Beyond the magical setting and beautiful rooms, what made it unforgettable was the staff—so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Traveling with our dog, we were touched by the thoughtful gesture of providing him with his own bed and bowls, which made us feel right at home. Every detail added to the sense of comfort and care. - fairymay (10/5): Wonderful little hotel!! - My daughter and I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel in June. The gardens are truly beautiful and so relaxing. Lots of very comfortable places to sit, we loved the fire pit and just the general peace and quiet. The beach was very windy but the garden seemed to be so protected which was delightful. Breakfast in the garden was a real treat and the food was excellent. The hotel location is right in the centre an we were very grateful for this as plenty of choice for places to eat. The staff are all delightful, they really can not do enough for you and it sounds corny but it is absolutely true. They all smiles and happy which makes such a difference. I would not hesitate to recommend to anybody.

- LMarieF (10/5): Exceptional - The Roundtree is truly something special. The level of service and attention to detail rivals the finest luxury hotels in Asia. The staff was amazing and did everything possible to make sure your stay was exceptional. They thought of every detail, from the stocked fridge with snacks and drinks to the Frette slippers, bathrobes and Grown Alchemist toiletries....we felt very pampered. Loved the firepits and smores as well as all the comfortable options for outdoor seating. Breakfast and evening snacks were exceptional which makes it too easy to overindulge. Location in town is perfect for walking around, they offer bicycles to get to the beach and also a van service as well. We look forward to visiting again over the summer.

- shelleyb435 (10/5): Hamptons delight - charming small hotel right in the heart of Amagansett. Easy walk to town which is quite small but charming. The staff could not have been nicer, Javier , Nellie , and Elena.. Breakfast which was preordered the night before had a nice assortment of bread, croissants, scone and muffin , yougurt and granola, fresh fruit and berries and a choice of juice , coffee , tea, which was quite nice, was served in room or outdoors at one of the tables set up on the grass.. The room was comfortable, bed great with nice linens...bathroom towels were large and fluffy. My only complaint would be the lack of a proper reading light... The hotel offered cookies in the afternoon, along with ice cream and other delights ...smores in the evening by a fire as well. There were outdoor beds and areas to relax...no pool, spa or bar but that was not an issue for us.. As it was a bit off season, some of the shops and restaurants were closed... All in all a lovely place to spend a few days in the Hamptons.

Beautiful getaway for couples and families. It’s so beautiful, the landscape, the decor, and beautiful continental breakfast in the morning. I also love how close they are to the beach and how they set up chairs and umbrellas for you. Great service all around.

- Freedom590924 (10/5): Lovely Memorial Day weekend at The Roundtree - Lovely long weekend stay at The Roundtree- perfect for my family, including my dog! This place has considered everything, and done it really well. Hoses outside for rinsing dirty paws, wagons with big tires for baggage, lawn games galore and lovely amenities in the rooms. Staff were so attentive and really went out of their way to make us all comfortable. My mother who is British also could not get enough of their lattes and teas every morning, and she is a tough critic! Breakfast was delicious, and the little snacks offered througout the day (cookies and apples in the office, smores and ice cream in the evenings) were a big hit with my young boys. It is also perfectly located and you can walk everywhere in Amagansett right from the hotel. We will definitely come back!

- Steve9117 (10/5): Magical Hotel in the Hamptons Area - First, I think it’s totally unfair for Trip Advisor to include reviews of Roundtree for visits when it was under different management and a different name. You wouldn’t do that for a restaurant with a new chef and cuisine. Our three day stay at Roundtree was exceptional. Cabin was immaculate with top shelf everything - linens, pillows (email 3 days ahead of time asked type of pillows we wanted), free snacks, free beverages in refrigerator, Nespresso machine and capsules. Staff were attentive, lighting a fire in the fire pit every night, putting out s’mores kits every night, putting out freshly baked chocolate chip cookies every day, and bringing continental breakfast to the cabin every morning. The included items with the continental breakfast were varied, and any guest complaining that the continental breakfast didn’t include savory items needs to look up the definition of a continental breakfast! The property is amazing with lots of gathering spots away from the cabins. Make sure you visit the LongHouse Reserve nearby.

