Guest Reviews
- mark (10/5): Would stay here again if I came to see the Reds. -
- Aaron (5/5): To much for parking to stay at this hotel - The hotel was nice and decent The parking is a joke all the way around will never do that again
- Crystal (6/5): Nice hotel, close to everything! But should be able to have free parking if you stay! - I booked this hotel (Paying a lot more than I normally would for a room) because I thought parking would be included in my stay. Did not realize I would have to pay an extra $30-$40 for parking
- Vernon (10/5): Perfect - The bed was outstanding. Can you tell me what kind of mattress is on the bed?
- Kashea (10/5): -
- Jeff (10/5): - We liked everything from smooth check in to the great location. N/A

- Rita (9/5): I enjoyed my stay. It was great to be so close to the Aronoff and Nicholsons. - The hotel is very close to the Aronoff, and the building is lovely. The elevator was super fast. There was plenty of hot water for a shower. I loved that you served chia pudding and overnight oats along with the hot breakfast items, which were also very good. I was hoping there would be a little fridge in the room. It would be helpful if there was some sort of parking available other than expensive valet service.
- Juan (8/5): It was wonderful - A mini refrigerator in my room.
- Steve (8/5): - Beatrice at the valet was awesome All the construction and price
- Ash (8/5): -
- Kenneth (9/5): -
- Robbins (8/5): Beautiful hotel, great location - Room was very spacious! The location of the tv in the room was not good as it wouldn’t turn enough for where to bed was or the couch! Also did not like having to pay 30$+ a night for the parking but anytime you left the parking garage the tie would stop and then restart when entering so 30$ turned more into 50-60$
- derek (2/5): Elevator stopped working in parking garage staff was little to no help nd had an attitude - Your joking right. There was no breakfast No fridge no microwave? Its a joke
- Irma (8/5): The location was the reason for my stay, and the surrounding restaurants are excellent. - Location was excellent. Room was large and comfortable.. Breakfast was not very good. Coffee not to my taste - very strong or overheated.
Valet service was poor.
- Courtney (10/5): Great experience great location! - Beautiful old hotel with modern amenities. Great location too - close to everything.
- Nichole (1/5): - Tried to contact the hotel multiple times and was told the manager was in a meeting or unavailable every time and assured I'd get a call back but I ended up paying for two nights and didnt stay because the hotel refused to contact me.
- Michael (8/5): Good stay celebrating my son’s graduation at Music Hall. - Good location downtown, close to restaurants. Seemed like construction going on in the Lobby, so pretty confined and not very welcoming.
- hannah (6/5): Calling this an average stay would be a stretch, but it served its purpose as far as being extremely close to where we n - Our room was not vacuumed, the mirrors & had hand prints & cloudy places. The room smelled terrible, like body odor, and dirt. It just gave the vibe of a quick clean job to get to the next room, which is not comforting. The staff was not very polite, it seemed much like we were an inconvenience to even be checking in, the property was not extremely clean. In addition, you could on operate the elevator by key cards, which is fine, but the system didn’t work great. My key card would turn the reader inside green, then wouldn’t work. My key would open my room door, so it wasn’t an issue with the card. It just took multiple tries to get the elevators going
- Worth (1/5): I know I didn’t book The Four Seasons but this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had - The breakfast was a standard continental breakfast. I guess it was decent for what it was, but it wasn’t a great breakfast. The room wasn’t ready to check in. We were gone all day. Nobody cleaned our room lights in the room didn’t work. Staff was rude. Wi-Fi in the room didn’t work.
- tom (10/5): -
- Tonya (8/5): Beautiful clean room that was very spacious but breakfast area was understaffed and it was lacking a clearly marked lob - Location, large rooms, clean facilities Unclear labeling on entryway, no staff at ground level to confirm correct location, I had to enter and take the elevator to 2nd floor to a lobby -no lobby on ground floor
- carlethea (10/5): I highly recommend hotel - Excellent customer service. Great location Small elevator
- Malachi (9/5): - N/A N/A
- Joanne (9/5): Just stayed one night. Enjoyed the breakfast - Allows pets. Complimentary breakfast
- Lowery (10/5): -
- Janet (8/5): Absolutely would stay there again - Great location.. once we parked, we could walk to everyplace Construction was taking place
- Jason (10/5): -
- Abby (7/5): - Friendly staff and close to Aronoff The toilet kept running Ang the fan was very loud and turned on every 10 minutes.
