Guest Reviews
- Maria L R (4/5): Sofrivel - Problema no check-in. Havia reservado 4 aptos. triplos.
No check-out queriam cobrar a diferença dos aptos.
Limpo. Consiergs super profissionais. Gerente cordial. Estacionamento com cobertura e gratuito. Ótimo custo benefício. Recomendo.
- Day (6/5): Agradável. - Foi tranquila. Agradável. Mas o ar - condicionada fazia bastante barulho. Mas pelo menos esfriava o quarto.
- 16jamesdoc (6/5): Journey to the centre of the continent - Famously at the geodesic centre of South America (or where they used to think it was), this is a functional hotel with pleasant staff. The building could do with a makeover at some stage but is adequate.
There seems to be a shortage of good eateries in Cuiaba apart from the small restaurant across the road, which is very good value.
- Hotel confortável, próximo a praça popular e demais bares. Pra quem curte sair a noite, a localização é excelente.
Vale a hospedagem!!
No fim do ano voltaremos !!!
Muito Obrigada.
- Xerxes Ricardo (6/5): Descontente - Esqueci meu carregador de Celular no hotel. Mandei email e não me retornaram.
No geral, gostei bastante.
- Heder (10/5): Bom hotel - Muito bom
- Leandro Pessoa (10/5): Hotel bom - Tranquilo e confortável
- Tudo dentro do esperado, ótimos funcionários, localização do hotel é ótima, voltaria a me hospedar e recomendo.
- Verified traveler (4/5): simples, - pequeno, simples, ar condicionado velho.
Atende bem o casal. Recém reformado, tudo parece novinho. Gostei e voltaria.
- Camiloel2014 (8/5): Very Good location, price and friendly staff - If you are looking for a simple, but clean and well located hotel to stay in Cuiaba, do not look further: this is the place to go. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices, fresh fruits and juices, good selection of bread/buns. The staff was friendly and helpful. They made phone calls for us trying to help us as much as they could (some spoke good English).
We can tell the hotel is under a good management. They also have another branch in The Pantanal (a bit far for us this time - next time). They kept our bags while we went to some trips.
Kudos to the receptionists and the manager for their effort in finding our World Cup Bhrama glasses/cups (souvenir from the Would Cup Brazil 2014).
- hudbakanec (4/5): Not recommended - Our room felt like a prison cell. It had no windows other than into the corridor, which could not be locked so anyone could open it from outside the room. The bed sheets had stains. We only stayed here for one night and got a taxi in and out so didn't have to do any walking in the neighbourhood but from the taxi the neighbourhood looked very dodgy - at least the hotel had a security guard. The staff didn't speak English which was a major problem especially when at 3am someone was trying to enter our room and we called the reception fearing for our lives but they couldn't understand what the problem was.
- SamP550 (8/5): Very good... as a simple basic option - Stayed here for four nights during the FIFA World Cup. Be absolutely clear: this place does have the feel of an inn or a motel village. Rooms are very basic, but everything worked fine and it was clean. Breakfast was good. WiFi too. Staff were helpful. The location was central and relatively safe. Very good for what it is.
- Liver_Red (6/5): Perfect For A Night - Positives About Hotel:
+ Buffet breakfast included.
+ Wifi in rooms.
+ Clean and tidy rooms with a good shower.
Negatives About Hotel:
- Looking a bit dated.
- Air-con, although a bonus, is a pretty old and loud unit if you want it on throughout the night.
Summary: We only stayed one night before travelling to the Pantanal. This place is perfect for that if your flight arrives in Cuibá later in the day.
2014 FIFA World Cup: Cuibá is listed as a host city. Not sure where the stadium is in relation to the hotel but a stay here for a night or two if you travel in for a game would be a suitable base.
- Mconstantino (6/5): Basic, good value for a night's sleep - We stayed there twice -- on our way to Chapada dos Guimarães and back from it.
There's a parking lot right in front. Location is good, central, right next to Getulio Vargas Av.
The room we got in the second time (124) was better than the previous (206). Both had air con, TV and fridge with honest prices. No shampoo. Looks like there are clear differences among the rooms -- if you arrive there w/out reservation, ask to check some of them before.
Staff was nice. 24hr reception did work fine!
This is a budget option and you get what you pay for -- it was the cheapest option in booking.com. I'd stay there again, good value.
- RobertG978 (6/5): Handy hotel for before and/or after a Pantanal trip - Very basic (but clean and with airco) the interior is quite outdated. However, it is a perfect hotel to stay a night if you plan (and/or come back from) a trip to the Pantanal or Chapada dos Guimaraes. Centrally located and breakfast is OK. Personnel does not speak English very well but is very friendly and helpfull (sometimes they used Google translate to communicate, which worked very well).
- dandani08 (4/5): Very Basic - Clean and basic but noisy air conditioning. You will be able to sleep here but it might not be a pleasant experience.
we stayed there one night before and one night after the pantanal and both rooms very noisy and small.
Very cheap and that is what you pay for.
Staff was friendly but no a word of english or spanish so we strugle a little.
cleniness was not an issue.
Breakfast was good.
- rsduarte (10/5): Well located, clean and cheap - I and my wife stayed for 2 nights at this hotel during the Carnival holiday. The rooms are clean, air conditioning worked well, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good and complete. Reception staff has been friendly and responsive every time we needed; they helped us to call for a pizza one night and to rent a car the next day. They even allowed us a late check out at 5 PM on the last day. The hotel is a little bit old but it was under renovation by the time we were there (for the 2014 World Cup...), however that was not problem since we stayed out during the day. At night there was always a security guard at the front door. Recommended.
- samy0400 (10/5): good choice - located in the centre but close to bus station to get to the bus terminal or airport, very clean rooms, friendly staff.
- Bard_Lucy_Hume_XI (6/5): Very clean but no English spoken at all - We found this hotel fine for a quick overnight stay. The place is fairly shabby and the decoration quite dated, but it is all in good working order and very clean. The air conditioning in our room was effective and very quiet.
The hotel felt safe and secure. When we arrived near midnight, the reception was still open, and there was a security guard as well.
Some basic Portuguese would be very useful, as we did not find anyone who spoke even a word of English – the receptionist simply looked at us blankly when we arrived and said we had a reservation under our name. (Luckily, we had Racquelle from Pantanal Nature on hand to help us out.)
We booked online through a Brazilian website, this seemed to result in us having a single room reserved instead of a double, this was not a problem though, other than us having to go and ask for towels in the morning as our room was only partially made.
Breakfast was the standard buffet of bread, cakes and scrambled eggs and a choice of fruit juices.