- Verified traveler (10/5): the best hotel in the hamptons - The best hotel in the Hamptons! Luxury hospitality without pretension. Quiet, simple and the only one worth the price tag. You will pay the same if not more at any other local hotel and receive the worst service. It would be so easy for Roundtree to just rely on the high summer months to make money and rob you because they can, but they don't. The whole team works with an integrity uncommon to the area. Easy walk to everything in town and while they don't have a restaurant or bar they make up for it in complimentary F&B. It's almost better because it keeps the choas out.

We used the beach pass to visit local beaches. Breakfast was beautifully served in our room. Can't recommend the hotel enough!

They offered lots of tiny perks which really went a long away: s’mores and hot chocolate in the evening, water, apples and cookies throughout the day! I think the property is great and the breakfast was delicious but after a few days it became somewhat repetitive. I would encourage them to consider introducing eggs in the morning alongside the existing options.

We rented almost all the rooms and cottages on the property, including the beach house, and everything was perfect. The attention to detail and special touches added to each room made the weekend truly special. Our guests (with luxury standards) were raving about the impeccable design, decor, and high-end touches throughout the property. The Roundtree Hotel is a perfect stay for a quintessential Hampton’s getaway. We're already planning another event this summer and looking forward to returning every year. - Outonthetiles (6/5): The worst value for money in the USA….it’s a pleasant stay but for bed and breakfast travel several miles further. - Comfortable bed and breakfast ($1500)but completely overcharged for what is provided.The accommodation is only satisfactory…good beds…showers no bath…Spartan facilities …it’s like an ikea room…( clean)but a price tag that in no way reflects value for money.A trayed acceptable breakfast….to say it’s a “ small hotel of the world”…quality is just not there. It’s very pleasant but for a price tag of $1500 a night it’s the worst value I’ve ever had in the USA. Impossible access if you have walking issues. It has a very cool buggy to get you to the beach…. It’s not even on the beach… no room phone…not porterage…..no management just a group of pleasant youngsters.Give this a miss unless you’ve wealth you need to dispose of🤦♂️

The only downside is the breakfast-disappointed that more savory options were not included, such as eggs. Also juice is not fresh squeezed, pastry basket is not homemade but bought in and the granola appears to consist of fragmented granola bars rather than homemade. Given the relatively low number of guests, shifting to homemade shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Other than that, a great place!

- Jillian (10/5): Perfect Romantic Getaway - We just spent two nights at round tree and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The staff is so wonderful, attentive, and kind and truly made us feel welcomed and special. We were celebrating our ten year anniversary and upon checking in they provided us with an upgrade and a complimentary bottle of champagne. The room and the whole place felt luxurious, modern, and special without being too uppity which many places in the Hamptons can be. And the complimentary breakfast delivered to our door each morning was delicious. We can’t wait for our next trip back to the round tree.

We loved our room—very spacious and lots of nice complimentary snacks—and the location right on the main road, with a brief drive or ~15 minute walk to the beach, was excellent. We liked the morning room service, and the evening s’mores. Parking was free. Our favorite amenity was the beach parking pass, which helped us avoid the biggest pitfall of being a tourist in the Hamptons. We would happily return in the off season when it’s priced reasonably (considering the many amenities on offer) —it’s an excellent boutique option.

- VHWR (10/5): A great stay! - We had a wonderful stay at the Roundtree. Our studio cottage was comfortable and stylish. The bedding was luxurious, and the bathroom was beautiful. There were lots of nice touches in the room and the property overall. Continental breakfast is good. Service is friendly and helpful. And you can’t beat the location. We would definitely stay here if back in the Hamptons.