- Tahira (7/5): -
- Marshall (9/5): Nice and quiet - It was clean Parking expensive
- Sarah (10/5): - The pillows. Not hard enough
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Joselyn (1/5): -
- Katrina (10/5): - Good location. Blocks from free streetcar to take you pretty much anywhere from downtown to Findlay market Curtains had spots of stuff on them. No blackout curtains on south side of room. A bit noisy. Parking was expensive. Parking garages near by are hard to navigate and elevators broken.
- Allison (10/5): Could not have been happier with our hotel choice! - Room was amazing, hotel staff were the nicest and very helpful, location could not be beat, valet staff were incredibly nice and fast, and breakfast was wonderful! There wasn't anything we didn't like.
- Jeremy (10/5): - The location is central to downtown. The floor I was on was also recently renovated--it had the new carpet smell. The room was spacious. The gym had decent equipment.
- Mark (8/5): -
- Matteo (10/5): - Position and clean/new rooms Maybe the view that was all in the back with only other building
- Kristine (10/5): NO FREE PARKING! - Breakfast was great NO FREE PARKING!!!
Parking garage HAS TO FIX THE ELEVATOR ASAP! I was informed it has been broken down for over a YEAR! GUEST EXPECTED TO CARRY LUGGAGE UP AND DOWN STAIRWAY!
- valerieb808 (10/5): Perfect for weekend events - We love this location. The rooms are clean, the noise lever is zero, and the atmosphere is chic downtown. It's a value if you consider all of the places you can walk to, including the REDS baseball stadium and the service you get from pretty much anywhere you go downtown. They have a great breakfast and valet parking. The only downside is the parking downtown is about $50 before tips. We catch an Uber to Riverbend and have no trouble getting a ride back.
- Dawn (10/5): -
- Melissa (8/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): - Breakfast was good, room was comfortable. Location was perfect for the walk to arena. Would recommend!!!
- David (7/5): Wonderful Staff and Location! - The staff was amazing! The food service had the most attentive and gracious hosts I've ever seen at a Hampton Inn. The first room was loud, so the front desk changed me to a perfect location. They were amazing considering they are in the middle of a renovation. The paid parking was a mess. The ground floor lobby was dark and open to the public. There was construction going on for a renovation which should have been noted. My original room 1216 had a terrible buzzing noise from the heating unit.
- Kirsten (9/5): - Newly remodeled Very large rooms
- Tiffany (10/5): -
- Tiffany (10/5): -
- Trish (10/5): Beautiful hotel and nice rooms and it’s quiet. - The night clerk was very nice. We didn’t arrive until after 10pm. The room was very clean and spacious! The breakfast was very good the next day and the staff was helpful, too. The pot smell in the outer lobby was crazy! We come from Ky and we didn’t know it was legal in Cincinnati.
- Lauren (9/5): -
- shirley (8/5): - Bed was amazingly confortable, room was huge. Elevators could have been explained better.
Elevator in adjacent parking garage was broken. We were dealing with recent knee replacement so this was not good. The parking possibilities could have been much better explained before arrival.
- Lisa (3/5): Not to the standard of other Hampton Inns - The bed was comfortable. The staff member at breakfast was so nice. He changed the TV so we could watch the USA gold medal hockey game. He was the best part of the stay. Breakfast was just okay. I requested a room with a skyline view and did not receive that. They had me wait an additional hour before I could get in a room that had a partial view but never called me to tell me it was ready. I waited and waited and finally called the front desk and they said I could come down. There was construction being done in the lobby and the smell of chemicals was very strong. My partner had a hard time breathing from the fumes. The rooms are old and the bathroom door had to be closed for me to even use the restroom. The shower door hit the door so you had to walk in the bathroom, close the door and then you could open shower door. For the price I paid, and the quality I expect from a Hampton Inn, I was very disappointed. I am a Hilton Honors member and had to ask to get my waters when checking in. Breakfast was cold, the oatmeal was runny and the entire area was dirty. The valet was ridiculous. They did have 2 people working but the wait time at checkout (11:00 am) was unacceptable. As a Hilton Honors member there are lots of options to stay at hotels and after this experience, I will not return to this specific location until some improvements and upgrades have been done. The staff were not friendly when checking in, and equally as unhelpful when checking out.

