirty, never cleaned, broken blind, no toaster, no Kitchenette. Refrigerator was filthy, can hardly fit a gallon of milk in it, freezer is so small and had 3 inches of frost in little compartment. The floor had sticky stuff that had been spilled and food spilled were never cleaned same with the counter and tabletop. Floors never mopped, under the beds were "dust bunnies". The beds need to be replaced, the mattresses were well worn, very soft. Towel bar in bathroom kept falling off and ended up on floor.
Drawers to put your clothes in were filthy, and dog fur inside. Mold smell from ac/heater unit. We never had maid service.
Like I stated this place was filthy and I will never book with you again.
- Sheila (8/5): - Everything was very nice. However, our room had a very musty smell which we all woke stuffy and sore throats.
- Gail (10/5): Great resort! - Very nice place to stay. Perfect location to walk to Bank of NewHampshire Pavilion for a concert. Will definitely pick this resort again.
- Rosanne (10/5): My trip - The room, the location, and how close it was to the concert stadium They didn't have anything to eat, for late night or breakfast
- McKenzie (10/5): - The ladies at the front desk were very helpful in their knowledge of concert venue and places to be, thank you so much
- Ronald (2/5): Very poor - location absolutely no amenities! we almost ran out of toilet paper and I didn’t know that housekeeping services were only upon request. no hair conditioner and while the keurig had pods there was no sugar creamer or stirrers. I had to go to the office several times to get supplies,, for the 300$ per night that was very disappointing. also no freezer for ice. I swear that the motel had to pay extra to get a fridge with no freezer. and they only sold bags of ice.
- Violette (4/5): - I love that we were just across the street from the water
I did not love that the room was not clean when we got in there was glass on the floor the freezer part of the refrigerator was so frozen sick that everything in the refrigerator was freezing lightbulbs were missing and it did not get addressed after we reported it especially the floor and the glass we were offered a broom we couldn’t get a vacuum cleaner and we had toddlers walking around. We used to stay at this place all the time for some reason this time not so good
- Melissa (6/5): Was in area for wedding. Will not stay here again - Like the location. Close to everything No curtains in room, only blinds. Way too bright to sleep, room was very musty with dehumidifier running in room that was full. Not enough towels for 3 adults ( got an attitude when asking for more) Not enough cups or sugar for more than 1 person for a cup of coffee.
- Kalyn (8/5): Would stay again - Great location to Bank of NH Pavilion. Could use better guest parking (lot flooded during our stay). Guest Parking
- Carol (8/5): Very good - It is the best place to stay when there is a concert. It was pretty relaxing. I used the beach at our last stay. I like having my own door to the room It's a bit pricey but I guess it's comparable to everyone else in a seasonal area.
- Jayne (10/5): Exceptional - location and cleanliness
- Christina (4/5): Disappointing - room was small, indoor pool was closed, there was no arcade room, and was not worth the expensive price. definitely not a resort
- Jessica (6/5): Our concert stay - Beds where nice but a bit too soft, the room wasnt very clean, we didnt complain.. we found a princess wand in one of the table lamps lol one bed didnt look totally made like yhe other one, moved the night stand to plug in our phones n there where papertowels, lotion n other things under it, light bulb above bed was blown.. Location was great for the concert venue n that was the whole purpose of our stay. Nice lighted walkway. Across the street is a very nice beach with amazing views! For the price we paid, ehhhh super old school blow dryer, small pool, questionable room cleanliness sadly but at least the concert was dope!
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (10/5): - Room accomodations exceeded expectations, very welcoming and super convenient for 1 night
- Lorna (10/5): Loved the location and friendly staff - The women who checked us in was so very friendly. Will definitely be back
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great Location, Dingy Room - My mom and I stayed two nights for a concert at the pavilion. We have stayed at the facility before, both times were condo rentals, and we had no issues. This time we rented a room with two queen beds that is located on the ground level underneath other units. The room was very musty smelling and not very clean. There was a dehumidifier in the unit but it was full and needed to be emptied. Based on past trips here, this experience was disappointing. I didn’t bother to complain because I know the rooms were probably all full and from my past experience it hasn’t made a difference. Thankfully we had plenty to do and spent very little time in the room. If it had been cleaner and didn’t smell I would say it was worth the price for the location. We would stay here again, but not in one of these rooms.
