- Celine (8/5): - La propriétaire est une dame charmante qui travaille tres fort avec son équipe pour donner des chambres propres. La toilette et la douche sont a l'extérieur de la chambre, mais privé. Ambiance d'ancienne écoles (puisque c'est ce que ses) et vous pourrez voir un magnifique couché de soleile en sortant de l'établissement.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Expensive but unique and clean - Stayed one night on a quick family trip through Gaspésie. In the words of the proprietor, it was an “experience”. Very simple accommodation but clean. The beds were far too soft (probably old). There was a loud gathering above us but it was quickly shut down around 11:00 for the quiet hours, probably because they were told to shut it down. Hard to justify the high price here, but not a lot of options.

- Elizabeth (6/5): - It is very old and smells like an old church. It is an old school, the lady that runs it was great, very friendly and gave us great info on where to eat. The view was amazing, it is across from the st. Lawrence. The bed was a bit hard but the place was clean.

- Robert (6/5): - When we arrived, the door was locked and it took a few minutes for someone to let us in. The hostess was very pleasant but had a staff shortage that day so was a little behind She did her best to accommodate us as best and quickly as she could
- Hari (2/5): - This motel was one of the several places I stayed during my long road trip across Quebec and the Maritimes. I booked this place at the last minute and stayed only one "long" night. It was quite a warm night, but the A/C was only blowing air with no air conditioning at all. I felt the room had no ventilation (at least that's how I felt). I felt stuffy and uncomfortable. The AC fan was too loud to sleep through, so I slept in a room which I believe was poor in air circulation. I couldn't wait for the day break and happily left the place. When a commercial place charges over $100, I expect the quality of the place to correlate the money. In this case, I felt it was not. Arguably it was my worst experience staying in a motel. Additionally, the shower space is too small in my opinion that I was unable to bend down and put soap on my legs. The toilet area is also too small, in my opinion.

- Marie-Eve (6/5): - Nous avons aimé le côté rustique de la vieille école. Nous avions une suite qui était pratique, mais la propreté au niveau de la salle de bain et du plancher laisse à désirer. Matelas très vieux et mou et odeur indésirable dans l'entrée adjacente à la réception.

- Christophe (10/5): Un hôtel atypique au charme certain - J'ai passé une nuit à l'auberge La Vieille Ecole. L'auberge est tout à fait atypique, avec un charme certain. La personne qui m'a accueilli était très sympathique, mais ça, c'est plutôt ben ordinaire au Québec ! Dommage que le confort des chambres (en particulier la chambre solo) soit assez spartiate, en particulier celui de la salle d'eau qui est vraiment très petite. La literie est plutôt confortable cependant. Bref, un motel charmant qui vaut le détour (ou l'arrêt, car vous n'avez pas vraiment de détour à faire !) pour une étape d'une nuit.

Non modifiable et non annulable ! Bunker avec multi caméras, doubles portes qui font trembler les murs….murs en papier de cigarettes , bruyant….bref le pire de tous les hôtels.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Pay 30% more and stay in a palace. - Relatively cheap but still overpriced. The bed and linen were four star but the room was like a prison cell, dark and uninviting. The shared bathroom was like an army barracks. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Denied permission to see our room on arrival as it certainly did not look to good. Pillow case case on our bed had hairs from someone on it. We tefused to stay in such a place!! We were unable to have our money back or cancel charges on our card. This is where we were given a choice to sleep by Expedia.??? This place should not be on a list.
- Diana (8/5): Eclectic decor but charming still - A converted school. Too bad the rooms have been divided up so poorly that sound travels easily. Still, a comfortable, super organized place with a hostel /summer camp feel. A good alternative and well priced compared to a hotel chain.

- Lee (2/5): Unpleasant and Dishonest - The people who runs this hotel are very unpleasant, unhelpful, unprofessional and charge rates higher than booked or advertised. Upon check out they told us they were too busy to provide a receipt for our stay and have simply ignored us. I have multiple charges for the same stay on my credit card and still have no receipt or explanation for the charges they have processed. It has been since July 8th. I have called them three times and emailed four times. Stay else where to avoid holiday complications.
- Avid Traveler (6/5): Inexpensive rooms but... - We stayed in a "suite" with a queen bed and a futon-sofabed. Had a lovely (well-equipped) kitchen and the room was very clean. Staff were available and turned on the heat as it was in the 50's by the coast. The hostel is just across the street from a long beach. The biggest problem is that the building is an old school house and the doors are heavy and slam shut. There is little insulation from noises in the halls or in other rooms and I would suggest requesting a room away from the main doors and the common kitchen.
