- Denna (2/5): - Would have probably stayed again why waiting on my house to be done. But the guy at the front desk was rude the second time me and my partner ever stayed here. He said we were homeless and he didn't want that type of trash there. I told him he had his opinion but I know that I am not homeless and sorry for his loss in money until my house was ready. He was rude for no reason. My boyfriend and I don't look homeless nor do we look like we don't have a home. My boyfriend was off from work until the day after we left here dude was really rude for no reason. Will never stay here again. That's therir loss not minee.
- Patricia (8/5): - The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the proprietor was very nice. The motel is very OLD and in need of updates desperately. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel/motel and was handed an actual room key instead of an electronic card. The door lock was a single deadbolt (barely), but there was no chain or secondary security device. We were in town for a graduation and only stayed one night, and the price was reasonable.
- Roman (10/5): Bargain rates for nice no-frill rooms - Simple hotel/motel not far from the VT Campus. It's a bit dated but at least it's clean. The manager was friendly and accommodating to my request for non-smoking room. It's definitely a no frills place but the rooms have nice size refrigerators and microwave ovens.

- Robert (2/5): - While I went in with modest expectations, I found myself thoroughly disappointed. First, the towels in the room were dirty and stained which set the tone There was no hot water during my stay. Taking a cold shower was uncomfortable and frustrating. Finally, the pervasive smell of smoke and weed lingered in and out of the room the air Overall, I would not recommend the Budget Inn except as a last chance nowhere else to stay place. Its worth staying a little farther away.
- Dawn (4/5): - This hotel is VERY old and the furniture and carpet are extremely dated. When we opened the door to our room, there was an overwhelming musty smell probably from the carpet. A lot of the other guests looked pretty sketchy as well. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend staying here.
- Casey (2/5): - So when we arrived for college move in The first thing I do is check the beds for bedbugs and cleanliness. Both beds were disgusting. The comforters were just flipped over and one of them literally had blood and vomit on it so when I went to tell them about it, she asked to put me in another room went to that room Same thing happened. Housekeeping didn’t wash any of the linens or bedding, just flipped over the comforter that literally had stains and God knows what on it food blood nail polish it was disgusting. They would not give him my money back, and I would never recommend anybody to go there. It’s inhumane .
- Tushar (2/5): - The room wasn't really cleaned, there was even an empty beer bottle behind the bed. The tub was not clean either, and the toilet actually wasn't even secured to the floor. The bed was rickety and didn't feel clean, and the blanket provided had what looked like a cigarette burn. There are a ton of other issues I noticed, but those are the major ones that come to mind. It was cheap and I only needed it for a bed to sleep in during a cross-country move so it sufficed since I had a blanket to use in my car.

- Sonia (2/5): - Stayed here for 2 nights for my son's graduation at Virginia Tech. It was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I am not a hotel snob. I don't mind budget low cost hotels as long as they are clean. This place was HORRIBLE. It smelled like stale smoke, I had to keep all hanging clothes in the car and suitcase zipped so my clothes wouldn't smell. The carpet was filthy and disgusting, wore. my shoes the entire time in the room. The bedspread cover was disgusting...full of stains, looked like it had never been washed. All the furniture in the room had cigarette burns and filthy. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this hotel for any amount of money. I paid 150 a night, I was desperate, everything in the area was sold out. I almost slept in my car the place was so dirty!!! The manager was nice enough but really needs to clean up this place or tear it down and start over.
- Donna (4/5): - This Motel is an aging dump, generally dirty, owned by foreigners. The key is an old style key with the name, address and room number on the plastic with "if found drop in any mailbox". Better not lose this key cause they will know exactly how to find you! Was maybe cute in the 60s, but a security issue these days. We forgot Shampoo and when we asked the front desk we were told they don't give that to guest. Total price for two nights was $148.00 so it's not all that cheap compared to other lower priced Motels in Christionsburg we have stayed in before. We won't make this mistake again. Don't believe the pictures online and read the reviews, which we didn't as we should have.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Basic motel - This is a no frills budget hotel, and it's a great value but don't expect anything fancy. It was quiet and clean and close to the Christiansburg Aquatics Center.
- SUSAN (8/5): - We stayed here because it was so inexpensive. We liked that there is a fridge & microwave in the room, but wished there was coffee, at least a Keurig or something in the lobby.
- Diane (6/5): Will not revisit. - Room was decent but the bathroom door wouldn't close and they only had 1 hand towel and 1 medium size towel no wash cloth or other towels. A small bar of soap, no other amenities.