- Steven (8/5): - I enjoyed my stay at Misty Harbor. Please remember, they say, “This is a destination venue”. If you are attending anything, at the Pavillion, it’s a great place to stay. Quick walk.
I did not stay long enough to enjoy the water aspect of this stay. Hopefully next time, I bring the boat, and we explore more.
Many units are very dated. But, it’s still a nice stay in Central NH. Thank you.
- Sheryl (6/5): - Over priced and not all amenities were open. Did not receive the room booked. Was supposed to be king size bed and jetted whirlpool tub. Room had double size bed.
- Kristine (10/5): - Loved the super clean beach area and the path to the concert venue. Beds super comfortable as well. Floor was a little sandy when we arrived.
- Verified traveler (4/5): New rules have lost clientele. - Have been reserving a double room for years at this establishment and have always been able to park two cars, until this trip. Without warning, I was not able to park two cars and my friends chose to not stay, so I booked a double room for literally no reason. I was told that prior guests had 5-7 cars staying at once which eliminated multiple car options. No ifs, ands, or buts.
- Heather (8/5): - The property is clean and convenient. We stayed across the street from the lake and the staff was accommodating. The property was a little understaffed so we needed to request cleanings and towels when needed. Although the room has been updated the sink and tub are still pretty out of date. The tub kept backing up. All in all, a nice place to stay on lake Winnepesaukee!
- Diane (10/5): - Great location … nice outdoor pool and easy beach access
- Joseph (10/5): - If you are going to concert at the Bank of NH Pavilion, this is your hotel. 5 to 10 minute walk depending on your room. The room are clean, spacious, well decorated, with great amenities.
- Charles (10/5): - Great place to stay. Loved being on the lake with the beach. Close to Weirs beach downtown area.
- Brennon (8/5): - Great place
- Verified traveler (8/5): Bike week stay, not bad. - Fecal matter in toilet when we arrived.
1/4 roll of bathroom tissue.
Two out of three check-in personnel were great. One of them not so much. All in all I would recommend this establishment.
- Dawn (10/5): So close - The bed & pillows were so comfortable!
The room was large, it was so close the the venue :)
- Kari (8/5): I'd stay here again! - Pros: Easy to find. Great restaurant and liquor store very close by. Right on the lake. Nice outdoor pool. Updated rooms. Friendly staff at check in. Assigned free parking. Couldn't be any closer to the amphitheater...easiest concert-going experience of my life!
Cons: The floor was covered in sand. The blinds do very little to darken the room, so bring a sleep mask. There is no deadbolt on the door, so as 2 women traveling alone we were uneasy in our ground floor room.
- Linda (10/5): Great stay - The unit was well-appointed and very comfortable and clean. We attended a concert at the Gilford Arena - could not have been a better spot!
- Bernadette (10/5): March trip - Nice updated and large room with balcony. Very friendly staff. Great location steps from the beach
- ryan (10/5): - Very spacious room. Much bigger than a normal hotel 2 beds room. Easy check in and check out.
- SUMIO (10/5): The kitchen was not there. - On the website, the kitchen was mentioned in the website, but we did not have the kitchen in our room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room was huge! Very clean and had everything you could have needed. Staff were so nuce and helpful. We'll definitely stay again.
- Erin (8/5): A hidden gem. - Great small hotel in a beautiful setting. We loved the indoor pool and the short walk to the beach.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property was nice and clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms, while very basic, had everything you need and were very clean and nice and spacious.
Could use some updating in the decor department.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice place to stay a lot of restaurants around here
- Melissa (10/5): Thank you! We will be back for sure. - Amazing staff!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good place to stay in the winter too. - Good, clean, comfortable. Nice bathroom. Like having the Keurig coffeemaker in the morning.
