- Jürg (1/5): happy that we spent only one night - Err, that's a very good question. I loved the beach part, that's at the moment the only part where it was tolerable to stay. The guys at the beach as well do there job with a certain grandezza under the given circumstances. We really used to like to come to the Nautilus Hotel. It used to be one of the most reasonable hotels in SoBe with direct beach access. We loved the rooms with sea view. At the moment the place is just in the middle of a huge costuction site und under construction itself. Lobby, restaurant and pool bar are closed. I asked the lady at the counter if the pool was open. Yes it was indeed, but it was not the place you want to spend any time with all the noise, dust, animal shit and no pool bar. I think it would be more honest to close the place down for the time being. I feel very sorry for the guests who have to endure more than 1 night. Our room was dated and the view led to the windowless fassade next door. The breakfast was a joke.
- abdullah (1/5): “The stay was disappointing due to ongoing maintenance, lack of basic amenities, constant disturbance, and poor overall - Nothing * Maintenance work taking place throughout the property.
* Water supply was completely shut off, with the hotel only informing guests it would be unavailable between 11 AM and 4 PM.
* No hot water available at all, even after the maintenance was supposedly completed.
* Constant noise, drilling, and construction disturbance, despite this being marketed as a luxury and relaxation-focused property.
* Basic luxury amenities commonly expected in reputable hotels were missing — no bathrobes and no slippers provided.
* Only one elevator available, and it smelled strongly of maintenance chemicals and was noticeably dirty.
* Even the outdoor seating required an additional charge of $35 per person.
- Kristy (10/5): Would stay again - Location!!! Great Location for what we wanted to do. Construction but they took care of us with the cost because of it. Loved that it was right on the beach! There was an African American gentleman named Jeremy or Jeremiah that assisted us. It was absolutely amazing and took amazing care of us. He made the annoyance of construction bearable

- joshdotp (2/5): I’ve traveled the world. This is the worst hotel on the planet. I’d rather sleep on the sidewalk in a tent. - The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’ve traveled to 30+ countries. I’ve stayed in 300+ hotels on HotelTonight. I’m a power user of AirBnB. This takes the cake. The. Worst. Of. All. Time.
- Roig (1/5): -
- Adam (1/5): Don’t bother - Close to beach and convention centre Awful stay. Dirty rooms, no facilities, rude staff, disgusting pool, disgusting pool beds.
- sola_ras2026 (10/5): The workers make it - Chris the beach attendant was helpful! The hotel was not in the best condition but the workers tried to help. The workers did not complain nor bad talked the company which was amazing due to circumstances. Front desk attendants were awesome too.
- Q454FAalexish (10/5): Mother & Daughter trip - Chris was great! He made our stay extra special.
- michaellM1477UP (10/5): Great experience. - Christian was so helpful and really great with our family!
- joefC4786DX (10/5): Honeymoon stay on south beach miami - We visited Miami frkm Wales on our Honeymoon and we dealt with Cristian. He was extremely helpful and polite. We recommend him highly, thank you

