• Verified traveler (10/5): - Our stay was amazing in Casa Brazil! The room was so clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the balcony was lovely. The staff were very friendly as well and the cats were very cute. We were a 5 minute walk from the beach (beach towels provided by guesthouse as well). I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

• iagotravels (8/5): Cozy Hotel with Attentive Staff - This hotel exudes a cozy atmosphere, and the staff is exceptionally attentive. We initially thought there might be some connection to Brazil due to the name, but in truth, there is no relation apart from the name. Our room lacked some maintenance, especially in the bathroom, where we encountered a minor issue, but it was promptly resolved. Rating: 7/10. It lost a few stars due to the comment in the previous paragraph, but I still recommend it, and if given the opportunity, we may return. I'll share more about the hotel on my Instagram @iagotravels.
• rikkefosse (10/5): 10/10 loved this hotel - What a beautiful hotel, me and my friend couldn’t be happier for our stay. The hotel has a beautiful jungle garden, with many cute cats. 🥰 Furthermore, the receptionists were really kind and helpful to us. They provided free water to us every day, and let us borrow beach towels. Free coffee and tea also. We loved the location, near the beach and the small shops. 10/10 for our stay- we recommend this hotel to the fullest if you’re staying in Karon. We will be back for sure!
• Worldismyoyster1070 (10/5): Great place to stay near the beach in Karon - This homestay is very clean and a great location close to Karon Beach. It is on a quiet street so you can sleep despite being near the beach. The staff are lovely and the breakfast is good and worth the money. The rooms are large and have fun, artistic decorations. I highly recommend it.
• DMBassani (10/5): Great place 🇹🇭🌟 - Great costumer service! Very friendly staff 🙂. Rooms were really good, clean and comfortable. Big bed, king size and everyday they change our towels and they smell so good ❤️. Great view from the mountains around and back of the big Buddha. Calm street, and at the same time 5 minutes walking from the main road. So you can have everything neat by. 12 minutes walking from the beach. They do offer beach towels if you need. Breakfast was good too. Fresh fruit and they give to you to choose the option 1 or 2 from the breakfast menu. Very simple but complete and tasty 😋 breakfast. Don’t get confused by the name, no Brazilians around, but really nice and friendly staff. Certainly I would recommend this place 🌟.
• amirf_1984 (8/5): Lovely Low-Key Guesthouse in Phuket's Karon Beach - A wonderful, unassuming guesthouse in Phuket's Karon Beach. Great location, terrific staff, amazing value for money. I extended my stay here from 3 to 6 nights, so happy with this place's simple yet unique atmosphere and amenities.
• dgl1979 (10/5): good value - this is a good value choice in Karon. good location not far from the beach and large clean rooms. The lady on the front desk was very friendly and breakfast served each morning. I would stay here again.
• 255odettef (4/5): disappointing - It is very well located, but the place was very neglected. We could only speak English the first night as the other days people at reception don't speak English at all. We asked if they can do the room and change towels and the new towels were disgusting.

• Marisa (8/5): Very cute hotel. - This was such a cute place. We were mostly staying at hotels around this price range during our time in Thailand and this was our favorite: nice and clean, hot water, free breakfast. The manager (or who I assumed to be the manager) was very nice. When we got there we tried to confirm our kayaking tour and the company could not understand what I was saying and told me that we did not have a reservation. The manager then called them back for us and confirmed everything! She was so attentive and sweet the whole time. The only thing I would say is to order the scrambled eggs and not the fried eggs for breakfast.

• FLavia (6/5): - Le séjour aurait pu etre mieux. Nous avions pris deux chambres pour 2 couples. Les chambres ne se valaient pas. Une des douche avait l’eau chaude et l’autre non .. forte odeur d’humidité, la décoration très vétuste dans une des chambres et le bruit... Peut être que si les chambres n’avaient pas été si différente pour le même prix, nous aurions plus apprécié.. Personnel toutefois sympa.

• D6270FBlisam (10/5): Absolutely excellent stay - I stayed for 6 nights in October/November and for a budget accommodation, I could not fault it. The staff were lovely especially the lady in reception who even tried to book a flight for me when I had trouble with the airasia website. The room was large and had a superking bed. I had a small balcony and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There was a tv with a remote with a few English speaking channels. The bathroom had a shower and sink and soap and toilet roll was provided. The room was cleaned everyday and 2 bottles of water were out 8n the fridge in the room daily. So, for a budget place, it was incredibly good value, probably the best value and most friendly staff on my 3 month trip.
• CunningCrow (8/5): Quirky but quiet, close to beach - For the price (A$17/night in shoulder season), this guesthouse hotel was good value considering the very peaceful street we were on, the friendly staff, cute tropical setting plus proximity to beach and restaurants. There's no frills like pool or views and the balcony on the first floor looks over a thick strand of electrical cables, but overall still very worth the money for basic accomodation. Their own restaurant wasn't running and the front desk closes fairly early each evening so security wasn't so tight as anyone could walk off the street. But it was such a quiet street that it never felt like a threat. The room was basic but had a South American colour scheme, the tv was an old CRT and safe had problems a couple of times. But there was a fridge, good aircon, and a (Thai style) hard but decent queen bed. Overall we weren't unhappy with Casa Brazil as the staff were very pleasant and accomodating. If you need a budget no-frills place that has a relaxed and homey feel in a good location near Karon Beach then you can do much worse than this!

