- Crowley (10/5): You'll be silly not to. - Exceeded expectations. Great location, without hearing a peep from the outside world but being very much close enough to Noosa and surrounds. The hosts were very accommodating and not intrusive, while still being attentive. The bed was so perfect. Only staying two nights, leaving and the thought of having to cook my own breakfast tomorrow.

- Stephanie (10/5): A quiet oasis of paradise in National Forest - This is a quiet oasis of paradise. You’re tucked away but only 20 minutes or so from Noosa or Eumundi. It’s good to plan time just to hang out watching the kangaroos roam. Gina prepped us delicious breakfast under the gazebo. The outdoor spa bath was a true highlight for a total bath lover and even though it got nippy, a bath outside was something I now would love in my own home Literally nothing.

That we didn’t book and extra night to hang around during the day and enjoy the pool and spa.

The rooms are all individually and beautifully decorated. The pool is refreshing, breakfast was healthy, fresh food and the wildlife around the property is in abundance.

The breakfast was wonderful and the host were lovely! The road into the property was almost a dirt track which wasn’t good for my low profile car and was a concern! I feel that there should be some sort of a disclaimer explaining about the road in because certain cars could get damaged, particularly if you drive a sports car like mine.

The location, nestled in nature, was beautiful and perfect for a little getaway. We were able to observe numerous birds and even kangaroos in the garden – a truly special experience. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing atmosphere. Duncan prepared a fantastic dinner for us on a Sunday, and the breakfast was tailored to our personal preferences. The room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed and equipped with everything we needed.
- michael (10/5): - Don’t be put off by the drive in the property is beautiful the blue room I stayed in was large and well furnished with every amenity you could with for I spent my days swimming lengths and in the generous pool relaxing in the hot tub and watching the many wallaby’s munching on their grass. Don’t forget to book the three course meal the food was delicious. The treatments were also excellent.

We have a wonderful time in the solitude and peaceful surroundings. The kanagroos watching us unload our car were an added nature surprise.

- Anne (10/5): Luxurious stay, immersed in nature. - This is a beautiful property in a stunning location. It's close to the Everglades and busy Noosa beaches, but in a completely calm and tranquil setting, immersed in Nature. The hosts could not have been more welcoming, friendly and professional. We enjoyed a gastronomic dinner on the first evening, and the breakfasts were great. The pool was a welcome treat after a day exploring the area and we had the added pleasure of watching a family of kangaroos on the lawn.

- Serge (10/5): Oh my Lord. This was, WOW!!! - This was an incredible experience. We experienced something rare here. Australian rainforest with sounds and sights to delight. Rooms gracefully created. Feelings of peace we didn't know existed. Hosts that are as present or absent as you desire. Insightful, lovely hosts. We left and began to miss it in increasing intensity. You just can't buy stuff like this... The 3km access road is not perfect but ok if you drive a car at maximum 40kph. SUV or 4WD no problem at all.

Property is home to lots of fresh produce and a even a baker in the studio out back. We had a couples massage organised for us for the afternoon we arrived after a request a couple of weeks out. Cannot fault these guys for their communication, delivery and facility. We’ll spread the word and definitely be back.

Simple as that. The wonderful couple that facilitate this place ensure that you feel welcome. We were made to feel far more than welcome. I will recommend this place to everyone, given it’s flawless. Yes you’re 13km’s outside the main drag, but I’d rather chilling with Duncan, than ensconced with Hastings St shops. Accommodation is a huge factor when booking holidays, so please factor in this place. It’s assured that you won’t regret. Ps. Love the fire place and kangaroos.

Duncan is the most warm welcoming man, we where offered a free upgrade right after booking and the room we stayed in was huge and so beautiful, with massive glass doors that over look the most peaceful scenery. We were jaw dropped. The ladies that gave us massages where wonderful, ask for Jude, she is an absolute goddess! Breakfast was beautiful, and served to us right at the time we requested, all set out nicely next to the pool over looking the gardens. Not only did Duncan make our requests from scratch after an early morning trip to the farmers market, he cooked us a few plates of sides which where absolutely delicious honestly the best breakfast we have ever had! I cannot recommend staying here enough, it is far better then any hotel we have ever stayed in or any cafe we have eaten in! Thank you guys x
- MATTHEW (10/5): 5 star accommodation that's not in a hotel. - Put simply, it is one of the few places in the world I wish I'd made plans to stay longer. The house, grounds, rooms, service by the lovely owners was all exquisite. I was somewhat sceptical of the many 5 star ratings but like others, we were not disappointed other than the fact we were only there for 1 night and not longer. The owners do a great job of providing a great service and food whilst at their home but allow you the freedom so as to not make anything feel awkward. It's close to Noosa and surrounds but allows you to feel like you've truly escaped.The rooms are beautifully decorated and I can highly recommend the room with the hot tub under the stars - true once in a lifetime views. For a romantic break or a few nights to see the area and use as a base, the place is great.

Alaya Verde is set in beautiful serene bushland approximately 1/2hour drive from Noosa Heads. The attention to detail is stunning. Our room was immaculate and luxurious. Mikaela and Elly (the "stand in hosts") were so welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. We were given a superb introduction to the facilities, ensuring that our stay was very very comfortable. And the breakfast the next morning - perfect. We didn't want to leave!!
