- Karen (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE!!! - DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
THE FIRE INSPECTOR, SECURITY INSPECTOR, HEALTH INSPECTOR SHOULD PAY this place a visit. So many things to list. The facilities need to be overhauled or teared down.
Deadbolt on door locked us in. Newer baseboard heaters wired in over old baseboards. One bed was pushed up against baseboard heater. By the time we realized, the comforter was close to burning. Windows painted shut. No lamps just one ceiling light. We left the microwave open to have some light if we got up through the night. Open garbage left outside attracting rodents. Bathroom door didn't close. Our stay that night was the worst stay I have ever experienced, and I travel a lot. Someone with authority should inspect this place and either shut it down, or hold it accountable for all the improvements it needs to bring it up to acceptable standards. I want a REFUND PLEASE EVERYTHING
- Helene (4/5): - The area and the owners were nice The service for housekeeping
- Melissa (3/5): -
- Corry and George (1/5): BRUTAL! - Nothing I paid for the night they took my $ not answere. Door , I booked another place down the road!! They did. Morning for me at this place but say sorry can’t help you!!! Idk paps fiull price n they not answered to let us in after a 16 hour ride!!!!
- Judy (6/5): - Price snd lovation Beds were extremly uncomfortablr
- Natalie (3/5): - The water pressure was horrible and was milky, the mattress uncomfortable.
- Tracy (5/5): A stay I will never forget 😱 - It was easy to find The TV would not connect to the internet. The trap door on the ceiling opened with a BANG at 3:00am and there was dirty hand prints all around the area the next morning. The scary part was it could only be opened from the inside!!! 😱 A real paranormal experience!!!

- Rachel (4/5): Cold all night - clean Heat, didn't or barely worked turned it on froze all night.good thing blankets are warm.
- Lee (2/5): Restless, cold, filthy, non-satisfactory for $152! Or even $25. - Friendly man when I arrived although he did not have my booking info from online, or know that I had already paid. Friendly though. The heat is locked at 14 Celsius . Room temp is 19/20 and it was October. The room was not clean and the bedding, although washed, had stains. Very neglected and drafty window & door seals. Filthy mildrew and dirt on the shower walls and sink. Broken heaters from the 50s and a lot of dirt in them and under them. Mildrew/possible white mold on the back of the bathroom door. The windows are not sealed, they put me right next to someone even those most of the place was vacant. The other guest was very loud and nothing was done about it. It seemed like no staff was on site after 11pm. Noone was there in the morning . I was told my breakfast was not included in my booking even though I paid $152! And the office was locked up / noone present at 9am.
- montana (3/5): Never again - The staff is nice There was black mould in the bathroom a smell of must and the wifi was terrible couldnt even use it at all.
They do not have any parking restrictions and my room was blocked off by a transport truck with a derby car on it, when they left at 5:30?in the morning it woke my daughter up and she was very scared the staff was okay I guess but didn’t care to much about their establishment
- Shaelin (5/5): Decent for the price but would not stay again - People are nice Beds are not very comfortable, stained linen on bed
- F165SSnicholasf (10/5): Stiles is the Ultimate Host - When I called Stiles about my family’s dietary restrictions, he was so kind and understanding. I have included photos of the gorgeous spread of exotic foods that Stiles made for us.
Whether he was serving me fresh avocado and eggs in bed, or caviar in the hot springs, Stiles waited on me hand and foot.
The best part is, he didn’t even charge me tax for the room. I cannot believe Stiles did all of this for $80 cash. It’s obvious that Stiles isn’t in this for money, but rather, for the love of the game. He was born to be an innkeeper/masseuse.
I cannot recommend enough spending your time and money at the Stiles motel.
- Barbara (5/5): - Clean. Nice staff. Good location. Heat was not working.
- Alla (5/5): As a summer motel it is ok. In winter, it took time to get worm. - Location close to the highway -
- Ivan (8/5): Our stay was comfortable and convenient - Good value for the price and in a good location. N/A
- Jeff (1/5): - Tha TV did not have basic channels to watch NFL football. The heat wasn’t turned on and took way too long to heat up. The phone in room never worked alarm clock never worked walls were thin and could hear the people beside me clear and snore through the night. I’m 58 years old and have been around the world and that was the worst motel or hotel I have ever stayed in.
- Mark (7/5): -
- Irwin (3/5): Don't do it - Not much No heat, cold floors, just not a nice place. Low quality and tacky..not impressed and will not return.