- Tiffany (10/5): - I love the room. It is super cozy and updated with the decor. We had a ground floor room and it still had a beautiful view! The women at check-in was super friendly and efficient!
- Jennifer (10/5): Return Customer - We’ve been staying at Misty Harbor for many many years. Great beach, close to all activities, and very helpful staff. Highly recommend a stay here. We’ve stayed in all the room types- 2BR, 1BR, and motel rooms. Always exceptionally clean, and even the motel rooms are much larger than expected! Will be starting again very soon. You can’t go wrong with this place.
- Kyle (4/5): Really bad taste in my mouth - We tried to cancel when my wife caught the flu, but deniese the manager flat out refused to allow us to cancel. She tried to offer a credit but wanted me to go back theough hotels.com to cancel so she wouldnt eat a booking fee, even though hotels.com needed her permission to cancel the booking without penalty. I got the vibe id get the runaround on the credit so we sucked it up amd came only to find the pool and hot tub, one of the main reasons we picked this place, were closed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room wasn't cleaned after previous guest. Sheets/blankets used and not cleaned, old socks on the ground, dirty dishes in the sink, hair all over the shower, old trash ..... Unbelievable for the price.
- SalvadorRivas (10/5): - Everything was perfect. The room was clean, the location of the hotel was good, the indoor pool was also clean and warm.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved our stay! The room was amazing! Our only complaint was that the vending machine was out of order and the soda machine had limited flavors. Overall, we loved it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We were at the resort for a concert at the Pavilion. Not much time was spent to see all amenities, however the room was clean and plenty of space and the foot path to the pavilion was wonderful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It was close to the venue but room can use some love- front desk not accommodating - beach and lakefront were very nice
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Rooms could use updating. Bathroom was old and carpet was stained
- Bryan (10/5): An awesome place to stay! - a great place to stay!...i would stay there again anytime!...and a stones throw away from Meadowbrook!
- Verified traveler (8/5): spacious, good location - Stayed for a weekend event (off-season). Room (ground floor, end unit, next to road) was very spacious, CLEAN & comfortable. Lighting was a bit lacking and only had a knob lock, so, security could be improved but overall, I was perfectly happy with it. Microwave, mini fridge and keurig coffeemaker worked fine. If you stay here in high season (summer), bring earplugs for road noise.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great little place, clean pool and hot tub. Loved the mini keurig in the room!
- Brian (8/5): A Good Stay - The stay was good and comfortable, but they lack having available a breakfast; even a continental breakfast...coffee, tea, danish, donuts, etc.
- Elisabeth (2/5): - My room did not have heat sheets where dirty bathroom was not clean
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Thought we had lake view—parking lot view instead...it was a nice place but not what we expected...
- Dean (8/5): - Very close to the beach. Large rooms and good accommodations. Jacuzzi was not working, but overall it was above satisfactory.
- Jenna (8/5): Nice stay - Two couples stayed in the two bedroom sweet. Beds were small (1queen, 1 full) but the linens were nice. Beach area was nice.
- Dianne (6/5): - The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. We stay here when attending a show at NH Bank Pavilion and it's very convenient. Rooms are spacious and the bathrooms clean with some toiletries included. The increase in price is disappointing and with that increase we feel they should have updated the flooring to a laminate (our rugs were tattered and dirty) and installed larger refrigerators. (our freezer shelf was all frosted over so you couldn't use it to refreeze your ice packs).
- Verified traveler (6/5): Quiet place - not for everyone. - Nice place as long as you are looking for a low key stay. The beach is small and across the street from the main part of the resort. Our room was clean but really outdated. Some or maybe all of the rooms are privately owned so furnishings and condition may vary widely. The outdoor pool was good but far away from our room. The indoor pool and hot tub were also nice but the room was very poorly lit.
