A small swimming pool is handy for the heat of the summer. Brown brick walls in the motel room made the room feel cold. The fridge was so cold that the milk froze overnight. The fridge also "clicked" all night long

• Catherine (1/5): Don’t waste your time and energy - Staff gave us keys to our room. Room wasn’t cleaned from previous guest. Went straight back to office which staff inspected the room. Staff offered new room. We asked about the extra single as we booked for double plus single. Staff said it was only a double. I agree to take the double for the 3 of us. I offered to wait while they cleaned the room. Staff then said the room they offered us wasn’t available. Then the mix matched story’s from staff member started… didn’t have our booking, apparently under a different last name, rang another motel to fit us in who also had no rooms, then said my booking wasn’t with booking.com but another platform. Then said they cancelled our booking on the Friday with booking.com by calling them but when I asked for the phone number they didn’t have it. Then said I only paid $108 instead of $130. I had all these conformation details! The whole time changing the story. Including saying my first name was spelt different with a “y” but he didn’t even take my license to know how my name was actually spelt. Just lie after lie. Thank goodness for the great service from booking.com for canceling it! Unfortunately no other places available in the area so we just drive another 5hours home with a child. Never would I recommend here! I believe the housemaid forgot to clean and instead of cleaning it do we could have the room instead he made up all these miss matched stories
• Gregory (7/5): Good value and nice to have EV charger available. - I was happy that I could charge my EV at the motel overnight for a $20 fee. Unfortunately the motel is fairly close to an intersection on the Newell Hwy so there was some truck noise during the night.

• Layo (4/5): Not so great for me. I dislike room fragrancers intensely. - The manager was very courteous and welcoming. The door was open when we arrived and also seemed to blow open in the wind. Faulty, unreliable lock. Room smelt of insecticide or some kind of spray that was irritating.

• Lesley (10/5): Best place we have stayed in a long time. - The owners and staff are lovely friendly people that will help you enjoy your stay. The facilities are spotless, the grounds clean and tidy. The rooms are a very good size and the beds are very comfortable.

The front glass windows in the room were so thin, when people next room sit & talk at their outside chair, I can hear too clearly too close, I thought my windows were open but it wasn't.Also it would be nice if some kind of divider is there outside between rooms for privacy.

• Arie (7/5): We enjoyed our stay over the 2 days. - The owner was very helpful by providing an extra night as we arrived too early at the motel in Wagga and they could not give us an extra night as they were fully booked out. The room was clean and not too small, and the bed was comfortable. The motel was about 2km out of town but had good places to eat. We were able to do a lot of bush waking and sight seeing.

The room was well appointed with the basics all well maintained and clean. While not the fault of the property, the loud talkers sitting outside till late showed no consideration for others.

• Scout Travels (8/5): A good spot to stop to rest after a long drive - The staff communication was excellent - I arrived later in the evening after a long drive. I had received advice in the afternoon confirming that my room was ready and included advice about checking in. The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable and the linen was of good quality. The shower alcove was a good size, and it did not take long for the hot water to come through. The bath towels were fluffy (although the face washer was a little hard). The motel is well located on the highway, but this means that the rooms face the road, and there is some noise from the trucks passing bye or stopping at the nearby service station. After 10pm the external noise dropped off and a good night's sleep was had.

Had cold beer for sale at reasonable prices for the weary traveller. Good local food recommendations including food delivery.

• peter (9/5): - From the reception person to the housemaid everyone was happy, friendly & made us feel welcome. Everything was clean and we wanted for nothing. An older style of motel out of the mainstream commercial centre but well looked after, clean & comfortable. Pretty much nothing not to like.