- Ashleigh (2/5): Terrible. - Asked for two beds and got a bed and a pull out couch. My mother and i shared the bed. There was someones shirt stuffed behind to dresser. I only know this because we were having trouble with the television above the dresser. The tv had greasy hand prints on it and broken pixels in the middle on the screen. The carpet looked very dirty. Felt the need to keep our shoes on. We stayed in four different motels around the same prices on our trip, and this was hands down the worst.
- Nnenna Abigail (4/5): Travel and see - Nothing really The food
- Patrick (8/5): Great place, good value in today's market - Did not have the breakfast, I left very early Carpets need replacement.
- Berenice (7/5): Price was good - Friendly staff. Good price. Needs updating
- Catherine (6/5): A decent stop while driving - Continent for travel through New Brunswick as it is just off the highway A little outdated and a little noisy
- Megan (7/5): Good place great value - We were travelling with a loaded trailer, there was plenty of space to park. The staff was very friendly and worked with us to find a solution to us arriving after the front office closed due to horrible traffic. The room was clean. The beds were not very comfortable. It almost seemed like the mattresses were old and worn down.
- Pauline (2/5): - Location was good Was cold in room beds way to soft
- Pam (5/5): -
- Connie (4/5): - The curtains wouldn’t close all the way put a bottle on them to keep them closed felt really run down tv was a nightmare to work.the room was clean
- Lynx Dean (5/5): It's a cute place and I would not expect the restaurant to be open. - I like that they had an onsite restaurant. The location was good. Felt safe as it's directly across from a police station. The restaurant was closed the first time I stayed there. The second time it was open and as I had already eaten I just wanted to have a glass of wine. They only sell wine by the bottle and will not alow taking the bottle to the room - they were closing soon. As I did not want to chug a bottle of wine I declined. They really should consider that they would make as much $ selling individual glasses of wine.
- Discover26327160111 (10/5): Clubhouse Restaurant serves excellent food in a quiet, comfortable setting. I highly recommend it! - The Clubhouses Restaurant at the Styles Motel, is fabulous and well worth looking for. The decore, service and food were very much above average. The dining room is well decorated with beautifully curtained windows overlooking the fire station on Main street. The service was fast, attentive and curtious. The Butter Chicken, Harahi chicken and Aloo Gobhi were all excellent with rich, complex flavours and just the right amount of picante heat. The Clubhouse Restaurant has now become my favourite place to eat in Woodstock! Thank you for the great meal and very pleasant dining experience. We will be returning soon.
- Frauke (8/5): -
- Arash (10/5): -
- Arash (10/5): -
- BERNARD (1/5): - Pas de chauffage
Électricité dangereuse
- Vivienne (3/5): would not recommend - location was fine for what we needed stains on the carpet, musky smell, thermostat had no cover on it and when you turned it up past 12 a clicking in the wall right at the head of the bed started, this clicking continued for 30seconds out of every minute
- Gemma (10/5): -
- Perlita (7/5): -
- Perlita (7/5): - Location is good, money value is fair,
- John (4/5): - Floors not vacuumed; carpeting not cleaned and really needs replacement. Very good Indian food, though!
- Kathleen (6/5): Basic Lodging - The motel is being updated so should be better in the future. Based on the photos on booking.com it was just as expected. For a one night stay it's a good value. Our Irish friends wanted a motel experience, so we did this for one night only. The Indian food at the Clubhouse restaurant was excellent and the staff was very friendly. We wish the new owners best of luck. The furniture is old and needs updating. Stained cushion. The rooms had a musty odor and were not conducive to being barefoot.
- Eric (6/5): - Parking lot almost tore parts off the bottom of my car. Outside light didn't work. The room was better than the previous one but it's clear that they only painted over the bathroom door mildew & mold. Old, stained and disgusting carpet, stale smell, spider webs in the windows, window handle broken, no wifi network exists. I did notice they're renovating other rooms. Hopefully they replace EVERYTHING. Behind dresser not clean, under bed not clean, dirty coffee table, sticky / dirty desk, dirt and crumbs in the drawers. When half the place is empty maybe do not put guests beside other guests. It seemed like no staff was present after 11pm (except the loud one living in the room beside me). Staff speaking VERY loudly to eachother outside. I could smell their garbage dumpster from 30 feet away. I could say more but I would be typing for another 10 minutes.
- N (6/5): - Service was reallly good.