Our bed was actually a murphy bed with no side tables or headboard, which was awkward but we made due. The terrace was nice but overlooked the road (lakeview). The railing was old and did not seem secure though. The room had a full kitchen but when we tried using the oven the smoke alarm kept going off. We also lost water pressure the morning after a power loss due to a storm.
- Lisa (6/5): - We choose to stay here because of it's walking proximity to the Meadowbrook Concert Pavillion.
- Rosa (8/5): - Property was clean. Room was spacious. Flooring needs updating and there was no towel bar in the bathroom. So there was no place to hang our wet towels which was very annoying. We were in the motel area - across the street from the beach which was fine. Beach area felt like we were swimming in a marina due to the surrounding boats and jet skis.
- Deb (10/5): Great location - We love this hotel. It's close to everything. Clean, staff is friendly.
- Regs (10/5): Beautiful place to stay, right near the water - Beautiful place to stay! Had a fantastic time here with friends and the direct path to the Bank of NH Pavilion was so worth it! The private beach was very clean with great views of the water! I will be staying here again! I will recommend this place to everyone I know.
- VALERIE (10/5): - This was a first time weekend getaway for us. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff who was exceptionally friendly (including Romeo). We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relief to know we were in a quiet and peaceful environment. The room was very comfortable and clean…the atmosphere was so special that it really felt like home to us. The indoor pool was true to the photographs on the website, it was a great way to start the morning. Without a doubt we were very happy with this resort and will certainly be staying here again!
- Brian (8/5): - I enjoyed the stay here, but had only one issue and that is that they offered nothing for breakfast; simple or otherwise.
- Sharon (6/5): Disappointed - The hotel and room were pretty basic...the coffee maker did not work, the cable service was intermittent, and the beds were just okay. I expected more for the money...
- Ashley (10/5): Right on the lake - Great location, right on the lake. Indoor pool hot tub and sauna. Complimentary coffee and donuts Saturday and Sunday. Very cozy, loved our stay.
- Christine (8/5): Make A Wish Dinner Cruise on the Mount Washington - Make A Wish Dinner Cruise on the Mount Washington at Weirs Beach.
I had A week at This Resort with my Special son. We had loads of fun , we went to Squam Lakes Science center , a 3 hour science adventure for my son and a 2 mile walk for mom . This Resort is not only 5 minutes from everything , but the rooms are twice the size of other places we have stayed , It was Clean , Quiet , Indoor and out door Pools , small kitchenette , love having a microwave with a sick child we were in decompressing a lot . but the staff was so kind and I would definitely stay again . can not wait to book another trip. just Beautiful up there .
- Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointed stay - We went for an overnight stay. The room itself was ok but the air conditioner filter was very dirty. My husband and I cleaned it. Our view from the balcony was the dumpster and the back woods. The bed was uncomfortable. The railing to the outside pool was wobbly. The 2 tvs didn't work. The area is beautiful but we wouldn't stay here again. Service was polite.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Not fancy but clean, and friendly staff. Location can't be beat if you're going to a show at the pavillion.
- laurie (8/5): Awesome close to venue - Nice stay room was spacious great location definitely will be back
- yoyo (6/5): is okay motel not a resort. - they have a very good photographer to advertise their place as a "resort", those nice pics are almost non existing because are only for like a couple of condos that only available after Memorial Day and are I think 2 bedroom type. The rest are motel rooms facing the woods away from the lake or any lake view is not meant for you to spend a vacation per say. this place is meant for a one night type of thing then is clean and efficient, beds are uncomfortable so that even sleeping in separate beds didn't help with the arm pain the next day shh.. im still hurting and this was last week.
- Ernest (4/5): Your cheesy aunt Peggy from Boca might like it - This place was just weird, but if you like being greeted with a yappy pug dog that's afraid of it's own shadow, you'll like it. The room had the feeling you were staying at your cheesy aunt Peggy's condo in Boca. In no way shape or form fit the local surroundings of beautiful Lake Winni, which is a shame since the property is on the lake.
- Gillian (10/5): Nice location - Great location for the lake.
