The said, BOOKING.COM didn't do it. That's why there are redundant reservations for this room. When the room type is not as reserved, how do I handle it? And how can my children sleep separately from me?

• Chen (9/5): very nice hotel with a great location, great value for money. clean and new. - we asked for 2 rooms and we got 2 connected room, our kids was very happy with it. rooms was clean and beds were comfort. parking also available in the hotel, its 5 minute drive from the central surathani mall, 1 minute from seven-eleven i didnt like the breakfast as it has only few options.

• גדרון (6/5): Bad experience - Clean, comfortable , close to the airport Staf didn't understand a word in English, and laughed on us when we tried to communicate. We came after a 12 hours drive and the last thing we needed was to be treated like that. Also the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and we couldn't get to the 7 eleven store across the road because it was too dangerous, so we got stuck with no drinking water and the crew wasn't helpful at all.

• Dan (8/5): Very good - The hotel is located about 25 minutes drive from the airport, and next to the hotel, about 3 minutes drive there is a big shopping center with a huge food area and big supermarket. The hotel itself is what we expected from a one night stay that will bring us closer to the airport. There is a language barrier between English speakers and the staff, and it can cause some inconvenience.

• Jess (4/5): Passing night, not long stay - That it is close to the airport and the town, nothing more. The girl who received us at the reception was a bit rude, when she returned our passports, she did not hand them over to us but rather threw them away. She gives us a room with a single bed, and the reservation was for two separate beds. I had to go down and request the change, she said that she couldn't, to which she showed her the booking and she quietly made the change without saying anything. But her attitude was always like she was mad at us for something.

Bathroom door broken on the back side, holes in the linens. Maintenance is not done as much as needed which I fully understand in these times. Although I like the hotel in general and the location.

• Bradley (4/5): So much for someones word - Asked for late check out flying 24 hours back to denver, they normally check out noon, asked for 1 oclock. 12:30 i get a call u need to check out. Same person who gave me 1 oclock check out rushed got down 1240 they said extra charge now for checking out late. Argued to no avail. Wont be going back really a dump, i got last room checking in 8pm charge was 100 usd when normal rate was 45. In middle of now where, full because of wedding..congrats..wont be back..

Sängarna är något hårda, som vanligt på billigare hotel i Thailand. Typisk Thailändsk hotellfrukost, ris och nudlerätter, kycklingkorv, skinka, kaffe, juice och rostbröd. Ingen västerländsk frukost. Kommer att boka detta hotel vid min nästa vistelse i Surat Thani.

The restaurant offers decent Thai food with affordable price. The hotel also provides excellent airport transfer service at affordable price. Highly recommend for those who wish to have a quiet and peaceful stay before transiting to their next destination.

With the language barrier I was having trouble understanding what she was asking me when we first walked in, I said "yes two people" as it sounded like she was asking how many persons there were, I finally realized she was saying "passports" I responded with "oh our passports,okay" while handing her mine and my friend's. She looked at the other girl working the desk with her and told her in English rudely "that's what I said"

• courtney (4/5): Rude staff - Our stay at S Tara Hotel Surat Thani was not as expected from the past comments as viewed in Trip adviser. When we arrived, we were well greeted by the bell boy, whom was the only kind and well mannered person there. The worst of the whole stay are the receptionist. We wanted to inquire about the transport from the hotel to the airport. One particular one named Orrachorn, informed us that the normal sedan car cannot fit the 4 of us (2 men 2 women), including our backpacks because we were too big. The following which I am about to tell is why we were so mad. 1) We are 4 Asians from Malaysia and our total weight definitely do not exceed 300kg including our luggage. 2) Our journey was from Bangkok to Hua Hin, then to Chumphon and lastly Surat Thani. We were all well fitted in tut tuts as well as taxis. 3) Each of us had 1 back pack each (2 75L and 2 55L – not full). We girls had an extra hand bag each. 4) We really do not need a VAN for the 4 of us. On the advertising paper on the counter, sedan cars are for maximum 4 pax, and vans are for 5-12 pax. 5) We had to confirm with deposit immediately. Now, this is why she insisted we had to take a van. A TAXI will only cost 500 Baht, while a VAN will cost 1,000 Baht. After going to our rooms and talking about it in the lift, we felt cheated. So, the 2 men went to the reception again to reconfirm on the size of the sedan car, as most of the taxi in Bangkok were comfortable Toyotas which fitted all 4 of