Room, old and outdated. Lamp shade was healed together with tape.
Keurig was dirty, water (hot) came out brown and had some creature in it.
Bathroom, let’s just say I had a cowboy bath.
I would have liked to provide more positive feedback but the owners need to try a little harder, start by changing the lighting (fluorescent's are out, cheap running LED”s are in.
- Robert (9/5): Good price while meeting my requirements - They met my parking requirements
Good price for basic hotel stay All was fine as expected they have improved each time I visit now coffee in room
- Joe MacDonald (10/5): It was like stepping into the past in the most wonderful way. Loved it - I love the whole vibe of the place. It's 1950ish old school. Fantastic! Roadside motel. Very clean, staff extremely friendly. It was just a pleasure to experience a night there. Will definitely recommend it and we'll come back
- Terry (5/5): A 9hr stay just to sleep - Location
Option of on site restaurant
2 beds in room
Refrig n microwave
Plenty of hot water
It appears the owners are trying to renovate an old place, kudos No exterior light by door. Entire parking lot was dark. Curb is irregular and hard to navigate in dark. Big fall risk
No heat. A new baseboard system is there which does not work. Woke up to 3 C temp outside. Brrr
Very stained pink fabric chairs. It made me feel they did not clean well. Please discard. Even plastic chairs would be better
No wifi despite info in room they do. The network doesn’t exist! Could be an issue for guests
No electric outlets near bed. Overloaded 4-5 cords in single plug in the room feels risky indeed
Yellow stains on 2 towels which otherwise smelled fresh. ? Oxy clean or spot treat?
- Benoit (8/5): -
- Steve (4/5): - Pets allowed to stay there. Water taps did not work properly. Dirty room. The staff lady was nice, but she was unable to understand what our concerns were. We decided to put up with the issues as we were only staying one night.
- Bourgeois (9/5): -
- Wayne (8/5): - Excellent parking and friendly service
- Esther (8/5): - Yes I would stay again not fancy but was good not much selection for breakfast so I never went I. But the small of Indian food the night before was amazing
- John (10/5): - Good value for money, decent sized room.
- Sharon (5/5): A positive experience overall. A bit more care - and wifi - would make this place more attractive. - An old-style family-run motel in beautiful Woodstock, clearly popular with budget travellers. Though they were busy, it was very quiet. Staff were friendly. The room was spacious. The on-site Indian restaurant was a nice surprise! No wifi. No cable. Pay-for-view (Netflix, etc.) only. This place could really use some TLC. The room was clean, but smelled very stale. The handle on one window was broken. The other window was full of cobwebs (though opened). The door to the room stuck badly. The door to the little fridge dragged on the carpet (just needs some elevation). A bit more care would go a long way.
- Pamela (10/5): - Ok but wouldn’t stay again. Smelled like sweat.
- Chrystine (8/5): - Quiet
- Adonis (2/5): - The first room they gave us was mouldy express smell that immediately gave my wife an allergic reaction. The second room they offered does not have much mouldy smell but ground felt dirty and the washroom faucet does not work can’t shut off the water once it turns on and walls are just scotched tape all over the sink and the tube is extremely dirty. The internet for the TV is extremely weak to nothing can’t even watch a full show on it. A one hour show becomes a five hour stream that we can’t even watch.
- Anthony (10/5): - This is a perfect spot to stay when traveling around the area, very quite, clean rooms with good beds, I'll definetely stay again.
- Denise (4/5): - Pas très propre et le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas!
- Barry (10/5): - Hi all. This place was super. For a low budget motel, it was clean, roomy, clean bathroom and the young lady at the front desk was super. No, not a luxurious place but for the price, just awesome.
- Bob (10/5): - I was getting in late and they waited for me to check in. Parking outside of my door so that my Motorcycle was secure. Yes, it is an older motel and it shows, however it was clean. Staff were very helpful and courteous. It seems that this is a popular motel for sportsmen as several boats and hunters could be seen out and about in the morning. I will be staying here again on my way to Nova Scotia and back home.
- Janusz (6/5): -
- Alain (4/5): - Le tapis est sale et devrait être nettoyer. Les stores aussi.
- Govind (1/5): - Nothing I didn't like anything there very poor facilities and rooms
- Ib (4/5): - The property needs upgrading - paint, windows, electricals, etc. We arrived on a cold, rainy night, and the room heating did not work. The motel has potential.