- Kaylie (9/5): -
- Culture25456431201 (10/5): Great stay - Valet was great. Very fast and attentive Jensen was very friendly and Kaye was very fast at retrieving our vehicle. Hotel was very clean Would recommend and stay again
- Jarad (7/5): -
- Leigh (9/5): Came for a Staycation in the city and it was really nice. Walked to several places easily . Will definitely be back. - Very clean and nice. In walking distance to many activities. We went during an extremely cold time and the building is older but the room was chilly no matter how we set the heat.
- Benjamin (7/5): -
- Marcus (8/5): -
- Kimberly (1/5): The worst! - a shower that you wouldn't bust your butt if you fell, no safety strips on the tub, how about hot water????
every other hampton inn i've stayed at has mini fridges, why do you not??
Holes in the Curtain, Really how is one to sleep, and lets not forget the view, nothing but men working on the roof, and noise!! BAD BAD
- Clayton (9/5): Great experience, great city. - There were a few people on the street that should not be on the street for public safety reasons.
- Michael (10/5): Had a great time. Will stay here again - The history of the building. The location.
- Eddie (1/5): To quote the famous Charles Barkley it was terrible. - Close proximity to the venue I was under the impression that parking was provided. By the way the Booking.com app presented parking and it was not. There was a dog across from our room that barked all freaking night long and I called the front desk to complain and finally the dog got shut up about 15 minutes before I had to get up. I requested a refrigerator for my medication‘s. I did not know that there was not a refrigerator in the room. I asked them to bring the refrigerator and they said they would, but they never did. My medication were ruined. I am lucky I did not die. I would never stay here again.

- Monica (9/5): - Staff was very courteous and helpful
- Sandra (10/5): -
- Shaton (8/5): -
- Alicia (9/5): -
- John Millman (10/5): I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and comfort for the price. - Room was outstanding for the price. Quiet and extremely comfortable. Nice staff and wonderful breakfast. Had a little trouble finding hotel … outside sign dark and vertical.
- Kevin (9/5): -
- Denise (10/5): Great location, large room excellent breakfast - Beautiful property in downtown Cincinnati really close to everything. The King suite was absolutely amazing so much room and so nice. Hotel was very secure. You have to take an elevator to get up to the desk and up to your room, but it was worth it being higher up because the view was nice.
- Arturo (10/5): -
- Nait Bouda (9/5): - Everything No free parking
- Lizilbeth (7/5): - Breakfast is good! No cleaning on 3 nights
- Kyle (10/5): -
- Walter (10/5): Probably one of the best stays I’ve had. A/c worked good heat worked good and couldn’t hear neighbor - Breakfast was good, staff was phenomenal, valet was phenomenal Wish there had been more sit down restaurants family friendly around the hotel and also that it hadn’t been so cold
- Nicholas (10/5): - Definitely like the upgrades. Just wish there was parking for the people that stay there. Parking
- Christie (9/5): -
- Lea (8/5): Great location, clean, courteous employees and affordable! - The rooms were clean and very spacious and the employees were courteous and helpful. Parking. It’s not as bad once you know but if you don’t valet it can be tricky getting out of the garage.
We used the digital room key, this does not work for the elevator so you’ll still need a room key!
- Deon (10/5): It was beautiful - The room was big. Great service and very clean.
- M6906DIjustinw (10/5): Great time! - Everything was smooth and great! Had a wonderful time! Would recommend to anybody coming into the area. Hopefully will be back
- Flowers (9/5): Wonderful building, staff, and location!!! - Loved staying in Downtown, because we were able to walk to the music venue, and the restaurant we went to. It was a beautiful old building, that was renovated nicely!
- Carolina (9/5): -
- Maxine (10/5): -
- shawn (8/5): - Breakfast was good Nuthing really
- Plesnick (8/5): The facility is in downtown of a large city. It was as nice as it can probably be. - Very old building, maintained some of its old charm. No parking.
- Matthew (9/5): -
- June (6/5): Great location and staff but some facilities were basic - Location, staff, upgraded to a lovely room, decent coffee 24/7 Poor breakfast, wi-fi not always available especially on the floor where breakfast was held, bathroom accessories basic
- Conina (6/5): - Desayuno regular El personal de recepción
- bonnied877 (8/5): Good location/needs upgrade - Good location near Fountain Square and the Connector (free streetcar!), but hallway carpets need cleaning (very stained) and furniture in room was scraped. Probably needs a good upgrade, though the staff was super friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast.