- Joshua (4/5): It was just ok. To much construction going on at the property to enjoy it. Good location though. - Location was great. Most of the property is under construction. They would also start construction early in the morning, jack hammering and sawing so you will not sleep well. Was hard valeting the car a couple times due to construction at the entrance with workers present. Pool was functional but there is demolition in areas around the pool due to construction. I would make sure the construction is finished before staying here.
- N1315USmariannes (10/5): Yisley, server in Restaurant, gave us outstanding customer service! - At Sonesta Nautilus Miami Beach, I had the pleasure of being served by a true professional! Yisley truly understands customer service and is a huge asset to the company. Sonesta is lucky to have him! He should be training every employee on how to give outstanding customer service!
- C5005SQrebeccah (10/5): Loved it - Christian was a star, so helpful thank you!
- zoubairb712 (10/5): Staying at the nautilus sonesta - The staff were so nice so helpful they went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and everything hat we had nice stay. We had a very comfortable stay
- Andrzej (4/5): Hotel under construction/ great location. - Great location, nice stuff and clean comfy room. This hotel is under construction currently. No lobby, and restaurant or bar. Limited access to the pool. Noise from the renovation from early morning.
- Philip (8/5): - Great location Construction site next door, although not the fault of the hotel.
- mimimom (4/5): Do not stay here during construction- terrible! - For the first time in 30+ years of travel, we left a hotel after one night. This hotel should not be operating in the current state it is in. There is construction EVERYWHERE. No lobby, just a couple desks in a makeshift hallway. The restaurant is a dark room and no dinner is served. No bar. We had a view of construction debris. The hallway was so dark it was scary. There was only one elevator operating and I think only one floor with actual guests- the place was dead and devoid of life. My son wanted to use the gym that was advertised, but no, closed during construction.
At 8:00 a.m. the pounding and drilling from the construction started. It went all day. We left and moved to the Loewes down the street which luckily had a room.
For the price, this experience was ridiculous as this hotel is not cheap.
This would be a one star review but Jeremy at the front desk was helpful and understanding, and gave us half off our first night as well as refunding our next 3 nights stay,
Perhaps when the construction is done this will be a nice hotel. Right now, people have to be aware of what they are getting. I would suggest anyone who has this place booked to find a different hotel. Please note that many recent 5 star reviews only talk about the service at the beach, not the actual hotel experience.
- neta (6/5): -
- Gilberto (7/5): Can't wait when the hotel refurbishment ends to see how nice it will be - The whole hotel team was very nice and worked hard to compensate the hotel is under a huge refurbishment ,Tatiana ,from the front desk was amazing , as the whole hotel team I think the hotel should need to explain very clearly how is the condition of the service and what is closed ,The Fitness Center was closed, Spa ,Closed,no Room service, the pool was closed but some people were swimming ,there was no hot water in my room, so it's better contact the hotel before you make the reservation

- Tophelipilot (10/5): Best beach in Miami Beach - The beach great, and even better with beach staff. Cristian made a difference in kindness and great customer support
- Ignacio (10/5): EXCELENTE PARA DESCANSAR Y TRABAJAR - ME SIENTO MUY CÓMODO SON TODOS MUY AMABLES. GRACIAS JEREMI, VALENTINA Y STAFF DEL RESTAURANT YIS Y ADRIÁN, TAMBIÉN PLAYA ISAAC..
- lindseye482 (10/5): Beach fun at Nautilis - Thank you Cristian for the amazing set up at the beach!
- ceydas2026 (2/5): Dissapointed - Dear Management,
I visit Miami every three months to relax and clear my mind, and I have stayed at many hotels along Collins Avenue before. I have also stayed at your hotel in the past. However, during this visit, I was deeply disappointed in every way.
First of all, I do not understand why a hotel that is still under construction would be open to guests. The ongoing construction significantly affected the comfort and quality of my stay.
I would also like to share an incident that happened today. My son was feeling unwell, and since my room key was with my husband, I went to the reception desk and politely asked the staff member to help me access our room. Despite giving my husband’s name, the receptionist did not believe me and spoke to me with a sarcastic smile. I have never been treated this way in my life.
This has been, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your service standards.
- Dreamer721253 (10/5): Great Staff - The 5 star rating is for the service. From the front desk to the beach, the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Kymani and Cris did a great job setting us up on the beach and checking in throughout our stay. They made our beach time enjoyable despite the construction which is more than we expected from the pics and description online.
I do wish the hotel would put water coolers out in the hotel and at the beach bar. There is nowhere to get cold water without spending $14 a bottle or going back into the hotel if the restaurant was open
- Whitten (6/5): Friendly Staff, clean, expensive, small, under construction. - Staff and location. Was under construction, amenities were lacking. Rooms were very small. Could be a lot better for the cost.
- Mykyta (1/5): terrible experience, would never recommend. - Hotel was under renovation which was never mentioned to me. their handymen/workers started their day with terrible noise at 6.40-7AM EVERY DAY. Phone and TV didn`t work, water was leaking from the shower, pool was open till 4PM only and was dirty. room was tiny and window was dirty and facing construction. for the price they charge I would never go there.
- yulya (1/5): Horrible experience, ruined weekend in sunny Miami Beach. Too bad that you do not let attached move. - Nothing, hotel is under construction. Hotel is under construction, all promised amenities are not available including pool area dining facilities, lobby .
Building looks after the war and construction noise started at 8am on Saturday.
Booking.com did not informed about current construction and charge the full amount 3 days prior to arrival, which is not acceptable in those conditions, since we arrived at 8 pm and car was already valleyed overnight. Hotel was basically empty...What a huge disappointment with Booking.com - charge $500 a night for such disaster. We will make official complain for this practice - we used your site for many years traveling overseas and locally, but not anymore.
- Amanda (8/5): -
- Sabrina (10/5): Great for family trip! - Small not overly crowded and was able to fit family of 6 in one room. Not for cost but for all being together Roof top wasn’t available