- leslie (6/5): - Clean area noisey with traffic and police station and fire across street.
But room needs fixing up , and some air fresheners in it as smells dam musty but worth it for cost as not there long .
- Marjorie (10/5): - Quiet, safe, clean. Inexpensive, but had the essentials... microwave, frig, bathroom, comfortable Queen bed, soft & clean sheets and coverlet, parking, wi-fi.
Should have better/thicker bed pillow or two of them.
- REJEAN (10/5): - Ok but old building. Meets the price
- Katelyn (2/5): - This place should be condemned. It is unfit for even an overnight stay with filthy floor mats, lounge chairs and broken deadbolts. I would never recommend anyone to ever stay here.
- Ronald (5/5): -
- Henri (6/5): - the staff was no
- Lorna (2/5): - We didn’t stay as the rooms were dirty and very smelly so I am waiting for my refund to go through. I told the receptionist that it wasn’t her fault. I have stayed in a lot of motels and have never cancelled immediately after I just paid for the room
- Dominique (8/5): -
- Nancy (8/5): -
- Stewart (4/5): - The young woman that served us at check in and in the restaurant was very nice. The adjacent Clubhouse restaurant was good. However, the accommodations were barely fit for human occupancy... Needs updating and repairs. We should have paid more and stayed elsewhere.
- Mohammed (4/5): - need to change the furniture to avoid smell and insects
- Singh (10/5): - Staff is very cooperative. Food is yummy .even not over charged. I think they should replace carpet .
- Mohammed (6/5): - Good Location, value for money. Plethora of parking. Nice Restaurant. The only concerns are old furniture and carpets. Once replaced, I am sure smell and insects will be reduced.
- Mike (5/5): -
- DayTrip55986697373 (2/5): Bad beyond belief . - Drive on by and don't look back . Absolutely the nastiest motel i've stayed in . Late , rainy night travelling so went the nearest cheap option . Door would not lock , stained sheets , duvet and towels . The room was filthy with a family of twelve living next to me and nowhere to park . Yes i know the Police are across the atreet but yet didn't hamper a guest ( staying in a van ) from taking a chit behind the dumpstee in front of my room . Took a quick rest , dressed on top of pulles down sheets and left at first sign of light . This motel should be torn down .
- Simon (3/5): Für die Durchreise lag das Motel günstig. - Das Zimmer hatte einen sehr starken Gestank, der es schwer machte, sich dort wohl zu fühlen. Das Frühstück ist nicht zu empfehlen.
- Detectin (6/5): - Room needs a good deep clean, it felt old.
Price as right tho!
- Maurizio (6/5): -
- Singh (10/5): Best place to stay in budget - Owner of the property and staff are very cooperative. We reached 12 am , lady on reception deal us well .even asked for tea or coffee.
- Claude (7/5): Fit the bill was looking for something cheap - Cheap Old
- Bilodeau (6/5): -
- Diana (6/5): -
- F8306SAjohng (2/5): What a dump - If not the worst place I've stayed, it's pretty close. The toilet was filthy and had something in it, and the key broke off in the door. They gave us a different room with 2 queen beds, only one of which was usable. The other was more like a cheap hammock, it sagged badly. The air-conditioning was about a foot above the pillows, terrible. The carpet was dirty, the free internet was usless. And the TV kept dropping the signal, not watchable. I would not recommend this dump to anyone.
- Michael (8/5): - I liked the value for your money. I didn’t like the early knock on the door when I was still sleeping at 9:20 am.
- Maurizio (6/5): -
- Vincent (6/5): - Good location & friendly staff
- Wayne (10/5): - Stayed for there one night because of the wind and rain, the room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, only place to plug in my laptop was in the bathroom, however from the plug to the desk, the adapter was long enough to reach, so no problem. This place was built in 1925 and most of it has been upgraded to modern conveniences while looking as authentic as possible. All in all it suited my need for the night.
- Natacha (6/5): -
- Stephane (4/5): Allez ailleur - Rien Tout...les chambres sont sales, l'extérieur est sale, les chambres sentent mauvais. N'y aller surtout pas...vaut mieux payer plus cher que de dormir dans ce trou.
- Vadym (7/5): On balance it was a good place to stop whkle - L9cation was good.
- Jannene (8/5): - One night stop on road trip. It was fine. Clean, reasonably priced. We arrived, slept, and were on the road again early the next morning.
- Nancy (8/5): -
- Dave (8/5): Comfortable -
