Joe (8/5): Nice travel hotel in a safe area - easy parking and access on and off the freeway - room was good size, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and breakfast staff, had dinner on-site one night it was a nice meal. Staff and location was the best. Unfortunately our room was overlooking a field which was being dug up and starting each day at 0730 was a big digging machine working. Understand this was a temporary issue.

Niek (6/5): Voor kort verblijf ok - Personeel & hygiene Ik slaap hier meerdere keren per jaar voor zaken in NL, maar toch blijft deze van der valk altijd wel wat tegenvallen. Het gebouw , en de kamers vallen vaak wat tegen. Het is oud, en niet wat ik gewend ben van Van der Valk. Kamers zijn aan renovatie toe, en toch betaal ik vaak de volle pond. Volgende keer toch maar kijken naar Van der Valk Leeuwarden of Groningen

Renée (7/5): Oké, maar wel wat aan de prijs voor het geleverde. - Hotel was tijdens ons verblijf nog in een verbouwing. Op zich prima kamer, fijn restaurant erbij. Personeel was erg onwennig en sommigen erg onervaren. Ook was er vermoedelijk sprake van een tekort, waardoor het ontbijt bijvoorbeeld wat traag werd aangevuld. Ook was men, ondanks van tevoren te hebben overlegd, niet erg soepel met de inchecktijd. Dat maakt de prijs van 1 overnachting met ontbijt iets aan de hoge kant.

Rob (8/5): Aangenaam verblijf - Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en de ontbijtruimte als zowel kamer was smaakvol ingericht. Wat minder ruimte om spulletjes kwijt te kunnen in badkamer en onhandig dat het badhanddoeken rek cq verwarming boven het bad hing. In de gang echter veel bergruimte en het bad is lekker groot.

Beste flinke Schade gereden tegen een onoverzichtelijk muurtje recht voor de ingang. Na melding hiervan bleek dat dit al vaker gebeurt was. Zelfs bij eigen personeel.

R.J. (9/5): Fijn verblijf, goede sfeer - Fijn verblijf. Op verzoek kregen we extra dekbedden. Het vroor 's nachts, dus dat was fijn. Er is een Nespresso apparaat aanwezig. Goede bedden! Door de verbouwing stonden er stijgers voor de ramen. We kregen een gratis drankje als tegemoetkoming. Dat vonden we een mooi gebaar.

DOGAN (5/5): Very small bathroom, shower water was too hot, and the dinner quality was disappointing. - The hotel was clean and the location was nice. **The bathroom was very small, and if you are tall it is extremely uncomfortable to use. When I tried to take a shower, only extremely hot water was coming out, which made showering very difficult. Unfortunately, the dinner was disappointing as the meat was undercooked.**

Andreas (7/5): Acceptable. - Good breakfast, and rather good dinner option, including smaller portions somewhat cheaper. Free and spacious parking. Fast access to motorway. No flexibility: we had pre-booked breakfast but wanted to cancel it due to an emergency at home, but the hotel insisted on keeping that money and did not cancel it on arrival. Utilities are kept rather on the cheap side, e.g. quality of tee provided in the room, nothing in the fridge, cheapest possible toilet paper.