We were greeted by Gabriella and Bobby with enthusiasm and superb customer service! Our room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The owner made sure every detail hasn't been overlooked for her guests. From the arrival snack box, complimentary water, delicious continental breakfast along with access to bikes, homemade baked cookies in the afternoon and treats served by the fire pit every evening. Don't miss out on this hidden gem in the heart of Amagansett!
- sd517 (10/5): Excellent Experience - On our first visit to The Roundtree we parked in the gravel lot and walked to reception. There we found a gentleman who offered us beverages and gave us an autographed book of things to do in the Hamptons for us to keep and had someone take our luggage to our cottage. Our living room had a sofa, two safes, a refrigerator with complimentary beverages, a bowl of cherries, a television, and a large sanitizer for the remotes, keys, phones, or iPads. The bathroom was small but had nice lotions, soaps, shampoos, and conditioners with plush towels. Everything was very clean and there was a turn down service each night. The bedroom had luxurious linens on an oh so comfortable bed, a television, and a small table and chairs. Our shutters opened to a view of the expansive back yard area that included several seating areas, a fire pit, and a building housing restrooms. The robes were plush and the slippers were by Frette. The location was perfect for us to walk to shops and restaurants. The offerings were outstanding. We had our choice of breakfast in the room or outside at tables in the garden area. We just filled out the menu and everything was delivered beautifully on a tray at the exact time we requested if not a bit earlier. They also had bicycles for guests to use, a nightly create your own sundae bar, ice water and cups during the day, and games to get at reception to play. They also had a basket with umbrellas available by reception. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. It was very quiet and allowed us to have a relaxing holiday.
- larrymZ9615FC (10/5): Perfection...time and time again... - This was our third visit to the exceptional Roundtree Inn. This time I brought my entire family and stayed at the luxurious main house. The owner, (Sylvia's), generosity, warmth and check-ins were amazing. Guest Manager Kevin Medina was a standout and is the reason we have enthusiastically booked our FOURTH stay at the property. I cannot say it enough....a stay at the Roundtree Inn is transcendent and unequivocally recommended.
- Sloane (10/5): - This property is a dream!! I can’t say enough. The staff pampered us and were available for every need, from providing copious amounts of towels, turn down service, complementary soda water and tea, snacks, bonfires at night complete with s’mores and ice cream sundaes, a beach buggy or bicycles to take us to the beach, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, they provide it ALL!! The charming town of Amagansett is just incredible. We will definitely be back. I can’t recommend The Roundtree enough!!!

- stephaniecQ7155QG (10/5): Beautiful, relaxing stay - Stayed here right after Thanksgiving for a long weekend in a studio cottage, and it was so relaxing and beautifully outfitted. The location is really convenient- walking distance to shops and restaurants and an easy drive to different beaches. Plenty of parking and love how the grounds are softly lit and really peaceful. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The evening smores were fun (although it was a bit awkward how entire groups of families/friends would sit there all night chatting like it was their own private party). Amenities are well thought out with the nice snacks and beverages and warm afternoon cookies. Continental breakfast was good and delivered straight to our room- options after a few days became a bit tiring, but it's not a place where you can get full room service. Would definitely come back during the off season.

Attentive staff, fresh baked cookies daily, and all the swim gear you need to setup shop at the beach. We stayed in the barn suite and it had plenty of space from the bedroom to the living room, and a huge bathroom. The daily breakfast was a perfect touch. Clean, comfortable, and close to the main restaurants in Amagansett, highly recommended. We will be back. Be sure to catch the smores and bonfire at night

- bruce (10/5): - Our room in the main house was handsome and well appointed. A bottle of wine and bowl of fresh cherries welcomed us. Staff was extraordinary. Professional, friendly and helpful. When an emergency necessitated our leaving a day early, they refunded our payment for that day and the refunded came through before we had pulled away from the inn. We will be back.

The landscape is relaxing and the backyard is huge. I even saw a herd of deer grazing on the grass. The hotel room was clean and tidy. I enjoyed my stay.