Was very rude. The place smelled walking into the office. It was very dirty. Along with the parking lot it's self.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Could have been better - The gentleman at Check-In was wonderful & very nice. Glad for that or may have left had it not been already dark. Towels would have been nice. Only in town 1 night for a family funeral so chose this location for convenience. Nearby store was helpful for odor eliminator spray as the non-smoking sign on door clearly had not been followed. Had to even spray my clothes. Fortunately, I'd been raised to always make the best of any bad situation. Did, however, feel safe in this location as an older female alone.

The bathroom, sink, and bed seemed like they might have been clean enough, but the chairs in the room were so yucky that I couldn't sit down, and it made me feel nervous and uncomfortable about everything else in the room. There was a cardboard box and a toilet plunger on the walkway right in front of the door to my room and the door lock seemed ancient. I only stayed on of the three nights I was scheduled because it was so not good.

But the room I walked in and some type of flying bug was on the pillow . Then I turned the cover over and a stain was on there . So I’m not sure if they’re just pulling the sheets back over or actually cleaning them. Beside that it was ok

Couple creepy holes around the top of the bathroom walls. Shower was made for very short people or children. Water pressure sucked! But the bed was awesome!! Very quiet location! Was freaked out a little with the mice trap hidden behind the trash can. Office man was friendly.

- Jeff (10/5): Budget Inn Stay - Though the television was too small for me to see from the bed, with my limited eyesight, everything else was exellent! My check-in was very easy, and the Clerk very Courteous. I will definitely stay there again, should the occasion arise! And a Burger King just a few yards away for dinner & Breakfast too!

- Melissa (2/5): Bed Bugs and Smokey smelling Non Smoking room - Bed bugs attacked me overnight. I went to doctor back home that evening. I’m on high dose of steroids.Also, room 7 said non smoking and all of my clothes now smell like smoke. I talked to owners and he is refunding me... I haven’t seen it yet.

Person and the manager was not there,but some man hanging over the railing of upper level of the property informed us the manager was picking up his daughter from school and hed be back in 15 minutes. We waited the man over the railing stared at us the whole time. Iwas with my daughter just two women. While waiting we noticed all doors opened to the parking lot rights on the main street in not a nice part of town. Manger gets. Ack in about 20 minutes we walk up to hotel and we have to be buzzed in to avery small room and the manager is behind glass. After viewing tbe property and waiting for the managerwe told him we weren't staying here we did not feel safe. He said that's a right im charging you anyways. I refused to pay we would not stay in such an unsafe place for 2 women. By the way the man who told us the manager would be back in 15 lives there. The manager office had security needed to be buzzed in ours did not.

The beds were comfortable, plenty of parking, the a/c and heat worked great, there were fresh towels, a mini fridge/microwave, it was quiet, and the shower had decent water pressure. When we booked the room there was only a smoking room available. The man at the front counter was nice enough to move us to a non-smoking room upon our arrival. The hotel was about 15 minutes from VT and for the price it was perfect.

- Steven (8/5): Very clean but essentially no amenities - Good, quiet location. Motel recently remodeled. Everything clean and shiny. Beds very comfortable. Essentially no amenities. No place to hang clothes. No hair dryer. No iron. No guide to TV channels. No breakfast (actually a good point for me as I usually don't like motel breakfasts).

When I talked to the front desk he just shrugged his shoulders and pointed to the power line on top of the building. Would not stay here again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Functional - I went in knowing what I was getting. It was the last hotel room in the area and to sleep for 5 hours and go it was functional. The bed was comfortable but it is about 4-5 decades past due for a remodel. Walls were dirty with lots of patches and repairs. The gentleman at the desk was very polite.

- Dave (8/5): As expected - As expected, its an older motel, room was clean, tv worked, had hot water, it does have the older style heater/air conditioning so it does make a good amount of noise but you have to deal with it, wi fi worked ok in short time I used it, 0.9 off the 81 so very convenient, Burger King right next door open late on a Saturday night , room appeared to be pretty clean, beds have seen better days, pretty stiff, but I was tired. Was awakened early by someone who was trying to fix and issue with wipers but thats not the hotels fault. For an overnight, I couldnt beat the price, got enough sleep to make it ok
