Clean bathroom and separate shower stall, kettle etc. Value for money for my needs. TV a bit too high, screen image was distorted. Mattress a little tired. Minor points only.

- Simon Woolaston (5/5): - The location was great, the room was clean. The room and facilities were adequate at best bug the breakfast experience left a lot to be desired. I had read good things about the breakfast but we waited nearly 40 minutes for our full english only for it to turn up with cold straight from the tin, baked beans. Had it been quicker we might have sent it back but we had two little ones in the group that needed feeding.

However, with all the excitement in Blackpool over the weekend, we weren't able to watch Strictly Come Dancing on TV Saturday night due to some technical issues. The room was cold when we got there on Friday, but Patrick assisted us with a portable heater to help heat the room, which was lovely. I believe the checkout time could be extended to 12 pm. without any further charges. Our room was upstairs, so Patrick and Adam kindly helped us to put the luggage inside. This is greatly appreciated. I like the great help from Patrick and Adam. They were willing really helpful, regardless of our concerns.

- Shaun (4/5): Lovely stag and communal area absolutely rotten pit of a bedroom - Staff were lovely very likeable people and the bar and communal areas were very nice and well kept The room we were given was absolutely awful, wallpaper peeling off the ceiling net curtains were black the floor was lifting up it was so bad we actually debated whether to stay or just drive home honestly if I could have had my money back I’d have left within a minute of seeing the room we all agreed it was the worst hotel room we’d ever had

- Denis (4/5): Had a lovely 3 nights in Blackpool South pier side for a change. - Breakfast was lovely, staff were friendly, location was good. Enjoyed a few games of Pool & ice hockey with our grandson in the little games room. Room was quite small, not much storage for 3 of us, but it was only 3 nights. Bathroom door didn't shut properly or lock. Skirtings need re painting, though it is the end of season. Our room was so hot even though we turned the radiator off, & the corridor to our room was even hotter, so uncomfortable. Our 18 year old granddaughter & her friend stayed in a different room which was even hotter, the radiator couldn't turn off so they gave them a fan.

- Yasmin (3/5): Disappointing as I paid £111 for a family room without breakfast for the night and then additional £10 to park my car at - Good location The TV didn’t work, no toilet roll on arrival asked for this from reception and was left with 3 rolls outside o our room. The mattress was awful on the double bed, felt like a roll out bed, it was springy and thin. The bunk bed for my two teens was awful, hard mattresses and creaked horrendously all night each time the children turned. It was cold, no way to increase the heat in the room overnight. The sink which is in the bedroom emptied drained really slowly, was worried it didn’t overflow when the kids brushed their teeth. Thankfully didn’t book breakfast.

Also the staff were pleasant Room was small and grubby. The carpets weren't even fitted properly.. It was just the room I was disappointed in. It didn't look like the pictures. It was like a disappointing catfish from Tinder. Other than the room, the place was okay. But rather pricey for what it is

- elizabeth (8/5): Would definitely stay there again the staff were so nice and accommodating - The location of the hotel is excellent for the beach, south pier and the pleasure beach. Being able at the property was a must for me. The hotel was a little shabby but it's Blackpool where everything is shabby. The timescale for breakfast was a little tight being just an hour between 8am and 9am.
- Callum (7/5): - Actual staff presence! The reception is staffed until 8pm. They gave me full explanation and helped me confirm that yes, my room DOES have hot water. Decor feels a bit nice. Kettle and such in room. Single bed room so I know I'm not overpaying for a double room. Could not get to sleep, sure I heard a spring in my mattress pop. But having trouble getting to sleep in hotel rooms is a common problem for me. Suspicious stain on sink and hot tap did not work. Exposure to noise from outside and within the hotel. A bit further south down the coast than I was expecting.

- Emma (10/5): Brilliant location, friendly staff, big room, comfy beds - Got there around 3pm and was greeted by a lovely gentlemen who showed us to our room. We were on the ground floor which was great as we had kids with us. We never used any of the facilities or had food there as we were out all day but the room was brilliant and the beds were so comfy. Location was great, right by the sandcastle waterpark, pleasure beach and south pier. The tower and central pier are within walking distance but you can get the tram or horse and carriage down if you wanted. Both children loved the room and asked can we come again 😄

The bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows for me felt rock solid. Also trying to make contact with the reception to arrange parking was absolutely terrible. Room fairly basic but we're not fussy people and you get what you pay for, it was clean and beds were fine, room did have a fridge which was nice. Breakfast amazing.