• Kristoffer (8/5): Enkelt, mysigt och prisvärt! - Nära till stranden. Lugn del av Karon. Trevlig personal som ställde upp när vi undrade något. Mysig liten innergård och matsal där frukosten serverades. Väldigt mysiga rum. Renligheten var sådär. Helhetsintryck mycket bra!

• PedroJapan (10/5): Warm, friendly, and quiet. - The rooms are very basic. Bring your own soap and shampoo. Clean towels daily, fresh sheets whenever you prefer, hot shower, cable, wifi, great AC, very clean rooms, comfy bed, amazing breakfast (fresh fruit daily), friendliest staff I have ever encountered (not because they have to be friendly, but because they actually genuinely are), and a quiet environment. I felt cared for and welcomed. Amazing establishment about 1 bloc from the beach and restaurants.

• RebecccaRenee (10/5): Simplicity and Serenity - Second time staying at casa Brazil. It is really peaceful and quiet. Rooms are very basic but well lit and clean. The showers are warm and the view from the rooms is, in my opinion quite lovely. I like the little balconies and I find the staff very friendly and helpful. Location is a close walk to the beach. Casa Brazil is my favorite in Karon.
• RebecccaRenee (10/5): Clean, Quiet and Convenient - Very affordable with a great location. Only a few minutes walk down to Karon Beach. The room was clean and quiet. The sheets and towels were replaced and the room was left nice and clean each day. The wifi was fast. At night it was very peaceful and overall it was a great place to get some rest. There was a safe provided in the room as well. I had a small balcony looking over a lush hillside. There are a few bars down the street but the nightlife was overall pretty mellow. Patong isn't far if you are wanting some more excitement in the evening. The staff here were also very kind and helpful.
• liyanahm (8/5): Cute bnb run by friendly staff! - Cute simple bnb run by lovely and friendly staff. Communication can be tricky but everyone is willing to try their best. Rooms are kept clean and tidy with working air conditioning and a slightly fuzzy tv- not that you need it as you are five minutes away from Karon beach! With lots of little shops, 7/11's and restaurants near by this little homestay is perfect for those on a budget just needing a place to rest for the night!
• jade55ta (10/5): Five-star service, keeps getting better - No five-star hotel can top the service here. In my booking about 3 months ahead Kae had offered to lend me a kettle. I did not remind nor mention anything about it before my check-in. It was a wonderful surprise to see the appliance in the room and Kae was't even around then. Now that's service from the heart. FYI, this is my first time meeting Kae, having only stayed here twice under Tidtee's management. Rare gem of a place and service quality. Bravo to the team.
• niamhmcg18 (10/5): A true gem in phuket! - Loved this place so much. Its location is perfect,just across the road from karon beach. We actually went a few mins down the road and found Kata beach even nicer. But the Casa Brazil was one of the loveliest places we stayed throughout our trip. The owner is such a nice helpful woman,couldnt do enough for us and has excellent english The rooms and decor is fab just very quirky with nice features dotted all around. The stairs are a work of art too. Spotlessly clean and towels and water replaced daily Karon is a quiet part of phuket,which we were pleased about. Also there is a nice bar down the road calls Ralphies. Another place with lovely helpful staff. Definetely consider Casa brazil if staying in Karon or kata.
• 803kirsteenb (8/5): Friendly place - We arrived in Karon and had not booked any accomodation. We came across Casa Brazil and really loved staying here. We had a fan room on the top floor overlooking the back of the hotel. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a side street so there is little traffics noise to be heard. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. There are a number if bars and places to eat all within a 2 minute walk. Karon is well located to visit BIg Buddha. The owner advised us how to get the local bus and then hail a taxi to get up the hill to see the Big Buddha. This saved money on getting a taxi from the hotel. It was a great experience to get the local bus. We would definitely recommend Casa Brazil. We had breakfast there which was good and reasonably priced.
• MelissaandTrevor (10/5): Hideaway Place - Stayed here 5 nights and loved it. Was the same set up as some of the bigger resorts but at a cheaper place. About a 10 minute walk to the beach. Very quiet area with some eateries around the place. Loved the decor and the lady is very friendly.
• BryanMah (8/5): Quirky homestay a stone's throw from the beach - This is my second stay at Casa Brazil. Like my first time that happened seven years ago in 2007, Casa Brazil still remain my top choice for accommodation in Karon. It's a short walk away from the awesome Karon Beach; near all the food, booze and shopping that you can find in Karon; coupled with friendly and helpful staff; clean rooms with psychedelic decor.. Well, the list goes on. Other than the not so stable wifi, I have no complains at all. Casa Brazil still remain my number one choice for Karon!