- Prof. Dr. Sara (7/5): -
- Wilbert (7/5): a Very Good Property in the making - Location - Location - Location it was Good - once the construction is completed - it should be EXCELLENT
- Katia (1/5): Hôtel ultra bruyant en travaux ! Passez votre chemin !

- maple (10/5): I’ll be back - Beach All ok
- Alfonso Garay (7/5): - Personal,
- ninapV6852QF (10/5): Best day - This was the best discovery. We had such a relaxing day. The staff was so nice and helpful. Issac in particular was very accommodating and seemed to really care about each of the guests experience. I would definitely come back.
- Sactoflyer (2/5): Creep Show Hallway Lighting and Construction Noise - Avoid this place at all costs. We had booked their most expensive ocean view rooms only to find active construction going on even on weekends. Constant drilling, sawing and scraping noises coming through the wall. This went on past 6:30 in the evening. No notice about construction provided before arrival or at check-in.
Hallways are also creepily dark and poorly lit. Our female felt uneasy going to her room because the is no floor security, meaning that anyone can walk into the hotel and take the elevator to any guest floor without needing a room key. Very unsafe and pretty shameful in this day and age.
Also they only have two elevators and one was out of service for most of our stay.
We were supposed to stay four nights and left after one. One of the worst hotel experiences ever. Oddly, their restaurant food was guide good.
- Anabela (10/5): Muy buena experiencia!!!
Desactualizados y no estaban limpios
Los espacios exteriores merecen una actualización
- Florencia (3/5): - Location is very good They didn’t have hot water! They promise to fix it during 3 days but they didn’t! I should change hotel.
In addition, they are doing big big construction in the next hotel. It is very noise! You can hear that from the room, pool, etc.
- Rana Hadad (7/5): Unfortunately, my overall experience was stressful and fell significantly short of expectations. - Despite paying USD 400 per night, I was initially assigned a room with a window facing a wall. I was told this was what I had booked, and only after lengthy discussions and speaking with the manager was I moved to another room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in that room did not work. After more than two hours of unsuccessful repair attempts, I had to be moved again to a different room.
Additionally, I was not allowed to check in until incidentals were paid. Due to issues with my Visa card, I was forced to use the hotel’s guest internet to complete the payment, putting my account at risk while still being denied access to my room.
This is not the first time I have faced such issues when booking through Booking.com. The experience was far below the standard expected for a hotel at this price level. I request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate compensation be considered. I was dissatisfied with the way I was treated during check-in, simply because my reservation was made through Booking.com.
- Jess (4/5): Location great, rooms were not. - The location was great being so close to the beach and it was in a nice part of south beach My first room was so loud I had to move as I could hear every word of my neighbor. When they moved me to a different room, it was quiet but even worse views or messy rooftops and construction. The front desk were extremely unhelpful.
- Rachel (9/5): Nice hotel, great staff, beautiful grounds - The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The pool and beach were easily accessible and clean Online it says renovation was only starting next month but it had already started so it was a little bit of bummer to hear it and to see a huge crane right next to the beautiful view
- Valwess (10/5): Another great stay at the Nautilus - Had another wonderful stay at the Nautilus. What makes this hotel so special are the staff. There was an issue with my room at check in and Nahum at the front desk made sure it was handled quickly to my satisfaction. He did a great job.
Samson at the beach always welcomes me back like I’m a family member coming home for thanksgiving. He is always a joy.
Matias at the coffee cart was a pleasure to see every morning with a smile. Kevin, the newbie at the beach was a delight.
- tracyrS2387NF (10/5): A warm welcome goes a long way! - What a beautiful hotel and the location is great. Plenty of restaurants and beach front is amazing. I was great at the front desk with a warm and welcoming smile! Alexis made me feel right at home. Sharing hotel information offering to provide restaurant recommendations. It was exactly how one would want to greeted checking in to a hotel! I’d definitely come back!!
- 19goSkins (6/5): Great location, but worn with small rooms - Pool and beach appeared very nice, but I didn’t really get a chance to use either. Michael at the bar was outstanding. But the hallways were exceedingly dark, which might have been on purpose to cover up the extremely worn floors. Rooms had a cool bar cart, but were otherwise undersized.
- Code (7/5): -
- Antonello (2/5): Good location, very poor quality hotel - The location and breakfast were great The hotel is not worth the money they charge and they were renovating, so the noise and dust was terrible
- Kristen (10/5): -
- 982andreeb (2/5): Don't say here!! - After I booked through the hotel online, I received an email which stated it was under renovations on the facade of the building. I called the hotel and spoke to the conceirge as the entire point of this trip was to relax by the pool. They assured me it would be ok and would make a note on my reservation to put my room away from the work. Well, while I was undressing in my on the 2nd floor, workers appeared outside window. They had lunch outside my room. Then the next day while taking a nap, something hit my window so hard it woke me up- guy what? Workers outdid my window again. The property is in dire need of a renovation both in the room and outside. The bathroom is teeny teeny tiny outside on the pool deck. There are screws sticking up that will hurt you when you walk barefoot on them. The next-door property is also under construction so the entire time I was at the pool I was listening to banging, sawing, etc. I also paid extra for an early check-in which online stated around 11 AM. I was not checked in until way after 1 PM. I cannot recommend this property and I would not book here.
- B9801RApeterl (6/5): Check your bill. - Great location,clean spacious rooms.
We stayed four nights pre cruise and one night after.
I was told my bill invoice would be emailed for the four nights. The email never arrived after many attempts I was offered a paper billing on checking I was overcharged $198.48 for breakfasts that were never received.
We had breakfast one morning, which was signed for.
The $198.48 was charged back to my account.
When we returned post cruise,I asked if their process was working ok?I was told “you got your money back!”The room wasn’t ready and when it was we were assigned room 236.
Room 236 was clean and spacious and great views outside the window of a painters platform and rigging and construction debris.
We promptly asked the other receptionist
to be moved. After he viewed the photograph he said “that’s room 236”
He found us another room,
It felt as if we annoyed the first receptionist and he was paying us back.
The bill was correct for the single night and was issued on paper.

- Krystel (8/5): Great location - The location is excellent, and the pool with direct access to the beach and available chairs is fantastic. The staff at the beach and pool were friendly and very nice. It's an "old" hotel, so expect to hear some noise from other rooms and the corridor. That was the only part of our stay that wasn't great because we wanted to rest at night, but we were slightly disturbed by noise from other rooms. Also, the bathroom in the two-queen-bed room is really tiny.

- Katie (1/5): Don’t stay here! - Nothing… all my birthday stuff was sent to the wrong room… flowers, cake, rose, balloons, cards.. room was at least 80 degrees!!! I was VERY uncomfortable and finally they changed rooms the last night I was there. Honestly I should be getting at least a refund and nothing. Only thing I liked was location

- Regina (8/5): Localização excelente - Localização excelente. Hotel bom.
